Hillary’s latest book was a disaster that lost millions. And even Hillary’s face on a magazine drives readers away.

According to a report from AdWeek on Monday, the June 16 issue of People featuring the former first lady and senator was the magazine’s worst selling of 2014 with 503,890 copies sold.

It has not been a good year for Hillary Clinton and print media. Her book, “Hard Choices,” also failed to sell as many copies as initial estimates assumed it would.

So much for Hillary’s incredible appeal. She can’t move magazines or books. What can she does except receive six figures for delivering bland speeches to trade groups?

remember this guy?

The only question is why stop there? Can’t we just appointed a politician, whose only qualification for every job she has gotten in the last two decades has been her last name, Supreme Overlord of the Universe?

Mike McCurry, Bill Clinton’s press secretary and a guy you happily forgot even existed until now, returns with a proposal so insane that even Obama might shake his head.

What if a vacancy now appeared on our nation’s highest court? Given the bitterness and polarization that exists in Washington today, it is hard to imagine any nominee offered by Barack Obama having a less than tumultuous path to confirmation.

With one exception: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Yes if there’s anyone Republicans can get behind in these polarized times, it’s Ms. Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. But what Republican would be opposed to either

1. Knocking Hillary out of the race

2. Making Obama waste a Supreme Court appointment

Hillary Clinton would bring to the U.S. Supreme Court a keen intellectual perspective, a robust appetite for the legal give and take that makes good fodder for judicial decisions, and a personality that would fit well in the current court and help build consensus and respect for constitutional law — a subject she knows very well going all the way back through two impeachment discussions involving U.S. presidents.

Wait… Mike McCurry is arguing that Hillary Clinton would make a good Supreme Court justice because her husband was impeached?

Hey you know who would make a great police chief? Charles Manson.

If you loved six years of the Most Transparent Administration Ever threatening journalists, bugging them and trying to lock them up, just wait till you get a load of Hillary Clinton’s commitment to transparency.

The State Department has failed to turn over government documents covering Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state that The Associated Press and others requested under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act ahead of her presumptive presidential campaign. They include one request AP made four years ago and others pending for more than one year.

The agency already has missed deadlines it set for itself to turn over the material.

The State Department denied the AP’s requests, and rejected the AP’s subsequent appeals, to release the records sought quickly under a provision in the law reserved for journalists requesting federal records about especially newsworthy topics.

The AP requested copies of Clinton’s full schedules and calendars from her four years as secretary of state; her department’s decision to grant a special position for longtime aide Huma Abedin; Clinton’s and the agency’s roles in the Osama bin Laden raid and National Security Agency surveillance practices; and her role overseeing a major Defense Department contractor. The AP made most of its requests last summer, although one was filed in March 2010.

I can see why they wouldn’t want to turn over those records. Considering that they expect Hillary to be their boss soon, they’re still taking orders from her.

Three key statements that should automatically disqualify Clinton from being president.

Once again Hillary Clinton has given the Republicans some suicidal soundbites they should stash away for 2016 in the likely event she is the Democratic candidate for president. A review of some of her recent statements reveals that Clinton is not just entitled, money-grubbing, unlikeable, unpleasant, and unaccomplished. Nor do they just show that she is a political dunce who has obviously learned nothing from her politically brilliant husband. More seriously, they expose her commitment to failed ideas and dangerous delusions.

First there was the “What difference at this point does it make!” she practically shrieked to Senator Ron Johnson during a January 2013 hearing on the Benghazi debacle that unfolded on September 11, 2012. Clinton had told the grieving parents of the victims during the transfer of remains ceremony at Andrews Air Force base that they died because of “an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with.” Four Americans, including an ambassador, had been murdered on her watch, but she refused to explain to the Senate why she blamed the hapless maker of a YouTube video, who spent a year in jail.

This evasion is significant, for within hours of the attack it was clear that it had been a carefully coordinated, well-planned assault, not the spontaneous reaction to a video. Soon it also became known that ambassador Stevens had repeatedly requested increased security, but had been denied by officials in the State and Defense Departments. As Secretary of State, Clinton was ultimately responsible for those decisions made by State, as well as for the astonishing failure to notice the escalating violence in the months before the attacks, or the significance of the anniversary of 9/11, or the immediate evidence that the attack was not a spontaneous reaction to a video that had been on YouTube for weeks.

But in her response to all this evidence of negligence and post facto political spin, all she could do was indignantly declare that all these failures were irrelevant. In 2016, this footage of the arm-waving, shrill Clinton transparently trying to misdirect the Senators and the citizens from her patent incompetence should be played and replayed in political ads.

Next came the more recent revelation of her embarrassing economic ignorance, shameless pandering to her left-wing base. At a campaign event in October, attended also by lefty heartthrob Elizabeth Warren, Clinton lectured, “Don’t let anybody, don’t let anybody tell you that, ah, you know, it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs. You know that old theory, trickle-down economics. That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”

Somehow Clinton missed the 1980s, when economic and tax policies that encouraged business investment led to spectacular growth. As the Laffer Center explains,

“According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, 1982-1999 was one continuous mega-economic expansion. In fact, as it stretched into 2007, this 25 Year Boom saw a tripling in the net wealth of U.S. households and businesses from $20 trillion in 1981 to $60 trillion by 2007. When adjusted for inflation, more wealth was created in this 25-year boom than in the previous 200 years. This sustained economic growth is not only impressive on its own, but even more astonishing as it compares to the period immediately preceding it. In the 10 years from 1972-1982, recessions were deep and recoveries were short. In fact, throughout American history, the nation’s economy has been in recession or depression roughly one-third of the time. But from 1981-2005, the annual growth rate of real gross domestic product (GDP) in the U.S. was 3.4 percent per year, and 3.8 percent per year during the 1983-1989 Reagan expansion alone.”

Compare that to the performance of Obama’s economic policies over the last 6 years, when intrusive regulatory regimes like Dodd-Frank and a runaway EPA, Obamacare’s highjacking of the health-care industry, the trillion-dollar stimulus squandered on crony socialist projects like “green energy,” and the anti-business rhetoric of Obama’s “you didn’t build that,” have all led to sluggish economic growth, metastasizing debt, declining income for the middle class, an explosion in entitlement spending, and nearly 20 million unemployed and under-employed.

Contrary to Clinton’s Keynesian superstitions and dirigiste magical thinking, what has “failed spectacularly” has been progressive economic policies that think parasitic politicians and unaccountable government bureaucrats can manage a complex, dynamic economic system better than a free market that incentivizes people to actually build businesses that create jobs and increase wealth. And just as spectacularly incompetent is Hillary’s political tin ear that lets her make such a statement just to curry favor with a narrow base of anti-capitalist fundamentalists, when she surely must know that come the 2016 presidential election, those words will be pinned to the Obama albatross sure to be hanging around her neck.

Finally, there is the bizarre statement at Georgetown last week about improving our foreign policy with what she called “smart power”: “Using every possible tool and partner to advance peace and security. Leaving no one on the sidelines. Showing respect even for one’s enemies. Trying to understand, in so far as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view. Helping to define the problems, determine the solutions.” She then added a banal cliché of modern feminism, suggesting that the lack of women negotiators and signatories was responsible for the failure of many peace treaties. After all, women are naturally more empathetic and sensitive to others’ “point of view,” one of those Victorian stereotypes that feminists used to tell us were sexist insults.

These comments embody everything that is wrong with a modern foreign policy based on Kantian delusions about a global “harmony of interests,” the notion that all peoples are just like us and want all the same goods such as peace, prosperity, political freedom, and respect for human rights. If they behave differently, it’s because they just don’t know these goods are in their best interests, or they have been traumatized by history, particularly the depredations of Western colonialism, imperialism, and capitalist exploitation, which are the causes of their violent aggression and brutality. Thus if we “understand” and “empathize” with the roots of our enemies’ behavior, they will see the light and abandon aggression and tyranny.

This is the same delusion that Obama based his foreign policy on, as evidenced by his infamous “apology tour,” on which he donned the hair shirt of Western sin and groveled before foreign audiences. It’s the application to foreign affairs of the two-bit psychologizing that dominates the public schools, where boosting self-esteem and “empathizing” with punks and bullies are the favored mechanisms for teaching and civilizing young people. It utterly lacks any understanding of the tragic constants of human nature and the wisdom accumulated by the human race since the ancient Greeks and Hebrews––that, as Machiavelli said, “all men are bad and that they will use their malignity of mind every time they have the opportunity.”

For all her alleged foreign policy toughness, Clinton’s philosophy embodies the bad utopian ideals that have enabled much of the disorder afflicting the world since their spectacular failure in preventing World War I. We hear the same delusions in the words of Neville Chamberlain after Hitler’s Anschluss of Austria in March 1938, when he told the House of Commons, “We should take any and every opportunity to try to remove any genuine and legitimate grievance that may exist,” and then imagined telling Hitler, “The best thing you can do is to tell us exactly what you want for your Sudeten Deutsch.” Such blind “empathy” and “understanding” and “respect” for Germany’s “grievances,” of course, in 6 months culminated in the debacle of Munich and the devastating sequel of World War II.

Contrary to Clinton and Obama, enemies like Vladimir Putin, ISIS, Bashar al Assad, Hamas, Hezbollah, Boko Haram, the Ayatollah Khamenei, and Xi Jinping are not the global village’s wayward teenagers “acting out” because they don’t know their own best interests and suffer from insufficient self-esteem and “respect.” They are hard, brutal men, vicious and ruthless, who know exactly what they want, and who possess beliefs alien to Western ideals like liberal democracy, human rights, tolerance, and a preference for diplomatic words and “mutual understanding and respect.” In their “perspective” and “point of view,” violence is a tool of international relations, and a legitimate instrument for achieving their aims and interests. And they have nothing but contempt for our schoolmarmish empathy and respect, which they correctly interpret as civilizational weakness and a failure of morale. All they respect is force. That’s the most important truth we need to “understand.”

These 3 statements reveal political beliefs and character flaws that should automatically disqualify Hillary Clinton from being president. And even if we attribute them to rank ambition and venal opportunism rather than sincere belief, their sheer political stupidity and lack of prudence bespeak a mind and character unfit for leading the most powerful country on the planet.

Considering that there isn’t even an actual campaign yet, how did Ready for Hillary manage to blow through $11 million? Hillary’s trips are subsidized by whoever is covering her speaking tour or campaign stop. Or by her non-profit Clinton Foundation.

Ready for Hillary consists of a website, some shoddy merchandise and a really bad country song. How does that cost $11 million?

The group has raised more than $11 million since its 2013 founding, picking up hundreds of big-name Democratic donors, the New York Times reported.

By Thanksgiving, the group was in debt. According to the group’s FEC disclosures, the group had $875,626 in the bank but also owed a $1 million loan that was intended to expand the organization’s grassroots operations for Clinton–including its ill-advised country song ad.

“This investment, used to fund our massive post-midterms direct mail program, will pay dividends from now until Hillary announces her decision” on whether to run for president again, said Seth Bringman, a spokesman for the group.

So they blew through $11 million on direct mail despite there being no campaign yet and no serious opposition? It’s already in debt which really says something about Hillary’s financial management skills.

I’ve never heard of a candidate blowing through this much cash this long before an actual election. But the Clintons always set new lows when it comes to money management.

You can just imagine what Hillary would do to the national debt.

Americans who couldn’t get enough of six years of appeasement and pandering to our enemies can get eight more years of the same in 2016.

All they have to do is vote Hillary. Who is Ready for Hillary? Iran, North Korea and Al Qaeda.

Hillary Clinton is taking heat for saying America should “empathize” and show “respect” for its enemies.

The former secretary of State, who is considered a likely 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, made the remarks during a speech Wednesday at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Touting an approach she calls “smart power,” Clinton urged America to use “every possible tool and partner” to advance peace.

This, she said, includes “leaving no one on the sidelines, showing respect even for one’s enemies, trying to understand and insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view.”

We already know how that works.

After Benghazi, Hillary Clinton promised the father of a murdered SEAL that they would get the man who made the video. And they did. He went to prison for offending Muslims. Meanwhile the Jihadists who did it took over Benghazi and entire Libyan cities.

Obama ran on a “Smart Power” foreign policy. That means trashing our allies and rewarding our enemies. It led to Al Qaeda takeovers of entire countries and an Iranian nuclear program rushing toward doomsday.

It led to widespread contempt for America, to a Russian invasion of Ukraine, despite Hillary’s “Reset Button”. It led to renewed Chinese aggression.

And the only thing Hillary Clinton has to offer is more of the same. This isn’t a new car smell. It’s the smell of a burning building. It’s the odor of toxic gasses in Syria. It’s the stench of American power and influence going up in smoke.

If you thought Obama was an egotistical, pompous control freak… apparently you haven’t seen anything yet. It took less planning to go to the moon than to get Hillary Clinton to speak at UCLA.

When officials at the University of California at Los Angeles began negotiating a $300,000 speech appearance by Hillary Rodham Clinton, the school had one request: Could we get a reduced rate for public universities?

The answer from Clinton’s representatives: $300,000 is the “special university rate.”

How generous.

In fact Hillary Clinton spoke at the University of Nevada for $225K and $275K at the University of Buffalo, so Hillary is lying. As usual.

And what did UCLA, subsidized by taxpayers, get in exchange for that?

Luskin told a university official to make sure the event raised at least $100,000.

That’s what an investment in Hillary looks like. You’re lucky if you get back 1/3 of what you put in. But meanwhile Hillary had more demands than a rock star with a nose full of cocaine and fame.

Top university officials discussed at length the style and color of the executive armchairs Clinton and moderator Lynn Vavreck would sit in as they carried on a question-and-answer session, as well as the kind of pillows to be situated on each chair.

Can you imagine life for Hillary Clinton’s illegal alien help? Or life for her interior decorator?

Clinton’s team rejected the podium planned for her use during her 20- to 30-minute speech, setting off a scramble on campus to find a suitable podium and rent a new university seal to match.

If only Hillary Clinton put as much thought into securing the Benghazi mission, which remained structurally unprotected, as she did into picking out the right podium.

And every possible comfort for her convenience.

Her representatives asked for a case of still water, room temperature, to be deposited stage right. They also asked that “a carafe of warm/hot water, coffee cup and saucer, pitcher of room temperature water, water glass, and lemon wedges” be situated both on a table on stage as well as in another room where Clinton would stand for photos with VIPs.

For the green room, Clinton’s representatives requested: “Coffee, tea, room temp sparkling and still water, diet ginger ale, crudité, hummus and sliced fruit.” They also asked for a computer, mouse and printer, as well as a scanner, which the university had to purchase for the occasion.

And then probably had to be ceremonially burned. Even when getting a medal, it would be lese majeste to hang it around the royal Clinton neck.

When university officials decided to award Clinton the UCLA Medal, Clinton’s team asked that it be presented to her in a box rather than draped around her neck. That request was sent to the university’s chancellor, Gene Block.

Lippert replied: “I can either have the jewelers box open or closed, in case the Chancellor doesn’t want to risk opening it.”

And the transparency was truly epic.

When an online survey asked the public what questions should be posed during a 40-minute question-and-answer session, university officials noted in e-mails that the majority of the suggestions were about the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

Clinton gave permission for the university to record the event, but “for archival purposes only.” For public distribution, Clinton’s speaking agency approved only a two-minute highlight video to upload to YouTube. “Please make sure it is available only for one (1) year from the date of posting.”

And once you paid a whole bunch of money to have your photo taken with Hillary Clinton, you better be waiting for her, you filthy peasants.

Lippert wrote to colleagues that Clinton’s representatives wanted the group shots “prestaged,” with participants assembled and ready to take the photographs before Clinton arrived “so the secretary isn’t waiting for these folks to get their act together.” Reiterating the request, Lippert added, “She doesn’t like to stand around waiting for people.”

Gives “Ready for Hillary” a whole new meaning.

Hillary Clinton is the Democratic presidential frontrunner. She’s also a non-stop gaffe machine. The two don’t go together too well because Hillary’s gaffes end up reconfirming the impression of some in her party that she isn’t progressive enough.

I’m not sure the party really saw this coming.

Hillary’s gaffes used to involve telling crazy lies, like being named after Sir Edmund Hillary or coming under fire at the airport. Her new gaffes are less about lies than about being “almost politically correct” but then shooting herself in the foot.

The former secretary of state spoke at a gala for the New York Historical Society at the Mandarin Oriental hotel on November 21. During a Q&A session, Clinton, who received an honor from the organization, praised President Obama’s recently announced executive order on immigration that will give around 5 million illegal immigrants legal status. Calling the executive order “historic,” she urged the black-tie crowd to remember that “this is about peoples’ lives.”

“This is about, I would venture to guess, the people who served us tonight, who prepared our food tonight,” Clinton said, according to MSNBC’s Alex Seitz-Wald.

But a spokesperson for the Mandarin Oriental disputes Clinton’s suggestion that the executive order would be extended to any of the hotel’s employees.

“Mandarin Oriental, New York does not knowingly employ illegal and/or undocumented immigrants. We require all employees to provide proof of their eligibility to legally work in the U.S.,” said Tammy Peters, a spokesperson for the hotel, in an email to THE WEEKLY STANDARD. “All wait staff and catering staff are employed through our hotel and we do not use outside contractors for such services.”

Not only did Hillary fall into stereotype mode, but she also managed to make herself unwelcome in a hotel. Any hotel that hosts an event she’s at will now have to worry that she’ll call the legality of their operations into question.

Does Sharpton still have what it takes to make life bad for Hillary?

During the 2008 primaries, Sharpton broke ranks with a lot of the Dem political establishment by dumping Hillary and backing Obama.

“I said, ‘I’m gonna do whatever I gotta do to help you. Hillary Clinton has never done nothing for us,’” said Sharpton, recounting a conversation with Obama for his followers at his group’s weekly rally.

Obama rewarded Sharpton by effectively making him his spokesman to the Black community.

Now it appears that Sharpton is still at war with Hillary.

On Friday’s Morning Joe program on what remains of MSNBC, Al Sharpton, completely ignoring how late appearances in Maryland and Illinois by President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle coincided with significant deterioration in the situations of Democratic Party gubernatorial candidates in Maryland and Illinois, blamed Bill and Hillary Clinton, and not the Obamas, for Tuesday’s Democratic debacle.

The idea of a news network inviting political analysis on national elections from Al Sharpton is ridiculous enough, but it’s MSNBC and they gave Racist Al his own show.

It’s not just that Sharpton is defending Obama. That’s his job. But he’s also attacking the Clintons. That’s a risky move since he loses his ties to the Dem establishment if she wins.

But then again he probably lost them anyway.

The Clintons, especially Hillary, go long on grudges. They have enemies lists and they never really forget being sold out. Sharpton could have done what some Obama endorsees did and try to broker a truce, but instead he’s going for broke.

His old strategy was to make so much trouble for a politician that they would have to cut a deal with him. That’s probably his plan for Hillary. The question is does Sharpton, who has become a joke even in the Black community under Obama, still have what it takes to make life bad for Hillary

Don’t worry, they have great new ideas for the future. Okay mostly they’re the same ideas from the Woodrow Wilson administration, but they threw in a lot of stuff about solar power and sustainability.

In addition to Clinton, the 2016 Democratic field could include: California governor Jerry Brown, Vice President Joe Biden (the presumed frontrunner), and Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders.

In such a scenario, Brown would be the oldest Democrat in the race; he’ll be 78 in 2016. Biden will be 73. Sanders will be 75. Hillary, who will be 69 on Election Day, would be younger by comparison. If Elizabeth Warren decides to run, she would be the youngest Democrat, thought not by much. Warren will be 67 in 2016.

Warren seems like she won’t run unless Hillary Clinton screws up even more egregiously than she has so far. The Pride of the Cherokee is saving herself for 2020 or maybe 2024, when the Democratic Party will really need fresh new ideas from Das Kapital.

So that leaves Jerry Brown, who inherited the rule of the Mexican Protectorate of California from his father, Bernie Sanders, who occasionally knows what year it is, though usually not what century, and Joe Biden, whose brain was removed to make way for his new hair.

Behold the party of tomorrow.

That money could have been better spent on just about anything. Anything other than a flying minibar for Bill and Hillary.

Democratic candidates struggling for campaign cash were forced to spend nearly $700,000 through October 15 for the Clintons’ private jet travel. That number is only expected to grow as new FEC reports are released later this month.

And the Clintons couldn’t actually salvage their candidates so the money went to the Bill and Hillary jet fund. Instead of being spent on shrill attack ads.

BuzzFeed is predicting that the final tab will pass $1 million. A lot of these are Arkansas events which means money right down the tubes because the Dems lost Arkansas big time and the Clintons couldn’t help them save it.

Because Hillary Clinton held most of her rallies and fundraisers in late October, only a fraction of the expenses associated with her travel are currently public.

So the good stuff from Air Hillary is still coming.

America is “Ready for Hillary” as soon as Hillary decides who she wants to pretend to be with the help of a lot of political consultants.

I hope all the political consultants manage to turn out a Hillary for everyone. A Hillary who is bold and cautious. For business and regulation. For war and peace. For freedom and slavery.

Or maybe they can just get Tea Leoni to play her... just like on television.

In the coming weeks, Hillary Rodham Clinton will stop delivering paid speeches. She will embark on an unofficial listening tour to gather ideas from the business community, union leaders and others. And she will seek advice from such far-flung advisers as an ad man in Austin, Tex., behind the iconic “Don’t Mess With Texas” campaign and a leading strategist at a Boston-based public affairs consulting firm with ties to the Kennedys.

Once Hillary has been branded and programmed with her message, she’ll be sent on another listening tour to vomit her talking points all over the common people.

Com’mo’n peo’ple – Rabble, Taxpayers, Persons lacking affiliation with the Kennedys

People close to Mrs. Clinton often point to a potential campaign manager in Robby Mook, a 34-year-old operative who managed the campaign for the Clintons’ longtime money man, Gov. Terry McAuliffe of Virginia.

Who better to run your campaign than your money man’s campaign manager. Now let’s talk about income inequality while we pick your pockets.

In addition to her small personal staff, Mrs. Clinton also receives advice from Minyon Moore, a savvy former White House adviser who works at the Dewey Square Group, a Boston-based consultancy with an office in Washington.

You can never have too many Minions.

Ms. Moore is close to other potential campaign aides like Guy Cecil, executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and who previously worked at Dewey Square.

The Clintoctopus stretches everywhere.

Other advisers are more far-flung. Roy Spence, the Austin advertising executive who helped develop the state’s ubiquitous “Don’t Mess with Texas” anti-littering campaign and who has known the Clintons for decades, is offering advice about image and messaging.

That’s exactly how you launch a serious presidential campaign. Get the Don’t Litter guy to write you a jingle.

Mrs. Clinton turned to Sean Wilentz, a Princeton professor and presidential historian, for advice on shaping her stump speech ahead of Tuesday’s election. During the 2008 Democratic primary, Professor Wilentz, a longtime Clinton defender, accused Barack Obama’s campaign of “the most outrageous deployment of racial politics since the Willie Horton ad campaign in 1988.”

And that worked out really well.

As the outline for a campaign is drawn, Mrs. Clinton’s supporters describe what they envision as a “New Clinton Map” that they believe could create a winning coalition for 2016, drawing on the white working-class women who have long supported Mrs. Clinton and the young voters and African-Americans who helped elect Mr. Obama.

You mean the white working class women who abandoned her candidates in the midterms and the black voters who are leaning toward Biden? Get your Princeton professor to accuse them of being just like Willie Horton. That’s bound to work.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see which Hillary Clinton we’re going to get soon.

Eleven disturbing voter fraud facts leftists pretend not to know.

With a perfectly straight face, Barack Obama recently told Al Sharpton’s National Action Network that “the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our [voting] rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud.” Eric Holder likewise contends, without even a hint of a grin, that voter ID laws are merely “political efforts” designed to make it “more difficult” for nonwhite minorities to “have access to the ballot.” And Hillary Clinton, too, casually dismisses voter fraud as a “phantom epidemic” that exists chiefly in the imagination of conservatives. Democrat consultant Donna Brazile puts it more colorfully, calling charges of voter fraud “a big ass lie.”

As they twist their faces into pained and pious countenances to give the appearance of passion and sincerity, these four individuals—along with all the other leading Democrats who invariably spout the same tripe—have only one significant thing in common: None of them actually believe even a word that they say about the rarity of voter fraud or the alleged injustice of voter ID requirements. In the privacy of their hearts, their efforts are devoted chiefly to refraining from laughing out loud at the absurd stupidities that they parrot ceaselessly—like Eric Holder’s claim that voter ID requirements are the equivalent of “poll taxes.” If the Democrats were honest, they would simply say the following:

We are moral crusaders who believe that the conservative vision of the world is evil beyond measure, and that our vision of an ever-expanding central government that controls the economy, regulates every aspect of people’s lives, and redistributes everyone’s wealth and property as we deem appropriate, is by far the better course. And because our objectives are so much better for humankind as a whole, we are resolutely committed to using any means at our disposal to achieve them. Thus we will deceive, lie, cheat, and steal anything—including elections. That’s why we’re not at all ashamed of playing the role of imbeciles when we promote the vapid idiocies that we cite as reasons to oppose voter ID laws.

But instead of making honest declarations like these, the Democrats instead pretend to be unaware of very well-known facts like the following:

•A 2012 report by the Pew Center on the States found that 24 million voter registrations—an incredible one-eighth of all registrations nationwide—were either invalid or inaccurate, including almost 3 million people who were registered in more than one state, and more than 1.8 million dead people who were still registered.

•A 2014 study found that two years earlier, some 155,692 registered voters in North Carolina alone had first and last names, birth dates, and final four Social Security number digits that matched those of voters who were registered in other states.

•The same study also found that 35,570 people who had actually voted in North Carolina, had first names, last names, and birth dates dates that matched those of voters who had cast ballots in other states.

•On election day 2013, undercover agents from New York City’s Department of Investigations (DOI) went to 63 different polling places and assumed the names of individuals who were ineligible to vote because they had either died, moved out of town, or been incarcerated. In 61 of the 63 instances, or 97% of the time, the agents were allowed to vote.

•In 2008, Democrat Al Franken won a highly controversial U.S. Senate race in Minnesota by just 312 votes. It was later discovered that 1,099 felons—all legally ineligible to vote—had nonetheless cast ballots in the election, almost exclusively for Franken. Consider this: Without Franken, the Democrats would not have had the 60 Senate votes they needed in order to pass Obamacare in 2010.

•A 2006 study found 77,000 dead people listed on New York’s statewide database of registered voters, and many of them had somehow managed to cast ballots from the grave. One Bronx address in particular was identified as the home of as many as 191 of these registered voter-corpses.

•In Milwaukee in 2004, approximately 5,300 more ballots were cast than voters who were recorded as having shown up at the polls.

•In 2008, election officials nationwide had to discard at least 400,000 bogus voter registrations submitted by ACORN, the infamous, Obama-affiliated criminal operation masquerading as a “community organization.” No one knows how many other invalid registrations were never detected.

•In 2011, a Colorado study found that of the nearly 12,000 non-citizens who were registered to vote in that state, about 5,000 had taken part in the 2010 general election.

•In ten Colorado counties in 2012, voter registrations outnumbered the total voting-age population by between 4% and 40%.

•In a forthcoming article in the journal Electoral Studies, university professors Jesse Richman and David Earnest conclude that a significant number of non-citizens—who support Democrats about 80% of the time—vote in U.S. elections, and that “their participation can change the outcome of close races.”

These examples represent only the barest tip of a colossal iceberg. And Obama, Holder, Hillary, and the rest of the Democrats know all about it, just like you and I know all about it. They really aren’t dumb enough to believe any of the things they say about voter fraud and voter ID. They’re just counting on voters being dumb enough to believe them. It’s that simple.

And I’m speaking literally.

CBS may have blown as much as $100 million to promote Hillary Clinton’s candidacy with its new show Madam Secretary. The good news is that the show seems to have alienated as many young people as it was going to and is now holding steady with 1.5 million in the demo.

Those are poor numbers, but they could be worse.

Madam Secretary though continues bleeding viewers in general. It debuted with almost 15 million viewers. Last sunday’s episode fell for the first time below the 12 million mark and hit 11 million viewers.

That’s a sharp decline with almost three quarters of a million viewers vanishing in one week.

The bad news for CBS, Hillary Clinton and Madam Secretary is that the losses aren’t stopping. The series has been losing viewers nearly every week that it’s been on the air.

There’s no sign that the losses are about to stop. The series has lost over 3 million viewers so far. It hit new lows for two out of the last three weeks.

And it’s leading a charmed life largely because it has no real demographic competition with football on NBC, younger oriented programming on FOX and a weak ABC Sunday night that doesn’t seem to be about to turn around any time soon.

"Hillary is a completely amoral candidate who can't stop lying."

First Hillary Clinton said, and I quote, “Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.”

Apparently someone pointed out to her that she was…

1. Economically illiterate

2. Businesses are providing the private jets to her six figure speeches about nothing

So she wants another shot at explaining what she meant.

“I short-handed this point the other day, so let me be absolutely clear about what I’ve been saying for a couple of decades.”

“Our economy grows when businesses and entrepreneurs create good-paying jobs here in America and workers and families are empowered to build from the bottom up and the middle out — not when we hand out tax breaks for corporations that outsource jobs or stash their profits overseas.”

Let Hillary be clear. She means that businesses create jobs.

When she said, “Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs” that was shorthand for businesses create jobs.

How could it be any more obvious?

Also when I said that, “Hillary is a completely amoral candidate who can’t stop lying who would be better suited to chasing gophers around a parking lot than being president”… I meant that she’s the best candidate this country has ever seen.

I was just short-handing it.

A 5-second guide to job creation by Hillary Clinton.

At a campaign rally in Massachusetts, Hillary Clinton did her best to prove that she could out-Warren Warren by declaring, “Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.”

If the organizations that actually hire and pay workers don’t create jobs, who does?

Some leftists say that if you leave a glass of milk and a plate of cookies out on the table overnight along with a neatly spaced resume on recycled paper, elves will sneak in and create a job for you.

“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” Hillary smirked. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”

Speaking of things that have failed rather spectacularly, aside from Hillary’s time as Secretary of State, her latest memoir or Martha Coakley whose rally was the platform for Hillary’s tripe, there’s the old theory that government central planning creates jobs.

That theory has been tried in the last six years and it has failed rather spectacularly.

It has failed so spectacularly that Martha Coakley once again can’t beat a Republican in Massachusetts. Coakley is claiming that it’s a dead heat when polls show that she’s losing by 9 points. But while Hillary insisted that her husband “brought arithmetic” to Washington (someone had to count rental costs on the Lincoln Bedroom and presidential pardons for international fugitives), leftists are really bad at math.

Their theory failed so miserably that Hillary’s party is about to lose the Senate and no Democratic candidate wants to be seen with her old boss out of fear that his stench of failure will cling to them.

Hillary Clinton is attacking Reagan while campaigning for Carter. She’s having Mondale acid flashbacks. But despite Marx, Obama and Warren, businesses actually do create jobs. Lefty politicians who have never worked for a living while claiming that businesses don’t create jobs… don’t create jobs.

The savviest cattle futures investor in all of Arkansas and former Wal-Mart board member is signaling that she intends to be a member of the Obama/Warren “You didn’t build that” party. And that’s her business. But Hillary Clinton’s only real business was monetizing her political connections.

That’s still the business that she’s in today.

Hillary Clinton doesn’t know how jobs are created because her jobs have always come through her political connections. In Hillary’s world, government really does create jobs. To professional parasites like her, a private sector in which small businesses labor to deliver products or services to their customers without being subsidized by the government doesn’t exist.

A government economy makes sense if you’ve been living all your life in one. If your idea of “work” is going from the Ivy League to political non-profit activism interlinked with the government to law firms interlinked with the government to public office, you naturally think that corruption creates jobs.

Except you don’t call it corruption — you call it public service.

Hillary Clinton’s current round of public service consists of giving six-figure speeches to corporations, trade industry groups and public universities, some of which just happen to be run by cabinet members from her husband’s old administration.

After stealing as much furniture from the White House as the moving van could carry, the “flat broke” Clintons bought a $1.7 mil colonial mansion in Westchester funded by Terry McAuliffe, the current ridiculously corrupt Governor of Virginia with a long history of mixing bad business with worse politics.

The Clinton-McAuliffe real estate deals go back to the early days of the White House when McAuliffe got an improper $375K payment from Prudential while his DNC picked up $85K in exchange for a government pension agency signing a $187 million lease on a Prudential building.

Who can believe that the corner store creates jobs when you’re looking at profit margins like that?

As McAuliffe once put it, “I’ve met all of my business contacts through politics. It’s all interrelated.”

This is the corrupt ocean that the Clintons swim in. Expecting Hillary to know how jobs are created is like expecting an ex-con to go straight. Crime is all he knows. It’s all that the Clintons, the Obamas and the Warrens know. We are dealing with people who have no concept of how earning a living even works.

Socialism appeals to them on two levels. First it lets them skim as much off the top as they can. Second it makes sense to them because in their experience jobs are created through government contacts. If Americans need jobs, why not just give money to a politically connected green energy company that promises to create a bunch of jobs while outsourcing its business plan to the elves?

Like McAuliffe’s GreenTech, which in true Clinton style involved Hillary Clinton’s brother, dirty Chinese businessmen, an international fugitive, endangering national security, insider lobbying, an SEC investigation, millions in government loans and 2,000 union jobs for Virginia that never materialized.

And those million cars a year that it was supposed to build are nowhere in sight. But that’s how you create jobs in Hillary’s world.

Hillary Clinton thinks that jobs are created by magic elves named Terry McAuliffe in exchange for leaving out large bribes of milk, cookies and graft. And in her world, she’s right. Unfortunately the only people employed by McAuliffe jobs are Terry McAuliffe and assorted Clinton pals.

You can’t run an economy on McAuliffe jobs just like you can’t run one on Mafia jobs.

Corruption is a layer on top of the economy. It’s not the economy. That’s what corrupt politicians like Obama, Clinton and Warren don’t understand.

When central planning wins, everyone outside the Party loses. That’s what happened in the USSR where central planning built an entire economy of mandatory jobs without creating money or anything worth buying with it for anyone except Communist Party members. Most Russians just created their own private enterprises by reselling anything they could find at their jobs on the black market.

The Communist Capitalists of China get along so well with the Communist Capitalists of Chicago because they speak the common language of corruption, fake companies, big bribes and self-righteous ideology. But unlike the USSR, the progressives not only haven’t added money (to anyone except the Party), but they haven’t even created jobs. And unlike the ChiComs, they haven’t built anything either.

The modern leftist believes that wealth is created through debt and jobs through government orders. She knocks millions out of work and if they stay out of work long enough, she declares that the economy has recovered because unemployment is down. She raises the price of food and electricity to save the environment without ever being personally affected. She asserts that the vast diversion of wealth into government, crony corporations and dirty little McAuliffe schemes makes her a patron of the worker.

Businesses don’t create jobs, she thinks. She does. But the only jobs she creates are for the burly men stripping the covers off unsold copies of her memoir and tossing the rest in the trash.

Hillary Clinton’s extended experiences creating jobs can’t be challenged. She has worked in such diverse fields as…

1. Defending a man who raped a 12 year old

2. Using her husband’s political connections to make money

3. Using her husband’s political connections to get elected

4. Using her political connections to get a $14 million advance for a book written by someone else which bombed resulting in millions lost

… so there’s no question that she knows what she’s talking about when it comes to job creation. Or defending rapists. Or putting people in jail who make YouTube videos.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told audience members at a campaign rally Friday night not to listen to anybody who says “businesses create jobs.”

“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs,” Mrs. Clinton said during her remarks at a Boston rally for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley, Breitbart reported Friday.

“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she said, “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”

Sure. That’s why America failed and the USSR succeeded. Because capitalism just doesn’t work.

So who does create jobs? Government. We’ve tried that in the last six years. It really, really doesn’t work. That’s why workforce participation is in the toilet.

Jobs are created by those hiring people to do them. Government can create jobs in the same way that a guy stealing your wallet creates wealth. Those government jobs are parasitic on businesses, small and large. They’re parasitic on the people who work and pay their taxes.

Governments, like criminals, take money out. They don’t put money in. If they do their jobs correctly, then they create an environment in which people can work. If they do it badly, then you end up with Cuba, Venezuela or Obamerica.

There's no crime too horrific that a large checkbook and campaign donations won't solve.

The Office of the Inspector General of the State Department found in its latest investigation that Clinton aides had “created an appearance of undue influence and favoritism” in a number of cases including that of Ambassador Howard Gutman.

The investigation is largely a whitewash. There is no mention of the fact that one whistleblower related to the case, Richard Higbie, had his emails deleted by a hacker. Or that the main whistleblower, Aurelia Fedenisn, was harassed at home and had her law firm burgled.

It goes almost without saying that Richard Nixon went down for much less than that.

There is also no mention of the more explosive allegation that Howard Gutman had not merely solicited a prostitute on a single occasion, as the report mentions, but had escaped his detail to “solicit sexual favors from minor children.”

Also overlooked is the fact that the Gutman case was shoved under the rug by Cheryl Mills, who was not only Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff but the White House Counsel who ferociously protected Bill Clinton when questions were raised about his own sexual activities.

Mills is a fanatical Clinton loyalist. During her days in the Clinton White House, a colleague was quoted as saying, “If something’s on the other side of a brick wall and the Clintons need it, she’ll find a way to get to it: over, around or through.”

It should come as no surprise that Cheryl Mills also played a key role in covering up Benghazigate. It was Mills who had ordered Gregory Hicks, the Deputy Chief of Mission, not to talk about what happened. Hicks testified that he had been punished for refusing to keep quiet.

Covering up for Gutman’s sexual abuse of children would have been about more than just the State Department’s usual white wall of silence. Like many European ambassadors in the new administration, Gutman was not a diplomat — he was a donor. A man like Christopher Stevens might be sent to Libya, but positions in European capitals were mostly reserved for major contributors to the Democratic Party.

When it came to money, Howard Gutman, a top Washington lawyer, brought in the cash by raising $500,000 for Obama’s campaign committee and another $275,000 for his inauguration committee. And Gutman was not just an Obama boy. He had donated the legal maximum to Hillary’s presidential bid.

That was a lot of money. Enough to let a donor molest as many children as he cared to.

Once in Belgium, Howard Gutman got in trouble for making anti-Semitic remarks. An actual diplomat might have been replaced, but Gutman was there as a donor and it would take a lot to move him out. While Stevens was begging for basic security for the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Gutman was having his 16,096 square foot mansion in Brussels renovated on the grounds of environmental correctness.

If only Stevens had been able to raise six figures for a presidential candidate maybe the Benghazi mission would have been secured by something more than empty promises and wishful thinking.

Not even allegations of child abuse could dislodge the grotesque Gutman from his sinecure.

Instead of being permanently recalled, Gutman visited Washington to meet with Cheryl Mills and Patrick Kennedy, both key figures in the Benghazi cover-up, and went right back to his mansion.

When the case finally broke open after Hillary Clinton had left the building, the hot Libyan wind blowing in her wake, her spokeswoman followed the Obama tradition by claiming complete ignorance. “We learned of it from the media and don’t know anything beyond what’s been reported,” she said.

Obama had learned about all his scandals from the media. Why should Hillary be any different? And yet it wasn’t exactly the first time that the Clintons had ended up in this mess.

Jeffrey Epstein, a top Clinton pal, had sexually abused a large number of children, including three 12-year-old girls. He had boasted of “buying” another 14-year-old girl. Epstein’s jets ferried the “flat broke” Bill Clinton around to his private island, where some of his atrocities took place, and all the way over to Africa. At least one of Epstein’s “girls” claimed that she had met Bill Clinton.

When the case broke wide open, Epstein, like Gutman, all but got away with it. Instead of the ten year sentence that the federal government had wanted, he ended up serving little more than a year in jail.

If you can call it jail when Epstein was serving his time in a private wing of the Palm Beach prison and was “let out on work release six days a week for up to 16 hours a day.” During his “house arrest,” he flew around the country on his jets from his New York City place to his private island.

The timing of the case had been inconvenient. The Epstein case overlapped with Hillary Clinton’s reelection campaign. While Hillary Clinton was locking down the Democratic Party nomination, Jeffrey Epstein was wriggling out of the charges using a combination of ugly tactics and political pressure.

Much of the blame fell on State Attorney Barry Krischer, a prominent Democrat who had vigorously targeted Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, the latter for voting in the wrong precinct. Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter had even asked Krischer to remove himself from the case. Krischer did not.

These days Barry has a “humanitarian award” named after him and it’s unclear what goodies await him if the Clintons crawl into the White House.

Such brutalization of children would horrify most people, but we already know that they would not have moved Hillary Clinton in the least. The recent release of an audio tape in which Clinton laughed while discussing her defense of a vicious rapist who beat a 12-year-old girl into a coma is a horrifying look at the kind of woman who could participate in the cover-up of such crimes against children.

Hillary Clinton’s defense of the rapist had included accusing the 12-year-old girl of being “emotionally unstable with a tendency to seek out older men and engage in fantasizing.” Despite that, Hillary had made it clear in the interview that she knew her rapist was guilty. And she had laughed about it.

Throughout the years, Hillary Clinton repeatedly lied about the case and the media helped her cover up some of the uglier details. It is in its own way much the same story as the cases of Howard Gutman and Jeffrey Epstein. If Hillary Clinton had no problem accusing a 12-year-old girl who had been raped and beaten into a coma of being a liar, why would she stop at covering up for Gutman and Epstein?

Pardongate had already proven that the Clintons and their collaborators, including future Attorney General Eric Holder, were willing to deliver pardons to those in a position to pay them back. But the Gutman case is another reminder that the Clintons are willing to do more than merely pardon financial crimes. There may be no crime too horrific, no atrocity too terrible, that a large checkbook cannot buy.

We expect a certain amount of corruption from our politicians. It might even be unrealistic to deny its inevitability. But there are places where we must draw the line or become a republic of monsters.

If we can’t draw the line at an Epstein or a Gutman, then what we have is not mere corruption but Saddam Hussein’s rape rooms and child prisons under the MSNBC logo. It means that we live in a country where leftist billionaires and millionaires buy children the way that they buy elections.

The Gutman case deserves to be fully and thoroughly investigated, in the way that the Epstein case wasn’t. And the cover-up of it should be pursued no matter how high up it goes.

"A DS agent was called off a case against US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman"

Howard Gutman gave the Democratic Party money. In return he got what many other donors got, a plushy ambassadorial gig in a European capital, which he used to justify Muslim anti-Semitism creating an instant scandal.

Meanwhile in a less prominent scandal, he was also doing something even worse.

A DS agent was called off a case against US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman over claims that he solicited prostitutes, including minors.

“The agent began his investigation and had determined that the ambassador routinely ditched his protective security detail in order to solicit sexual favors from both prostitutes and minor children,” says the memo.

“The ambassador’s protective detail and the embassy’s surveillance detection team . . . were well aware of the behavior.”

Undersecretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy ordered the investigation ceased, and the ambassador remains in place, according to the memo.

Gutman was a big Democratic donor before taking the post, having raised $500,000 for President Obama’s 2008 campaign and helping finance his inaugural.

What’s a little sexual abuse of children when you’ve raised half a million for Barack Obama. Now a State Department investigation has belatedly found undue influence by Hillary.

A State Department investigation has found that aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton contributed to the “appearance of undue influence and favoritism” in three departmental investigations related to alleged sexual conduct by officials in the field.

n the highest-level case, the department’s inspector general found that senior State Department officials declared an allegation that the U.S. Ambassador to Belgium had solicited a prostitute in a public park as a “management issue.” The move effectively halted an investigation by the department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The ambassador, Howard Gutman, was recalled to Washington from Belgium to meet with Under Secretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy and Clinton Counselor and Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, according to the report.

The investigation of Howard Gutman mentions the prostitute case, not the accusations of sexual abuse of children so the whitewashing is still in place. There’s also no mention of whistleblowers being intimidated.

That's a six figure speech.

Looks like someone’s been borrowing Obama’s speechwriters. The only thing this Hillary gibberish about the ObamaCare pacemaker tax turned up by Jennifer Rubin is missing is a “Let me be clear” and “Some people say.”

On the tax itself, again I think we have to look to see what are the pluses and the minuses, that are embodied in a decision about either to remove or alter or continue this particular piece of the Affordable Care Act and I’ve in preparation for coming here, I’ve obviously looked at the arguments on both sides for more information and I think we’ll gather more information and that will perhaps give us a better path forward.

The tax has been an issue for quite a while now. Hillary is running for president. Her signature issue used to be health care.

Does she think that anyone really believes that she needs to gather more information before taking a position or that she would be dodging this hard if she didn’t support the pacemaker tax?

But of course there’s another reason that Hillary Clinton is lying about her ObamaCare pacemaker tax position. The only reason that the greedy Clintons do anything.

Money. Money. And more money.

“Sources close to AdvaMed don’t expect Clinton to come out in favor of eliminating the medical device tax, but her appearance before the group is a key indicator the powerful industry is ready to spend money to derail the tax in the near future and build key bipartisan coalitions.” (Bruce Jaspen, “As ObamaCare Batters Device Makers, Lobby Snuggles With Hillary In Chicago,” Forbes, 10/7/14)

We’re talking about a six figure speech. And possibly more of those to come. Reason enough for Hillary to go on playing coy about the pacemaker tax.

“I just think we have to get out of the ideological wars that either we can’t change anything or we have to change everything, and begin to be smart and pragmatic problem solvers again, and I think that goes to your point. I don’t know what the right answer about the tax is.”

We have to be smart and pragmatic. But don’t ask her about her smart and pragmatic answer to the pacemaker tax, because Hillary is smartly and pragmatically signaling that she’s open to being bribed one way or another.
