How progressives keep African Americans in a perpetual state of grievance.

Back in the day, when hunting was the major source of food, hunters often used stalking horses as a means of sneaking up on their quarry. They would walk on the opposite side of the horse until they were close enough to place a good shot on whatever they were hunting. A stalking horse not only concealed them but also, if their target was an armed man and they were discovered, would take the first shot. That’s what blacks are to liberals and progressives in their efforts to transform America — stalking horses.

Let’s look at some of the ways white liberals use black people. One of the more obvious ways is for liberals to equate any kind of injustices suffered by homosexuals and women to the black struggle for civil rights. But it is just plain nonsense to suggest any kind of equivalency between the problems of homosexuals and women and the centuries of slavery followed by Jim Crow, lynching, systematic racial discrimination and the blood, sweat and tears of the black civil rights movement.

The largest and most powerful labor union in the country is the National Education Association, with well over 3 million members. Teachers benefit enormously from their education monopoly. It yields higher pay and lower accountability. It’s a different story for a large percentage of black people who receive fraudulent education. The NEA’s white liberals — aided by black teachers, politicians and so-called black leaders — cooperate to ensure that black parents who want their children to have a better education have few viable choices.

Whenever there has been a serious push for school choice, educational vouchers, tuition tax credits or even charter schools, the NEA has fought against it. One of the more callous examples of that disregard for black education was New York Mayor Bill de Blasio’s cutback on funding for charter schools where black youngsters were succeeding in getting a better education.

That was de Blasio’s way of paying back New York’s teachers union for the political support it gave him in his quest for the mayor’s office.

White liberals in the media and academia, along with many blacks, have been major supporters of the recent marches protesting police conduct. A man from Mars, knowing nothing about homicide facts, would conclude that the major problem black Americans have with murder and brutality results from the behavior of racist policemen. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, there are about 200 police arrest-related deaths of blacks each year (between 300 and 400 for whites). That number pales in comparison with the roughly 7,000 annual murders of blacks, 94 percent of which are committed by blacks. The number of blacks being murdered by other blacks is of little concern to liberals. Their agenda is to use arrest-related deaths of blacks to undermine established authority.

Liberals often have demeaning attitudes toward blacks. When Secretary of State John Kerry was a U.S. senator, in a statement about so many blacks being in prison, he said, “That’s unacceptable, but it’s not their fault.” Would Kerry also say that white prison inmates are also faultless? Johns Hopkins University sociologist Andrew Cherlin told us: “It has yet to be shown that the absence of a father was directly responsible for any of the supposed deficiencies of broken homes. … (The problem) is not the lack of male presence but the lack of male income.” The liberal vision is that fathers and husbands can be replaced by a welfare check.

Liberals desperately need blacks. If the Democratic Party lost just 30 percent of the black vote, it would mean the end of the liberal agenda. That means blacks must be kept in a perpetual state of grievance in order to keep them as a one-party people in a two-party system. When black Americans finally realize how much liberals have used them, I’m betting they will be the nation’s most conservative people. Who else has been harmed as much by liberalism’s vision and agenda?

Cop-bashing New York mayor Bill de Blasio seems genuinely surprised at the ferocious backlash against him in light of the execution-style weekend killing of two local cops.

After spending the past year in office attacking police, the mayor is now scrambling to put the pin back into the grenade he threw into the local body politic. His crusade against the police goes back at least to his election campaign last year when he caustically criticized then-mayor Michael Bloomberg’s stop-and-frisk policy.

De Blasio is appealing for calm and for a temporary suspension of the ugly anti-police protests his incendiary rhetoric has spawned.

Strangely, this far-left radical who, like his ally in the White House never puts politics aside for the benefit of the community, is now asking New Yorkers to do precisely that.

So far the New York Police Department isn’t in a mood to forgive de Blasio who has teamed up with racial arsonist Al Sharpton to lay waste to what’s left of civil society in the Big Apple. Before the two murders Sharpton had been leading marches where the demonstrators chanted, “What do we want? Dead cops.” Taking cues from the Westboro Baptist Church, Sharpton followers showed up at one cop memorial service chanting and heckling the mourners.

NYPD union leaders have asked de Blasio to skip police funerals and a large gathering of cops turned their backs on the mayor as he showed up Saturday at the Brooklyn hospital where the lifeless bodies of officers Rafael Ramos, 40, and Wenjian Liu, 32, had been taken after they were shot dead by an adherent of the Religion of Peace.

The shooter, Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley, was a Muslim apparently upset at what he believed were the racist killings of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. and Eric Garner in Staten Island. He indicated he was planning to kill “pigs,” and as Robert Spencer notes, “Brinsley’s Facebook page featured a photo of the Qur’an open to the eighth chapter, where Allah exhorts the believers to ‘strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah‘ (8:60).“

Since de Blasio was sworn in last New Year’s Day, New Yorkers have, in fits and starts, begun to realize that they elected a dangerously erratic Sandinista-loving radical as mayor. Although de Blasio’s reaction to the cop murders strikes many in the punditry as incompetent, they are being charitable. De Blasio’s behavior reflects his pathological, hateful, profoundly anti-American ideology. He can’t conceal his contempt for those whose job it is to promote law and order.

This is what happens when a small-c communist becomes mayor of the nation’s greatest metropolis.

Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, who helped turn New York from a crime-infested urban jungle into the relatively crime-free city his successors inherited, said it was “shameful” for politicians to drive a wedge between police and the communities they serve.

“Police misconduct is a minor part of the problem. Community, serious violent crime is a much bigger part of the problem,” Giuliani said.

“The people who are saving black lives in the city are [you] the New York City Police Department. I’m not doing it. President Obama’s not doing it. Mayor De Blasio’s not doing it. He’s not out at night walking down housing developments and trying to save children from being killed. Police officers are doing the most, right now, in these very very poor communities and sometimes they’re white communities, but where there are black communities and police officers are doing the most to save the children that are at greatest risk. The politicians with this propaganda separating the community from the police, are doing something that’s shameful and they have to stop doing that. The vast majority of police want to help and the politicians’ rhetoric should reflect the truth, not propaganda.”

But de Blasio isn’t anything like Giuliani or even like Bloomberg, his immediate predecessor, a micromanaging Big Gulp-grabber who now seems like an exemplar of common sense compared to the current mayor.

De Blasio is in many ways President Obama’s “mini me,” except unlike Obama, he has loud critics in the media who for the most part has not been giving him a free ride.

But de Blasio hasn’t generated all of this racial hostility and antipathy toward cops on his own. He’s had a lot of help from President Obama who has been trying to kickstart a wave of civil unrest since even before he took office. The president’s policy of trying to foment violent civil unrest is finally paying dividends.

Attacking the police, as Obama has been doing for years, isn’t exactly a courageous act. The police are easy targets for leftist agitators. Riling up minorities over real and imagined abuses is child’s play. Even Al Sharpton can do it.

On the 2008 campaign trail, the president belittled small town Americans, implying they were racist, a time-honored leftist smear of conservatives. “And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.“

Not too long after his inauguration in 2009 the new president mocked Cambridge, Mass. police by saying they “acted stupidly” by arresting Obama’s close personal friend, black liberal academic Henry Louis Gates Jr. This led to the seemingly pointless public relations event known as the so-called beer summit between James Crowley (the arresting officer), Gates, and Obama. There was never any evidence that Gates’s arrest had anything to do with his skin color. Arrester and arrestee agreed to disagree yet Obama succeeded in scoring points with his radical base.

Campaigning in 2010, Obama demonized non-Latinos.

“If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re gonna punish our enemies, and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us’ — if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election — then I think it’s going to be harder. And that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2nd.”

The same year he invoked Rosa Parks and segregation in order to ridicule Republicans. “We don’t mind the Republicans joining us,” Obama told the faithful. “They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

In 2012 Obama suggested if he failed to win reelection minorities would suffer.

“The notion that we’re all in this together, that we look out for one another–that’s at stake in this election,” he said. “Don’t take my word for it. Watch some of these [Republican] debates that have been going on up in New Hampshire.” Later that year he added Republicans “want to take us back to the policies more suited to the 1950s than the 21st century.”

In 2012 he needlessly inserted race into the Trayvon Martin saga by saying, “if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.“ Although the shooter who was eventually acquitted, so-called white Hispanic George Zimmerman, wasn’t a police officer, he was an authority figure of sorts as a neighborhood watch volunteer.

Working with Sharpton, the Obama administration sicced the left-wing community organizers of the Justice Department’s Community Relations Service (CRS) on the unsuspecting people of Sanford, Fla. after the death of Martin. Evidence established that Martin attacked Zimmerman, who avoided legal liability because he acted in self-defense.

Even after the acquittal Obama insisted on meddling. He said that “Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago,” and gave yet another lecture on race.

Obama vigorously milked the August death of Michael Brown at the hands of white Ferguson, Mo. police officer Darren Wilson.

Brown, an 18-year-old black male, was killed after he beat Wilson and tried to grab his handgun. Brown’s defenders characterize him as a gentle giant even though a few minutes earlier he was captured on video committing a strong-arm robbery at a convenience store, roughing up a much smaller clerk in the process.
Obama dishonored his country by giving a speech at the United Nations citing Brown’s killing as something Americans should be ashamed of. After the grand jury refused to indict Wilson, Obama ramped up his rhetoric, claiming that racism is deeply rooted in American society.

A major difference between de Blasio and Obama is that the mayor doesn’t have the president’s silver tongue. Serious calls for de Blasio’s ouster are now coming from civic leaders throughout New York.

But don’t hold your breath waiting for de Blasio to resign. Radical leftists rarely give up power without a fight.

Like any good radical leftist, Bill de Blasio views the cops of the NYPD as pigs working for the man. It never occurs to him that the cops are collecting 1/5th of his salary and that he is the man.

How crazy is Bill de Blasio when it comes to the police? As crazy as a drug dealer high on his own product sitting in a cop bar.

The bad blood between the NYPD and de Blasio is nothing new — it dates back to an election campaign centered on de Blasio’s withering criticism of the Bloomberg administration’s stop-and-frisk policy, and his close alliance with the Rev. Al Sharpton, who has organized scores of protests targeting cops over their behavior toward urban blacks.

According to a former de Blasio aide, during the general election campaign in 2013 de Blasio’s team was even convinced that members of his police detail were eavesdropping on his private conversations in his city-assigned car. Things got so bad that de Blasio, according to the staffer, would step into the street to make sure he was out of earshot of plainclothes officers.

It’s deeply telling that De Blasio’s people are this crazy and paranoid. It’s what you expect of radical leftists who recite Cointelpro as their talking point. In their mind this really is some kind of revolution and they’ve been acting this way.

De Blasio was savvy enough to bring in Bratton, but not savvy enough to stop surrounding himself with Sharpton’s cronies and the sort of people who celebrate cop killers.

The NYPD isn’t throwing its weight around, as the media insists. It’s reacting to an administration that is nakedly hostile to it.

Progressives like Obama and De Blasio have a love/hate relationship with the media.

That would be the same media which kept insisting that the violent racist protesters were peaceful.

But progressives like Obama and De Blasio seem to have an odd love/hate relationship with the media. The moment a negative note intrudes into the positive coverage, they lash out.

He accused the reporters assembled in front of him of stoking outrage by focusing on “the few” protesters doing “immoral” things.

“They are wrong,” he said, his voice rising.

“But are you going to keep dividing us? What you manage to do is pull up the few who do not represent the majority.”

He called it “unfair,” and insisted most protesters were peaceful but “you guys enable” the troublemakers.

He went on in the vein for several minutes, becoming more forceful and shutting down a persistent reporter by addressing him as “my friend,” a phrase he paired with a death stare.

Rather than convince, the tirade revealed. Like looking at an X-ray, we saw the real de Blasio. It wasn’t a pretty sight.

His heart remains with the protesters, and in spirit, he is still with them, denouncing the very police force that works for him. His passion for the anti-cop agenda is so deep that he wasn’t capable of following his own advice to take a break from divisiveness for even a single day.

Is the media not supposed to report on the arrests of violent protesters who attack police? Is it supposed to carry even more water for that crowd?

Is Bill de Blasio, who turned over City Hall to Al Sharpton, really accusing the media of dividing New Yorkers? Does he think the cops turned their backs to him because of the media? It’s a pathetic and ridiculous performance.

It’s probably not guilt.

Bill de Blasio has made it abundantly clear that he’s here for the criminals. Not for New Yorkers. Like a lot lefties he’s waiting for the outrage over the murder of two cops by one of the Ferguson/Garner protesters to die down so he can get go back to backing up Al Sharpton’s racist hate campaign.

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton visited the scene of the horrific attack in Brooklyn and Gov. Andrew Cuomo paid a wrenching condolence call at the home of one of the slain cops, but de Blasio ran from reporters and was nowhere to be found after the church service.

He showed up for 10:15 a.m. Mass with his wife, Chirlane McCray, and Bratton, with all three sitting in a front-row pew as Cardinal Timothy Dolan urged prayers for the slain cops’ families, the NYPD — and the embattled mayor.

Reporters were then told to leave the church early for a nearby news conference with the mayor, but de Blasio — who was snubbed by scores of cops at Woodhull Hospital on Saturday — scooted out after the service and ignored questions as he hopped into an SUV.

The cops have made it very clear that Bill de Blasio’s support for the anti-cop and anti-white lynch mobs led to this atrocity. They’ve made it even clearer that they’re not going to allow themselves to be used for photo ops by Bill de Blasio who just wants to redirect outrage away from his rotten administration.

So he put in a show and then abandoned a press conference preemptively before heading to whatever he genuinely considers important, probably a new plan to pardon drug dealers or move serial rapists into public housing.

Lynch mobs have consequences.

A lynch mob is all fun and games until someone actually gets lynched.

At first everyone has a good time marching around and shouting “Black Lives Matter” and “I Can’t Breathe.” The police are accused of being racist killers by the defenders of actual racist killers like Mumia Abu Jamal. Every community organizer within a thousand miles shows up to brandish signs claiming cops are randomly killing innocent black men even as he spits and throws bottles at any cop within reach. Not to mention engaging in the occasional act of convenience store redistribution.

The Mayor of New York City announces that his ridiculously famous son has to be afraid of the police. Obama agrees that his imaginary son also has to be afraid of the police. Their claims are equally plausible.

The lynch mobs make it their mission to invade holiday events, protest parades and scream racist rants. Then they begin attacking police officers. The media insists that protests whose participants chant, “What do we want? Dead cops!” are peaceful.

This homicidally insane definition of “peaceful” had only previously been applied to Islam.

And then, shockingly, surprisingly, out of the blue, protests led by Al Sharpton featuring violent attacks on cops finally achieve their goal with the murder of two police officers.

Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley announced on Instagram, “I’m Putting Wings On Pigs Today. They Take 1 Of Ours…Let’s Take 2 of Theirs.” #ShootThePolice #RIPErivGarner #RIPMike Brown.

It may have been the first murder that came with its own progressive social media hashtags.

But even the most violently peaceful lynch mobs eventually end with a lynching. There is no such thing as a peaceful lynch mob. There is no such thing as peacefully supporting a lynch mob.

Al Sharpton is not just an MSNBC talk show host. He isn’t a goofy fellow who mispronounces things on the teleprompter. He isn’t these things just as he wasn’t a funny fat man in a track suit wearing a gold medallion the size of the Bronx around his neck.

Those are the things that make him seem like a joke. And he isn’t a joke. He leads lynch mobs.

Sharpton led a lynch mob through Crown Heights and racist violence tore the neighborhood apart and took lives. He led a lynch mob to a store in Harlem and the store burned with employees inside.

That is what lynch mobs do.

Since then Sharpton slimmed down and swapped out colorful track suits for expensive custom made Soho pinstripe suits. He became a regular visitor to the White House and City Hall. He spoke at the Democratic National Convention and got a slot on that party’s favorite news network.

And then twenty years later he brought back the lynch mobs. And once again people died.

Two cops are dead in New York City because Barack Obama, Bill de Blasio and the Democratic Party embraced Sharpton and everything he stood for. They embraced his racist ideology of hate.

They made their party into the party of crime.

Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu weren’t white. Their only crime was being cops in a city whose radical left-wing mayor and media had signed off on an anti-cop campaign. Their deaths are a bloody reminder that black racism isn’t limited to white people.

The elites celebrating the return of left-wing rule to New York City after decades of Republicans in Gracie Mansion had forgotten the most important lesson that New Yorkers of all races had learned during the years of Sharpton’s terror; black racist lynch mobs kill as surely as white ones do.

Now Bill de Blasio is wiping away crocodile tears at a press conference while Al Sharpton and the gang of gutter activists that trails these protests is pretending to be shocked and surprised that their lynch mobs actually killed two cops. The same media that had been ridiculing the NYPD for its “hysterical” warnings that the racist lynch mobs would cost lives is also putting on its best shocked face for the cameras.

Sharpton is doing what he always does best: Playing provocateur and then trying to wash his hands of the consequences. Al never kills anyone. He just riles up the mob and someone in the mob does the dirty work. Al works the mob and through him the mob has a direct line to the White House.

When FDR put Hugo Black in the Supreme Court, he put the Klan on the Court. The Democratic Party’s hate groups and lynch mobs may have changed color, but everything else stayed the same.

When Obama made Sharpton his messenger to the black community, when Bill de Blasio let Sharpton and his people control city government and when Attorney General Eric Schneiderman promised that Sharpton would have an “annex” in the state capitol, the Democratic Party embraced the man whose racist rhetoric took more lives than the 1963 Birmingham church bombing.

The Democratic Party and its top politicians didn’t just endorse Sharpton. They endorsed his tactics and his hate. Now the blood of two murdered police officers is on their hands.

“The mayor’s hands are literally dripping with our blood because of his words, actions and policies,” the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association has said. “The blood of 2 executed police officers is on the hands of Mayor de Blasio,” is the message from the Sergeants Benevolent Association.

But Bill de Blasio did not act alone. He did what the rest of his party had gotten used to doing. The Democratic Party reverted to its roots of a party of crime. It forgot the lesson of the Willie Horton ad. It tested the waters by promoting “sentencing reform” for drug dealers and then it went all in by race-baiting the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases. It was so enthused about recruiting community organizers and increasing black turnout that it forgot that lynch mobs don’t vote. They kill.

Suddenly the tactics that Sharpton had pioneered in his track suit days became the face of the Democratic Party. New Tawana Brawleys were crawling out from under every rock in the nation. Innocents senselessly attacked by vile cops whose stories turned out to be about as real as Sharpton’s tax records. Everyone was having fun telling lies and screaming hate and then cops began to die.

Now the Democratic Party’s top crooks are clumsily trying to wash away the cop blood on their hands.

Attorney General Eric Holder can’t headline Sharpton’s events and then pretend to be upset when two cops are killed. Neither can Bill de Blasio or Barack Obama. Their phony condemnations don’t come with a promise to abandon the pro-crime politics and policies that led to the murder of two police officers.

Targeting the police makes it difficult for the police to defend themselves or anyone else. When the police can’t defend themselves, then they pull back. When they pull back, crime takes off. Cities become terrifying places. The middle class flees. Thriving cities go bankrupt and become permanent welfare cases. They become Democratic Party plantations. That’s what Obama and De Blasio wanted.

There is one fundamental question that must be asked of Obama, of Holder, of de Blasio and the media; are we a nation of laws or a nation of lynch mobs?

Obama claimed that the racist protests were needed because a “country’s conscience has to be triggered by some inconvenience.” Attorney General Eric Holder said that the protests provided “momentum to a necessary conversation.”

Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley concluded Holder’s conversation by reminding us of what the stakes are.

We cannot function as a nation when a political party representing half the country decides that it wants to stand with criminals against police officers, with racists and race-baiters against working families and with lynch mobs against anyone who gets in their way.

It’s not only the blood of these two police officers that is on their hands, but the blood of every victim of crime who could have been saved if the Democratic Party had not embraced gun control, sentencing reform and criminal rights.

After Dukakis got thumped and Dinkins got dumped, the Democratic Party pretended to reform. It pretended to understand that Americans wanted it to stand with cops, not criminals.

Now it’s back to its criminal ways.

Lynch mobs have consequences. So do crack dealers, serial rapists and armed robbers. Standing up to crime also means standing up to politicians who support crime.

This is what a city whose radical left-wing mayor is at war with the police looks like. While Bill de Blasio/Wilhelm tried to put on a show of concern after the murder of two cops by a Black Muslim as “revenge for Garner”, the cops weren’t buying it.

De Blasio had turned his administration over to Sharpton. He had backed the racist Brown/Garner protests that terrorized New Yorkers and many other people in this country.

And the police who put their lives on the line protecting New Yorkers from his voting base of thugs, criminals and junkies gave him their answer.

Apparently stirring up a lynch mob leads to murder. Who knew that?

Who but the people who lived in the city during Sharpton’s reign of terror, who remember innocent men murdered in Crown Heights and at Freddy’s because Obama’s new best friend and Bill de Blasio’s unofficial Chief of Staff was trying to get rich and famous.

Now two cops are dead and the former commissioner is putting the blame exactly where it belongs.

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik told Newsmax that Saturday’s execution-style shooting of two uniformed police officers was ultimately encouraged by Mayor Bill De Blasio and the Rev. Al Sharpton — and “they have blood on their hands.”

“De Blasio, Sharpton and all those who encouraged this anti-cop, racist mentality all have blood on their hands,” he said. “They have blood on their hands.”

“This guy’s intent — based on that Instagram post — was retribution for Eric Garner and Michael Brown,” he told Newsmax. “The people who encouraged these protests — you had peaceful protesters who were screaming ‘kill the cops’ — the so-called peaceful protesters.

“Who was encouraging these protesters? De Blasio, Sharpton and other elected officials and community leaders. They encouraged this mentality. They encouraged this behavior.

“They encouraged it — and these two cops are dead because of people like them,” Kerik said. “They don’t owe the cops an apology.

“An apology isn’t good enough. They have blood on their hands.”

I would add to that all the fake conservatives who cheered on the Garner mob on Twitter and in articles. I spoke out against these people from Day 1, most of whom have don’t live in urban area and have absolutely no clue of the real dynamics of a situation like this.

I don’t expect Sharpton or De Blasio to examine their consciences. They don’t have them. But it would be nice if some of the people on the right who jumped on the Garner case without having Clue 1 about it would consider the role they played in blowing it up.

“He is not running the City of New York. He thinks he’s running a f- -king revolution,”

This is getting ugly and getting ugly fast. Even relations with Dinkins didn’t go down this fast.

Walking past cops working an area where Garner/Brown marchers would be going through, I overheard conversations about New York’s new leftist mayor and I doubt there were two words in a dozen of them that I could print.

Mayor Bill de Blasio acts more like the leader of “a f- -king revolution” than a city, police union president Pat Lynch said at a recent delegate meeting.

“He is not running the City of New York. He thinks he’s running a f- -king revolution,” said Lynch, head of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, during the private gathering in Queens last Friday.

Lynch, who was secretly recorded, also all but ordered a rule-book slowdown, according to the seven-minute tape obtained by Capital New York.

“If we won’t get support when we do our jobs . . . then we’re going to do it the way they want it,” Lynch said. “Let me be perfectly clear: We will use extreme discretion in every encounter.”

Lynch, when referring to de Blasio, encouraged members to be wary of what he called “enemies.” “Our friends, we’re courteous to them. Our enemies, extreme discretion,” he said. “The rules are made by them to hurt you. Well, now we’ll use those rules to protect us.

Before De Blasio won, I told privileged lefties who had forgotten what the city was like before Giuliani what was going to be coming their way. The Village Voice attacked me for writing it and accused me of being vindictive.

No more fascist cops hassling “innocent” people. Bill de Blasio won’t put up with any of that. De Blasio will put the cops in their place, inside a Dunkin Donuts and away from people. They’ll still get paid. They’re in a union. They just won’t lift a finger to help you because they’ll have more special monitors and civilian complaint review boards on their necks than they can handle.

And next time one of the innocent victims of Stop and Frisk is pounding your face into the sidewalk with one hand while digging through your pockets with the other, wave to the pair of beat cops sitting in the window of the coffee shop. And they’ll wave back without getting up. Because you voted for this. And you’re getting what you deserve.

There you go. Enjoy your extreme discretion.

Bill de Blasio is on track to be a one term mayor

The divisive politics of New York City’s leftist mayor Bill de Blasio are hitting home. His support among white voters has fallen to 32% and his relationship with the NYPD is as bad as that of his old boss David Dinkins.

Even as Obama and de Blasio amp up the racist rhetoric over Eric Garner and Michael Brown, the NYPD is sending the message that he can’t attack the police and then use their bodies for photo ops.

Not over their dead bodies.

Cops are warning Mayor de Blasio and Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito to stay away from their funerals should they be killed in the line of duty.

The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association distributed a flier to members, blaring: “DON’T LET THEM INSULT YOUR SACRIFICE!” Cops were encouraged to sign and submit the “Don’t Insult My Sacrifice” waiver to ban the cop-bashing pols from their funerals.

“I, as a New York City police officer, request that Mayor Bill de Blasio and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito refrain from attending my funeral services in the event that I am killed in the line of duty,” the waiver states.

“Due to Mayor de Blasio and Speaker Mark-Viverito’s consistent refusal to show police officers the support and respect they deserve, I believe that their attendance at the funeral of a fallen New York City police officer is an insult to that officer’s memory and sacrifice.”

William Wilhelm Jr aka Bill de Blasio and Melissa Mark-Viverito, a radical terrorist supporter who refused to stand for the national anthem, responded by accusing the police of divisiveness, but it’s not the cops who are being divisive, it’s the crooks in City Hall and on the City Council.

The pro-cop rally should be familiar. It’s part of how Rudy Giuliani went from losing to David Dinkins to beating him. Bill de Blasio is on track to be a one term mayor like his old boss even if his actions don’t lead to a race riot/pogrom. He has reminded New Yorkers of how destructive racist Democratic Party rule is.

One thing whites and blacks do agree on, however, is that the city is on the wrong track:

New York’s Socialist Mayor only clambered into office and he has already poisoned the city, promoted racism and destroyed hope.

William Wilhelm aka Bill de Blasio’s approval ratings are split overall, but only 32% of white residents approve of the disastrous job he’s doing, while 70% of black residents and 60% of Hispanics do.

After the latest racial violence, which included a racist stabbing in a Crown Heights synagogue, 41% of Jews approve, 37% disapprove.

The one thing New Yorkers agree on is the general sense of hopelessness that Bill de Blasio has inflicted on the city.

One thing whites and blacks do agree on, however, is that the city is on the wrong track: 52 percent of New Yorkers agree with that statement, the highest since 2011 and up sharply from 42 percent a year ago.

New Yorkers are also now evenly divided on whether the mayor shares their priorities — a change from April, when 58 percent said the mayor was focused on issues important to them, and 37 percent said he was not.

The one thing you can count on progressives for is despair. The city now feels racially polarized under Bill de Blasio.

Three out of five New Yorkers said the mayor had made little difference in improving police and community relations, and one in five said he had made the dynamic worse.

Nearly half — 48 percent — of respondents said race relations in the city were bad in general, up from 30 percent at the end of Mayor Bloomberg’s tenure.

Asked how much the mayor cares about their problems, 41 percent of blacks answered “a lot”; only 17 percent of whites said the same.

Bill de Blasio has thoroughly alienated white New Yorkers with his racist rhetoric, his embrace of Sharpton and his contempt for their traditions, such as Columbus Day, and their safety by endorsing the racist Garner hatefest.

Finally few New Yorkers of any race or creed said that they had “a lot” of confidence in De Blasio’s ability to deal with a major crisis. At least one that doesn’t involve banning horses.

Mayor William Wilhelm Jr (aka Bill de Blasio) is probably the most dishonest man in politics today. And that’s saying something.

I can’t think of any other politician who got elected largely by exploiting his own family. Or a family as screwed up as Bill de Blasio’s, whose wife was a lesbian and whose daughter was a junkie.

De Blasio/Wilhelm used the Garner verdict to drag out his family again. Particularly his spoiled brat of a son, Dante.

Chirlane and I have had to talk to Dante for years about the dangers that he may face. A good young man, law-abiding young man who would never think to do anything wrong. And yet, because of a history that still hangs over us, the dangers he may face, we’ve had to literally train him—as families have all over this city for decades—in how to take special care in any encounter he has with the police officers who are there to protect him…

So I’ve had to worry over the years. Chirlane’s had to worry. Is Dante safe each night? There are so many families in this city who feel that each and every night. Is my child safe? And not just from some of the painful realities—crime and violence in some of our neighborhoods—but is safe from the very people they want to have faith in as their protectors.

Is there anyone stupid enough to believe this? (Besides Bill de Blasio voters, obviously.)

Dante is currently the most famous teenager in the city who isn’t in entertainment.

Before Dante was even a teenager, Bill de Blasio had slimed his way into being the Public Advocate which made him one of the biggest elected officials in the city.

Dante has always lived in a reality in which his father was a bigshot and whose name alone would open a lot of doors. If you’re an ordinary teen who is stopped by the cops, you stay quiet. If you’re Dante de Blasio, you tell them that my father is the Public Advocate/Mayor and he can have your badge.

Race isn’t the determining factor here. Political connections are. And Dante de Blasio was and is connected. He had nothing to worry about from the NYPD even if he walked into Central Park with a bazooka. Anyone with common sense knows that.

Anyone too stupid to know that, probably voted for Bill de Blasio.

There have been over 1,200 shooting victims in New York City this year. Homelessness increased 13% under Bill de Blasio. But as the city goes down the toilet, Bill de Blasio resumes a war on horses that no one, except the wealthy donor who bought him the mayorality, supports.

A year after running the city into the ground and alienating nearly everyone borough by borough, Bill de Blasio is preparing to push through a ban on Central Park’s traditional carriage horses– a ban that the majority of New Yorkers oppose.

Not only do ordinary people oppose it, but so do unions. Even Bill de Blasio’s own allies in the Working Families Party aka ACORN, oppose it.

“This is awful news to give a working family just before the holidays,” George Miranda, president of Teamsters Joint Council 16, said. “Three hundred carriage drivers—men and women who have devoted their lives to caring for horses—will be unemployed if this bill is passed.”

The Daily News, a liberal tabloid, has been campaigning incessantly against it. So has Liam Neeson. The councilman in charge of industry oversight is against it.

There is literally no one besides the wealthy donor who bought De Blasio his election hoping to build a hotel on the space where the stables are by disguising it as an animal rights campaign, that is in support of the ban. And that donor and his front group are being investigated by the FBI.

Him and a handful of people whose idea of fun is making little girls cry.

Not to mention radical millionaire Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito whose post was also paid for by that same donor.

Maybe instead of pandering to his wealthy backer and going to war against horses, Bill de Blasio should try dealing with some of the city’s real problems.

Three people attending Brooklyn baby shower wounded in hail of bullets

Three people attending a baby shower in Brooklyn were wounded in a hail of bullets on Sunday night, police said.

A man and a woman, both 22, and a 21-year-old man were shot in a fusillade on the street in front of Remsen Hall, which was hosting the celebration, police said.

But then again De Blasio is also against Stop and Frisk which could stop tragedies like this.

Bill de Blasio manufactured a homeless crisis

Shockingly a policy of setting up massive shelters for drug addicts and the mentally ill in stable neighborhoods is proving about as popular as free Ebola. So Bill de Blasio, New York City’s Socialist mayor just isn’t telling them that he’s going to do it.

The sudden opening of a homeless shelter at 58-66 Clay St. is also giving rise to concerns that Greenpoint and other North Brooklyn neighborhoods are saturated with such facilities.

Community Board 1 Chairperson Dealice Fuller fired off a letter to Mayor Bill de Blasio on Nov. 6 demanding that the city close the Clay Street site immediately and hold a public hearing.

When shelters opened in recent months in Astoria and Elmhurst, Queens, and Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, elected officials and residents were taken by surprise.

“I had heard rumors and I was told it wasn’t set in stone,” said City Councilman Chaim Deutsch (D-Brooklyn). “Next thing I know, they’re moving in furniture.

Good luck with that. It’s De Blasio Time. That means no hearings. Just lots of corruption and radicalism.

The city has opened 23 new shelters to combat a 13% rise in homelessness since Mayor de Blasio took office — some of them in neighborhoods whose residents had no idea the facilities were coming to their communities.

Why has there been a massive increase in homelessness in the short time Bill de Blasio has been in office? Good question.

Bill de Blasio in true Obama fashion is blaming Bloomberg, but Bloomberg has nothing to do with this. Either there has been a massive growth of homeless or people who aren’t homeless are being put on the books.

That’s what Queens Crap suggests.

Where Bloomberg offered shelter to roughly 40% of applicants, de Blasio’s team boosted the acceptance rate to 49% or more, hitting a high of nearly 57% in March.

It is impossible to say whether more families will seek shelter and a shot at better housing because de Blasio has opened shelter doors wider. What’s clear is that the new attitude at the intake center has helped boost the shelter population.

Since we didn’t see mothers with children sleeping in the streets during the reign of Bloomberg, they obviously had someplace else to go. So why did DeBlasio decide to accept people who didn’t actually require services? In order to manufacture a crisis so his deep-pocketed friends in the shelter industry could profit.

It’s all a scam, and the ringleader is the mayor. But of course, according to the media, this isn’t the problem. It’s the people opposed to shelters who are the problem, because “mean people suck”.

Team De Blasio is claiming that it doesn’t have time to notify multiple neighborhoods about homeless shelters because it’s an emergency. There’s a limit to how many times you can claim that.

City Councilman Jumaane Williams, whose East Flatbush district just got a newly constructed homeless shelter on Glenwood Road, said his only problem with the facility is its size.

“We don’t want to make people feel unwelcome, but it’s too big, and it’s out of context with the neighborhood,” the Democrat said of the 198-unit shelter, which houses between 700 and 800 people.

Bill de Blasio is back to the old neighborhood wrecking policies of Lindsay and his old boss Dinkins.

Two sets of tax rules for those inside and outside the Democratic Party power structure.

In America and in New York City – much like anywhere else with law and order, there must be boundaries and rules. There can’t be two sets of rules.

Reverend Al Sharpton is a fixture for New Yorkers, and in the last few years, left-leaning cable news viewers have come to rely on his political and social commentary. Love him or hate him, he has been around forever and his brand has matured since the Tawana Brawley days. Particularly in the current de Blasio administration, Sharpton has grown quite powerful; so powerful, that, as the New York Post says, he dictates policy to the police commissioner. He is also very close with President Barack Obama, the United States Commander-in-chief.

Leaving aside Sharpton’s “colorful” history, how is it possible that powerful elected officials in this nation associate with and take advice from a national leader who does not pay his taxes? Politicians avoid shady characters, and taxes are a matter of fact issue (which in fact pays the salaries of these folks.)

As the uber-liberal New York Times reported today, in records they reviewed it was apparent that Sharpton owes, “more than $4.5 million in current state and federal tax liens against him and his for-profit businesses.” While Sharpton’s friends de Blasio and Obama have been in power, his tax bills have grown – and the organization which he runs, the National Action Network, has not paid federal payroll taxes.

Maybe the IRS has been too busy harassing the Tea Party to look at people on their own side of the political fence.

During the 2012 election cycle, billionaire Sheldon Adelson, an outspoken Republican donor, said a second Obama term would bring government “vilification of people that were against him [Obama].” In 2013 his words came true when the IRS admitted that conservative organizations were unfairly targeted and audited during the 2012 election.

Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice said the IRS’s activity was “McCarthyism” – and, in fact, the Obama Administration targets and harasses conservatives while allowing Obama allies to openly cheat the system. During the 2012 election billionaire Frank VanderSloot raised up to $5 million for Romney’s campaign. He was labeled by Obama election propaganda as a “presidential enemy;” and soon after, this American businessman – who had never before had legal issues — was audited by the Labor Department and IRS.

In this tale of two cities – or of two countries, where some of us pay taxes, and some do not — right-wingers have been harassed unfairly by the IRS, while left-wingers who evade taxes are giving counsel and setting policy. Are these American tactics or is Obama learning from Putin?

Do Obama and de Blasio ask Sharpton about taxes when he whispers in their ears? Does anyone in their offices even care that he is in violation of American law?

It is ridiculous that Reverend Al Sharpton has a different set of rules than the rest of America. Reverend Al: Pay your taxes.

Just how lazy is New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio? So lazy that it’s the lead in a New York Times Story.

Since taking office, Mayor Bill de Blasio has made a habit of keeping people waiting. Business leaders have languished in meeting rooms. Reporters have assembled before empty lecterns.

Correction officers at a graduation ceremony, a child at a bill signing — all have grown familiar with the unit of measurement known euphemistically to some as “de Blasio time.”

It’s also known as laziness and arrogance.

I wrote a lot about De Blasio Time, but I didn’t expect it to quite carry that meaning.

Citing a “very rough night” and a star-crossed boat ride from Gracie Mansion, Mr. de Blasio arrived late to a memorial service on the anniversary of a 2001 plane crash in Queens, angering victims’ relatives who observed a planned moment of silence without him.

The mayor had been scheduled to speak at 9:05 a.m. in Rockaway Park, near where American Airlines Flight 587 crashed on Nov. 12, 2001, killing 265 people, including five on the ground.

Robustiano Reyes, 56, whose brother was killed in the crash, called the mayor’s tardiness an act of “disrespect.”

“He showed up late — he didn’t even say, ‘I’m sorry,’ ” said Mr. Reyes, who added that he had voted for Mr. de Blasio. “It was just a shame.”

“Every year Mayor [Michael] Bloomberg is here on time ready to go. He’s here 30 minutes (before) socializing with the family members, giving us all the support,” said Estrella.

Estrella confronted the mayor about his tardiness after the event. She said the mayor told her he was trying but “didn’t really apologize.”

This is a relatively minor incident, but it shows that all the goodwill he had has leaked away. He’s just a terrible mayor constantly pushing left-wing blue sky projects while neglecting people and displaying a bad attitude.

Bloomberg for all his faults did his job. Bill de Blasio is an Obama. He likes playing for the cameras, throwing out big proposals, but not doing the hard work.

“He treated us like garbage,” fumed Miriam Estrella, 21, who lost five family members on the 2001 flight from JFK to the Dominican Republic.

As the tension mounted, Estrella took matters into her own hands.

“I’m sorry everyone,” she announced. “Thank you for coming. Sorry our mayor’s not here, but it is the time that exactly 13 years ago that our family members passed away, and we will toll the bells.”

Family members then observed a moment of silence, which was broken by one relative who jumped from his seat and shouted: “If he’s not here, we have to start without him. This is ridiculous.”

“13 years today w. Out my mother in my life , at the memorial && this f**** Dum*** mayor bill de blasio , is showing up late,” wrote @KianaFaith on Twitter.

Way to win friends and influence voters.

Realest Minority • as a Hispanic i waited all-day to rip BILL a new one then i said to myself hes less important on a day like today a man with the nypd at his disposal runs threw stops signs gets caught speeding is gonna blow smoke up my AS S about why he was late lol in the end i came to my kayne west conclusion Bill de Blasio doesnt care about Hispanic people…..SAD FACT !!

But Red Bill had a good excuse.

“I had a very rough night and woke up sluggish and I should’ve gotten myself moving quicker,” the mayor said at an unrelated press conference.

Seems appropriate. Every petty liberal powermonger dreams of overthrowing a republic and replacing it with a lefty empire.

Forget “Inside Every Liberal is a Totalitarian Screaming to Get Out” and try “Inside Every Liberal is an Overweight Emperor Eager to Squeeze His Gut Into Some Plastic Armor and Play Emperor”.

But considering his lesbian wife’s costume, they may actually be Antony and Cleopatra. And they may just be historically illiterate and sympathetic enough to afro-historical revisionism to think that’s accurate.

But if Bill de Blasio had been Antony, Cleopatra would have gone for the asp on meeting him. And if that were Cleopatra, Antony would have jumped on the first trireme and kept rowing on his own until he ended up in America.

This photo was tweeted by Rachel Noerdlinger, a crony of Sharpton and Bill de Blasio’s lesbian wife at the center of the scandal over her cop-hating ex-con boyfriend whom she lied about. How very Fall of the Empire.

Now New York City just needs an Octavian.

Bill de Blasio is too much of a coward to openly endorse The Death of Klinghoffer.

When Al Sharpton wants to protest something, then its current mayor supporter of the notoriously anti-Semitic Sandinistas is always on call. But when it comes to Jews taking a stand against terrorism and anti-Semitism, Bill de Blasio is a self-righteous no show.

Mayor de Blasio defended the Metropolitan Opera’s right to show “The Death of Klinghoffer,” and criticized predecessor Rudy Giuliani’s protest against the controversial work.

“I really think we have to be very careful in a free society to respect that cultural institutions will portray works of art, put on operas, plays, that there will be art exhibits in museum,” de Blasio said Monday at an unrelated press conference.

“And in a free society we respect that. We don’t have to agree with what’s in the exhibit but we agree with the right of the artist and the cultural institution to put that forward to the public.”

And yet if the Met were saying putting an opera that portrayed black people as apes who deserved to be enslaved, Bill de Blasio would have a thoroughly different view. And he would be right.

Freedom of speech goes both ways. It means that the Met has a right to glorify terrorism and promote anti-Semitism. And it means that New Yorkers have a right to stand up to them.

Bill de Blasio is too much of a coward to openly endorse The Death of Klinghoffer. So he instead mouths some nonsense about respecting the Met’s right to promote the murder of Jews.

This should come as no surprise considering Bill de Blasio’s own anti-Semitic history.

The New York Times describes Bill de Blasio as one of the first eager subscribers to Barricada, the Sandinista paper. This was the Barricada that denounced the “traditional ‘Jew-style’” of the United States Congress for not immediately providing the money to finance an election in Nicaragua.

“They had a youthful energy and idealism mixed with a human ability and practicality that was really inspirational,” Bill de Blasio said of the Sandinistas. That energy included throwing firebombs at a synagogue during Shabbat services while shouting “Death to the Jews,” “Jewish Pigs” and “What Hitler started we will finish.”

Bill de Blasio worked as a political organizer for a left-wing group raising money to aid a regime that had deprived the Jews of their property, their homes and even their house of worship. The president of the synagogue that the Sandinistas had attacked was forced to sweep the streets, a scene reminiscent of Nazi behavior in occupied Europe, before being forced to leave the country with the clothes on his back.

This is the “free society” that he idealizes to this day.

Can you spot the Mayor of New York City?

It may not be making the national news, but Bill de Blasio, the New York City mayor who was supposed to usher in a new and more radical progressive wave, is floundering badly.

Even his allies think that Al Sharpton has too much power at City Hall.

The first article is from the New York Post’s Michael Goodwin.

“Associations with unsavory characters, favoritism, high-handed behavior he condemns in others,” he writes. “This $170,000-a-year aide (and Al Sharpton spy) withholds or distorts info on her ex-con boyfriend and son, and also hides that, like Sharpton, she’s a tax deadbeat.

“She’s cleared by the head of the mayor’s Department of Investigation — who used to be his chief fund-raiser! Add the call to the precinct to get a supporter out of jail, the sweetheart deal for school bus drivers represented by another campaign bundler, and you’ve got a corrupt mayoralty with a lefty flair.”

Oddly enough it’s the Daily News’ Mike Lupica, a usually reliable liberal, who delivers the knockout punch.

The problem for Bill de Blasio, one that only he can solve, is the perception now that when voters elected him, and by a lot over Joe Lhota, they apparently elected the Rev. Al Sharpton and de Blasio’s wife, Chirlane, at the same time…

We know by now about de Blasio’s progressive beliefs, and his ideology. When he was swept into office the way he was, beating Lhota like a rented mule, he clearly thought he had become the leader of a progressive movement that would sweep the city and the state and maybe make him governor someday. Only he was not hired to be the leader of a movement, or an ideologue, certainly not in a place as diverse as this city. He was hired to run the city. Only there are times, in the nine months or so, when he has looked as overmatched as an actual manager as another progressive, President Obama, has.

And, worse, like others are running him…

Who’s really acting more like a chief of staff these days, Rachel Noerdlinger or the mayor of New York? One used to work for Sharpton, one needs to convince New Yorkers he’s not.

This is damning stuff. Former De Blasio supporters are waiting for him to break with Sharpton, but they’re going to have to keep on waiting. Bill de Blasio is another community organizer and unlike Obama, he doesn’t have a competent team around him, which is something that Obama did passingly have early on.

There’s no David Axelrod. No Rahm Emanuel. Bill de Blasio skipped right to Obama Term 2, but managed to make it even worse. He’s unfit for the job and his old charm offensive is wearing thin fast.

Final entry.

The city’s five district attorneys have been desperately trying to get a sit down with Mayor de Blasio for months but hizzoner has blown them off while holding multiple meetings with Al Sharpton, The Post has learned.

Bronx DA Robert Johnson sent an email to the mayor’s office on behalf of the group and urged him to meet with them to discuss issues involving their budgets and public safety, sources said.

“I ask that, at your convenience, you meet with me and my colleagues from Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan and Brooklyn,” reads the email sent from Johnson on March 11. “We feel that we are an important part of the City’s efforts to provide public safety.”

During this time the mayor held a number of meeting for civil rights activist Al Sharpton, including a roundtable discussion concerning police brutality in August.

De Blasio also attended Sharpton’s star-studded 60th birthday party last week where he called Rev. Al “a blessing for this city.”

New policies involve bringing both sides together to discuss an incident.

First Bill de Blasio pushed to bring back junkies and drug dealers into housing projects. (Then liberals whine about the “Poor Door. It’s not the poor door, it’s the Crackhead Fresh from Rikers Island Door.)

Now he’s going to make New York City schools just as violent and dangerous.

When Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg took over the New York City schools, he did much the same, flooding dangerous schools with police personnel and encouraging principals to strictly enforce the discipline code, even for minor infractions.

The school system Mr. Bloomberg handed his successor was safer than the one he took charge of in 2002. His administration used some new programs, along with tools inherited from previous mayors — including metal detectors and uniformed school safety agents — to bring order to schools that many educators described as being chaotic.

At the most troubled buildings, the Bloomberg administration introduced a program targeting “impact schools,” those deemed so unruly they needed closer attention.

Did it work?

The number of crimes, fights and other disruptions in schools plummeted.

So time to undo it now.

The de Blasio administration plans to release a new school discipline code this fall, part of a larger initiative to examine school safety, discipline, suspensions and arrests.

The administration is also looking at a variety of other issues, including how metal detectors are used, though officials would not say whether that meant some schools might no longer have them.

While the de Blasio administration has not revealed its specific changes to the discipline code, it is examining the threshold for suspensions, and is likely to call for increased use of so-called restorative practices, like conflict resolution that involves bringing both sides together to discuss an incident rather than just meting out punishment.

So when Junior tries to stab a teacher, get ready for some serious conflict resolution. It’s like the 70s never ended. But what do actual principals who have to run these schools think?

One principal in the Bronx, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because she was not authorized by the Education Department to speak publicly, said the needs of her school ran counter to the political tone of the day. She said she wanted more school safety agents, not fewer; she said that in some schools, there were high rates of suspensions because they had challenging students who required a strict hand; and she said she would have no interest in parting with her metal detectors.

“I’d love to think we don’t need it,” she said of the screening process, called scanning. “But when you see what they catch in it, they need it.”

That’s okay, with Stop and Frisk gone, school shootings in New York City are about to get a lot easier.
