Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be appointing a committee of Democrats to investigate what went wrong in this election. Aside from the economy, national security, public health, health insurance costs and well everything else.

The committee will have to avoid concluding that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a political hack so bad at representing her side that she might as well draw an RNC salary, is what’s wrong.

Ditto on Pelosi and Reid who are staying on. And on Obama who’s doubling down on imperial executive orders.

Maybe they can blame the whole thing on a YouTube video. Like this one.

If this video doesn’t cause Islamic Jihadists to bomb something, they must be too busy with Amazon Echo parodies.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) delivered a post-election “autopsy” video message to her fellow Democrats and donors Saturday Morning and it was not very upbeat.

“Our party has a problem,” the Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee said as she laid out the party’s plan for a “top to bottom assessment” of their campaign strategy that delivered historic losses this past Tuesday.

“We know we’re right on the issues,” Wasserman Schultz said. “The American people believe in the causes we’re fighting for. But the electoral success we have when our presidential nominee is able to make the case to the country as a whole, doesn’t translate in other elections.”

“We are going to look at where we fell short,” she promised. “We’re going to identify our mistakes. And we’re going to talk to the smartest people in our party and the most dedicated Democrats in the country to build on what we’ve done that works and find solutions for things that are broken.”

Clearly the American people believe in you. That’s why they voted against you. And the one thing missing from this election, according to Schultz, was more Obama.

Good luck talking to all those smartest people in the Democratic Party. If they exist, I doubt Debbie could understand them.

The funny thing is that there’s no sign of any of these people, Harry Reid, Pelosi, Schultz, leaving. Obama is dismissing talk of a shakeup. Despite the DNC backbiting, there’s no sign of a shakeup there either.

Liberia sent us Ebola. The least we could do is return the favor by sending them Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Democrats and the media have been out in force to broadcast the message that Ebola isn’t a threat and that we don’t need a travel ban on countries where Ebola and Democratic voters come from.

Leading the charge is the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee to explain why you should definitely want to get Ebola in the United States.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston, has expressed confidence in the American health care system to handle cases of the ebola virus that occur in the United States.

“I’m not at all worried, because if there is any place in the entire world that if you have to get a life-threatening illness like ebola, and you want to make sure that it’s not going to spread, it’s the United States of America,” she said.

Or we could just implement a travel ban and skip the Ebola. Of course that would do nothing to protect us from Debbie Wasserman Schultz, but it would be a start.

Debbie also assured everyone that, “we are focused on making sure that protocols are tightened, that we deploy our very advanced and significant health care system”.

ObamaCare to the rescue.

Debbie denied that any travel ban was needed, but urged more protocol tightening, which is apparently code for handing out flyers at airports, and asking them if they have Ebola.

“Going as far as cutting off access to our country and limiting people’s freedom of movement, that’s a drastic stop,” she said.

It sure is. Like the sort of thing you do in response to a very deadly virus.

Should the Democrats be held accountable for alienating white voters?

Hardly a week goes by without some Democratic Party hack putting finger to iPad and swiping out a screed about the Republican Party’s problem with women or minorities.

This week it was Debbie Wasserman Schultz with “The GOP’s Woman Problem.”

Schultz claims that the Republican Party was “rejected again by a bloc of voters that make up more than half of the electorate.” That claim is as real as Schultz’s hair color. The only bloc that rejected Romney was the same bloc that rejected Hillary; the bloc of minority voters who came out in force for Obama.

And unless Hillary Clinton also had a “woman problem” they didn’t do it over gender.

For example in the South Carolina Democratic primary, Obama beat Hillary among women by 54 to 30. That’s a much bigger split than the one between Obama and Romney among women. While Hillary Clinton beat Obama among white voters, Obama won 78 percent of the black vote.

There was no gender gap. There was a racial gap.

Throughout her campaign, Hillary Clinton consistently won the votes of white women in large numbers and lost the votes of women who said that their gender was not important. Obama won the female vote by his largest margins in southern states because he wasn’t really winning by gender, he was benefiting from a large turnout of black women.

Obama won the female vote in Georgia by 32%, but Hillary won 62% of the white female vote. Obama however had won 87% of the black female vote. In Ohio, Hillary and Obama had nearly the same split, but Hillary won the female vote in Ohio by 16% because the racial makeup of the voters was different.

In 2012, Romney won 53% of the white female vote and 3% of the black female vote in Ohio. He didn’t lose women. He lost the same “bloc of voters” that had rejected Hillary, not over gender, but over race.

The Republican Party doesn’t have a “woman problem.” Romney won the votes of white women in every age group; including young women. And Obama lost white women as he did all white voters.

He lost white voters by 59% to 39%. He lost white voters of every age and gender. His loss among white voters was completely unprecedented for any winner of a presidential election.

The GOP doesn’t have a “woman problem”, but the Democrats have a “white woman problem” and a “white man problem.”

The articles about the GOP’s problem with minority voters blame the Republican Party for alienating minority voters. But shouldn’t the Democratic Party be held accountable for alienating white voters?

This is about more than just numbers.

The Democratic Party’s poor performance among white voters is leading it to engage in some very questionable behavior. If Obama and his party weren’t polling so poorly among white voters, it’s doubtful that the Democrats would be nakedly exploiting racial tensions in Ferguson in the hopes of turning out black voters for the midterm elections.

This isn’t a conspiracy theory. It’s a New York Times article which describes how the Democrats are hoping to retain control of the Senate “as they urge black voters to channel their anger by voting Democratic in the midterm elections.”

A race riot at the polls isn’t the political strategy of a legitimate party, but the Democrats are legitimately panicking because they have lost white voters.

Obama’s approval rating among young white voters, a group that came out for him in 2008, was at 28 percent. 58 percent of them would like to recall him from office. His approval ratings among the white working class are so catastrophic that he might as well be Walter Mondale.

So Obama is hitting the Rust Belt even while Democrats running for reelection avoid him like the Ebola virus. His fallback strategy is racism and more racism. Everything from Ferguson to the border crisis was set up to push his minority voting base into voting in the midterm elections.

The migrants crowded into gyms and the burned out stores in Ferguson are both the products of a criminally corrupt and racially divisive election strategy. But no amount of race riots or refugee mobs can save the Democratic Party from dealing with its white voter problem.

Instead of the GOP being ordered to change its policies to appeal to minority voters, maybe it’s time that the Democrats changed their policies to appeal to white voters.

It wouldn’t be that hard.

The Democrats have won white voters before. But then they got lazy and decided that it would be easier to depend on racial voting blocs. The blocs worked for Obama, but they didn’t work out too well for them in Congress. Now the Democrats are making a last ditch effort to hold on to the Senate using an insulting and racist campaign that has already cost both black and white lives.

To win over white voters, the Democrats have to stop freeing drug dealers while banning guns. Instead they have to stop fighting the 2nd Amendment and start arresting drug dealers. They have to stop pushing higher taxes and uncontrolled spending and start rebuilding the economy with jobs and tax cuts. They have to let go of ObamaCare and stop pushing socialized medicine and socialized everything.

White voters have less faith in government. They believe that the country is on the wrong track. They aren’t committed Republicans, but they are deeply skeptical of a deeply racist Democratic Party that no longer speaks to their needs and values.

The Democratic Party’s response to its loss of support among white voters has been to accuse them of racism. In the same New Yorker interview in which Obama claimed that ISIS was a JV team, he blamed racism for his poor approval ratings among white voters. Both claims were delusional and wrong.

White voters did not belatedly become racist. The Democratic Party stopped listening to them and went down a racist rabbit hole trying to defend an administration where Al Sharpton and Eric Holder are dictating a national conversation on race.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is right. One party in 2012 was “rejected again by a bloc of voters that make up more than half of the electorate.”

That party was the Democratic Party.

It’s time to ask whether a party that has lost the support of the majority of the country has any place running the country.

The DNC chair leaves Andrew Tahmooressi behind.

On March 31, 2014, Marine Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi accidentally made a wrong turn from the United States into Mexico. He has been held in prison there ever since. Tahmooressi had been heading to San Diego, California to seek treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD which resulted from his time spent in combat overseas in Afghanistan. He had with him all of his belongings, including three firearms, which triggered the response from Mexican authorities.

Tahmooressi is a recent resident of the South Florida city of Weston; his mother, Jill, still resides there. The congressional representative for Weston is Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Wasserman Schultz is also the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Since Tahmooressi’s arrest, Wasserman Schultz has played a dual game of assisting Tahmooressi, while providing cover for the Mexican government and his captors.

Reports have stated that Wasserman Schultz has been in contact with both the State Department and Vice President Joe Biden regarding the Tahmooressi case. For the head of the Democratic Party and someone who is a phone call away from the President himself, this would seem to be the bare minimum, and it has resulted in no action as Sgt. Tahmooressi continues to languish behind bars in a foreign nation.

On May 28th, Wasserman Schultz took the time to speak with the comedy radio duo, Paul and Young Ron, on Miami, Florida’s Big 105.9. There, she made a few statements that, instead of helping Tahmooressi, made her out to be a shill for the Mexican government and those who have recklessly held him in Mexico for what is now nearly three months.

“The Mexican government has not done anything wrong here, so let’s be clear,” she insistently told the show’s hosts. She then began to speak about how Mexico has laws, which according to Wasserman Schultz, it “appears” he had violated.

Wasserman Schultz has stated that her office is “working diligently with the Mexican Embassy.” She said that she had spoken with the Mexican Ambassador, “who assured me that this is being worked on diligently and that they will do everything they can to expedite the situation.”

When asked if they were treating him well, she replied, “As far as I know, yes they are.”

On May 29th, just one day after the Wasserman Schultz interview, Tahmooressi appeared via phone on Fox News’ On the Record with Greta Van Susteren show. On it, he spoke of the nightmare he went through in Mexico.

He said that his fellow inmates threatened to rape and kill him. He said he was chained to a bed on three separate occasions, including chained standing up, as a form of “punishment.” He told Van Susteren he was punched in the stomach “to the point that I couldn’t breathe.” He said he was struck in his jaw by prison guards so many times his jaw moved out of place.

Wasserman Schultz’s statement that Andrew Tahmooressi was being treated well was either based on complete ignorance of his situation or a way to shield the Mexican government from harm. Considering that she made it a point to say that the Mexican government did nothing wrong – that they should be exempt from criticism – makes one come to the conclusion that it is the latter.

On May 31st, President Barack Obama traded five Taliban commanders for Bowe Bergdahl, an Army troop who had been held captive by the Taliban since June 2009. It was a highly controversial move not only for the violence associated with the terrorist commanders, but for the fact that Bergdahl has been considered by many to be a troop deserter who walked away from his camp.

Sgt. Tahmooressi, on the other hand, has been lauded as a hero for saving at least eight of his fellow troops’ lives in Afghanistan. So while President Obama traded five Taliban leaders for a possible troop deserter, the hero Tahmooressi has been made to suffer behind bars in Mexico with his family’s own government representative doing the least possible to see to his freedom.

Tahmooressi’s mother, Jill, said that never in all his time during four years as a Marine and two tours in Afghanistan was her son treated so badly as he has been in Mexico. But that may only be her opinion, as people like Debbie Wasserman Schultz believe he’s been treated just fine and Mexico did nothing wrong.

Emerge USA is a Florida-based organization whose unstated goal is to give radical Muslims a political voice in America. One way they do this is by getting their leaders placed in key positions of power. Another way is by making friends with those already in power. United States Representative from Florida, Joe Garcia, is one of those friends. He has accepted thousands of dollars from Emerge for his 2014 reelection bid, and he has returned the favor by helping the group raise more money.

Earlier this month, Emerge held its annual fundraising dinner in Miami, at the DoubleTree Hotel and Airport Convention Center. Featured at the event was Sayed Ammar Nakshawani, an Islamic lecturer from England who is a devotee of Iran’s deceased terrorist leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and who has called for the destruction of Israel.

In a speech found on YouTube and the lecture section of his website, titled ‘Sayed Khomeini’s Quds Day,’ Nakshawani states, “The shame in this world is that, if we put ourselves down to a two-state solution, we would allow a country which has broken 60 UN resolutions to have their own freedom of peace. It is barbaric that this Zionist state is allowed to continue.”

Emerge advertised Nakshawani in an event flyer as well as an Emerge-produced video of Nakshawani telling people to attend.

Given Emerge’s past, having this man speak was no surprise. What was a surprise, though, was that a sitting U.S. Congressman, Joe Garcia, would also be speaking at the event, even after the leader of his political party, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, cancelled her keynote address in front of the same group just two years prior.

One of the two co-chairmen of Emerge is South Florida attorney Khurrum Basir Wahid. According to his bio, Wahid specializes in defending “individuals charged with allegedly committing or conspiring to commit acts of terrorism.”

Wahid’s clients include: Rafiq Abdus Sabir, who received a 25 year prison sentence for conspiring to provide material support to al-Qaeda; al-Qaeda member Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, who was given a life sentence for plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush; Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian, who is presently under house arrest in Virginia; and Hafiz Muhammed Sher Ali Khan, a Miami, Florida imam who was convicted of funneling tens of thousands of dollars to the Taliban for the express purpose of murdering American troops.

Prior to helping found Emerge, Wahid was a legal advisor for the national office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and a director of CAIR’s Florida chapter. In 2007 and 2008, CAIR was named by the U.S. Justice Department as a co-conspirator to the financing of millions of dollars to Hamas.

In 2011, Wahid himself was placed on a U.S. government terrorist watch list.

The other co-chairman of Emerge is Afaq J. Durrani. Durrani is the General Secretary of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH), a sizable community organization consisting of 19 area mosques. ISGH is a subsidiary of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which like CAIR, was named by the U.S. government a co-conspirator in the financing of Hamas.

Durrani is heavily involved in the Democratic Party. According to his Emerge bio, he is part of the Texas State Democratic Executive Committee; he is President of the Asian American Democrats of Texas; and in 2012, he served as a National Delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

Durrani’s attachment to the Democratic Party may be a big reason for Emerge’s attraction to having Democrat members of Congress speak at Emerge annual functions. That, of course, does not mean that those Congressmen need to oblige the group. Though, Garcia certainly has.

Ten photos featuring Congressman Garcia at the fundraising banquet are found on the Emerge Facebook page, some showing him speaking at the podium, many with a huge smile on his face. One of the photos is of him playfully grabbing the arm of co-founder and former Emerge President Farooq Mitha.

Mitha, who serves in the Obama Administration as the Special Assistant to the Director of the Department of Defense Office of Small Business Programs (DOD OSBP), has spoken at at least one ISNA conference. As well, in February 2011, he participated in an event sponsored by the Center for American Progress (CAP), a group exposed less than a year later as being a vehicle for anti-Semitic and anti-Israel statements and positions.

It is interesting that Garcia would agree to speak at an Emerge function, as the head of the Democratic Party Debbie Wasserman Schultz canceled her keynote address in front of Emerge just two years earlier, after the group was exposed by this author as an extremist front. Congressman Alcee Hastings also cancelled his participation at the same event.

Last year’s speaker was Democrat Congressman Keith Ellison. Garcia should not look to Ellison as someone to be emulated, though, because Ellison is widely seen as a prominent supporter of radical Muslim groups and an Islamist himself. Ellison’s involvement with organizations such as Emerge is to be expected.

Regardless of the circumstances revolving around past Emerge participants, Garcia had a separate motivation that many involved in politics have been drawn to, that being money.

Garcia’s campaign quarterly finance reports covering July 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013 show that Emerge and its leadership donated thousands of dollars towards his reelection. In December, the Emerge USA Federal PAC donated $1000 to the Garcia campaign. In November, Emerge co-chair Khurrum Wahid gave $750 to Garcia. Wahid also donated $247 worth of food to Garcia, at a November 7th reception for Garcia held at Wahid’s law firm. Host committee members from the event, Khalid Mirza and Ashraf Amdani, each gave $1000.

On November 16, Emerge Secretary Amira Ishoof gave $750. Amira and her husband Saif Ishoof both attended the Garcia Emerge banquet. Saif is a founding director of Emerge. Prior to getting involved with the group, Saif was the rally organizer and contact for the extreme anti-Israel group, March for Justice. The other contact and spokesman of the group was Nidal Sakr, who was arrested this past March after returning to the U.S. from Egypt where he was a rally organizer for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Today, Saif Ishoof is a director for Nur-Ul-Islam Academy, a Muslim children’s school located in Cooper City, Florida whose former Vice President was Raed Musa Awad. Awad was the Florida representative for the Holy Land Foundation (HLF), a Hamas charity that was shut down by the U.S. government in December 2001. Awad was also the imam who oversaw the conversion to Islam by convicted terrorist and “Dirty Bomber,” Jose Padilla.

Joe Garcia’s willingness to accept money from an organization such as Emerge is troubling to say the least, and his enthusiasm and eagerness to speak in front of the group is evidence that his acceptance of the money was no mistake. Garcia’s interaction with Emerge could very well be his political undoing.

Between her support for new sanctions on Iran and opposition to new sanctions on Iran, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a little frazzled these days.

Like a sitcom plot about a character who has two dates on the same night, Debbie is dating Obama’s Iran appeasement policies and her Jewish constituents at the same time and so she has to rush from restaurant to restaurant, telling increasingly crazy lies to each of her dates.

Or she just has her spokeswoman do it for her.

Is Debbie Wasserman Schultz against new sanctions on Iran? Absolutely.

Her spokeswoman, Mara Sloan, told The Daily Beast that Wasserman Schultz does support holding off on new sanctions until the diplomacy plays out.

That was back on January 11. A whole lifetime ago. On January 10, however, Debbie Wasserman Schultz was for new sanctions on Iran.

Mara Sloan said: “Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been a strong supporter of sanctions against Iran and will continue to be. She has cosponsored and voted for the additional sanctions bill that has already passed the house. Currently, there is not a resolution on sanctions offered in the House. As soon as one is filed, she will review the language, as she does with any legislation and decide whether it helps to ensure that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.”

Which is a complicated way of saying that she can’t be accused of voting against sanctions that haven’t come to the floor yet. But that’s not what Debbie is being accused of. She’s being accused of working to stop the resolution before it ever gets filed. And should this hypothetical resolution exist, despite her best efforts, she will decide whether to support it or not.

Which version of Debbie do you believe? The one from Jan 11 who expressed opposition to new sanctions, rather than the one from Jan 10 who spent more time weaseling than most actual weasels.

It’s no wonder then that the Emergency Committee for Israel is running an ad blasting Double Dealing Debbie.

One senior legislative assistance in the congresswoman’s D.C. office even denied that such a resolution existed, according to Stephen Fiske, chair of the Florida Congressional Committee PAC, a nonpartisan, pro-Israel political action committee.

“I pushed and said, hypothetically, if the House were to come up with the identical wording as stated in Senate’s bill—The Nuclear Weapons Free Iran Act of 2013—will Debbie sign on?” Fiske recalled.

The staffer responded by saying “she will not answer,” Fiske said.

So that’s a firm, uh. Exactly what you expect from J Street’s house congresswoman.

There was a reason why J Street’s house congresswoman was picked to head up the Dems. The left hasn’t had as much luck in the Senate, but it’s elevating Anti-Israel congressmen wherever it can.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is closely affiliated with an Anti-Israel and Pro-Iran group funded by George Soros, a Nazi collaborator who described the Holocaust as the most exciting and happiest time in his life.

Unfortunately Debbie Wasserman Schultz‘s voters have yet to get the message that she is Anti-Israel and Anti-Jewish and exists only to serve the interests and agendas of the left. And those of their Islamist allies in Iran.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.) has become a major obstacle to a new bipartisan Iran sanctions measure, according to multiple sources on Capitol Hill and in Florida.

Wasserman Schultz has broken with leading pro-Israel Democrats like New York Senator Chuck Schumer and New Jersey Senators Robert Menendez and Cory Booker, privately urging her fellow Democrats to follow the White House’s lead by opposing a bipartisan House resolution backing new sanctions on Iran, according to multiple congressional sources close to the debate.

The Iran resolution fell apart in the final days of 2013 after House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (Md.) withdrew his support for it following a last minute lobbying campaign helmed by Wasserman Schultz, who sources identified as the “key Democrat” leading the anti-sanctions charge.

Wasserman Schultz’s backroom bid to kill the sanctions measure has angered some Democrats on Capitol Hill and in her hometown of South Florida.

“Debbie has been busy at home telling her constituents she is doing all she can to stop Iran, but in reality it appears she is busy behind the scenes working to scuttle bipartisan action to put increased sanctions pressure on Iran,” said one Democrat on Capitol Hill who is closely tracking the Iran debate.

“Every minute she is publicly silent, or working against bipartisan efforts to pressure Iran, is a minute she is siding with the Mullahs over the American people who overwhelmingly want mounting pressure,” said the source, who asked for anonymity.

“She’s being very careful not to say anything publicly while working hard behind the scenes to jam up the legislation,” said a D.C. Jewish community insider involved in the political debate over sanctions.

Like most prominent leftists in Jewish life, Wasserman Schultz is a coward and a backstabber who doesn’t dare tell many of her older Jewish constituents what she really stands for.

That should have been obvious last year when this scene happened.

In an interview with Jewish Life Television (JLTV), Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz failed to provide a single reason for Jewish voters to support President Barack Obama other than abortion, which she cast as somehow intrinsic to the values of the Jewish community.

This is typical of leftist activists who will cite abortion or gay rights as a Jewish cause because their only real cause is the left.

Every time you think these people have hit some kind of bottom, they dig down even deeper.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz was known as the Girl From J Street for her ties to the left-wing Anti-Israel group that has become very influential in the halls of Obama Inc.

Back in early 2009, Wasserman Schultz hosted an event on Capitol Hill for J Street, who were then receiving harsh criticism even from many Democrats for issuing a statement accusing Israel of ‘collective punishment’ in Gaza and equating Israel’s self -defense with Hamas terrorist attacks.

Even the very liberal Rabbi Eric Yoffie, the president of the Union for Reform Judaism and an early J Street supporter broke with J-Street after that, calling them ‘profoundly out of touch.

That apparently didn’t faze Wasserman Schultz in the least. She later served as the featured speaker for J Street’s first annual gala event in Washington, DC, an event most of her fellow Democrats refused to attend.

In May 2011, when President Obama came out with his disastrous plan to push Israel back to her pre-1967 lines, which Prime Minister Netanyahu rejected as “indefensible,” Wasserman Schultz didn’t hesitate to throw her weight at the initiative. The headline from the Miami Herald read, ‘Debbie Wasserman Schultz backs President Obama’s remarks on Israel.’ The article stated, “The new chair of the national Democratic party — and prominent Jewish lawmaker — is out with remarks praising President Obama’s call for Israel’s pre-1967 borders…”

In October 2011, just five months after the borders flap, Wasserman Schultz told an audience of mostly Jewish seniors that there are parts of Israel that are “not important” – quote “not important.”

So now, the anti-Israel Debbie Wasserman Schultz invokes the Holocaust in support of anti-Semitic Muslim terrorists in Syria.

For me as a mother, to see that searing image of babies lined up, murdered by their own government, innocent children. I mean, as a Jew, Wolf, I have to tell you, as a member of Congress who represents one of the largest Holocaust survivor populations in the country, to me, the concept of never again, has to mean something. And the United States, morally, cannot turn the other cheek.

Meanwhile her boss, with her support, has pressured Israel into releasing the murderers of innocent children.

Israel is supposed to turn the other cheek and the United States, under Obama is supposed to force it to do that. But the Syrian Jihadists who are fighting to exterminate the Christians and the Alawites of Syria… and then plan to start on Israel, we can’t turn the other cheek on their behalf.

Because if there’s anything the Holocaust teaches us… it’s how important it is to collaborate with the Nazis.

On January 22nd, U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz was reelected as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). A big reason for progressives to want Wasserman Schultz back as leader of the party is that she represents two large American voting blocks, women and Jews, blocks that the Democratic Party relies on to win elections and blocks that President Barack Obama relied on to be reelected, himself.

However, while the congresswoman represents these two groups, that does not necessarily mean she represents their best interests. Case in point: Wasserman Schultz’s lack of support for the Jewish state of Israel.

Wasserman Schultz is recognized as being an advocate for Israel. Upon visiting her congressional website, you will notice that the first two photos which pop up are her with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and her laying a wreath at Israel’s Holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem. And though these things appear as if Wasserman Schultz is a staunch supporter of the Jewish state, the reality is that they are a convenient cover for her anti-Israel activity.

In May 2009, Wasserman Schultz co-hosted an event for J Street, a left wing group linked to financier George Soros that promotes on its website a moral equivalence between Israel’s fighting in Gaza and Hamas suicide bombers. Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz told the Jerusalem Post that he believes “J Street has done more damage to Israel than any [other] American organization.” At the J Street event, Wasserman Schultz praised the group, saying that “J Street has worthy goals.” In October 2009, Wasserman Schultz was a featured speaker at J Street’s first major conference, even after a dozen other members of congress dropped out.

In February 2011, after Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was imprisoned by Islamists, Wasserman Schultz ignored Mubarak’s role as Israel’s peace partner and took the side of his violent jailers. She stated, “For the past two weeks the world has heard a truly momentous grassroots call for democracy from the streets and squares of Egypt. Today, with the resignation of President Mubarak, the voices of the people of Egypt were finally heeded.” As a result of this tragedy, Egypt is now led by Israel’s enemy, the Muslim Brotherhood, and new President Muhammad Morsi, who not long ago referred to Jews as “the descendants of apes and pigs.”

To say that she supported indefensible borders for Israel only to back the position of her boss, Barack Obama, would not be entirely accurate. In October 2011, just five months after the borders flap, Wasserman Schultz told an audience of mostly Jewish seniors that there are parts of Israel that are “not important” – quote “not important.” It took place at Wynmoor Village, located in Coconut Creek, Florida.

In September 2012, at the DNC Convention, Wasserman Schultz, the DNC leader, allowed the Democratic Party platform to be voted on without mention of Jerusalem as being Israel’s capital. Following criticism from the GOP – or as the Associated Press put it, “Embarrassed by Republicans” – the DNC amended the platform the next day to include the word “God” and Jerusalem (amidst boos from the crowd). When confronted about it by a reporter, Wasserman Schultz claimed that the platform was changed because President Obama wanted it changed. She said it was “directly the result of his personal view” – evidently not hers.

In January 2013, President Obama nominated former U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel to become Secretary of Defense. His nomination was seen as highly controversial, as Hagel’s past statements and voting habits made him appear as though he was anti-Israel and a defender of Israel’s enemies. Hagel complained about the existence of a “Jewish lobby,” a derogatory and conspiratorial term that suggests an unwarranted Jewish influence/intimidation in American politics. After he spoke to and apologized to Wasserman Schultz, she endorsed Hagel, saying that much of the concern “could be chalked up to misunderstandings over his true positions.” Both the apology and the acceptance of it smacked of political expediency.

All of the above paints a damning picture of U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz. It suggests that any notion of the congresswoman as being pro-Israel is a notion built on false perception and a lack of knowledge of her offending behavior. The image that Wasserman Schultz has created for the public is completely a facade. While she is indeed Jewish, her actions show a lack of care for the greater Jewish community in Israel.

Joe Kaufman is a candidate for United States Congress. He is an expert in the fields of counter-terrorism, foreign affairs and energy independence for America.

Two months ago Obama made a bet with the devil. “I bet that I can make a convention night where all the high profile speakers, including the chair of my own party, are absolutely shameless liars.” Bad news. The devil lost the bet.

The keynote speaker was Bill Clinton, who is known for two things. One of them is becoming the first president to be impeached in the court of public opinion after blatantly lying to the public on camera.

Before him there was Elizabeth Warren, known for two things, “You didn’t build that” and lying about being a Cherokee. Then there was Sandra Fluke, famous for two things, being called a slut by Rush Limbaugh and lying about birth control.

All three high profile speakers who got the most publicity for Night 2 of the convention were known and confirmed liars who got into trouble for being lying liars. It’s hard to think of three worse people to convince a nation of the credibility of the Democratic Party. Worse still their lying skills vary wildly. Bill Clinton is a top notch liar, but Elizabeth Warren is a bad liar. Sandra Fluke is closer to the Warren side of the lying spectrum.

Then there was Debbie Wasserman-Schultz whose profile photo has just been added to the Woodhouse English Dictionary under the phrase, “Bad Liar” making further definitions unnecessary.

That’s not counting Richard Trumka, who was charged with more serious things than just lying.

Trumka’s closet skeletons extend to corruption, specifically, a pair of money-laundering schemes, among a half-dozen totaling $885,000 that helped re-elect Teamsters General President Ron Carey in 1996 over his close rival, James P. Hoffa. That election eventually was invalidated, paving the way for Hoffa’s current presidency. The Teamsters had been under federal oversight since 1989, the result of an out-of-court settlement of the Justice Department’s civil RICO suit against the scandal-ridden union. In his report disqualifying Carey from office, the union’s special election officer, Kenneth Conboy, concluded that Trumka had laundered $150,000 from the union through the AFL-CIO to a political advocacy group, Citizen Action, which in turn routed $100,000 of the money to the Carey campaign. Conboy also concluded Trumka had participated in another illegal arrangement in which he either contributed or solicited $50,000 in order to bankroll the Carey campaign.

But Emmanuel Cleaver, another speaker in Night 2, makes Trumka look like the petty crook that he is. Forget 885,000 and think 48 billion.

Cleaver has listed a new earmark — one of several — and he promises to “fight for every one.” But this is a whopping $48 billion package that must go down as the grandaddy of all earmarks. Proposed by a gentleman named Lamar Mickens, president of the not-for-profit Quality Day Campus, the $48 billion earmark would funnel money into the inner cities to give money to the poor and thereby produce a much larger consumer class to buy the goods and services produced in this country.

Quality Day Campus was a day care center run by Mickens out of his own home. Wait maybe I should have called this, “Night of a 1000 Crooks” instead.

Remember when the left began claiming that it was part of the Reality-Based Community? A place where people didn’t just make crazy things up and keep repeating them– unless it was about Bush?

Watch these two videos and mourn for a progressive left that has tragically lost the ability to lie properly.

There was once a time when the left was good at lying. It told lies at the drop of a hat. Like the time Clinton shook his finger at the country and said he did not have sex with that woman. Now pinch hitting for Bill is a frazzled woman from Florida who has forgotten that tape recorders and the internet exist.

I’m sure that Debbie Wasserman Schultz excels at shaking donors down for money, except with donations down, it doesn’t look like she’s any good at that either. She projects the confident bearing and calm authority of a molerat on anxiety medication. And she holds the weight of the party’s future in her shaking hands.

If I were a Democrat, I would be running for the exits. It’s one thing when your Chair is a liar. That’s expected. It’s another thing when they’re a bad liar.

Why the politics of the Jewish Left are driving its adherents into extinction.

A month ago, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz sat down with the host of a Jewish television channel and could not name any reason for Jews to vote for Obama except for his support for abortion. Which is to say that the favorite muppet of the Democratic Party could not think of any reason to support B.O. except a mutual commitment that fewer Jews be born.

It is a little-known fact that Margaret Sanger, that pioneer of eugenic solutions to “racial, political, and social problems,” began by targeting Jews, opening her first center in Brownsville, Brooklyn, complete with Yiddish and Italian flyers, aiming for the two immigrant groups whose high reproduction rates were considered a social problem.

Abortion as a liberal Jewish value has been a stunning success. In New York City, where Sanger first set up shop, 74 percent of all Jewish children are members of the traditionalist Orthodox religious group. Liberal Jews are already panicking over the prospect of a future Jewish population in New York City that is staunchly conservative and religious.

A recent survey of New York City Jews also shows a nearly even split between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. 46 percent of New York Jews are planning to vote against Obama, and a majority of New York City Jews think that Romney would be better at fixing the economy than B.O. But it is only to be expected that the group for whom abortion isn’t a Jewish value would come to outnumber the group for whom abortion is a Jewish value.

The problem with values is that you have to live with their consequences. When your values dictate that terrorists deserve all the protections of the civilian justice system, then you have to be ready to live with the explosions. If your values dictate minimal population growth, then you have to accept the consequences of extinction. Values that are contrary to survival carry their own natural cost. And when your values are at odds with your interests, then your values might as well be an open window, a loaded revolver or a dose of strychnine.

Liberal Jews like to talk about Jewish values rather than Jewish interests, because their values are incompatible with Jewish interests — even as a matter of simple survival. The usual liberal grab bag of values that are represented by the Jewish hand puppets of liberalism, like Wasserman-Schultz, aren’t just alien, they threaten the basic survival of the Jewish People.

When asked to justify what interests the Democratic Party and American Jews have in common, the Jewish liberal dives into a copy of the New York Times and comes up with illegal immigration, abortion, gay rights and support for peace in the Middle East.

That list of liberal Jewish values not only fails to align with a single Jewish interest, but each of them threatens Jewish interests… that is if survival is to be considered a Jewish interest.

Peace in the Middle East means aborting Israel, dissecting it into small pieces and repeating the process until there is no country left. It’s another case of liberal Jews trying to do to Israel what they have already done to themselves. To believe that pressuring Israel into making a non-stop roll of concessions to Muslim terrorists is a Jewish value is to believe that suicide is a Jewish value.

Illegal immigration, a cause that virtually every major Jewish organization has signed on to, means the mass migration of Mexicans to the United States. The ADL’s own survey shows that nearly half of foreign-born Latinos rate as strongly anti-Semitic, over three times the rate of white Americans. (Bad news for the glorious civil rights alliance; the ADL’s strongly anti-Semitic ratings are 12 percent for white Americans, 35 percent for African-Americans and 44 percent for foreign-born Latinos.) The only way to make sense of this is that liberal Jewish groups believe that increasing anti-Semitism in America is actually a Jewish value.

But liberals of all creeds need more Mexican illegal aliens and immigrants from all across the Third World to compensate for the good work of Sanger. Liberal Christians fear the reproduction rates of Conservative Christians as liberal Jews fear the reproduction rates of Orthodox Jews. The only way out of the demographic race is to import “ringers” who will have the children that they won’t. The new eugenics is political eugenics. Birth control is no longer for the people that Sanger considered the “unfit”; they’re valued now for their reproductive rates which help the “fit” stay in power.

Growing anti-Semitism is a small price to pay for the liberal values of having people like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz sitting in Congress instead of selling tie-dyed t-shirts and hand-painted seashell bongs in a flea market. And like all the wages of liberalism, the price for it isn’t paid by the people on top, but by those at the bottom: Those Jews living next to the 44 percent in New York City or on farms in the West Bank within firing range of their Palestinian Muslim peace partners. The Jews whom Sanger and Schultz consider “unfit.”

The senator's unhinged politics at their worst.

The Obama administration and Democrats are desperate to turn the national conversation away from the economy. Nothing both reflects and personifies that desperation better than the scurrilous attack on Mitt Romney by Senate Majority leader Harry Reid (D-NV). Without producing a shred of evidence, Reid has made the claim that the presumptive Republican presidential candidate hasn’t paid any taxes for 10 years.

Reid’s ostensible source(s) for the claim have varied. On July 31st, Reid told the Huffington Post that a “Bain Capital investor” had called him to reveal the information. Yet even as he made the accusation, he hedged. “He didn’t pay taxes for 10 years! Now, do I know that that’s true? Well, I’m not certain,” said Reid. “But obviously he can’t release those tax returns. How would it look?” Reid reiterated his assertion with a bit of class warfare thrown in. “You guys have said his wealth is $250 million. Not a chance in the world. It’s a lot more than that. I mean, you do pretty well if you don’t pay taxes for 10 years when you’re making millions and millions of dollars,” he added, further noting that Romney’s deceased father “must be so embarrassed about his son.”

A day later, Reid’s story changed. “I am not basing this on some figment of my imagination,” Reid said in a telephone call with Nevada reporters. “I have had a number of people tell me that.” When Reid was asked to elaborate on his sources he declined. “No, that’s the best you’re going to get from me…I don’t think the burden should be on me,” Reid said. “The burden should be on him. He’s the one I’ve alleged has not paid any taxes. Why didn’t he release his tax returns?”

One could ask Harry Reid and most of Congress the same question. As reported by McClatchy newspapers both Democratic leaders of the Senate and the House of Representatives, namely, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) respectively, “are among hundreds of senators and representatives from both parties who refused to release their tax records.”

On August 2nd, Reid upped the ante again, repeating his accusation on the floor of the Senate. “So, the word’s out that he hasn’t paid any taxes for 10 years. Let him prove that he has paid taxes, because he hasn’t,” Reid contended.

Note the despicable tactic to which Harry Reid has resorted. He makes an unsubstantiated allegation–one that could be made about virtually anything–and then claims the burden is on Romney to prove that the allegation is untrue. This is the stuff of banana republics and totalitarian regimes, but the Senate Majority Leader does it anyway, knowing that his media allies are more than willing to keep the story alive, and that other Democrats will rally to his side.

Some of the highest ranking Democrats, in fact, have indeed risen to the occasion. On Sunday, both Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Republican National Committee Chairman (RNC) Reince Priebus took to the airwaves and called Reid a liar and a “dirty liar,” respectively. House Minority Leader Pelosi fired back: “Harry Reid made a statement that is true. Somebody told him. It is a fact,” Pelosi told the Huffington Post in an interview. “Whether he did or not can easily be disposed of: Mitt Romney can release his tax returns and show whether he paid taxes,” she added. What could be even more easily disposed of is Nancy Pelosi’s proof that Reid is telling the truth. But asking Pelosi that seemingly obvious question was apparently a bridge too far for the leftist Huffington Post.

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, (D-FL) who appeared on “This Week” also believes the burden is on Romney to disprove Reid’s allegations. “I do know that Mitt Romney could clear this up in ten seconds by releasing the 23 years of tax returns that he gave to John McCain when he was being vetted for vice president. Or even 12 years of tax returns that his own father said were what was appropriate. Because one year of tax returns, like he’s released, could just be for show,” she said–even as she added that she does not know who Reid’s source is either.

Former Counselor to the Treasury Secretary under President Obama Steven Rattner played the game as well. “I don’t think [the accusation] was appropriate,” he said. “But you still come back to the question, why won’t he release his tax returns? If he’s paid all the taxes he says he’s paid, he says he’s paid a lot of taxes every year, why not just release them and move on? And end this discussion.”

This tactic is about anything and everything except ending the discussion. It is about beating up Mitt Romney as a tax cheat if he doesn’t release his taxes, or more than likely beating him up as an out-of-touch elitist who makes far too much money if he does.

As for Reid, making venomous, unhinged statements is par for the course. He called Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas “an embarrassment to the Supreme Court” in 2004, referred to president George W. Bush as “a loser” during a speech at Del Sol High School in 2005, and claimed that former Republican Senate Majority leader Bill Frist had “no institutional integrity” in the same year. And on April 12, 2007, Reid revealed where his true concerns lay regarding the war in Iraq. “We’re going to pick up Senate seats as a result of this war. Senator Schumer has shown me numbers that are compelling and astounding,” he gushed at a press conference.

Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., once said: “George (W.) Bush is our ‘Bull’ Connor — and if that doesn’t get to you, nothing will be able to get to you. It’s time for us to be able to say that we’re sick and tired, we’re fired up and we’re not going to take it anymore.”

Connor was a racist sheriff who sicced dogs and water hoses on civil rights workers in the ’60s. Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., says Republicans “want to literally drag us all the way back to Jim Crow laws.”

The tactic is as obvious as it is insulting. Tell black voters that “they” are out to “get them” — and pull that lever for us Democrats so we can resist their racist attempt to undermine your success.

Never mind that this kind of anger wrapped in paranoia — assuming that others are out to get you — is precisely the formula to undermine your own success.

Accomplished entrepreneurs say one of the keys to success is the assumption and the confidence that you can influence the outcome.

Anger is an opponent of success.

The movie “Red Tails” is a fictionalized film of the Tuskegee airmen, the brave black fighter pilots of World War II. They overcame racism and fought for their country in a segregated military that considered them unequal.

In one scene, a Tuskegee pilot goes into an officers’ club in Italy. He is taunted and told “whites only.” He starts a fight and ends up in a military jail, possibly facing court-martial.

His commanding officer, played by Terrence Howard, confronts the aviator whose anger threatened the mission: “What am I going to do with you? Everything’s a fight, isn’t it? It must be so goddamned exhausting being you. You know something … ? You’re a punk. You remind me of one of those kids from a comic strip. Walking around, pushing your sleeve up one arm, hand balled in a tight fist. Walking and looking at the world through a squint, always looking to knock something down just because it’s standing.

“It’s right there,” says the CO, pointing his finger to the temple of his officer’s head. “It’s right there. You really want to knock something down? Try using that. Because I will tell you straight, I don’t have anything against you. I have the highest expectations for you. Lieutenant … I need everyone on this next mission, and you’re lucky you’re the best damn pilot we’ve got.

Report to your unit.”

Party condemns the Jewish State; blames Israel for creating instability in the world.

Apparently the North Carolina Democratic Party hasn’t gotten the endlessly repeated “memo” regarding the Obama administration’s “unwavering support” for the state of Israel. During last weekend’s party convention, a resolution that would criticize Israel for its “illegal occupation of Palestine” was seriously considered before being tabled. Not killed — tabled. It has been referred to the state’s executive committee for further consideration at a later date.

Resolution number 26, titled “Bring a Just Peace to the Middle East: Israel and Palestine,” is a screed of leftist-inspired grievances, attacking the United States for providing Israel with “$3 billion annually in military aid.” According to North Carolina Democrats, such funds pay for “the Israeli occupation, disenfranchisement and impoverishment of significant numbers of the Palestinian population,” and the facilitation of “Israel’s overwhelming military might and its role as the only nuclear power.” That military might ostensibly threatens the “stability in a region witnessing increased demands for democracy and an end to autocratic rule.” The funding is also used by Israel to “continue … demolition of Palestinian homes, expansion of existing illegal settlements built on expropriated Palestinian land, and a continued blockade of essential goods from Gaza, causing a U.N. documented humanitarian crisis.”

Furthermore, U.S. aid “has caused increased violence and insecurity to Israelis and Palestinians and helps subvert any prospect for peace,” while “Israel’s human rights violations and its illegal settlements violate International and U.S. law, including the U.S. Arms Export Control Act of 1976,” all of which contributes to the “escalating tension between Israel, the Palestinians and the Arab world in the Middle East.” Such Israeli-instigated tension “threatens the peace and stability of the region and the world.”

Thus, the NC Democratic Party expects to hold its elected officials accountable “for helping end our government’s role in continuing the Israeli Palestinian tragedy by making the human rights of both peoples central to U.S. foreign policy by ending Israel’s illegal occupation, by advocating for a viable Palestinian state, and membership of that state in the United Nations.”

North Carolina Democrats then urged their congressional representatives to support several initiatives (emphasis added): “Bring all parties, including Hamas, to the table to negotiate and end to the Israeli Occupation and a secure peace based on the 1967 borders; An immediate end to settlement expansion and removal of existing settlement in the West Bank and Jerusalem; An end to Palestinian house demolitions; A halt to further construction of the wall; An end to the Gaza blockade; The establishment of the nuclear free zone in the Middle East; Redirecting U.S. Military aid to Israel to promote social and economic development for peace in both Israel and Palestine.”

Regrettably, this pernicious nonsense has remained under the mainstream media radar up to this point. Likely that is no accident. North Carolina is a battleground state in the upcoming election, and despite the fact that Mr. Obama carried it in 2008, it is currently up for grabs in 2012, with Mitt Romney holding a statistically insignificant lead of 48-46 percent.

Furthermore, the Democrat Party is holding their national convention in Charlotte, meaning the media will be there in overwhelming numbers. If the North Caroline Democrats’ anti-Semitic leanings (and there is no other way to interpret that idea that Hamas, a U.S.-designated terror group whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel and genocide of Jews, should be part of any “peace” negotiations) were to become part of the national conversation, the ramifications would extend far beyond the borders of that state. American Jews on the electoral fence in places like Florida and Pennsylvania might begin to understand that there are factions within the Democrat Party who are pro-Palestinian at best, and utterly anti-Israel at worst.

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz disinvited to speak at Miami's Temple Israel.

In the 2012 presidential election, Florida is one of a handful of “battleground states” that will more than likely determine the outcome. One of the key voting blocs in Florida are Jewish Americans. High among the concerns of many is the state of U.S.-Israel relations. Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was scheduled to speak about that topic last Friday at Miami’s Temple Israel. Long-time temple member Stanley G. Tate objected to the inappropriate mixing politics with religion. When Temple president Ben Kuehne insisted in having Wasserman Schultz appear, Mr. Tate, a prominent Republican, asked for equal time to rebut Ms. Wasserman Schultz. Kuehne refused. When the dust settled Wasserman Schultz’s appearance was cancelled, and Mr. Tate resigned his six-decade membership at the temple.

Both Tate and Kuehne are politically involved. Kuehne is a high-profile Democrat retained by Al Gore during the 2000 Florida recount who has contributed campaign donations to Florida Democrats. Tate is a high-profile Republican, founding member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and is currently working for Mitt Romney’s election campaign in Miami-Dade county. Both men are attorneys. Like Kuehne, Tate has also been president of the temple.

According to Mr. Tate, Ms. Wasserman Schultz’s invitation to speak from the bema or the pulpit immediately following Shabbat put the the temple’s 501(c)(3) tax exempt status in jeopardy, because it violated the prohibition of partisan political activities within the temple. Mr Kuehne contends that Ms. Wasserman Schultz is an elected official and that her “presentation,” not her “speech,” would have been given under the auspices of the temple’s Social Justice Forum where a series of programs has included a number of speakers on a variety of topics.

“The temple is a non-partisan, non-political organization,” said Kuehne. “It promotes Jewish religious and cultural values. Politics surround all of what we do in American society. And politics tend to be very potentially divisive of late. But throughout 90 years, Temple Israel has tried to steer clear of politics by getting involved in social justice programming that we believe is independent of and more compelling than political issues.” Kuehne also maintained that the temple “is always making an attempt to utilize a variety of spokespersons on the issues of the day…and we hope to continue that tradition,” adding that “generally the programs are independent of the party registration of any of our speakers.”

Tate wasn’t buying it. “She’s the chairperson of the Democratic National Committee,” he said. “The topic is the U.S.-Israel relationship. There cannot be any conversation on that topic, none, unless it has to do with the politics.” Kuehne’s rebuttal? He conceded that Ms.Wasserman Schultz’s speech might be considered political, but insisted it would not be partisan. He was asked if he was given a copy of Ms. Wasserman Schultz’s speech in advance in order to determine if that were the case. He said no, but that he expected the congresswoman to “comport herself in a non-partisan manner.”

Ms. Wasserman Schultz reacted predictably: “I believe strongly that in a democracy people should be able to hear from and interact with their elected officials, which is why I gladly accepted Temple Israel’s invitation to speak as I have previously to many organizations and religious institutions throughout South Florida,” she said. “It is unfortunate that some would allow politics to stand in the way of citizens’ ability to interact with their representative.” However, Temple Israel is not within the boundaries of her Florida congressional district, and it thus raises questions about the political nature of her talk, especially with respect to her prestigious position as head of the DNC and Obama surrogate.

DNC staffer gaffe reveals how mainstream anti-Semitism has become in the party.

There’s a thin line between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism. That’s true of Muslims and the left, but it’s also true specifically of the Jewish left, whose hatred for Israel manifests itself in a general contempt for Jewish religion, culture and tradition.

Take the “Jewbags” case of Danielle Gilbert, a staffer for Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz who had been appointed the DNC’s Jewish outreach liaison. In a social media mishap, Gilbert posed along with her friends in a photo that she captioned “JEWBAGS” and that a friend of hers captioned as “Jew cash money team.” This is the sort of incident that the hip crowd that thinks “Heeb” is a great name for a magazine and “Jewcan Sam” is hilarious will laugh off. But it’s hardly the most offensive thing about Gilbert from a Jewish perspective. It’s just a symptom of the problem.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has long been associated with J-Street, the anti-Israel group which has repeatedly worked to undermine Israel’s fight against terrorism. When a delegation from J-Street arrived at Schultz’s office last year, they were received by Danielle Gilbert who posed with them for a photo. That wasn’t the limit of Gilbert’s involvement with J-Street.

Danielle Gilbert’s twitter feed suggests that she attended the J-Street conference and she retweeted a call from the anti-Israel group to freeze “settlements.” Gilbert’s own anti-Israel background isn’t casual. She attended the London School of Economics and Political Science and while there was part of the Association for the Study of Ethnicity and Nationalism.

Gilbert had volunteered at Givat Haviva, a leftist group dedicated to pro-terrorist activism. Givat Haviva had a presence at the J-Street conference and has its roots in Kibbutz Artzi, which was far enough to the left that it identified closely with the Soviet Union and its leader eulogized Soviet mass murdering dictator, Joseph Stalin. The roots of Givat Haviva lie with Artzi’s Arab Department whose goal was a one-state solution.

Ilan Pappe founded and ran the Academic Institute for Peace in Givat Haviva. Pappe is a former member of Hadash, the Arab-Israeli Communist party, who supports the destruction of Israel via a One State Solution. An article on the Givat Haviva website features a photo of Danielle Gilbert with one of her friends, who writes about his own support for the One State Solution.

Through Givat Haviva, Gilbert conducted interviews with the residents of the Muslim Bartaa village which straddles the Green Line and has become a cause celebre for the anti-Israel left. Since then she has been a Jeremiah Fellow at Jews United for Justice, another left-wing group, which also participated in the J-Street conference, and whose board members intersect with a number of anti-Israel groups.

In 2008, Gilbert wrote, “We cannot see Mumbai’s events as anything less than the gruesome epitome of systematic terror. However, such a tragedy rightly makes us question our unequal treatment of minority cultures within larger communities,” shifting easily to calling the brutal murder of the Holtzberg family and countless Indians by Muslims a “tragedy” that serves to call attention to Muslim suffering.

For Jews there is far more to be offended by in that than in Gilbert’s use of a Jewish slur. There is also far more to be offended by in the fact that the DNC chose to elevate a woman aligned with J-Street and that she then elevated someone like Danielle Gilbert to conduct outreach to the people they no doubt fondly think of as the “Jewbags.”

Debbie Wasserman Schultz caught in lie about involvement in radical Muslim fundraiser.

The day after an investigative piece we had written exposing the fact that Congresswoman and DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was going to give the Keynote Address at an upcoming radical Muslim fundraiser, Wasserman Schultz cancelled her speech. Her office claimed that she had never agreed to do the event in the first place, but a newly released statement from the Islamist group’s leader proves that that was not true.

According to announcements which were placed on the website of EMERGE USA last month, Debbie Wasserman Schultz had been scheduled to give the Keynote Address at the group’s annual fundraising banquet, which was to be held in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale North, on April 21st.

This, as was pointed out in our article, ‘Debbie Wasserman Schultz Empowers a Radical Muslim Fundraiser,’ was troubling, because, while EMERGE USA’s name sounds innocuous if not entirely patriotic, the group’s leadership consists of persons who spread bigotry against non-Muslims and who actively support terror-related individuals and organizations who target America and Israel.

The co-founder and spokesman of EMERGE, Khurrum Wahid, has given legal support to what would seem to be a who’s who of accused terrorists in America, including a man who threatened to assassinate President George W. Bush and two South Florida imams who were charged with sending at least $50,000 to the Taliban to murder American troops overseas. As well, Wahid is a former representative of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). In 2011, he landed on a U.S. government terrorist watch list.

The Executive Director of EMERGE, Nauman Sabit Abbasi, is the President of Public Relations for the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF), a radical mosque whose youth leader recently wrote on the internet, “[Y]es, Allah (SWT) has Decreed that we will over-take the World in numbers…”

The Field Coordinator of EMERGE, Laila Abdelaziz, belligerently asked President Barack Obama at a Tampa, Florida town hall meeting to condemn Israel for what she erroneously claimed were “human rights violations against the occupied Palestinian people.”

The co-founder and former Executive Director of EMERGE, Farooq Mitha, has spoken at events sponsored by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), an organization that has been named by the U.S. Justice Department as a party to the financing of Hamas, and the Center for American progress (CAP), an Obama-linked group that has been widely condemned for its propagation of anti-Semitism.

Why is the congresswoman helping to raise money for a group that wishes to destroy America?

A radical Muslim group with ties to the Obama Administration will be featuring the head of the Democratic National Committee, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, as the keynote speaker for its annual fundraising banquet this coming April. By agreeing to partake in the event, Wasserman Schultz is helping to further this organization’s nefarious agenda of placing Islamists into positions of American power and influence. It is this stealth jihad which threatens our country not from abroad, but from within.

EMERGE USA was founded as a non-profit corporation in the state of Florida, in November 2006, under its original name, Center for Voter Advocacy (CVA). In 2009, CVA merged with a Texas entity founded by current EMERGE board member and project manager of Shell Oil in Houston, Afaq J. Durrani, called the Coalition of New American Communities (CONAC). Apart from EMERGE, CVA still exists as a separate Florida corporation.

According to the organization’s mission statement, “EMERGE [Empowering Motivating Educating Resourceful Grassroots Entities] aims to politically empower and train its constituents to be effective community organizers and work in coalitions to advance beneficial policies and legislation that help protect and enforce the rights afforded by the United States Constitution.”

The mission, as does their name, sounds like a patriotic one attached to a noble cause. However, the extremism exhibited by the leaders of the group paints an entirely different picture – one of an organization with a sinister motive to place radicals within key circles of political power.

On Saturday, April 21st, the head of the Democratic Party, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, will be addressing EMERGE. The theme of the event is “Investing in Tomorrow’s Leaders Today” and will include entertainment and a halal dinner. The previous year, former Florida Governor and U.S. Senator Bob Graham spoke in front of the group.

Wasserman Schultz likes to flaunt her Jewish identity and (false) pro-Israel persona, but how can she begin to do so, when the organization she will be addressing maintains staff who display animosity towards the Jewish state?

Laila Abdelaziz, the Field Coordinator of EMERGE, denounced Israel in a question she posed to President Obama, during a January 2010 town hall meeting he held in Tampa, Florida. “[W]hy have we not condemned Israel and Egypt’s human rights violations against the occupied Palestinian people, and yet we continue supporting them financially with billions of dollars from our tax dollars?” she belligerently asked.

Before coming to EMERGE, Abdelaziz was the Project Coordinator for United Voices of America (UVA), a group founded and headed by Ahmed Bedier. Bedier, who had previously been involved with the Hamas-related Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), was embroiled in controversy when he helped facilitate an October 2010 fundraiser for U.S. Senator Bill Nelson. According to Nelson, whom Abdelaziz was once a staffer for, when he learned about past anti-Israel statements Bedier had made, he returned a $500 campaign contribution that Bedier gave to him.

On the announcement showing Wasserman Schultz as EMERGE USA’s keynote speaker, the RSVP contact for the event is listed as one Rasheed Shihada. On Shihada’s Facebook site, apart from containing a long rant he authored against Christians, he displays on his homepage a video put out this month calling for support of Israeli prisoner Khader Adnan, who according to Israel is a “senior member” of the terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).

This is only the tip of the iceberg with regard to extremism at EMERGE.

The Chairman and main face behind EMERGE is Khurrum Wahid, a practicing South Florida attorney. According to the Florida Bar, Wahid “has defended individuals charged with allegedly committing or conspiring to commit acts of terrorism…”

Some of Wahid’s clients include: Rafiq Abdus Sabir, who received a 25 year prison sentence for conspiring to provide material support to al-Qaeda; Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, who was given a life sentence for being a member of al-Qaeda and for plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush; and Hafiz Muhammed Sher Ali Khan, who is awaiting trial for conspiring with others to funnel at least fifty thousand dollars to the Pakistani Taliban for the purpose of murdering American troops overseas.

Wahid, as well, created a legal fund for Tashnuba Hayder, a girl who had been identified by the FBI as a potential suicide bomber and who was later deported to Bangladesh, as she was considered an imminent threat to the security of the United States. Currently, Wahid is soliciting funds on his law office’s website for the defense of his client Hafiz Khan (above) and his son Izhar Khan, whom Wahid calls a “rising star.”
