Islamic child sacrifice reaches grisly new low in Pakistan.

The mind-numbing savagery of radical Islam plumbed new depths in Pakistan yesterday. Taliban terrorists shouting “Allahu akbar” attacked the Army Public School and Degree College in Peshawar, slaughtering 142 people, including 132 children between the ages of six and 16. Another 10 staff members, including the principal, were also murdered. “They didn’t take any hostages initially and started firing in the hall,” said Maj. Gen. Asim Bajwa, a military spokesman.

The details of the slaughter are horrific. “We were in the education hall when militants barged in, shooting,” said Zeeshan, a student, speaking at a hospital. “Our instructor asked us to duck and lay down and then I saw militants walking past rows of students shooting them in the head.” Another student confirmed those shootings. “The gunmen entered class by class and shot some kids one by one,” he told local media. Jamshed Khan, a school bus driver, also described the scene. “We were standing outside the school and firing suddenly started and there was chaos everywhere and the screams of children and teachers,” he said.

According to the International Business Times, the Taliban monsters allegedly stooped even lower to satisfy their bloodlust. “They burnt a teacher in front of the students in a classroom,” an unnamed military source revealed. “They literally set the teacher on fire with gasoline and made the kids watch.” Moreover, Pakistani officials revealed that many of the dead children brought to the hospital had their heads chopped off.

The assault began around 11 a.m. local time (1 a.m. EST) when seven terrorists wearing police uniforms and suicide vests scaled the wall of the school. They immediately began lobbing hand grenades and shooting indiscriminately at a time when approximately 1,000 of the school’s 2,500 male and female students in grades one through 10 were in attendance. The siege lasted more than eight hours, with Pakistani security forces forced to deal with five “heavy” explosions heard around 5 a.m. EST, in a seeming attempt to hinder rescue efforts. All seven attackers were ultimately killed, with the Daily News reporting that once they were finally cornered by Pakistani commandos “they blew themselves up rather than surrender.” A sweep of the compound for additional explosives was subsequently undertaken.

An unnamed security official illuminated the one and only objective of these savage thugs. “These attackers were not in the mood to take hostages,” he said. “They were there to kill and this is what they did.”

The killers were part of the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) group, a Pakistani terrorist organization attempting to over throw the Pakistani government, and the same group to which wannabe 2010 Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad belonged. TTP spokesman Mohammed Khurasani told the Karachi-based Express Tribune the attack was an act of revenge. “We selected the army’s school for the attack because the government is targeting our families and females,” he said, referring to Pakistan’s ongoing military offensive taking place on the Afghan border. “We want them to feel the pain.”

Gen. Bajwa confirmed that almost all of the children killed belonged to members of the Pakistani military. Army chief of staff General Raheel Sharif called the killers “inhuman beasts.” Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who arrived in Peshawar where authorities have declared a three-day mourning period, promised certain reprisal. “Those behind the heinous act will not be spared,” he vowed.

Sharif also announced a meeting of all government parties scheduled for today. Its comes amidst political turbulence orchestrated by opposition leader Imran Khan whose political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), controls the provincial government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Khan has led a series of protests in a effort to unseat Sharif, because he believes the Prime Minister’s supporters rigged the 2013 election, and because he disagrees with the army’s ongoing effort against terrorists in tribal areas. That effort, known as Operation Zarb-e-Azb, has killed approximately 1,800 terrorists operating in North Waziristan, an epicenter of Taliban terrorist activity. And while public support for that campaign has been described as “lukewarm,” due to what by government policy-makers attribute to “lack of consensus” and “large pockets of sympathy” for terrorists, Khan’s belief the government should negotiate with the terrorists instead of fighting them has garnered considerable criticism.

Unfortunately, he is not alone in that regard. The same day President Obama insisted the Taliban had “once again shown their depravity,” Breitbart News revealed a statement made in 2012 by Obama at Bagram Airfield Base, home of the U.S. Air Forces Central Command in Afghanistan. “We’re pursuing a negotiated peace. In coordination with the Afghan government my administration has been in direct discussions with the Taliban … Many members of the Taliban, from foot soldiers to leaders, have indicated an interest in reconciliation,” he said at the time.

The BBC wonders whether this heinous attack will constitute a “watershed” moment for the Pakistani government. Americans might be forgiven for wondering the same thing with regard to the Obama administration.

Other world leaders issued forceful condemnations of the slaughter. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon referred to it as “an act of horror and rank cowardice.” British Prime Minister David Cameron characterized it as “deeply shocking,” adding that it was “horrifying that children are being killed simply for going to school.” Indian prime minister Narendra Modi called it “cowardly,” and a “senseless act of unspeakable brutality that has claimed lives of the most innocent of human beings–young children in their school.”

Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, the young girl shot in the head by would-be Taliban assassins in 2012 when she was only 15, also added her voice to the mix. “Innocent children in their school have no place in horror such as this,” she said in a statement. “I, along with millions of others around the world, mourn these children, my brothers and sisters — but we will never be defeated.”

Pakistan has already responded to the tragedy. Gen. Shariff tweeted that “massive air strikes” had been carried out in the Khyber region of the country, and Sharif insisted that Operation Zarb-e-Azb “will continue until the terrorism is rooted out from our land.” The latest attack is part of a bloody track record in a nation where 50,000 people have been killed by terrorist violence in the past 13 years.

Devastated parent Tahir Ali expressed the grief undoubtedly shared by every parent victimized by this brutality. “My son was in uniform in the morning, he is in a casket now,” Ali said. “My son was my dream. My dream has been killed.”

One would hope the world’s denial about radical Islam, pockmarked by occasional outbursts of horror whenever the next atrocity occurs, will suffer the same fate. We are two days removed from the attack in Sydney, one of many where the mainstream media and feckless politicians seek the false comfort of the “lone wolf” theory that amounts to nothing more than a willful refusal to connect the dots.

An Obama administration that refers to the war on terror as “an overseas contingency operation” and applauds the conclusions of a one-sided report denigrating the CIA, hardly inspires confidence that the status quo will change. Thus, the only question is when the next horrific atrocity will occur. Should Americans have confidence that it won’t be in their own shopping malls, train stations, airports and city squares? The answer is a clear “no.”

In the recent Taliban terror attack against a school in Peshawar, Pakistan, Islamic terrorists killed more than 130 children. The atrocities include the beheading of children and the Taliban dousing a teacher with gasoline, burning her alive in front of her students who were forced to watch.

The horrifying nature of this latest Taliban atrocity serves as yet another reminder of infanticide and child sacrifice being key ingredients of Islamic terror. The long and grotesque record of Hamas’ and Arafat’s child-killing machines serves as a morbid testament to that phenomenon.

To shed light on why Islamic Jihadists target children, Frontpage is running The Glazov Gang’s special two-part series with Dr. Anna Geifman, the author of Death Orders and one of the world’s leading experts on child-sacrifice by death cultures.

In this special series, Dr. Geifman delivers a profound analysis on Hamas and Terrorists’ Child Sacrifice, explaining why Islamic terrorists — and totalitarians in general — target children. Though her main focus is on Hamas as well as on Soviet terror, her analysis gives us a profound insight into the infrastructure of the Taliban mind and how its savagery against children in a Pakistani school satiates its yearnings.

Dr. Geifman’s research unveils the true nature not only of the Islamic death culture, but of all death cultures, and explains why they sacrifice their enemy’s children — as well as their own.

It’s Pakistan. I’m just surprised that they haven’t given him a medal or elected him to higher office.

A suspected Islamic militant was charged in Pakistan with plotting to abduct Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was killed after his 2002 kidnapping in Karachi.

The suspect, Mohammed Hashim Qadeer, could be sentenced to death if convicted, a top police investigator said.

Qadeer is suspected of arranging the first meeting between Pearl and his abductors.

That was back in 2005. It took a while to extradite him and long to try him, but after a decade after the original killing, Mohammed is a free man.

A Pakistan anti-terrorism court has acquitted a co-accused in the 2002 murder of US journalist Daniel Pearl due to a lack of evidence, lawyers said on Friday.

Qari Hashim was arrested in 2005, three years after the main accused were convicted for the abduction and beheading of Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter.

The prosecution had no “valid witness in proving the role of my client in the Pearl case”, defense lawyer Sher Mohammad Leghari said.

Mohammeds gotta stick together. Mo’s before infidels. If only Mohammed had done something genuinely serious, like being a Christian woman who was accused of blasphemy, he would have been taken care of by now.

And the third country, Cameroon, is one fifth Muslim.

While India goes to Mars, Pakistan is leading the world in polio. It’s also one of three countries that are exporting polio to the rest of the world.

By Tuesday, the number of new polio cases in Pakistan stood at 202, and officials are bracing for potentially dozens of other cases by year’s end. Pakistan now accounts for 80 percent of global cases and is one of only three countries at risk of exporting the disease outside its borders, according to the World Health Organization.

80 percent. Pakistan is number one. The other Muslim country exporting polio is Syria.

Three of the 10 nations known to have polio have exported the virus outside their borders: Pakistan to Afghanistan, Cameroon to Equatorial Guinea, and Syria to Iraq.

Pakistan and Syria also exported Muslim terrorism to Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s only appropriate that they would also export polio.

WHO tried to impose travel restrictions on Pakistan, Syria and Cameroon.

Under the new recommendations, which are not legally binding but carry tremendous weight, the three countries deemed to pose the greatest risk of further spread—Pakistan, Cameroon, and Syria—must now ensure that all residents and long-term visitors have proof of recent polio vaccination before leaving the country. WHO is also encouraging the seven other nations known to have polio infections to implement similar measures.

Good luck with that. Meanwhile the West needs to act to impose restrictions on Pakistani settlers bringing terror and polio with them.

Then when those Pakistani men move to the UK, they carry those same attitudes with them and the whole thing is buried deep in a bunch of file folders and the perps are described as “Asian”. (via Religion of Peace)

Sexual abuse in Pakistan is rife. An estimated four million children in the country are forced into work from an early age due to poverty and of those, more than a million live on the streets where they are easy prey for men like Ijaz.

A recent survey of 1,800 men found that a third believe that not only is raping little boys not a crime, it’s not even a bad thing to do.

As a result, an estimated 90 per cent of street children have been victims of sexual abuse at some point in their lives…

For now, boys like Naeem continue to fall victim to predatory paedophiles like serial rapist Ijaz, a man who claims to want a ‘good woman’ for a wife one day and children of his own.

‘I’m going to look for a good wife who’s read the Quran and prays,’ he says. ‘A good, respectable woman. Religion is very important because I’m Muslim.’

The Taliban, devout Muslims that they are, still had their dancing boys. The current UK investigation has focused on Muslim sex gangs targeting young girls. I suspect the situation with young boys is just as bad.

"The biggest failure of our intelligence gathering agencies in the past 10 years."

Obama and the media are acting as if the pace of Iran’s nuclear program is a known element that can be predicted with a fine degree of accuracy so that we can intervene in the exact second before Iran goes nuclear.

But it doesn’t work that way.

US estimates on when a country goes nuclear have always been off and they’ve erred on the generous side. Here are some examples.

Six weeks before the Soviets tested their first bomb in August 1949, U.S. intelligence confidently assessed that a Russian test was at least two years away.

Fifty years ago, the CIA produced a Special National Intelligence Estimate (SNIE) on China’s nuclear weapons program for President Lyndon Johnson.

In conclusion, the SNIE reads, the available facts “do not permit a very confident estimate of the chances of a Chinese Communist nuclear detonation in the next few months. Clearly the possibility of such a detonation before the end of the year cannot be ruled out—the test may occur during this period. On balance, however, we believe that it will not occur until sometime after the end of 1964.”

Seven weeks later, China tested its first nuclear bomb on October 16, 1964, a highly enriched uranium implosion device.

Most recently, the Bush Administration was blindsided by Israeli intelligence showing the existence of a Syrian plutonium reactor.

And let’s not forget this triumph of nuclear intelligence.

The Republican chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence alleged Wednesday that U.S. intelligence gathering suffered a “colossal failure” in not detecting India’s intention to set off underground nuclear tests this week.

Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama said the U.S. intelligence community was caught completely off guard. “Something went wrong,” he told CNN in a live interview. “It was a colossal failure of U.S. intelligence.”

The inability to detect India’s intentions is “the biggest failure of our intelligence gathering agencies in the past 10 years or more,” he said. “Somebody is responsible for this.”

The CIA announced on Tuesday it was launching a blue-ribbon assessment of U.S. intelligence performance on the India nuclear issue

So no, we can’t actually know anything. The French, the Brits and the Israelis will have better intel, but theirs won’t be perfect either. Iran’s nuclear program has gotten too big and its military-industrial complex is too complicated.

The fake nuclear negotiations are an attempt by Iran to buy time. It knows that if the threshold is clear and obvious, even the West might be pressured into an air strike, to protect Gulf oil supplies rather than Israel, so it’s going to go nuclear ahead of schedule and ahead of estimates. It has a plan for doing so. The rest is details.

In the former nation, a 25-year-old pregnant woman has been stoned to death by members of her own family, with her father dubbing the atrocity an “honor killing.” In the latter nation, a 27-year-old woman has been sentenced to death for refusing to renounce her Christian faith. She was also pregnant, and has given birth while awaiting her sentence to be carried out. The common thread in both cases is as predictable as it is disturbing: the religion of Islam and the endemic mistreatment of women practiced by far too many of its followers.

Farzana Parveen was killed in broad daylight by nearly 20 members of her family before a crowd of onlookers outside the High Court in the eastern city of Lahore, Pakistan. As she walked up to the court’s main gate with her husband Mohammad Iqbal, relatives waiting for the couple’s arrival fired shots in the air and attempted to snatch her away. When she resisted, the attackers, who included her father, two brothers and her former fiancé, started beating her and her husband, before escalating the attack with bricks obtained from a nearby construction site.

Parveen subsequently sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police.

All of the attackers but her father, Mohammad Azeem, escaped. He surrendered to the police and admitted taking part in the killing. He had no remorse. “I killed my daughter as she had insulted all of our family by marrying a man without our consent, and I have no regret over it,” the father was quoted as saying by police investigator Rana Mujahid.

Parveen had been engaged to her cousin, but married Iqbal instead, following an engagement of several years. In response, her family registered an abduction case against Iqbal, and Parzeen was to appear in court to argue that she had married him of her own free will, according to her lawyer Mustafa Kharal. Arranged marriages are the norm among conservative Pakistanis. Marrying for love is a transgression that ostensibly dishonors the family.

Iqbal, who started seeing Parveen following the death of his former wife with whom he had five children, claimed the couple was “in love.” He further alleged that her family wanted to extract money from him before allowing the marriage to take place. Instead, “I simply took her to court and registered a marriage,” Iqbal explained.

Parveen’s murder is hardly an anomaly. According to Pakistani rights group the Aurat Foundation, as many as 1,000 Pakistani women are killed every year by their families in such honor killings. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan released a report last month revealing that 869 women were murdered in honor killings in 2013, but the Aurat Foundation insists the number could be far higher because the totals are based solely on newspaper reports. The Pakistani government does not compile any honor killing statistics.

Despite that ongoing reality, Zia Awan, a prominent lawyer and human rights activist, expressed shock at the brutal and public nature of the crime. “I have not heard of any such case in which a woman was stoned to death, and the most shameful and worrying thing is that this woman was killed in front of a court,” he said. He further noted that those who commit such violence against women are either acquitted outright, or handed light sentences, due to inadequate police work and improperly handled prosecutions. Even those convicted may eventually walk free as Pakistani law permits a victim’s family to forgive the victim’s killer.

Even more appalling, though most honor killings are committed by family members, they can instead nominate someone else to commit the murder–and subsequently forgive him. “This is a huge flaw in the law,” said the Aurat Foundation’s Wasim Wagha. “We are really struggling on this issue.”

In Sudan, the law has produced an equally despicable outcome. Yesterday, Meriam Yehya Ibrahim gave birth to a baby girl in the hospital wing of a prison in Omdurman, where she awaits execution for refusing to renounce her Christian faith and embrace Islam. Ibrahim, who has been imprisoned since February has her 20-month old son with her as well.

The 27-year-old doctor had a Muslim father, but was raised as a Christian by her mother. On May 11, a court in Khartoum convicted Ibrahim, who was eight months pregnant at the time, of apostasy and adultery and sentenced her to death by hanging. The verdict was reached after she refused to renounce her Christianity during a three-day “grace period.” In addition, the court annulled her marriage and sentenced her to receive 100 lashes for the crime of “zena” (Arabic for illegitimate sex) because she had sexual relations with a “non-Muslim man” who happens to be her husband Daniel Wani. Wani, who is an American citizen, told Fox News his wife would not convert, and spends her time “shackled” in prison with her son.

Her daughter has now joined them.

And once again, as in the case of Farzana Parveen, Ibrahim’s family is part of the equation. She was arrested in August of 2013 when men claiming to be from her father’s side of the family charged her with adultery. They claimed her real name was Abrar al-Hady, according to the Khartoum-based al-Taghyeer newspaper, who cited their lawyer, Abdel Rahman Malek. Malek claimed they presented a Sudanese nationality document to the court with both that name and her fingerprints. The complaint further alleged she had been missing for several years and her family was shocked to discover she had married a Christian. Under Sudan’s version of Sharia Law, any marriage of a Muslim woman to a non-Muslim man constitutes adultery. The apostasy charge was added in February 2014.

Wani claimed he never met anyone from her family because Ibrahim’s mother was an Ethiopian refugee who had no relatives in Sudan. He was introduced to his wife by his sister who attended the same church. “She was never a Muslim, she was always a Christian,” Ali said. “And even if she renounced Islam, she should not be punished for that.” Wani, who has been unable to see his new daughter despite making a request to prison authorities, illuminated his hope for the future. “We call on the world to ask the Sudanese government to drop the verdict and just let us live our normal lives,” he said.

That is not likely at this juncture. Sudanese officials have refused to allow Wani to take his son because the law forbids a Christian man from raising a Muslim child, as the court has so designated him. According to Amnesty International, the law also requires the postponement of Ibrahim’s execution until she has raised her newborn child for at least two years. Moreover, on May 18, the judiciary asserted that Ibrahim “enjoyed all the necessary requirements for a fair trial as a constitutional right,” according to a statement published by Suna, the state news agency.

In a twist to the story, the Daily Mail is reporting that lawyers hired by the US-based human rights organization Justice Centre Sudan have alleged that Ibrahim’s “half brother and half sister” tracked her down so they could take over her successful general store. “We believe the family filed the lawsuit because they want to gain control of the business. If Meriam stays in jail she could lose everything and they could be the ones to benefit,” said a spokesman for the organization.

All well and good in terms of sensationalism, but it doesn’t negate the reality that Sharia Law is the vehicle that has enabled the outrage that has a mother and her two children languishing in prison—until such time as Meriam Ibrahim is beaten and hanged.

Thus the ongoing and very real war against women in the Muslim world continues. It is a war largely ignored by the American left and their feminist cohorts, who have managed to largely ignore the real and present danger of Sharia Law. It is Sharia Law that relegates millions of women to second-class status at best–and honor killings, whippings and the hangman’s noose at worst. That the left’s so-called war against women extends only as far as the nearest member of the GOP and his or her position on abortion is myopic. So myopic that someone like Ayaan Hirsi Ali must be stripped of an honorary degree by Brandeis University, lest she use her acceptance speech to remind her audience where the most virulent aspects of the war against women originate. Islam is the tip of the spear, and no amount of politically calculated obfuscation by the American left will alter that reality.

It won’t be long before Glenn Greenwald and Noami Wolf jump on this. And just think of all the Veterans Today and RT pieces which “prove” that polio in Pakistan isn’t caused by the refusal of vaccines… but by drones. Then Rand Paul can filibuster the polio drones and demand to know whether drones are spreading polio in the US.

The possibilities are endless.

During a debate on the issue in the National Assembly, Jamiat-e-Ulema-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) lawmaker Maulana Jamaluddin blamed the US drone campaign for the presence of polio in the country. He called on the government to divert its attention and resources to investigate the link between polio and the unmanned aircraft that hover over the tribal belt of Pakistan.

“They [US] kill us through drones and also spread polio,” Jamaluddin said. He, however, himself did not give any substantial proof to back his claims.

Jamiat-e-Ulema-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) is the 5th largest party and part of a large Islamic bloc, the Assembly of Islamic Clergy, that is part of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League.

JUI-F is run by Fazal-ur-Rehman, a cleric and supporter of the Taliban. The Taliban are not big fans of the polio vaccine. Maulana Jamaluddin has urged negotiations with the Taliban.

“soon after the Navy SEAL raid on Bin Laden’s house, a Pakistani official told me that the United States had direct evidence that the ISI chief, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha, knew of Bin Laden’s presence in Abbottabad. The information came from a senior United States official, and I guessed that the Americans had intercepted a phone call of Pasha’s or one about him in the days after the raid. ‘He knew of Osama’s whereabouts, yes,’ the Pakistani official told me. The official was surprised to learn this and said the Americans were even more so.”

He shouldn’t have been. It has been obvious for years that the Pakistanis have been aiding the same jihadists that the U.S. government has been giving them billions of dollars to fight. The New York Times reported on that at length back in 2008. And now we learn that not only did Ahmed Shuja Pasha, the head of the Pakistani government’s spy service, knew the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden, but also that so did many other top officials in the Pakistani government.

Those who are genuinely surprised by this news probably also think that Islam is a Religion of Peace that has been hijacked by a Tiny Minority of Extremists. After all, this is the country where the jihad terror leader Hafiz Saeed, on whom the U.S. has placed a $10 million bounty, lives openly and comfortably. International Business Times reported in early March that Saeed “lives as a free man in Lahore,” even though he is “chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JUD), a parent organisation of banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET). The organization was implicated in the 2008 attacks on Mumbai in India, which claimed 166 lives.” Not only that, but “Pakistan had twice placed Saeed under house arrest since 2001, but had let him go under suspicious circumstances.” And today, “JUD operates quite visibly in parts of Pakistan, with its own website and a twitter page.”

Meanwhile, Sky News reported in January that “Pakistani officials have reportedly used a secret counter-terrorism fund to buy wedding gifts, luxury carpets and gold jewellery for relatives of ministers and visiting dignitaries.” This is better than funneling to the terrorists themselves the money that the Pakistani government received from the U.S. to fight terror, but it shows how seriously the Pakistani authorities have taken their role in the “war on terror”: not seriously at all.

But they do take some things very seriously indeed. Last November, after Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud was killed in a drone strike, the Pakistani government was furious, and summoned the U.S. ambassador to protest. The Pakistani foreign minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, said the killing of Mehsud was “not just the killing of one person, it’s the death of all peace efforts” and warned that “every aspect” of Pakistan’s relationship with Washington would be reexamined.

And last summer, Pakistan’s Abbottabad Commission, which was an investigation into the U.S. raid that killed bin Laden, denounced the United States as “arrogant” and said that the killing of bin Laden was the “greatest humiliation” that Pakistan had suffered since the 1971 declaration of independence by East Pakistan (now Bangladesh).

None of this should be a surprise to anyone. Last summer the Associated Press reported of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that “critics worry that Sharif, who is known to be personally very religious, is soft on Islamic extremism and won’t crack down on militants that pose a serious threat to Pakistan and other countries — chief among them the Taliban and al-Qaida-linked groups.”

But he has shown that he knows how to keep the gravy train flowing from Washington. Despite all the evidence above and much more that Pakistan is not a reliable U.S. ally and not even really an ally at all, last November the U.S. and Pakistan agreed to continue their “counter-terrorism co-operation” even after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. A joint statement declared:

“Affirming their mutual commitment to a strong defence relationship, the delegations agreed that Pakistan-US defence partnership is vital to regional and international security and that it should continue to endure and grow in the years ahead. Both delegations welcomed continued efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation based on mutual interests and trust.”

Mutual interests? Trust?

The U.S. government is in dire need of an intervention: its friends need to get it to seek professional help for its addiction to shoveling huge amounts of money to old Cold War allies that aren’t really allies at all. The problem is that the only friends who could stage such an orchestrated effort are just as far gone themselves.

Newly-declassified documents reveal that the FBI privately considers ul-Fuqra to be a terrorist group, but remains operational in the U.S. because of the State Department.

The “Islamic villages” belong to Muslims of the Americas, an extension of Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani’s Jamaat ul-Fuqra terrorist group. Its headquarters is “Islamberg” in Hancock, N.Y and two of the group’s seized videotapes prove that these sites are used for guerilla warfare training. One recording shows women at Islamberg in military fatigue receiving such instructions.

The FBI files released by Clarion confirm that the most loyal MOA members go to Pakistan for advanced religious and terrorist training under Sheikh Gilani. This travel is apparently done through an MOA entity named the American Muslim Medical Relief Team. The website has photos of members in Kashmir. The MOA has also posted videos of members working at “Gillaniville” under Gilani’s watch.

Last week, The Blaze aired a blockbuster half-hour episode of “For the Record” titled “Sleeper Cell” about Jamaat ul-Fuqra featuring the documents obtained by Clarion. The discovery of the camp near the town of Sweeny in Brazoria County, Texas was covered on “Fox and Friends” and the Fox News website. Media Matters immediately responded with a hit piece describing me as “anti-Muslim” that was then distributed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The Texas enclave has existed since the late 1980s, according to locals interviewed by ACT For America Houston. The FBI documents show that the Bureau discovered it following a tip from an informant in New York and detected the movement of trailers to the site in December 2001.

The site is referred to as “Mahmoudberg” by MOA members. In 2010, an MOA entity named the American Muslim Ladies Club established a Texas chapter at the enclave.

A 2007 FBI document says that the enclave hosts a former leader of the 440-acre “Baladullah” commune in California that was shut down and had armed guards, U-Haul dealership and even an airstrip. Its founder was convicted in 2006 of overseeing a charter school scam at the commune. Other members of Baladullah were arrested for illegal weapons trafficking and murdering a police officer.

One of the most interesting revelations from the Clarion Project report is that a shooting incident at Mahmoudberg took the life of one resident. It was ruled an accident by the police. However, the police were denied access to the trailers and were not allowed to directly interview the women, who covered their faces in the presence of the cops.

The report is a fatal blow to the MOA’s campaign to revamp its image. For example, it established the United Muslim Christian Forum. I attended one of their events and was told by one of the commune leaders that the group was trying “not to get into the bashing business anymore” because “we’re finding that certain things are a little bit too offensive.” He said the group stands by its past statements.

The Texas enclave is also linked to the MOA’s interfaith front. I was given videotape of a United Muslim Christian Forum event in 2009 that featured then-Binghamton Mayor Matthew T. Ryan as a speaker. The Master of Ceremonies was Idris Johnson, the registered agent for a MOA front on Mahmoudberg’s premises called the Muslim Model Community.

Johnson was also arrested for interfering with public duties on February 28, 2013. So was Nuh Abdullah and Muhammed Nurriddine was charged with reckless driving.

Almost every communication I received in response to the Clarion report and coverage on The Blaze and FOX News Channel asked how Jamaat ul-Fuqra/Muslims of the Americas is able to operate in the U.S. if the FBI’s own documents identify it as a terrorist threat.

The answer is the State Department has not designated Jamaat ul-Fuqra as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, though it was included in reports about domestic groups in the 1990s. On January 31, 2002, the State Department said:

“Jamaat ul-Fuqra has never been designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. It was included in several recent annual terrorism reports under “other terrorist groups,” i.e., groups that had carried out acts of terrorism but that were not formally designated by the Secretary of State. However, because of the group’s inactivity during 2000, it was not included in the most recent terrorism report covering that calendar year.”

The State Department’s own standards require it to label ul-Fuqra as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. The three criteria are that the group must be foreign; engaging in terrorist activity or retain the capability and intent to engage in terrorism and it must threaten U.S. nationals or national security.

The newly-released FBI documents blow away any argument the State Department could use to defend its negligence. Two smoking gun quotes from a 2007 file are as clear as can be:

“The MOA is now an autonomous organization which possesses an infrastructure capable of planning and mounting terrorist campaigns overseas and within the U.S.”

“The documented propensity for violence by this organization supports the belief the leadership of the MOA extols membership to pursue a policy of jihad or holy war against individuals or groups it considers enemies of Islam, which includes the U.S. Government.”

Responsible reporters must relentlessly demand answers from the State Department in the wake of these new revelations.

The Institute on Religion and Democracy contributed to this article.

Not a path to defeat, but a path to victory.

There are two ways of looking at Osama bin Laden’s death. One is to see his end surrounded by wives, pornography and unanswered messages to Al Qaeda leaders who were no longer taking orders from him as the fall of the leader of a failed movement.

The other is to see his death in a walled compound at the heart of the Pakistani military order that had protected him as the fading away of a retired figure in a movement that had outgrown him.

The debate over whether Al Qaeda is on the path to victory or defeat is also a debate over what Al Qaeda is. A vocal school of thought among some foreign experts of the left was that there was no Al Qaeda. The updated version of that thesis was embraced by Obama and some of his subordinates looking to do an end zone dance and hang up the Mission Accomplished banner by celebrating victory over the core of Al Qaeda and dismissing its affiliates, some of which number in the tens of thousands and are fighting to take over entire countries, as Obama put it, as Jayvee players in Lakers uniforms.

But what if the decline of the core Al Qaeda and the growth of its affiliates is the next step? What if the Lakers decided that they don’t need one really good team, but a hundred smaller teams in every city because they want to capture the entire game?

The men hanging up the Mission Accomplished banner in the East Room of the White House say that Al Qaeda can no longer stage another September 11. They may be right, though as with the last attack, we may end up discovering that they are wrong the hard way, but they are also missing the point.

The handful of Al Qaeda still hanging around Afghanistan are probably not going to pull off another spectacular terrorist attack in America, if such an attack did happen it would come out of cells in Europe or the US by terrorists who were born in the West, but who have learned the business from the ground up in Syria or in training camps in Yemen.

Or it may come from one of the Al Qaeda affiliates in Syria out to prove that it can wear the NBA Jihad uniform the same way that the original team did… by killing large numbers of Americans.

September 11 was a calling card that served its purpose for Al Qaeda moving it along to its next stage from a series of isolated terror groups to a global army with the manpower to launch full scale guerrilla wars seizing cities and entire regions. The core Al Qaeda doesn’t need another September 11. It will leave that to its affiliates, some of which are already playing with WMDs.

The Al Qaeda that we think we know, the terrorist group with cells lurking and plotting attacks, was only an intermittent stage in its growth strategy. The same is true of most terrorist groups. There was a time when the Communists were just another bunch of quarreling groups. Then they became an army and a country and a whole global union of countries. That is where Al Qaeda wanted to go all along.

Al Qaeda wants to destroy America, but it doesn’t need it to do it in the linear fashion that many imagined after September 11, by scaling up to more and more devastating attacks.

The ‘smaller and smarter’ drone strikes approach to Al Qaeda touted by Obama (if you don’t count the +1500 soldiers killed in Afghanistan) postdates a ‘smaller and smarter’ Al Qaeda approach to America.

Al Qaeda has crowdsourced terrorism to domestic “lone wolf” attackers like the Tsarnaev brothers and Nidal Hasan. Most of the attacks have failed, but as the Boston Marathon massacre reminds us, they only need to succeed once and Al Qaeda doesn’t lose any money or resources on them if they fail.

Its vision for Islamic terrorism in America is a domestic franchise, Al Qaeda in America, made up of American Muslims who are young, online and blend easily into a crowd the way the Tsarnaevs did.

Eventually it envisions Syrian style insurgencies in Western countries and while it may take a while before there are enough Muslims in America to make that a viable proposition, there are European countries whose Muslim demographics are severe enough that they have less time before the war.

This international Islamic revolution with franchises emerging everywhere, going from lone wolf attacks based on training manuals, graduating to terror cells and then to guerrilla armies and finally to emirates that swallow up entire countries is the transformative process that Al Qaeda was meant to undergo.

Al Qaeda has become less of a command center and more of a model to its franchises. Some terror experts read this as a decline, when it’s really a mission accomplished. It means that Al Qaeda has served its purpose as a base. It hasn’t lost, it has won. And the war moves on to the next stage.

There are Al Qaeda franchises, known and unknown, in conflict zones all over the map. Their numbers and their accomplishments have only continued to increase. It is tempting to look at over a decade without another 3,000 dead and declare victory, but that is missing the point. Al Qaeda hasn’t failed to carry out another September 11 because we beat it. It’s been busy doing something else.

A fundamental error of the War on Terror was a misreading of Islamic terrorists as reacting to us when in reality we were reacting to them and allowing them to shape the battlefield.

The foreign policy experts were unable to distinguish between motive and propaganda and assumed that Al Qaeda was motivated by grievances over American foreign policy when the terrorist group was listing any random argument it could throw together for a war that it was determined to start even if the United States had been governed by President Kucinich and his Department of Peace.

Al Qaeda attacked us because after the fall of its old enemy, the USSR, the United States was the only superpower left standing. Attacking America established its credibility, opened the wallets of wealthy Muslim oil millionaires and billionaires and allowed it to begin expanding its global network.

The United States of America was attacked as a representative of Western civilization for a Jihad that is meant to begin in the East and culminate in the West. The attacks on America allowed Al Qaeda to build its brand as the great enemy of the West and the champion of Islam. There was little that we could have done except fight back, but what we failed to do was fight intelligently and aim at the right targets.

Al Qaeda is now on its path to victory. That doesn’t mean that it will win, but an organization that has successfully evolved to launching crowdsourced terrorism against America while fielding guerrilla armies to capture cities in its next stage of warfare in the Middle East is not on a path to defeat. Instead it is moving through the second of Mao’s three phases of insurgency. The third stage is conventional war.

Why Islamists and the radical Left loathe the Day of Love.

[Editor's note: This article is reprinted from our Valentine's issue of Feb. 15, 2013. It has been updated and edited to fit this year's Day of Love.]

Today, Friday, February 14, is Valentine’s Day, the sacred day that intimate companions mark to celebrate their love and affection for one another. If you’re thinking about making a study of how couples celebrate this day, the Muslim world and the milieus of the radical Left are not the places you should be spending your time. Indeed, it’s pretty hard to outdo jihadists and “progressives” when it comes to the hatred of Valentine’s Day. And this hatred is precisely the territory on which the contemporary romance between the radical Left and Islamic fanaticism is formed.

The train is never late: every year that Valentine’s comes around, the Muslim world erupts with ferocious rage, with its leaders doing everything in their power to suffocate the festivity that comes with the celebration of private romance. Imams around the world thunder against Valentine’s every year — and the celebration of the day itself is literally outlawed in Islamist states.

This year, the Indonesian Ulema Council in Dumai, Riau, and the Education, Youth and Sport Agency in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, issued a dire warning to people against celebrating Valentine’s Day, stating that the Day of Love “is against Islam.” This is because, as the Indonesian Ulema Council 2011 judgment explained, Valentine’s Day takes young people into a “dark world.”

Malaysia’s State mufti chief assistant Mat Jais Kamos keeps his mind focused on that dark world and so, a few days ago, he ordered young people to stay clear of Valentine’s Day: “The celebration emphasizes the relationship between two individuals rather than the love between family members or married couples,” he affirmed, and department officials backed up his command by distributing leaflets to remind Muslims of the 2006 ban on Valentine’s Day issued by the state fatwa council.

In Islamic Uzbekistan this year, several universities have seen to it that students actually sign contracts promising not to celebrate Valentine’s.

In Pakistan on Valentine’s Day last year, supporters of Jamat-e-Islami, Pakistan’s main religious party, took to the streets in Peshawar to vehemently denounce the day of love. Demonizing it as “un-Islamic,” the Muslim protestors shouted that the day has “spread immodesty in the world.” Shahzad Ahmed, the local leader of the student wing of Jamat-e-Islami, declared that the organization will not “allow” any Valentine’s Day functions, warning that if Pakistani law enforcement did not prevent Pakistanis from holding such functions, that the Jamat-e-Islami would stop them “in our own way.” Khalid Waqas Chamkani, a leader in Jamat-e-Islami, calls Valentine’s a “shameful day.”

These Islamist forces in Pakistan cannot, of course, completely succeed in preventing couples from showing love to each other on this special day, and so many Pakistanis still cryptically celebrate Valentine’s Day and exchange presents in secret.

All these Islamic outcries against Valentine’s Day reflect myriad other efforts to suffocate the day of love throughout the Muslim War. For instance, in Aceh province in Indonesia every year, Muslim clerics issue stern warnings to Muslims against observing Valentine’s Day. Tgk Feisal, general secretary of the Aceh Ulema Association (HUDA), stated two years ago that “It is haram for Muslims to observe Valentine’s Day because it does not accord with Islamic Sharia.” He added that the government must watch out for youths participating in Valentine’s Day activities in Aceh. One can only imagine what happens to the guilty parties.

The Saudis consistently punish the slightest hint of celebrating Valentine’s Day. The Kingdom and its religious “morality” police always officially issue a stern warning that anyone caught even thinking about Valentine’s Day will suffer some of the most painful penalties of Sharia Law. This is typical of the Saudis of course. As Daniel Pipes has reported, the Saudi regime takes a firm stand against Valentine’s every year, and the Saudi religious police monitor stores selling roses and other gifts. They arrest women for wearing red on that day. Every year the Saudis announce that, starting the week of Valentine’s and until a certain day in the future, it is illegal for a merchant to sell any item that is red, or that in any way hints of being connected to Valentine’s Day. As Claude Cartaginese has reported, any merchant in Saudi Arabia found selling such items as red roses, red clothing of any kind (especially dresses), toys, heart-shaped products, candy, greeting cards or any items wrapped in red, has to destroy them or face the wrath of Saudi justice.

Christian overseas workers living in Saudi Arabia from the Philippines and other countries always take extra precautions, heeding the Saudis’ warning to them specifically to avoid greeting anyone with the words “Happy Valentine’s Day” or exchanging any gift that reeks of romance. A spokesman for a Philippine workers group has commented: “We are urging fellow Filipinos in the Middle East, especially lovers, just to celebrate their Valentine’s Day secretly and with utmost care.”

The Iranian despots, meanwhile, consistently try to make sure that the Saudis don’t outdo them in annihilating Valentine’s Day. Iran’s “morality” police consistently order shops to remove heart-and-flower decorations and images of couples embracing on this day — and anytime around this day.

Typical of this whole pathology in the Islamic world was a development witnessed back on February 10, 2006, when activists of the radical Kashmiri Islamic group Dukhtaran-e-Millat (Daughters of the Community) went on a rampage in Srinagar, the main city of the Indian portion of Kashmir. Some two dozen black-veiled Muslim women stormed gift and stationery shops, burning Valentine’s Day cards and posters showing couples together.

In the West, meanwhile, leftist feminists are not to be outdone by their jihadi allies in reviling — and trying to exterminate — Valentine’s Day. Throughout all Women’s Studies Programs on American campuses, for instance, you will find the demonization of this day, since, as the disciples of Andrea Dworkin angrily explain, the day is a manifestation of how capitalist and homophobic patriarchs brainwash and oppress women and push them into spheres of powerlessness.

As an individual who spent more than a decade in academia, I was privileged to witness this war against Valentine’s Day up close and personal. Feminist icons like Jane Fonda, meanwhile, help lead the assault on Valentine’s Day in society at large. As David Horowitz has documented, Fonda has led the campaign to transform this special day into “V-Day” (“Violence against Women Day”) — which is, when it all comes down to it, a day of hate, featuring a mass indictment of men.

So what exactly is transpiring here? What explains this hatred of Valentine’s Day by leftist feminists and jihadis? And how and why does it serve as the sacred bond that brings the radical Left and Islam together into its feast of hate?

The core issue at the foundation of this phenomenon is that Islam and the radical Left both revile the notion of private love, a non-tangible and divine entity that draws individuals to each other and, therefore, distracts them from submitting themselves to a secular deity.

The highest objective of both Islam and the radical Left is clear: to shatter the sacred intimacy that a man and a woman can share with one another, for such a bond is inaccessible to the order. History, therefore, demonstrates how Islam, like Communism, wages a ferocious war on any kind of private and unregulated love. In the case of Islam, the reality is epitomized in its monstrous structures of gender apartheid and the terror that keeps it in place. Indeed, female sexuality and freedom are demonized and, therefore, forced veiling, forced marriage, female genital mutilation, honor killings and other misogynist monstrosities become mandatory parts of the sadistic paradigm.

The puritanical nature of totalist systems (whether Fascist, Communist, or Islamist) is another manifestation of this phenomenon. In Stalinist Russia, sexual pleasure was portrayed as unsocialist and counter-revolutionary. More recent Communist societies have also waged war on sexuality — a war that Islam, as we know, wages with similar ferocity. These totalist structures cannot survive in environments filled with self-interested, pleasure-seeking individuals who prioritize devotion to other individual human beings over the collective and the state. Because the leftist believer viscerally hates the notion and reality of personal love and “the couple,” he champions the enforcement of totalitarian puritanism by the despotic regimes he worships.

The famous twentieth-century novels of dystopia, Yevgeny Zamyatin’s We, George Orwell’s 1984, and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, all powerfully depict totalitarian society’s assault on the realm of personal love in its violent attempt to dehumanize human beings and completely subject them to its rule. In Zamyatin’s We, the earliest of the three novels, the despotic regime keeps human beings in line by giving them license for regulated sexual promiscuity, while private love is illegal. The hero breaks the rules with a woman who seduces him — not only into forbidden love but also into a counterrevolutionary struggle. In the end, the totality forces the hero, like the rest of the world’s population, to undergo the Great Operation, which annihilates the part of the brain that gives life to passion and imagination, and therefore spawns the potential for love. In Orwell’s 1984, the main character ends up being tortured and broken at the Ministry of Truth for having engaged in the outlawed behavior of unregulated love. In Huxley’s Brave New World, promiscuity is encouraged — everyone has sex with everyone else under regime rules, but no one is allowed to make a deep and independent private connection.

Yet as these novels demonstrate, no tyranny’s attempt to turn human beings into obedient robots can fully succeed. There is always someone who has doubts, who is uncomfortable, and who questions the secular deity — even though it would be safer for him to conform like everyone else. The desire that thus overcomes the instinct for self-preservation is erotic passion. And that is why love presents such a threat to the totalitarian order: it dares to serve itself. It is a force more powerful than the all-pervading fear that a totalitarian order needs to impose in order to survive. Leftist and Muslim social engineers, therefore, in their twisted and human-hating imaginations, believe that the road toward earthly redemption (under a classless society or Sharia) stands a chance only if private love and affection is purged from the human condition.

This is exactly why, forty years ago, as Peter Collier and David Horowitz demonstrate in Destructive Generation, the Weather Underground not only waged war against American society through violence and mayhem, but also waged war on private love within its own ranks. Bill Ayers, one of the leading terrorists in the group, argued in a speech defending the campaign: “Any notion that people can have responsibility for one person, that they can have that ‘out’ — we have to destroy that notion in order to build a collective; we have to destroy all ‘outs,’ to destroy the notion that people can lean on one person and not be responsible to the entire collective.”

Thus, the Weather Underground destroyed any signs of monogamy within its ranks and forced couples, some of whom had been together for years, to admit their “political error” and split apart. Like their icon Margaret Mead, they fought the notions of romantic love, jealousy, and other “oppressive” manifestations of one-on-one intimacy and commitment. This was followed by forced group sex and “national orgies,” whose main objective was to crush the spirit of individualism. This constituted an eerie replay of the sexual promiscuity that was encouraged (while private love was forbidden) in We, 1984, and Brave New World.

Thus, it becomes completely understandable why leftist believers were so inspired by the tyrannies in the Soviet Union, Communist China, Communist North Vietnam and many other countries. As sociologist Paul Hollander has documented in his classic Political Pilgrims, fellow travelers were especially enthralled with the desexualized dress that the Maoist regime imposed on its citizens. This at once satisfied the leftist’s desire for enforced sameness and the imperative of erasing attractions between private citizens. The Maoists’ unisex clothing finds its parallel in fundamentalist Islam’s mandate for shapeless coverings to be worn by both males and females. The collective “uniform” symbolizes submission to a higher entity and frustrates individual expression, mutual physical attraction, and private connection and affection. And so, once again, the Western leftist remains not only uncritical, but completely supportive of — and enthralled in — this form of totalitarian puritanism.

This is precisely why leftist feminists today do not condemn the forced veiling of women in the Islamic world; because they support everything that forced veiling engenders. It should be no surprise, therefore, that Naomi Wolf finds the burqa “sexy.” And it should be no surprise that Oslo Professor of Anthropology, Dr. Unni Wikan, found a solution for the high incidence of Muslims raping Norwegian women: the rapists must not be punished, but Norwegian women must veil themselves.

Valentine’s Day is a “shameful day” for the Muslim world and for the radical Left. It is shameful because private love is considered obscene, since it threatens the highest of values: the need for a totalitarian order to attract the complete and undivided attention, allegiance and veneration of every citizen. Love serves as the most lethal threat to the tyrants seeking to build Sharia and a classless utopia on earth, and so these tyrants yearn for the annihilation of every ingredient in man that smacks of anything that it means to be human.

And so perhaps it is precisely on this Valentine’s Day that we are reminded of the hope that we can realistically have in our battle with the ugly and pernicious unholy alliance that seeks to destroy our civilization.

On this day, we are reminded that we have a weapon, the most powerful arsenal on the face of the earth, in front of which despots and terrorists quiver and shake, and sprint from in horror into the shadows of darkness, desperately avoiding its piercing light.

That arsenal is love.

And no Maoist Red Guard or Saudi fascist cop ever stamped it out — no matter how much they beat and tortured their victims. And no al-Qaeda jihadist in Pakistan or Feminazi on any American campus will ever succeed in suffocating it, no matter how ferociously they lust to disinfect man of who and what he is.

Love will prevail.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

This is the problem with that whole “Pin a visa on every graduate student” school of thought. Sometimes that visa turns into a bomb. Other times it turns into a Hepatitis C epidemic.

Dr. Tahir Ali Javed is a politician with the Pakistan Muslim League and has been its local Minister of Health and Minister for Special Education, and a member for Protection of the Environment.

Back in America, he’s known as the man responsible for the largest Hepatitis C outbreak in US history.

Even as 99 people tested positive for hepatitis C and five people died, Javed faced no criminal charges. And even as old medical records, several of Javed’s nurses and several of his victims suggested that the oncologist had long known of the danger — that he had presided over a clinic whose employees repeatedly committed serious safety errors — Dr. Tahir Ali Javed got elected to a new post in Pakistan.

He became a public health minister.

By Pakistani standards, infecting 99 people with hepatitis makes Dr. Javed a leading specialist.

Investigators eventually determined that Evelyn and at least 98 other people had been infected after Javed’s nurses repeatedly didn’t change the syringe while flushing cancer patients’ ports using saline from a community saline bag. Patients told state investigators the saline bag would be clear in the morning, and swimming with pink particles in the afternoon.

Shoddy medical practices, including reused syringes, had earlier been present in Javed’s oncology clinic, known as the Fremont Cancer Center, according to an earlier audit done by the Missouri Valley Cancer Consortium. That investigation’s results were shared with Javed in 2001, and then became public during the civil litigation that followed the outbreak.

That’s standard practice in the Third World. And it’s what happens when you use Third World doctors. I’ve seen this more than once.

But that wasn’t all that Dr. Ali Death did.

The Attorney General’s Office also accused him of exploiting a patient to conduct a sexual relationship with her. The attorney general alleged that Javed, a cancer specialist, gave the woman a false diagnosis and told her not to seek treatment elsewhere because other providers would inform her insurance company and she wouldn’t be able to get insurance again.

Dr. Tahir Ali Javed did have a great defense. All the people infected with Hepatitis C were just Islamophobes.

In Pakistan, Javed became a public health official and reportedly blamed the situation in Nebraska on anti-Muslim sentiment.

It works for terrorism. It works for killing six people with sloppy medicine. They just hate you because you’re Muslim.

And then to top everything else off, Dr Tahri Al Javed tried reapplying for his medical license in New York.

Jean Schafersman of Hooper, Neb., whose son was fighting cancer when he was infected with hepatitis from treatment in Javed’s clinic, expressed astonishment over Javed’s New York application.

“How does that work?” she asked.

As for Javed’s apparent desire to practice again in the United States, she said: “Well, I am not too happy about it.”

Obviously another Islamophobe.

The Salafis often claim that their enemies aren’t really Muslim. Yet they set up a bomb that was designed to look like a Koran, without actually being like a Koran, to take advantage of the Muslim devoutness of their targets.

The whole thing is convolutedly perverse. (via Religion of Peace)

Militants in Pakistan have found clever ways to hide homemade bombs. They’ve been strapped to children’s bicycles, hidden inside water jugs and even hung in tree branches. But the most shocking place that Brig. Basim Saeed has heard of such a device being planted was inside a hollowed-out book made to look like a Quran, Islam’s holy book.

A soldier who went to pick up the book from the floor was killed when it exploded.

“Normally if that book is lying somewhere on the floor, you tend to pick it up immediately just for respect,” said Saeed, the chief instructor at a school training Pakistani forces how to detect the so-called improvised explosive devices, which have become increasingly popular in wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and the insurgency in Pakistan’s northwest, near the Afghan border.

I assume there won’t be any riots or international protests over this. It’s just Muslims using the Koran to entrap other Muslims. It’s a more direct version of something that has been done for centuries.

The US has given Pakistan somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 billion since September 11. Just a few months ago, Obama Inc. released $1.6 billion to Pakistan. A lot of that money consists of counter-terrorism funding which gets spent exactly the way you expect it to.

One receipt for 70,000 rupees ($700) is itemised as a “Pair of wrist watches for marriage of nephew of minister for interior”.

The counter-terror fund was also used to buy three rugs as wedding gifts for the son of former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf early last year.

A set of 21-carat gold jewellery worth $3,000 was bought for one unnamed individual, while another was the recipient of a $1,500 set.

A handicrafts store in Islamabad was paid some $23,000 in December 2012 for carpets and crafts given to local officials and delegations from the EU, Iran and India.

Alms to the poor and donations of sweets, flowers, and cash to a local Sufi saint were also made from the fund in 2012, the documents show.

Among the more bizarre items paid for from the fund was the $800 cost of four sacrificial goats, plus butchery costs, listed as “stabbing charges”, for the festival of Eid-ul-Azha.

That’s probably the innocent form of stabbing charges in Pakistan.

Malik, who as minister was famed for his expensive ties and purple hair-dye, mounted a firm defence of his conduct on Twitter, denying he had used the fund and saying it was “never under the control of the minister”.

Asked why some receipts contained hand-written instructions saying they were the minister’s directives, Malik told AFP: “You know how Pakistan works.

Yes we do, which is why we shouldn’t be enabling it.

Pakistan wants to execute the Prophet Mohammed.

Muslims really seem obsessed with killing prophets. When your religion is based around a warlord who claimed to be a prophet (and occasionally possessed by the devil) you have to protect your religion’s patent by murdering all future prophets.

Sixty-nine-year-old British Pakistani Mohammed Asghar was sentenced to death on Thursday and fined Rs. ten lakh on charges of violating the blasphemy law.

That’s around $22,000 which I assume will go to compensate the family of Mohammed. The original Mohammed. This must be why Mohammed Asghar decided to claim to be a prophet. With all those Mohammeds running around, it must get very confusing.

Asghar had come to Pakistan in 2010 and he was accused of printing visiting cards in the name of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). Police had also seized some letters he had written where he wrote that he was the Prophet. Handwriting experts had testified in court that the letters were written by Asghar.

When asked to say something in his defence, Asghar confessed he was indeed the Holy Prophet.

Well the Prophet Mohammed did have the business cards to prove it.

Wouldn’t it be funny if a branch of Islam sprang up around the Prophet Mohammed 2.0 after his death. It’s happened before, but Saudi Arabia succeeded in killing Rashad Khalifa in the United States. Bahá’u’lláh of the Bahai religion was nearly murdered, but was eventually exiled to Israel where his followers have a center to this day.

The additional sessions judge had also constituted a medical board to evaluate his mental health and the board had said that he was not insane and in perfect health…

Sure. A guy claiming to be a prophet in a country that kills prophets is sane. The psychiatrist who treated Mohammed (again the latter day Mohammed, though the original Mohammed would have benefited from some anti-psychotics) disagrees.

But what does she know? She’s a woman and an infidel.

Mr Asghar’s lawyers, Reprieve, said he was sectioned under the mental health act in Scotland in May 2010 and taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Edinburgh. He was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and kept under observation for over a month. Shortly after his release from hospital, Mr Asghar moved to Pakistan.

His legal team produced an affidavit from Dr Jane McLennan at the Royal Victoria confirming his mental and physical ill health, along with his NHS records.

Maya Foa, director of Reprieve’s death penalty team, said: “One only needs to check Mohammed Asghar’s extensive UK medical records to see that he is a seriously mentally ill man, in dire need of medical care.

He’s in Pakistan where the idea of mental health care involves cutting off the head. At least it’s better than Somalia’s hyena cure.

He decided to return to Rawalpindi where he owned two properties but he found that one of them was being occupied by the complainant, Hafeez Awan, who is alleged to be a member of the land mafia and has several anti-corruption cases against him, the legal representatives said.

Asghar filed a complaint against Awan and then left for Haj. On his return in September, he was arrested on blasphemy charges and all the evidence including the letters, was handed over to the police by the complainant.

Ah blasphemy charges as a form of property theft. The Prophet Mohammed is facing a form of harassment often experienced by Pakistani Christians.

But his lawyer told the BBC’s Saba Eitizaz that she was forcibly removed from the case by the judge and that proceedings were carried out behind closed doors.

Sure, you wouldn’t want a lawyer interfering with your Sharia lynching.

I suspect the only kind of Muslim female superhero that would appeal to these people would wear a Burka and spend all day at home encouraging her husband to beat her up.

Some Pakistanis are embracing a new Marvel comic-book superhero modeled on a Pakistani Muslim teenage girl living in the United States as a chance to burnish Pakistan’s image in the West, while others express reservations.

By “reservations”, UPI means they suspect it’s a conspiracy to make Muslims look bad. The conspiracy would be redundant, because Pakistan does that on its own every day.

There’s no point in trying to appease compulsively paranoid people whose entire identity is wedded to a sense of hostility toward the outside world.

The latest incarnation of “Ms. Marvel” — there were two earlier versions — is to hit store shelves Feb. 5. Marvel Entertainment, the creator of Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man and other fictional superheroes, announced in November it was introducing Ms. Marvel, whose secret identity is “Kamala Khan,” a 16-year-old daughter of Pakistani immigrants living in Jersey City, N.J., and dealing with life between two cultures.

“It is unrealistic for a girl to be a superhero,” housewife Sanam Iqbal told UPI Next. “The dress Kamala Khan will be wearing doesn’t represent our Muslim culture either.

“I can’t expect that Kamala Khan is going to build our country’s image. I am sure there will be a conspiracy behind this idea, either to disrespect our family values or to damage our religion.”

Hina Gulraiz, a Lahore dentist with in-laws in the United States, said Kamala Khan would create problems in Muslim families trying to follow their normal ways.

“I visit the U.S. often and I am sure that if Kamala Khan’s character hurts our values in any case it will not be accepted. We don’t want our girls so open to the world, because it is against our religion and values,” Gulraiz told UPI Next.

They don’t want their faces or mouths open either. It would be quite educational for everyone is Marvel complied and made a “realistic” Pakistani Muslim character, but instead they’ll keep on plying the same politically correct “Little Mosque on the Prairie” hoaxes.

Liberals insist that they are more moral than gun manufacturers.

But while liberals provide weapons to terrorists in Syria and billions in military aid to Pakistan, Turkey and other state sponsors of terror; Desert Tech put patriotism ahead of money.

A Utah-based gun manufacturer has turned down a $15 million deal to supply Pakistan with precision rifles, citing concerns they could eventually be used against U.S. troops.

Mike Davis, sales manager at Desert Tech, said the company was on a short list for a contract with Pakistan, but spurned the opportunity because of unrest in Pakistan and ethical concerns.

It was a difficult decision because of the amount of money involved, he said, and the sale of rifles to Pakistan would have been legal.

“We don’t know that those guns would’ve went somewhere bad, but with the unrest we just ended up not feeling right about it,” Davis told KTVX-TV.

The company, based in the Salt Lake City suburb of West Valley City, was founded in 2007 on the principle of keeping America and its allies safe, he added.

“I’ve got to admire Desert Tech for potentially turning down what could have been a very lucrative contract in the interest of protecting American service members,” said Col. Steven R. Watt of the Utah National Guard.

If only Obama had been as concerned with protecting American soldiers as Desert Tech was. Instead Obama has freed terrorists and tied the hands of American soldiers with Rules of Engagement that prevent them from fighting back leading to horrifying casualty rates under his rule.

Guns are apparently more reliable than black magic. This helps explain the dominance of Western Civilization. But that message can take a while to penetrate even so gun-enthusiastic a place as Pakistan.

But the hate crime may be the American form of magic. It’s inexplicable, taboo and produces more than its share of witch hunts.

And when America imports Pakistani immigrants, it brings with it their unique cultural traditions.

Parvaiz, accused of murder in the Aug. 16, 2011 shooting death of his wife, told Kuma Hassan, leader of the Ancient Black Magic website, that he was visiting Pakistan with his wife and asked if they could make his wife commit suicide while in Pakistan.

“It she does it here, it is better, because the government won’t question her untimely death,” Parvaiz said in an e-mail.

Back in America, Parvaiz had another plan for killing his wife in a way that wouldn’t get the government to suspect him. Fake a hate crime.

A Pakistani-American man whose wife was gunned down while they and their son walked along a quiet suburban street plotted the killing with another woman and told police his family had been attacked by a group of men who called them terrorists.

Kashif Parvaiz, 26, suffered non-life-threatening wounds in the shooting that killed his 27-year-old wife, Nazish Noorani. They were walking with their 3-year-old son, who was in a stroller, to a relative’s house in Boonton when shots rang out Tuesday night. The boy was unharmed.

The hate crime plan, like the black magic plan, didn’t work out too well.

In June, Parvaiz asked Hassan, who describes himself as a “high priest of the dark arts,” to cast a spell on his wife and the mother of their two children to make her “move out and disappear,” Vanadia testified.

“I do not want to look like the one who ended the relationship,” Parvaiz allegedly said.

He didn’t want to look like the bad guy in this relationship. So he turned to black magic.

Among the other companies allegedly contacted by Parvaiz to make his wife disappear was the Florida-based Extreme Black Magic. After initiating contact in May 2010, Parvaiz wrote back a month later and asked if he was being “scammed” after his payment of $4,500 produced no results, Vanadia said.

That seems to be a common consensus about black magic. Kuma Hassan boasts of having a copy of the Necronomicon on hand. Because there’s nothing like a fictional book used as background in a pulp writer’s horror stories to really boost your black magic creds.

But the Necronomicon was written by Abdul “The Mad Arab” Alhazred so maybe the Pakistani who wanted to murder his wife should have tried him. Lovecraft however described him as “being an indifferent Moslem”.

Kuma Hassan claims descent from the Mad Arab.

I am your guide through the seven gates. I shall summon the Ancients, remind them of their pact. My name is Kuma Hassan a direct decedent of Alhazred himself. I posses the knowledge withheld from Simon, Lovecraft, and Giger, the knowledge which he dedicated his life to, refining these rituals in detail.

-kumma hassan-

Well that does sound very impressive. Especially when you consider that H.R. Giger is the artist responsible for the look of Alien.

People who pay money for spells are of two minds about Hassan’s powers.

Hi I am thinking this spell caster could be a legitimate one. After really searching through so many different ones, observing websites and reading the tell tale signs of a spell scammers I think this one may be the REAL deal. Here’s why:

1. The website is professionally done and formally set up with coloring and layout neat and easy to access and read.
2. I did a spelling check and his spelling, punctuation and english is all correct and professional.
3. His address and IP address are available;

Those are all important points. But there are other opinions…

He has done successful spells for me. The only problem is they only last for a day and I don’t think they are very strong. I ordered the most powerful love spell he has (the one that says to only use as a last resort) and it only made my ex boyfriend say he was addicted to sleeping with me. That’s it, nothing else changed and no lifetime commitment came out of it either. So it did work, but it didn’t do exactly what it said.

Tell it to Parvaiz.

“Very soon, our jihad…is reaching New York and Washington."

This isn’t really news in the sense that it was previously unknown. It’s news in the sense that the media avoids covering it because the official narrative is that Faisal Shahzad was another lone wolf bomber upset over losing his home… when he was actually a Pakistani Taliban terrorist.

Now the Tehreek-e-Taliban or Pakistani Taliban is threatening more attacks in New York and Washington.

Pakistan’s most dangerous terrorist organization, the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP), has promised it will attack New York and Washington, D.C., in an act of revenge with suicide fighters, according to a newly released video obtained by TheBlaze.

The group also claims responsibility for the most deadly attack in CIA history and the failed bombing of New York’s Times Square.

It also has a map of the United States with animated bombs dropping and exploding and warns that fighters who have already been trained have infiltrated NATO countries to continue TTP’s global jihad mission.

“Very soon, our jihad…is reaching New York and Washington; our fidayees will very soon enter NATO countries,” it quotes Hussain Ahmed as saying.

“[W]hatever skills you have, whether you be a Muslim living in a NATO country, or Muslims living in Iraq, New York, or Washington, we invite them to study Islam, recite the Koran, look at its orders, then come to the mujahideen and we will train you, stand in our ranks,” it says.

The Pakistani Taliban is trying to bootstrap itself to become an international terrorist organization. And it’s doing it using the low cost Al Qaeda method of signing up local Muslims, like Nidal Hassan or the Tsarnaevs.

The US withdrawal is a major problem for Tehreek-e-Taliban which needs a war against America to justify its internal power struggles. While it appears that the United States may not fully withdraw from Afghanistan, if the targets aren’t available, the Pakistani Taliban will have to come to the United States.

That’s why withdrawal isn’t really much of a solution. Not so long as have easy immigration from Pakistan and other Muslim countries.

Now the prospect of a withdrawal is only encouraging terrorist groups like the Pakistani Taliban to expand its horizons in the same way that Al Qaeda in Iraq looked beyond Iraq to Syria.

Muslim terrorists aren’t “radicalized” when we bomb their countries, in retaliation for their attacks against us. They need to be in a conflict with us because it gives them meaning and power.
