The immense funding campaign behind the anti-Israel organization.

During these sensitive times, as the world is a kinder-box due to Muslim extremists, Jewish extremists must also be rejected. As Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor recently said in United Nations speech, “Most people believe that at its core, the conflict is a battle between Jews and Arabs or Israelis and Palestinians. They are wrong. The battle that we are witnessing is a battle between those who sanctify life and those who celebrate death.” The Ambassador is right – which means organizations like the New Israel Fund (NIF) which empower terrorists must be shunned. The New Israel Fund supports groups that hurt the Jewish State.

An NIF grantee, the Executive Director of the Human Rights Defenders Fund (HRDF), received $332,625 from 2011-2013 in grants from the New Israel Fund and recently called Israel “racist,” and “murderous,” and described the country as a “temporary Jewish apartheid state.” She actively promotes the Palestinian ‘right of return.’ Other NIF grantees demand boycotts of the State of Israel, and contribute to gross Anti-Semitism by funding campaigns for Breaking the Silence who tour college campuses to accuse Israel of war crimes. These organizations are outside the consensus. As The Algemeiner Journal reported New Israel Fund is “a controversial foundation that supports dozens of Israel related causes, many of which are considered hostile to the Jewish State.”

Thankfully today it was revealed that Birthright and Young Judea will no longer work with New Israel Fund. New Israel Fund is associated with funding boycotts of Israel and programs to support the Israel Defense Forces, hence the Jewish community is rejecting these extremists. As Algemeiner added, “NIF actively supports organizations like Machsom Watch, which harass Israeli soldiers while on duty at checkpoints, Breaking The Silence which dispatches former Israeli soldiers on international tours accusing the IDF of human rights violations and war crimes, and +972 magazine, which offers a ready stream of anti-Israel articles and opinions pieces. During the recent Gaza war, New Israel Fund dispatched emergency grants to fund anti-Israel protests in Israel.”

NIF donors support extremists’ viewpoints with barely any support amongst the democratic electorate of Israel. While one constantly hears about donors on the right, why is the left given a pass when they help fund anti-democratic behavior?

Irwin Jacobs, a co-founder of Qualcomm is a major donor to The New Israel Fund, as is his fellow San Diegoan, The Leichtag Foundation. While The Fohs Foundation claims that their position is “not to look back, not to criticize Israel or place blame, but rather to promote opportunity going forward,”, yet by supporting the New Israel Fund, they stand with calling Israeli soldiers war crimes. That is out of bounds – and responsible donors must reject these extremists.

From the Edith and Henry Everett Foundation who fund The Jewish Book Council, Joint Distribution Committee, American Friends of Israel Sci-Tech Schools and others, one fails to comprehend why they would want to be associated with the New Israel Fund, which Professor Gerald Steinberg recently described as an organization that “..claim to support Israel and human rights principles, they enable the highly destructive activities that do the opposite. By the time these funders acknowledge this failure and end their support, the damage will be done.”

From the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Fund to The Irving Harris Foundation, Arnold Hiatt to many others, The New Israel Fund annual report is a study in those who seek to fund campaigns which support boycotts of Israel, supporting Anti-Semitism on campus, and prosecuting Israeli war crimes. The supporters of these causes are all visible in the New Israel Fund annual report.

The New Israel Fund has decreased in funding from $37 Million in 2010 to $27 Million in 2013. This dangerous extremist organization neglects the reality on the ground and the will of the people. America’s closest Middle East ally, Israel, faces a grave enemy of terrorists and despots, and supporting organizations which undermine the Israel Defense Forces and encourage boycotts of Israel are simply dangerous.

A former employee has described Zynga’s motto as “Do evil.”

There’s something appropriate about the worst American leader inviting the worst CEO in America. And it doesn’t that evil ex-Zynga CEO Mark Pincus gave Obama’s SuperPAC a cool million dollars.

Where he got that money? That’s another question. You probably know Zynga for Farmville or any of its other legion of Facebook games. What you don’t know is how they all got that way.

A former employee has described Zynga’s motto as “Do evil.”

In a speech, Pincus said, “I did every horrible thing in the book to, just to get revenues right away. I mean we gave our users poker chips if they downloaded this Zwinky toolbar which was like, I don’t know, I downloaded it once and couldn’t get rid of it.” *laughs*

A former Zynga employee has quoted Mark Pincus, its CEO, as saying, I don’t f____ want innovation. You’re not smarter than your competitor. Just copy what they do and do it until you get their numbers.”

So why did Obama invite Mr. Farmville to his big tech meet? Why does Obama do anything? For the same reason that Zynga does things. Money.

While Zynga does have a popular product, as some have noted, Pincus kind of sticks out on the list. One thing that sets him apart: He donated $1 million to Priorities USA Action, the super PAC that backed Obama in the election. He also gave an additional $104,000 to Democratic causes in 2012 — including the maximum of $30,800 to the Democratic National Committee.

He also got to sit next to Obama. And Pincus wasn’t the only lesser-known guy in the room who happens to be a big Obama fundraising name: Venture capitalist Shervin Pishevar also attended the conclave. Pishevar’s best-known investment is the upscale car service, Uber. Along with his wife, Anahita, Pishevar has donated more than $122,000 to Democrats, including Obama’s presidential campaign and the campaign of Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.). More significantly, Pishevar is a bundler — one of the elite fundraisers who “bundled” campaign contributions for Obama’s presidential campaign.

And what else is Mark Pincus have in common with Barack Obama? They’re not just bad people… they’re also both miserable failures.

On Monday, Zynga announced that its cofounder will relinquish his position as CEO, bringing an end to the oversight of the company’s dismal first 18 months in the public markets. In that period, Zynga has fired workers and been sued by competitors and investors as its shares have lost more than 65% of their value.

Sounds like the perfect guy to be Obama’s V.P.

Where will donations to the terrorist-affiliated ICNA Relief organization really end up?

The clean-up effort is still underway in the northeast, where Hurricane Sandy unleashed its imprint of death and destruction. A number of highly-rated charitable organizations have sent out relief workers to the area to help with things like food, clothing, shelter and medical treatment. Yet another group, ICNA Relief, is in town claiming to assist in the effort and asking for donations. Their donations have reached terror-related groups in the past, so their motives concerning Sandy need to be questioned.

ICNA Relief is a function of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). The organization has two separate headquarters, one based in the United States and one based in Canada, respectively ICNA Relief USA and ICNA Relief Canada.

From June 2006 through June 2007, the al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF), a Pakistani charity run by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), listed both the US and Canadian ICNA Relief groups as its top two donors. JI is the South Asian division of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB).

During that time period, in August 2006, AKF hand delivered six million rupees, the equivalent of 99 thousand U.S. dollars, to the Damascus, Syria residence of the global head of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal. Today, Mashaal is located in Qatar. Mashaal thanked the members of the delegation and assured them that Hamas would continue to “wage jihad” against Israelis.

The money ICNA Relief gave to AKF was not a random act. ICNA was founded in the early 1970’s as an American arm of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and still retains close relations with its parent organization. Indeed, the ICNA Relief name and logo is currently found at the bottom of the homepage of AKF’s official website (“Our Global Partners”).

Now, ICNA Relief is asking for donations on its website in the name of the victims of Hurricane Sandy, stating, “Help Hurricane Sandy Survivors. Donate Now.”

To do this, they’ve enlisted the help of Siraj Wahhaj. Wahhaj is infamously known for having been named an “unindicted co-conspirator” for a federal trial dealing with the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Wahhaj had been linked to the bomb maker of the attack, Clement Rodney Hampton-El, and during the trial, he was a character witness for the spiritual leader of the bombing, “the Blind Sheikh” Omar Abdel Rahman, whom Wahhaj has openly praised.

This harkens back to a time when the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) asked people, via its website, to donate money to the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), a charity that was shut down by the United States government in December 2001 for raising millions of dollars for Hamas.

On the homepage of CAIR’s official site, the group provided a link to the donate page of HLF and disguised it by making it seem as though people who clicked on the link would be donating money to those affected by the September 11, 2001 attacks. The link stated, “Donate to NY/DC Emergency Relief Fund.”

And just as ICNA Relief has a tangible association with Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan, CAIR has a tangible association with Hamas in Gaza. The group was founded by Hamas operatives as a part of the umbrella organization established by then-global head of Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzook. Today, Marzook is second in command of Hamas, behind Khaled Mashaal.

Several Americans have been brutally murdered by Hamas, including five U.S. citizens who perished during the Hebrew University cafeteria bombing of July 2002. Furthermore, the compound that Osama bin Laden was living in (and killed in) was owned by Hizbul-Mujahideen, the militant wing of Jamaat-e-Islami.

It is sinister that groups associated with terrorist activity would be asking for donations in the name of victims of tragedies, such as the 9/11 attacks or Hurricane Sandy, both of which have left tremendous scars that will forever be felt by Americans, especially those living in the New York Metropolitan area.

On the Hurricane Sandy donate page of ICNA Relief’s website, one finds the word “Preference” prior to a dropdown containing the words “Disaster Relief Sandy.” Question: What if that preference is not met? What if the funds don’t go to help the victims of Sandy?

Those who donate their money to ICNA Relief should think about the possibility that their donation could wind up elsewhere, including towards something they abhor.

An old problem comes back to haunt Team Obama.

A new report from the Government Accountability Institute concludes that an alarming number of federal campaigns have made themselves vulnerable to illegal campaign contributions from foreigners. The campaigns of both presidential candidates were cited, with the campaign of President Obama given an especially large amount of scrutiny.

Highlights of the report include: that less than half of all congressional campaigns take the basic measures to protect against fraud; about forty percent of all traffic to President Obama’s official campaign website comes from foreign computers; lack of transparency on small donations makes it easy for foreigners to donate smaller amounts without being tracked; and that numerous foreign websites link to donation pages of various candidates.

“The Government Accountability Institute (GAI or ‘the Institute’) conducted an extensive eight month investigation into the potential for foreign and fraudulent online campaign donations to influence House, Senate, and presidential elections. The findings are alarming,” read the report.

Foreign donations are strictly illegal, and any campaign knowingly accepting foreign funds could be cited not only by the Federal Election Commission but charged in the criminal justice system. Still, the report concluded that outdated laws (which fail to address the use of social media and Internet) along with most campaigns’ unwillingness to self-police have led to vulnerabilities.

Often, the report concluded, campaigns failed to take even the basic measures to protect against contributions from foreign investors. One easy method is to require a Card Verification Value (CVV) with any credit card donation. The CVV is the three (or occasionally four) digit number found on the back of credit cards. By requiring a CVV, a campaign could ensure that the individual donating is in possession of the card. The report found that of the 535 US legislators, only 47.2% of this year’s congressional pages require a CVV with a credit card donation.

The report also cited a lack of required reporting of donations under $200 as another area of vulnerability. For individual donations between $50-200, disclosure is only required in the event of an FEC audit, which, according to the report, almost never happens. For donations below $50, no reporting is required at all.

Allegations of foreign donations are nothing new for the Obama campaign, which has been well aware of its fundraising negligence in this regard for years. One case cited from the 2008 campaign was that of Mary T. Biskup, an individual from Missouri who made donations of over $174,000 in 2008, according to records from the FEC. Ms. Biskup was interviewed and claimed to have never made any donations to the Obama campaign, nor was her credit card used. The episode raises the specter that foreigners or others trying to make illegal campaign donations — of considerable sums — may have used her name to make donations.

In addition, the name “Doodad Pro” was on at least 791 individual donations to the Obama campaign in 2008 for a total of $19,065. One address given for this identity was of a small liquor store whose proprietors had no knowledge of the donations. A slew of other nonsense names also made large contributions with phony personal information given. These revelations produced a media uproar early on in Obama’s presidency, and were never satisfactorily addressed. With virtually no improvements to the system since 2008, what certainty do we have that illicit funding is not happening again this campaign season?

Part of the problem, as the GAI report pointed out, is that the Obama campaign doesn’t require a CVV in order to make a donation. A CVV is required before making a donation to Mitt Romney’s campaign. The report also found that a startling 43% of all visitors to mybarackobama.com (the campaign’s official website) came from foreign computers. The study found that 11% of visitors to Mitt Romney’s website were foreigners.

The report concludes that between the large amounts of foreign traffic, along with not requiring CVVs, the Obama campaign is significantly vulnerable to illegal foreign donations.

“Though there is nothing inherently wrong with the President’s international attention, his donation pages’ lack of CVV means that this interest creates significant vulnerabilities for the integrity of the campaign’s donation process,” read the report.

A number of foreign bloggers have suggested that foreign donations to Obama are common place, the report cited.

“I have in practice given money to Obama, I had done it,” said an unidentified Norwegian blogger in the report.

A Dutch blogger named Dirk echoed similar thoughts. “I imagine many non-Americans have money transferred to the Obama campaign. It’s just too easy.”

The report also cited the case of Obama.com. Not owned by the Obama campaign itself, the website was owned for years by Robert Roche, an American expatriate living in Shanghai. Roche has been living in the Far East for more than two decades, but has also contributed regularly to Democratic candidates since he’s gone abroad.

The website Obama.com provides a direct link to the donation page on the official campaign website for the Obama campaign, and about 80% of all traffic to Obama.com comes from outside the US.

Probably not coincidentally, Roche has enjoyed great access to the White House. White House logs list nineteen visits by Roche since 2009. Roche was afforded a seat at President Obama’s head table during a 2011 State Dinner with Chinese President Hu Jintao.

The report recommended requiring CVVs for credit card donations. It also suggested the use of geo-location on all campaign websites. Geo-location software would identify a foreign Internet Protocol (a computer using the internet from a foreign country), and anyone with such an IP would then be required to prove they are a citizen. The report also recommended that rules for reporting donations less than $200 be increased to provide more transparency.

The one asset the president is desperately exploiting.

Last week, President Obama hit rock bottom with his re-election campaign. Recognizing that having created a slag heap of failed polices, he now has one asset—residual personal popularity– his re-election team decided to move into exploitation mode.

First, they sent an email from Michelle, Barack’s wife, explaining:

For the first 10 years of our marriage, Barack and I lived in an apartment in my hometown of Chicago.

The winters there can be pretty harsh, but no matter how snowy or icy it got, Barack would head out into the cold — shovel in hand — to dig my car out before I went to work.

In all our years of marriage, he’s always looked out for me. Now, I see that same commitment every day to you and to this country.

Give him money because he once shoveled snow? Ridiculous. We’re supposed to believe that Obama has looked out for us the same way he looked out for his wife? Come on! We are supposed to be his boss, not a spouse. If we order him to shovel political snow, he’s supposed to do it – not as a favor, or out of love, but because that’s the role of the Chief Executive, who is the servant of the American voter.

As if that weren’t enough, the Obama campaign website decided on Friday to open up an Obama Event Registry. Here’s how they pitched it:

Got a birthday, anniversary, or wedding coming up?

Let your friends know how important this election is to you—register with Obama 2012, and ask for a donation in lieu of a gift. It’s a great way to support the President on your big day. Plus, it’s a gift that we can all appreciate—and goes a lot further than a gravy bowl.

Setting up and sharing your registry page is easy—so get started today.

That honeymoon you wanted to take with your spouse? Forget about it, you selfish pig. Give the greatest gift of all: a donation to a failing president who will bankrupt your future children.
