The Motto of the radical Islamic organization Muslim Brotherhood is: Allah is our objective, The Prophet is our leader, Qur’an is our law, Jihad is our way, Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. In the wake of the president’s speech earlier this week, during which he attempted to sell his intervention in Libya, leftist commentators have seized upon one of his stated justifications and flaunted it as evidence that he really does think America exceptional. However, the exceptionalism they’re talking about has nothing to do with the historical concept.
Rachel Maddow probably puts on more pseudo-intellectual airs than any show on cable news. Her promos proclaim her “geeky” supposed attention to detail and show her researching her specs off to bring the story “nobody else is talking about.” Well, there may be a good reason nobody else bothers.
Media Matters for America: benevolent non-profit organization formed for the express purpose of transcribing Fox News Channel broadcasts for those who don’t have cable, or money-sucking quasi-religious cult?
