Islamophobes look like everyone else. They can be your friend or next door neighbor.

They can be family members or just the crying frightened people you see on the evening news.

There are more Islamophobes than ever before. No one knows why.

Some people experience Islamophobia on planes. Others come down with it in shopping malls and schools.

The most common symptoms of Islamophobia are loud explosions, bullets and shouts of Allahu Akbar.

If you fear being killed by a Muslim terrorism, you may have come down with Islamophobia.

There are only two cures for Islamophobia; denial or fighting back.

Can we please stop talking about pinning Green Cards to any foreign student. It’s a bad idea and it ends like this.

A Moroccan man who entered the United States as an exchange student six years ago is facing criminal charges after planning to use a remote-controlled plane to bomb a U.S. university and a federal building in Connecticut, officials said on Tuesday.

In a conversation recorded by the FBI, El Mehdi Semlali Fathi “repeatedly confirmed his desire to bomb an educational university outside the state of Connecticut” and claimed he had lined up financing from drug dealers to fund the attack, officials said.

“Fathi stated that the bomb that he planned to use would be made for him, and he claimed that everything is available in Southern California on the border,” the FBI affidavit said.

Fathi entered the United States in 2008 on a student visa that expired in 2009 after he failed all the classes he had enrolled in at Virginia International University, according to court papers.

He had been preparing an asylum application but told a friend in a conversation recorded by the FBI that he had constructed a false history of abuse for political dissent in his native country to justify that bid.

Fathi has been arrested twice since entering the United States, in 2010 in Virginia for trespassing, a charge that was later dismissed, and in California in 2012 for theft.

In the Connecticut case, he has been charged with making false statements in an immigration-related matter.

And yet despite all this, he wasn’t deported. It was only when he began plotting a terror attack, that the authorities finally dealt with him.

Beware the IEDs of March. Maybe the moonshine is flowing a little more freely now that spring is here, but Muslim terrorists are practicing poor workplace safety skills and scoring a record number of own goals.

The death toll for March is up to 15 Muslim terrorists dead and 10 wounded (not counting their own family members) in unintentional suicide bombings. (Though some of them were planning to eventually suicide bomb.)

Three Al Qaeda operatives accidentally blew themselves up while outfitting a car with explosives. A member of a Sinai based jihadist movement who led a deadly attack in Israel in 2011 died last week when a car accident he was involved in exploded a bomb that he was carrying.

An intending car bomber in Somalia, thought to be part of the al-Qaida-linked al-Shabab jihadist organization, accidentally detonated his explosives prematurely. Four Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in a house explosion in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun.

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades division of Hamas mourned the untimely death in Rafah (Gaza) of one of its “field commanders”, Ibrahim al-Ghoul, and injuries to nine others as a result of a mishap during a training session on building bombs.

Aalim Deen Mehsud, a local commander of the Pakistani Taliban, blew himself up trying to cut open a mortar shell. In the Southern province of Helmand, four militants were killed and one was wounded when a roadside bomb they were attempting to plant along a main roadway went off prematurely.

So many explosions. And March isn’t even over yet.

The horoscope for Muslim terrorists in March is clear. “Beware explosive situations. When Jupiter is in ascendance, avoid tinkering with heavy explosives when you can’t even read above a first grade level. Mars is sinking. If you cut the red wire, you will go on a spiritual journey on a magic carpet made out of shrapnel.”

Unfortunately Muslim terrorists aren’t much on horoscopes and so the explosions of the IEDs of March keep coming.

The latest victim of Bombophobia is a Pakistani Taliban commander who decided to saw through a shell in his home. (via Religion of Peace)

Aalim Deen Mehsud, a local commander of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the North Waziristan tribal area, was trying to remove explosive material from a mortar shell, triggering the blast, a security official said.

“He was trying to cut the shell with a hand saw and take out the explosives when the explosion occurred, killing himself, four women and a child of his family,” the official told AFP.

Two other children were injured in the blast, the official said.

A member of the Qatari royal family tipped off Khalid Shaikh Mohammed

Shocked, shocked

After Qatar’s involvement with terrorists in Libya and Syria, its blatant endorsement of Hamas and its backing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt does the Washington Post really believe the nonsense it’s reporting?

And the story carefully avoids discussing whether the Al Qaeda backers were able to use their positions to move money from the Qatari royals to Al Qaeda. But here’s a sample of their work…

In 2013, Nu’aymi ordered the transfer of nearly $600,000 to al-Qa’ida via al-Qa’ida’s representative in Syria. Nu’aymi reportedly oversaw the transfer of over $2 million per month to al-Qa’ida in Iraq for a period of time. He also served as an interlocutor between these Qatari nationals and al-Qa’ida in Iraq leaders.

During political unrest in Yemen, Humayqani reportedly assisted AQAP in gaining a foothold and safe haven in al-Bayda’ Governorate, Yemen and as of mid-2011 served as the acting AQAP amir there.

So we’re talking about more than just a backer here… but here’s how the Washington Post reports it…

When Qatar’s royal family was looking for advice on charitable giving, it turned to a well-regarded professor named Abd al-Rahman al-Nu’aymi. The 59-year-old educator had a stellar résumé that included extensive fundraising experience and years of work with international human rights groups.

But one apparent accomplishment was omitted from the list: According to U.S. officials, Nu’aymi also was working secretly as a financier for al-Qaeda, funneling millions of dollars to the terrorist group’s affiliates in Syria and Iraq even as he led campaigns in Europe for greater freedoms for Muslims.

I’m sure Qatar’s royal family had absolutely no idea. Isn’t that the way it always is? US officials always know more about who’s involved in terrorism than the local governments who never know that Mo or Abdul was really Al Qaeda. They’re always shocked that gambling is going on here.

Nu’aymi was one of two men identified by Treasury Department officials last week as major financial backers of al-Qaeda and its regional chapters across the Middle East… Both men have served as advisers to government-backed foundations in Qatar and have held high-profile positions with international human rights groups.

Two men. What are the odds?

Somehow Qatar’s ruling family was tricked into bringing on board two Al Qaeda backers as advisers. But they had no clue.

Despite attempts by gulf states to crack down on jihadist financial networks, former and current U.S. officials have described a surge in private support for Islamist extremists in Syria, particularly in Qatar and Kuwait.

They’re trying very hard. Just look at their luxurious revolving door terrorist rehab. Also look at all the weapons they’re sending to <del>Al Qaeda</del> the moderate freedom fighters.

Is it their fault that they keep turning to Al Qaeda backers to advise them?

The Obama administration has repeatedly urged both countries to rein in private donations to jihadists, while acknowledging that new tactics, including the widespread use of Twitter and other social media, make fundraising more difficult to track.

Also sometimes your advisers turn out to be Al Qaeda backers even though you had no idea. It’s social media’s fault.

The administration’s action last week named both men as “specially designated global terrorists,” a determination that allows U.S. officials to freeze their financial assets and bar American citizens and companies from doing business with them. Treasury Department documents alleged that both men used their charity work to conceal efforts to raise millions of dollars for al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups, from Syria to the Horn of Africa.

And now I’m sure our Qatari allies will jump to help now that they realized their tragic mistake of using Al Qaeda backers.

The naming of the two officials raised eyebrows in Qatar and Yemen, where supporters viewed the allegations as politically motivated.

Oh my, not the raised eyebrows and the politically motivated allegations. One sentence. Two journalistic cliches. No waiting.

Both men have been prominent critics of U.S. counterterrorism policies, particularly the use of drone strikes against terrorism suspects.

And you can understand why when the drones are aimed at your pals.

Nu’aymi, a Qatar University professor and former president of the Qatar Football Association, was a founding member of a prominent charity — the Sheik Eid bin Mohammad al-Thani Charitable Foundation, named for a member of the country’s ruling family. In recent years, Nu’aymi had gained renown as an international activist, serving as president of Alkarama, a Geneva-based human rights organization that works closely with the United Nations and major international activist groups to advocate for Muslims’ civil rights.

Alkarama lobbies on behalf of Islamist detainees around the world, and it accuses Western and Arab governments of suppressing the rights of political groups that promote Islamic rule for the Middle East.

Awful. How can anyone think of suppressing the rights of decent moderate folks who just want to suppress the rights of everyone who isn’t a Muslim man?

But it’s not like the Qatari royal family has links to Al Qaeda or September 11.

American officials say the FBI and CIA just missed capturing the al Qaeda leader believed to have organized the 9/11 attacks — and now believed to be planning a new attack against Americans — because it appears he was protected and tipped off by a member of the royal family in Qatar, Abdullah Bin Khalid al-Thani.

American authorities say Khalid Shaikh Mohammed masterminded behind the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks for Osama bin Laden, and is now considered bin Laden’s second in command.

“Certainly it is well-documented that there is one member of the Qatar royal family that supports al Qaeda,” said Rohan Gunaratna, the author of the book Inside Al Qaeda and professor at St. Andrews University in Scotland.

According to American intelligence officials, Abdallah bin Khalid al-Thani, a member of the Qatari royal family tipped off Mohammed. He is listed on government Web sites as the current minister of the Interior for Qatar and is known as a radical Islamic fundamentalist with ties to al Qaeda.

Mohammed is believed to have fled Qatar with a passport provided by that country’s government. He is also believed to have been given a home in Qatar as well as a job at the Department of Public Water Works. Officials also said bin Laden himself visited Abdallah bin Khalid al-Thani in Qatar between the years of 1996 and 2000.

I blame social media.

It’s a valid question. As the FBI complaint documents, Terry Loewen was a middle-aged white guy in Kansas who became a devotee of Anwar Al-Awlaki. It’s certainly an interesting transition.

We don’t have a Muslim name for Terry Loewen yet. And he appears to have been married to a (second?) wife, Deborah Loewen. We don’t have an exact timeline for his conversion to Islam either.

This is how his ex-wife tells the story…

“Terry didn’t like confrontation; he was never one to start a fight,” Sarah Loewen said. “He was so mellow.”

He was a good father to their son, Damien, 24.

The man who was capable of developing a suicide attack on the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport “is somebody I never knew,” Loewen said. “I would have never ever thought he would do anything this horrible. I can’t even put it in words.”

People tend to change on joining a cult. And cults attract people with a weak sense of identity looking for something to give them meaning.

That was likely the case for Terry Loewen, a weak man who told the FBI informant that he couldn’t stand up to 5 minutes of torture and that he would rather die than go to prison, who finally found something that he could fight for. The mass enslavement of mankind under the dead hand of a 7th century middle eastern warlord.

She didn’t know why or how Terry Loewen had formed such radical ideas.

But recently, Damien told her that his dad had become a Muslim.

“I said, ‘What is wrong with him?’ ” Sarah Loewen said.

That’s actually the right response. Though liberals will hiss and boo.

“I do agree on one thing; the one thing we are doing wrong is that all 1.5 billion of us don’t rise up against the rest of the world and tell THEM how it’s going to be. lnshallah,T it will happen soon,” Terry Loewen wrote.

For a man who hadn’t made much of his life, the idea of being part of a 1.5 billion strong force rising up to enslave, rape and kill the rest of the world may have been appealing.

This is something that Terry Loewen, a lion in name only, had in common with many of the “Four Lions” type Muslim Jihadists.

And for Terry Loewen, “He’s dead in my books,” she said. “He can rot in hell for all I care.”

Why do we keep releasing "innocent" Gitmo terrorists?

Can anyone remind me why we keep releasing “innocent” Gitmo terrorists when they keep going back to terrorism?

Israel has been holding for three years an Al Qaeda terrorist, once arrested by Americans a decade ago, after he tried to infiltrate into Israel to train Palestinian Authority terrorists to stage a biological attack, it was revealed on Sunday.

The terrorist was identified as 39-year-old Samer Abed al-Barak, who had been arrested by American authorities and jailed in Guantanamo Bay in 2003. He was released three months later to Jordan, where he was a free man but later was arrested for terrorist activities.

Jordan let him go in 2008 and apparently tipped off Israel that he would try to cross into Israel, according to documents filed in court by the Justice Ministry in response to a petition to free him.

Authorities said Al Barak had studied microbiology in Pakistan and tried to enter Israel via the Allenby Bridge in 2010 to put his knowledge to good jihad use and train Palestinian Authority terrorists to manufacture poisons for a biological attack in Israel.

Al-Barak also was planning a similar attack on Jewish tourists in Jordan. His administration detention is to expire in several days but can be renewed once more, and the Justice Ministry told the court that releasing him would produce an immediate and serious threat to Israel.

It is not known why he has not been charged and placed on trial. His lawyer said he was engaged in Pakistan in “humanitarian activities,: which is a nifty Al Qaeda code word for “killing Jews.”

Government officials confirmed the detention after it was published in the media. The government’s defense in court said that al-Barak is from Kuwait and moved with his family to Jordan and then to Kalkilya, in Samaria, before landing up Pakistan in 1995, where he obtained a masters’ degree that gave him his background for producing biological weapons.

Al Barak moved on to Afghanistan to engage in military training. He joined Al Qaeda in 2001 after being recruited by the terrorist organization’s current leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

So no wonder we let him go.

Seems plausible. It happens to me all the time. I get into my bulldozer and first thing you know, I’ve rammed into an army base and soldiers are shooting at me.

The uncle of the Palestinian Authority Arab terrorist, who was shot dead after trying to carry out an attack in an IDF base, claimed on Friday that his nephew got lost and did not intend to carry out a terror attack.

“He got lost, the soldiers did not wait, they should not have shot him right away,” the uncle of Younes al-Ubeidi was quoted by Channel 2 News as having said. “Younes had nothing against Jews.”

Well that seems sincere. Maybe it was all a misunderstanding.

Thursday’s incident began around 7 p.m., when the attacker drove a bulldozer to the gate of the Rama military base near the Palestinian town of al-Ram, southeast of Ramallah, close to Jerusalem’s municipal border. A soldier guarding the gate approached the bulldozer, and the attacker tried to run him over. The soldier fled but the attacker pursued him in the bulldozer. IDF officials said the soldier took cover behind a concrete pillar, which saved him from being seriously injured.

“The preliminary investigation found that once the terrorist realized he couldn’t run over the soldier, he moved quickly toward the inside of the base,” a senior IDF official said. “After 150 meters, he reached a line of military vehicles and flipped one into the air.”

The bulldozer later collided with another armored IDF vehicle.

Artillery Corps soldiers stationed at the base raced to the scene and opened fire at the attacker, wounding him. He died a short time later.

Okay, but maybe he was really just very confused and not good at operating bulldozers. Let’s hear from his uncle again.

“He was a humble and optimistic person, who did not have any mental problems except for his anger over the death of his brother,” the uncle said.

Wait. The death of his brother? How did his brother die anyway? Did it by any chance involve trying to run over non-Muslims with a bulldozer?

His brother Marei was killed while carrying out a similar bulldozer attack near the Malha Mall in Jerusalem on March 5, 2009. Two Israeli traffic officers were lightly injured in the 2009 attack.

Let’s get a little background on the older brother, who was apparently part of a family tradition of getting really lost while driving bulldozers.

A Palestinian driver rammed his bulldozer into a police car, rolling it over until it slammed into a bus at one of Jerusalem’s busiest intersections on Thursday before police and a taxi driver shot him dead.

An open Koran was found in the driver’s cabin, Niso Shaham, Jerusalem’s deputy police chief, told reporters at the scene.

“Eyewitness Shuli Cohen told Israel Radio that Radaydeh had used the bulldozer’s front blade to flip over the police car. The two officers inside were lightly hurt, Israel Police said,” according to the report.

A taxi driver identified by the first name of Dor said he witnessed the bulldozer attack and was the first to shoot towards the Palestinian bulldozer driver.

“I saw the police car fly into the air. He flipped it over twice, then continued dragging it toward a bus that was stuck in traffic,” he told Israel Radio adding he had fired four shots at the Palestinian and wounded him.

“Then a policeman came with his M-16 and finished him off finally,” he said.

Here’s some video of that cultural misunderstanding. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like this family really has trouble reading a Koran and driving a bulldozer at the same time.

Maybe it’s time to take away their bulldozers until they learn to drink and operate heavy construction equipment like normal construction workers.

Good news for terrorists. New York City is about to be on De Blasio time.

Linda Sarsour is a rabidly anti-Semitic Islamic supremacist who has said that “nothing is creepier than Zionism” and equated it with “racism.” She is also a frequent visitor to the Obama White House, and has claimed that the jihad underwear bomber was a CIA agent – part of what she claims is a U.S. war against Islam.

And Bill De Blasio Time will be good for any of Sarsour’s “CIA” pals who want to bomb a synagogue.

De Blasio, the front-runner in the Nov. 5 general election, said that, on his watch, NYPD surveillance tactics would only be authorized to follow up on specific leads and that the police force would be under the supervision of a new inspector general.

The efforts of surveillance have to be based on specifically specific information, and obviously you need to go through a careful vetting process,” de Blasio said during a rally at Columbus Park in Downtown Brooklyn.

Linda Sarsour, head of the Muslim Democratic Club, said surveillance on the community is weighing on the minds of voters.

“Yes, it’s bringing people out to the polls,” she told Smith. “People are tired of a mayor that unequivocally stands behind the (police) commissioner and says that everything we’re doing is right.”

Two Muslim attacks on synagogues were averted because of NYPD tactics that Bill De Blasio has announced he’s going to ban.

De Blasio Time is a good time for synagogue bombings.

Considering where train bomb plotter Chiheb Esseghaier is headed, you would think that he wouldn’t be that eager. But I don’t think we have any right to pass judgement on his religious heritage and sexual orientation.

The outburst from Chiheb Esseghaier, who has repeatedly used court as a platform to espouse his religious views, came toward the end of the hearing, as the female officer moved toward the prisoner’s box to handcuff him.

“You are not my wife,” barked Mr. Esseghaier, clad in an orange prison jumpsuit and with a bushy black beard. “I want a man to touch me, not a woman. She is not my wife.”

A male officer was already in the room to escort his co-accused, Raed Jaser, back to his cell; in response to Mr. Esseghaier’s complaint, the male and female officers switched places. Mr. Jaser did not raise an issue.

“I don’t accept other reference, only the holy Koran… The Criminal Code is not perfect; only [the Koran] is perfect,” Mr. Esseghaier said in a rambling and repetitive answer to Justice Ian Nordheimer’s question on whether he was continuing to seek counsel.

Clearly it’s not perfect if it panders to a cretin like Chiheb.

"They don't represent Islam or Muslims in Britain or anywhere else in the world."

In other news, despite never having even visited the UK, I am announcing that Prime Minister David Cameron has nothing to do with the UK.

Also, despite not even being Christian, I would like to say that Cameron has nothing to do with the Church of England. Because that is apparently how things work in his universe.

I am sickened by the attack on the #Westgate shopping centre killing 3 British nationals. It's been done in the name of terror, not religion.

— David Cameron (@David_Cameron) September 22, 2013

Prime Minister David Cameron today condemned as “absolutely sickening” and “despicable” a terror attack on a shopping centre in the Kenyan capital Nairobi in which at least 59 people, including three British nationals, were killed.

“These appalling terrorist attacks that take place where the perpetrators claim they do it in the name of a religion – they don’t,” Cameron said.

He called it “an absolutely sickening and despicable attack of appalling brutality”.

“They do it in the name of terror, violence and extremism and their warped view of the world. They don’t represent Islam or Muslims in Britain or anywhere else in the world.”

Clearly they represent quite a few Muslims. Al-Shabaab has supporters in Somali diaspora communities around the world. One such community in Kenya was likely the source of at least some of the attackers.

Furthermore there are plenty of British Muslims in Al-Shabaab.

The Muslim attackers ordered Muslims to identify themselves, recite a prayer and then be excused from the massacre. Al-Shabaab repeatedly declared that they were acting in the name of Islam. Which is not surprising as they exist to impose an Islamic state.

Announcing that what happened in Kenya has nothing to do with Islam is a good deal like announcing that the USSR had nothing to do with Communism.

Cameron clumsily attempts to distinguish between terror and religion. But terror is a tactic. It can be carried out in the name of politics or religion or both.

Terror is not some isolated entity. Its goal is to achieve political ends by terrorizing people. Muslims rely on terrorism because it allows them to intimidate larger and more civilized societies and then force negotiations.

To deny this or to act as it there is some discontinuity between an ideology and the tactics used to carry it out, as if the two can exist apart from one another, is simply denial.

Muslims make up less than 5 percent of the UK, but 73 percent of terror convictions

Muslims make up less than 5 percent of the UK, but 73 percent of terror convictions leading to prison sentences.

The UK Home Office Data, released on 12th September 2013, some selected statistics for the period 2001 — 2012 in the United Kingdom

More than 57% of arrests for terrorism offences were Muslims. The figure is certainly more than 57% because there is an “unknown religion” category of 36%, which presumably includes some of the Islamic faith.

More than 73% of those sentenced to prison for terrorism were Muslims. Again, the figure is certainly higher as it includes an “unknown religion” category of 9%.

Unknown religion? A peaceful one no doubt.

Given that Muslims in the UK are 4.6% of the total (Pew Research), they’re certainly, as Rod Liddle says, “punching way above their weight”

Just imagine what those numbers will look like when they’re up to 10 percent. Also remember that the Muslim settler population in the UK increased some 74 percent since 2001.

That 4.6 percent is the final tally, but the statistics take place beginning at a time when the Muslim settler population was a fraction of that.

Before mosques were excluded from the otherwise wide domestic spy net the administration has cast, the FBI launched dozens of successful sting operations against homegrown jihadists

There is nothing wrong with law enforcement monitoring Muslim terrorists or potential Muslim terrorists. But unfortunately, as I wrote in the Dumb Police State, that’s not really the system we have.

Instead our system “spreads the pain” and specifically excludes Muslims from some of the same experiences to avoid “alienating” them and to win their cooperation.

And the results can often be schizophrenic.

Since October 2011, mosques have been off-limits to FBI agents. No more surveillance or undercover string operations without high-level approval from a special oversight body at the Justice Department dubbed the Sensitive Operations Review Committee.

Who makes up this body, and how do they decide requests? Nobody knows; the names of the chairman, members and staff are kept secret.

We do know the panel was set up under pressure from Islamist groups who complained about FBI stings at mosques. Just months before the panel’s formation, the Council on American-Islamic Relations teamed up with the ACLU to sue the FBI for allegedly violating the civil rights of Muslims in Los Angeles by hiring an undercover agent to infiltrate and monitor mosques there.

Before mosques were excluded from the otherwise wide domestic spy net the administration has cast, the FBI launched dozens of successful sting operations against homegrown jihadists — inside mosques — and disrupted dozens of plots against the homeland.

If only they were allowed to continue, perhaps the many victims of the Boston Marathon bombings would not have lost their lives and limbs. The FBI never canvassed Boston mosques until four days after the April 15 attacks, and it did not check out the radical Boston mosque where the Muslim bombers worshipped.

This is particularly disturbing in light of recent independent surveys of American mosques, which reveal some 80% of them preach violent jihad or distribute violent literature to worshippers.

We need enforcement and surveillance, but it needs to be smart and targeted surveillance. And that can only happen under leaders who stop apologizing for singling out members of an ideology responsible for our long war because of their beliefs.

We’re at war with an ideology. Singling out members of that ideology is the only rational way to fight that war.

"The holy warrior and Lebanese immigrant Rashid Al-Baz, the son of Islam who took action against the souls of the evil dregs of the Jews in Brooklyn in America."

Drive from Brooklyn to Manhattan and you’re likely to pass under a green sign that reads, “Ari Halberstam Memorial Ramp” just as you get off the Brooklyn Bridge. That was where Rashid Baz opened fire on a van of Jewish students, killing 16-year-old Ari Halberstam.

Baz was treated as another of those “lone wolf” attackers, with the incident initially dismissed as road rage. But the arrests of a cigarette smuggling gang in New York City have brought in Muaffaq Askar, Baz’s so-called Palestinian Uncle and the man that Ari Halberstam’s mother had long suspected of providing him with the weapons to carry out his massacre.

Devorah Halberstam, who fought to have her son’s murder on the Brooklyn Bridge designated an act of terrorism, is enraged that an accused cigarette smuggler was still on the streets, 19 years after her 16-year-old child, Ari, was fatally shot.

“He went with Rashid Baz to the mosque, before the shooting,” Halberstam said to PIX 11 of Muaffaq Askar, one of the accused smugglers. “Rashid Baz did not work alone! He didn’t get the guns alone.”

Rashid Baz, a Lebanese cab driver, was the only person convicted for the March 1, 1994 shooting on the Brooklyn Bridge. Baz admitted he used an Uzi submachine gun, a Glock, and a street sweeper to spray bullets at a white van carrying 15 yeshiva students, who had just visited a Manhattan hospital to pray for their ailing Grand Rebbe.

Ari Halberstam was immediately declared “brain dead.” Another student, Nachum Sosonkin, suffered serious brain injuries but survived.

As the Ari Halberstam memorial site notes, Hamas released a communique praising the attack.

“Ten days after the Brooklyn Bridge shooting, the Hamas movement in Gaza released a communique praising Rashid Baz’s attack on the van. With great pride the movement bestowed upon him the tile of mujabid , a holy warrior and Ibn Islam , a son of Islam, meaning one who serves as a role model and inspiration to others:

We will retain the cry of condemnation on your hearts and our hand is backed by millions of Muslim hands that are ready to carry out their execution role against Jews. Only Islam is the legitimate and exclusive representation of our people and its predicament; and the living proof of to this is namely the holy warrior and Lebanese immigrant Rashid Al-Baz, the son of Islam who took action against the souls of the evil dregs of the Jews in Brooklyn in America.

Another of the men arrested, Yousef Odeh, had ties to the World Trade Center bombing.

Odeh also had a business selling baby formula. And one of his investors in the 1990s was Omar Abdel Rahman, the Blind Sheikh convicted in the plot to bomb a number of New York City landmarks. Odeh also had personal and financial ties to Ahmed Abdel Sattar, who served as spokesman for the Blind Sheikh during the 1995 landmarks trial, and who had conveyed the Sheikh’s messages to his followers in Egypt and Afghanistan.

According to transcripts of his own 2004 trial, Sattar stated that he invested $10,000 of the Blind Sheikh’s money in Odeh’s baby formula business and was in phone contact with Odeh. In that trial, it was also alleged that Sattar used Odeh’s phone to receive sensitive calls from a fugitive leader of the extremist Egyptian Islamic Group shortly to discuss what threats they should make against the United States government in the wake of the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole. Sattar, who himself worked with Odeh in the baby formula business, was convicted in 2005 of conspiracy to kill and kidnap persons in a foreign country and for soliciting crimes of violence.

That it took this long to bring Odeh and Baz in is yet another reminder that smaller scale terrorist organization and finances often go ignored.

Initial acts of Muslim terror like the Halberstam shooting are dismissed as lone wolf attacks and not investigated any further, until those involved turn out to have deeper terror connections.

What bomb?" src="http://cdn.frontpagemag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/CCTV-Bangkok-explosion-010-450x270.jpg" width="450" height="270" />
Bomb? What bomb?

Poor Saeid Moradi. One morning he woke to find a bunch of bombs in his cupboard. Where did the bombs come from? He has no idea. But he tried to do his best to safely dispose of them by throwing one of them at police officers only to have them misunderstand his benevolent intentions.

I blame Islamophobia. Also Iran.

An Iranian man whose legs were blown off during an alleged botched bomb plot last year against Israeli diplomats in Bangkok said Friday he found the explosives and was trying to dispose of them safely when they detonated.

Saeid Moradi, 29, told a Bangkok court that he was about to leave Thailand when he found four bombs hidden inside radios in a cupboard at a rented house in the city.

That happens a lot to unfortunate people who find bombs, kilos of cocaine and corpses in trash bags just as they’re about to leave the country.

Moradi said he accidentally triggered one of the bombs when he opened a cupboard in the apartment. “I was stunned and threw it into the corner, believing it was a smoke bomb,” the wheelchair-bound suspect said via a translator, adding he grabbed two other bombs and ran outside to throw them into a nearby canal.

Prosecutors accuse Moradi of hurling one bomb at a taxi and a second at two police officers as they approached him on the street, but it instead detonated near the suspect.

The defendant gave a different version of events saying he dropped one of the devices near the taxi by mistake, and tried to throw the other away as the policemen approached fearing it would detonate and hurt them.

“I knew if the police stopped me I’d have to drop the bomb which may have endangered them and people nearby.

“So I threw it about a metre in front of me,” he said, adding he blacked out and woke up at hospital later to find his legs had been torn off in the blast.

It’s sad how Islamophobic Thailand has become. Don’t they understand that Moradi was trying to protect them by throwing a bomb at them?

And in entirely unrelated news…

Moradi and Mohammad Khazaei, 42, are among five Iranians suspected of involvement in the February 2012 blasts that followed attacks in India and Georgia and saw Tehran accused by Israel of a terror campaign.

“All of those conclusions were taken out based on the Criminal Code and we all know that this Criminal Code is not a holy book,” said Esseghaier

Muslim rail-plotter Chiheb Esseghaier just wants a little Sharia law. It’s why he plotted to attack a train. So it figures that the lack of a Thou Shalt Not Kill Infidels clause in the Koran figures prominently in his defense.

Chiheb Esseghaier, 30, on Wednesday ignored Justice of the Peace Susan Hilton’s caution to “be careful what you say,” because his words could be used against him in future proceedings.

Instead of remaining silent, Esseghaier, listed as living at no fixed address in Montreal, embarked on a two-minute tirade on the Criminal Code and the serious charges he faces.

“All of those conclusions were taken out based on the Criminal Code and we all know that this Criminal Code is not a holy book,” said Esseghaier, who was busted in Montreal’s Central Station Monday near the Via terminus.

“It’s just written by a set of creatures and the creatures, they’re not perfect because only the Creator is perfect, so if we are basing our judgment … we cannot rely on the conclusions taken out from these judgments,” he said.

And if the Canadian criminal code were more perfect like the Koran, then they would include operating instructions exempting Canadians from being charged with murder for killing non-Canadians in the pursuit of imposing Canadian law on all mankind.

But sadly Canadians lack this sort of tolerant perfect legal system that Muslims enjoy and misunderstand the Islamic zeal for killing people in order to impose the perfect laws that allow them to kill people in order to impose laws.

If this sounds a bit circular, that’s just because you don’t appreciate the full majesty of being ruled by an old blind man whose only skills are memorizing the Koran and getting high positions for his brothers-in-law and sending out his third sons to get their degrees in America and Canada while plotting mass murder in order to perpetuate this whole lovely system.

It’s such a shame Canada isn’t more like Islam. Then a third of the world would be Canadian, illiterate and involved in wars with everyone else.

Toward the end of last year, two Pakistani men were arrested after scouting targets in New York City for a bomb plot. Their emphasis was on areas with large crowds and street traffic.

Mr. [Raees] Qazi said in his post-arrest statement that he was riding around on his bike in New York City looking for targets but he never specifically picked one,” FBI Special Agent Kristine Holden testified in federal court in Fort Lauderdale.

The younger Qazi also tried to determine how big the crowds were in Times Square, on Wall Street and at theaters in the city, the agent said.

The prosecutors said he was motivated by the lectures of the late radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed by a drone strike in Yemen, and by Inspire magazine. The online magazine is produced by the terror group al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and it has carried articles on how to make bombs.

Last year, Inspire Magazine suggested targeting large crowds including market-places, sporting and social events.

Writing in the online magazine of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Inspire, the terrorist known as Abu Musab al-Suri listed what he called “the most important enemy targets.”

This is done by targeting human crowds in order to inflict maximum human losses,” he wrote. “This is very easy since there are numerous such targets such as crowded sports arenas, annual social events, large international exhibitions, crowded market-places, skyscrapers, crowded buildings … etc.”

“It is possible for ordinary Resistance fighters among the Muslims residing in America and the allied Western countries to target them, in order to participate in the jihad and the Resistance, and to stretch out a helping hand to the mujahidun [Islamic warriors].”

It is likely that the Qazis got their idea from Inspire and the Times Square Bomber. While we still don’t know exactly who was responsible for the Marathon Massacre, it does fit the trajectory of Al Qaeda terrorist plots.

Let’s lay out a hypothetical scenario. An American walks into a mosque during Ramadan, opens fire while quoting Bible passages and then leaves behind a Bible.

On a scale of 1 to non-stop coverage, how often do you think you would be hearing about it, how fast would religious motives be attached to it and how quickly would we learn that the bible was left behind?

But the same rules don’t apply to Islam. Muslims are designated victims. And they may act like oppressors, but that just means the story gets buried. So only now do we learn that a Muslim who opened fire in a church on Easter left behind a small present.

Police found Reshad Riddle inside the church, standing at the podium. “He had the gun in the air,” Janek said. “He had several knives on him … we later discovered the Koran on the podium.”

The second witness, Patrolman Thomas Clemens, said he was called to the church Easter Sunday for “a subject in the church waving a handgun.”

Upon arrival, he saw several people running from the church and several people crawling out the narrow windows.

“I pulled two children out of a window,” he said.

“He admitted he used a Smith and Wesson .38 Special,” Clemens said. “He referred to the Koran and Allah, quoting passages.”

Upon cross-examination, Humpolick pushed for more details on Riddle’s statements.

Clemens said he wasn’t familiar with the Koran, but remembered Riddle had said he had “served his purpose.”

The media has done its best to bury the story. Plenty of headlines read, “Man Yells About God After Church Shooting” which gives a completely false picture of events.

Reshad Riddle did not yell about God. He yelled about Allah. And the media’s trend of using God in place of Allah is done to hide the meaning of scenes like these.

“Associate Pastor Sean Adams told The (Ashtabula) Star Beacon newspaper that Reshad Riddle walked through the church, still holding the gun, and yelled that the killing was “the will of Allah. This is the will of God.

But of course there’s still no motive. After decades of Muslims killing Americans in the name of Allah, there’s just no motive. Instead we’re going back to psychiatric disturbance. Maybe Reshad, like Nidal Hasan, contacted PTSD in the air.

Too bad we can't in any way predict the likelihood of one individual turning terrorist over another. Well we can, but we aren't going to because that would just alienate Muslims and lead to terrorist attacks against us... like this attack.

If the UK and the US had more sanity and less political correctness when it comes to Islam, this sort of thing could be nipped in the bud.

A member of the Afghan National Army in Helmand said the attacker – shot dead after opening fire – was from Laghman Province, in the east of the country and had joined the Afghan army a year ago.

“He was well-known as being religious and would lead prayers, acting as an imam,” said the soldier, speaking on condition of anonymity.

In a sane framework, being a very religious wannabe Imam would ring some alarm bells, especially after numerous insider attacks have taken place. But in the imaginary rainbow kingdom of political correctness, being very religious is just great until the first cries of Allah Akbar are followed by bullets.

“An individual wearing an Afghan National Army uniform turned his weapon against International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) service members in southern Afghanistan yesterday, killing one,” is how Isaf, the Nato force described the killing in a statement on Tuesday.

Too bad we can’t in any way predict the likelihood of one individual turning terrorist over another. Well we can, but we aren’t going to because that would just alienate Muslims and lead to terrorist attacks against us… like this attack.

In the last 40 years, five US ambassadors were killed in the line of duty. 4 out of 5 were killed by Muslims from Afghanistan to Sudan to Lebanon to Libya.

It’s this odd phenomenon involving the Religion of Peace.

In the last 40 years, five US ambassadors were killed in the line of duty. 4 out of 5 were killed by Muslims.

Adolph “Spike” Dubs was murdered in Afghanistan in 1979 during an attempted Soviet rescue around the time that the puppet regime had gone to hell.

Francis E. Meloy Jr was kidnapped and murdered by the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon.

Cleo A. Noel Jr was murdered by the Palestinian Arab terrorist group Black September in Sudan at the Saudi Embassy in an attack that has some parallels with Benghazi. And the killers behind the attack were released to Egypt. Most were never seen again.

Rodger P. Davies was killed in Cyprus during tensions over the Turkish Muslim occupation and settlement of the area during a protest by Greek nationalists angry at President Ford’s collaboration in the Turkish invasion of Cyprus. It has generally been alleged that the gunman who killed Davies was Greek, but no conviction was ever secured and it may be that the real killer was a Turkish military sniper whose goal was to boost US support for the Turkish invasion.

The fifth was Christopher Stevens. It is telling that four out of five US ambassadors murdered in the last 40 years in the line of duty were killed by Muslims. And the fifth remains an open question.
