And if you claim gender is real, that's a hate crime.

Medical science is making bold new leaps every day. Not only is there a new medication out that is just like the old medication, except it costs 10 times as much, but the American Medical Association has decided that gender is purely imaginary.

For thousands of years, human ignorance convinced us that there were two genders. Now the AMA says that gender is imaginary. You can be any gender you want. Change gender every week. Or every day.

We’re in Hopechangeistan now. Biology, like economics and military science, are purely imaginary fields. “Science” says so.

In other action Monday, the AMA said transgender people should be able to switch the sex designation on their birth certificates without having sex-change surgery.

Most states make the operations a prerequisite. But the new AMA policy acknowledges that gender identity doesn’t always match a person’s birth anatomy.

An AMA report says identification documents that are consistent with gender identity rather than anatomy is essential to basic social and economic functioning. …

The new policy won praise from the National Center for Transgender Equality.

Since everyone knew that sex change operations didn’t actually switch genders, the AMA has conceded that reality. Transvestites are now transgender. Men in dresses are women.

We are now in a golden age of politically correct science which says that sexual orientation is set genetically at birth, but that gender is fluid and changeable.

And if you claim gender is real, that’s a hate crime.

Facts are not subject to our feelings. Except they are.

The Chicago Sun Times will run all sorts of controversial opinions, but it’s apologizing for an article which pointed out that a man is not a woman. It’s 2014 and this is now a statement too controversial for newspapers to run.

After centuries of using Galileo to poke fun at pre-modernists, we’ve arrived at a time in which pointing out an aspect of the real world much less subject to debate than the movements of planetary bodies is now heresy.

Kevin Williamson’s article, “Laverne Cox Is Not a Woman: Facts are not subject to our feelings.”

Unlike a lot of people who sneer at tranny PCness and yet use the wrong gender pronoun, Williamson correctly calls Cox “he” and “him”.

But then the Chicago Sun Times came under pressure from gay rights activists and facts took second place to feelings.

“Upon further consideration, we concluded the essay did not include some key facts and its overall tone was not consistent with what we seek to publish. The column failed to acknowledge that the American Medical Association and the American Psychological Association have deemed transgender-related care medically necessary for transgender people. It failed as well to acknowledge the real and undeniable pain and discrimination felt by transgender people, who suffer from notably higher rates of depression and suicide. We have taken the post down and we apologize for the oversight.”

Only one of those two things are facts. The other is a feeling.

The APA and AMA’s views are a fact only insofar as they exist, not in that they represent an objective reality. The AMA and the APA have held plenty of views that they have disavowed over the years. The idea that people who believe they’re a different gender or species should be mutilated until they can fool someone in a dark room has no medical basis. It has a political basis.

Williamson was not obligated to cite either one is an editorial arguing a particular point of view. Just as no one would expect Cox to mention that he is a man, even though that is an unambiguous fact.

Commenting on the apology, Williamson wrote, “Tom McNamee et al. are a disgrace to a proud newspaper tradition, and an unhappy reminder that post-operative transsexuals are not the only men who have had their characteristic equipment removed.”

Dana Contreras, a man, married his wife Melissa in 2007. Then he had surgery to mutilate himself so that he could pretend to be a woman. Then despite not going to college, got a top job at Twitter where he became an advocate for transgender issues, but then things didn’t go so well.

Contreras, who now also goes by Dana McCallum, has been charged with raping his wife.

A prominent advocate for transgender and women’s rights in the tech world has been charged with raping his wife, The San Francisco Examiner has learned.

Dana McCallum, a senior engineer at Twitter who speaks and writes about women’s and transgender rights and technology issues, was arrested Jan. 26 and booked into County Jail on suspicion of five felonies, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

McCallum, 31, whose legal name is Dana Contreras, was charged Jan. 29 with five felonies, including three counts of spousal rape, one count of false imprisonment and one count of domestic violence, according to the District Attorney’s Office. He has since pleaded not guilty.

McCallum has been out of jail on $350,000 bail. A condition of his release is that he attend AA meetings, according to court documents.

So apparently, and not unusually, there’s a trifecta of psychological problems here. Transgender is not a birth identity, as some activists like to claim, it’s a mental breakdown.

A December story in Business Insider listed McCallum as one of the most important gay people in the tech world.

According to McCallum’s profile on the online publication Model View Culture, for which he wrote about transgender people and women in tech in January 2013, “Dana McCallum has been working in software engineering and engineering leadership since 2000. As an advocate for women in technology and the LGBT community.”

Also an advocate for raping them.

A lot of men who claim to be women deeply resent actual women and violently lash out at them. Mr. McCallum/ Contreras would not be the first man pretending to be a woman to behave that way.

Tech sites frequently interviewed Dana McCallum as representing “women in tech” when he wasn’t a woman. He admitted as much in an article in which he said that, “My own success as a trans woman in tech rests on a bedrock of white, middle-class, and yes, male, privilege; few trans people are so fortunate.”

Meanwhile the alleged rapist, accused the Lean Ins of “reinforcing patriarchal, capitalist structures”.

Like rape.

" He killed them because they had the ability to have children."

Disagreeing would no doubt be transphobic.

Douglas Perry murdered 3 women because, like many trannies he hated women since he could never become one.

“According to court documents filed in January, a cellmate of Perry claimed he confessed to murdering a total of nine women who had been exploited by men into prostitution. He killed them because they had the ability to have children and were “wasting it being pond scum”.

The ridiculous practice of classifying trannies as female based on their voluntary castration delayed the process of connecting Perry to the murders since the DNA was from a man, but the murderer had renamed himself Donna and was posing as a woman.

Now Douglas is claiming that he’s really “Donna” and that he shouldn’t be held responsible for what his male personality did.

It’s an absurd defense, but so is the claim that Douglas is really a woman.

If political correctness mandates believing that some mutilation, a few hormones and a dress make a man into a woman… because his ‘brain’ was female (No seriously, that’s a Tranny talking point. They were born this way. Which is why they need surgery.) is a hate crime, why not also mandate believing that trannies also have two personalities, a bad male personality and a good female personality and that one isn’t responsible for the other?

There is evidence that Perry’s legal team wholeheartedly supports a transgenderist identity defense: their sole request of the court was that defendant’s criminal name Douglas be erased from all court documents and replaced by the name Donna. His legal team, headed by Anna Nordtvedt, claimed they had been unable to see Douglas previously because the legal team refused to submit that request using the name on his criminal record. That a defense team’s single priority during arraignment of a triple-murder suspect is the request that legal records be changed to reflect his “gendered” female name is a strong indicator that establishing a new legal persona for Perry is critical to his defense.

It’s not like there’s any other defense except claims of transphobic persecution making Douglas Perry out to be the real victim instead of the women he murdered.

Any chance they can opt out of funding someone else's sexual fetishes just so they can get health care?

How many University of Illinois students are insane enough to believe that they’re a whole other gender? Who cares. It only takes one or two to form a victim group and demand special privileges at the expense of everyone else.

University of Illinois trustees today approved a student health insurance plan for the Urbana-Champaign campus that will for the first time cover gender reassignment surgery, a benefit they approved for the Chicago campus last year.

The trustees’ 8-2 decision came after about 20 minutes of discussion and followed public comments by two students and an employee who counsels the university’s transgender students.

Trustee Dr. Timothy Koritz and student trustee Michael Cunningham voted against it.

The insurance cost for students will increase about 15 percent this fall, to $582 a year for undergraduates and $752 for graduate students. Between $4 and $6 of the increase is attributed to adding gender reassignment surgery to the insurance plan. The procedure, commonly referred to as a “sex change,” transforms a person’s physical appearance and sexual characteristics to that of the other sex.

The insurance will cover counseling, hormone therapy and surgery related to gender reassignment.

While students are automatically assessed the student health insurance fee, they can opt out if they show evidence of other insurance coverage — through a parent or job, for example. About 28,000 of the campus’ 44,500 students are participating in the health insurance plan this year.

Any chance they can opt out of funding someone else’s sexual fetishes just so they can get health care?

I suspect a lot more of that 15% is sex change op costs than they will let on.

Let me skip to the 56th option; "Two-Spirit"

Facebook has added 56 other gender options besides male and female for the politically correct mentally ill. And if you think I’m being too harsh, let me skip to the 56th option.

“Two-Spirit”

Yes, Two-Spirit. Because science proves that some people have two spirits inside them.

I rest my case.

There’s “Agender, Androgyne and Androgynous.” To clear that up, “Androgynes may possess traits that are simultaneously feminine and masculine, or neither.” That’s also the definition of Androgynous.

“Agender is a term that describes people who lack a gender.” This is different from “Neither”, “Neutrois”, “Non-Binary”, “Gender Fluid”, “Gender Nonconforming”,”Gender Questioning” and “Gender Variant.” Not to mention “Pangender” and “Transsexual”.

The politically correct mentally ill also get to choose from “Transsexual Female”, “Transsexual Woman”, “Transsexual Male”, “Transsexual Man”, “Transfeminine”, “Trans”, “Trans*”, “Trans Female”, “Trans* Female”, “Trans Male”, “Trans* Male”, “Trans Man”, “Trans* Man”, “Trans Person”, “Trans* Person”, “Trans Woman”, “Trans* Woman”.

“Trans Former” may or may not be a future option.

And for those who really can’t make up their mind, there’s always “Other”.

Just going with “Other” would have saved a whole lot of space, but just imagine what your next census form will look like.

The simplest way to break this down would be, “Male”, “Female”, “Don’t Know What the Hell I Am, Someone Please Enable My Mental Illness and Pretend It’s an Identity.”

It’s a bit long but it covers everything.

Jones was unhappy, explaining that pronouns which apply to everyone do not apply to Jones

It’s not gay rights. It’s not even LGBT which includes men who dress up like women. It’s actually LGBTQIA which includes a bunch of people who don’t know what they are, including “Queer” and “Asexual”.

This is the story of Valeria Jones, a real life Pat, who is apparently a woman and really determined not to be a woman. (via Doug Ross)

A person in Oregon named Valeria Jones is suing catering company Bon Appétit Management for $518,682 because coworkers used female names in reference to Jones despite the fact that Jones had continually expressed the desire to be addressed only with gender neutral pronouns.

Some of the terms the coworkers called Jones included, for example, “little lady,” “lady” and “miss,” reports The Oregonian. The coworkers said Jones looked like a woman—possibly some unidentified female celebrity.

Jones was unhappy, explaining that pronouns which apply to everyone do not apply to Jones and are “unwelcome” because Jones is “not a female or a male.”

Before ultimately quitting the job, Jones asked supervisors to present information to every other employee about various gender identity issues. The suit says supervisors chose not to make such a presentation.

“Plaintiff cried regularly at work and at home during this time,” Jones’s $518,682 suit declares.

The supervisors chose not to waste everyone’s time with the insanity of a crazy person. And here comes the lawsuit because the catering company chose not to manufacture a single new gender consisting entirely of “Jones”.

This whole thing is happening in Portland, because obviously where else could it happen except maybe San Francisco. It also puts paid to the notion that you can just sign on to gay marriage and be done with it.

You’re never done with it. There are an infinite amount of permutations that people can come up with and there is no conceivable way of satisfying everyone because many of these people are unstable and looking for something to validate their sense of persecution and general state of unhappiness.

It never ends. Not until we roll back the madness and stop taking these incessant demands from people with identity problems seriously..

Iranian sports teams have a lot in common with East German sports teams.

I know men played women’s parts in Shakespeare’s day, but this is ridiculous.

Iran, despite hanging gay men, is okay with it if the men get a sex change operation instead. While Sunni Islam tends to, officially limit sex change operations to hermaphrodites, the Ayatollah Khomeini was pretty enthusiastic about trannies.

Since Iran kills gay men but allows men to sleep with men if they go the hijab route while repressing women, and has a lot of doctors, it’s not hard to figure out what happened next.

Iran now carries out more sex change operations than any country in the world. Iran being a Shiite Islamist totalitarian state, these operations are sometimes compulsory. Yes, compulsory. It’s Iran after all.

So to no one’s surprise, Iranian women’s soccer teams have a lot in common with the plot of comedies from the 1980s.

Footballers in Iran’s professional women’s league are to undergo mandatory gender tests to establish that they are fully female.

The country’s football governing body is bringing in the random checks after it was revealed that several leading players – including four in the national women’s team – were either men who had not completed sex change operations, or were suffering from sexual development disorders.

Ahmad Hashemian, head of the Iranian football federation’s medical committee, said the clubs themselves were now obliged to carry out medical examinations to establish the gender of their players before signing them on contracts.

“If these people can solve their problems through surgery and be in a position to receive the necessary medical qualifications, they will then be able to participate in [women's] football,” Mr Hashemian, a qualified doctor, said in remarks quoted by IRNA, the state news agency.

Ahmad is only barring men who haven’t been fully castrated from playing. Once they go through full mutilation, they’re welcome on the team.

That means Iranian women’s sports teams have a lot in common with East German women’s sports teams.

The increasing normalization of the tranny movement means that the whole idea of female sports teams and gender segregated competitions are about over. Paradoxically this means that the left has killed Title IX or at least made it into another weird comedy in which you only have male teams and teams of men pretending to be women.

It took a while, but life is now the plot of Bosom Buddies.

Can liberals please stop the War on Science and the War on Women?

Still less traumatic than this post

Can liberals please stop the War on Science and the War on Women?

Mikki Kendall is mainly famous for ranting at white liberal feminists on Twitter who aren’t allowed to fight back because white privilege. Also she once claimed that an anti-abortion doctor nearly killed her… except it didn’t happen like that.

Kendall’s antics, which are slightly more sophisticated ways of yelling RACISTRACISTRACIST at liberal white feminists, finally got noticed in a Nation article. NPR brought her on to discuss one of the highlights of the insanity in the original piece.

In January, the actress and activist Martha Plimpton tweeted about a benefit for Texas abortion funds called “A Night of a Thousand Vaginas,” sponsored by A Is For, a reproductive rights organization she’s involved with.

Plimpton was surprised when some offended Internet feminists urged people to stay away, arguing that emphasizing “vaginas” hurts trans men who don’t want their reproductive organs coded as female.

Yes, that’s the level of crazy we’re dealing with here.

Mikki Kendall explained that in her cultural context her abusive behavior is just fine.

Everyone’s coming into this big umbrella from different cultural contexts. Do I think from the standards of my community that I’m a bully? No.

Isn’t it great having a society with no common codes of ethics or behavior?

And then relativism got really crazy…

I think that with Martha Plimpton, when you say that you are speaking for all of these women in reproductive health and reproductive justice, then you need to be aware that it’s not just women that get pregnant. You need to be aware that vaginas don’t get pregnant. Uteruses can contain a baby, but you don’t have to have a vagina in order to be pregnant.

Biology just phoned NPR to announce that it’s changing its address and moving to Canada.

Can a man have a uterus? In liberalville, the answer is yes because a woman who had herself mutilated due to a mental illness that causes her to believe that she is really a man can get pregnant and is being discriminated against by an abortion benefit which no longer represents her ability to have an abortion.

Apparently it’s now going to have to be A Night of a Thousand Uteri. And that will probably end up being transphobic because men who pretend to be women don’t have a uterus… but neither do they need abortions because they aren’t women.

Which means you can’t call it anything or it’ll end up being transphobic because it will either leave out men pretending to be women or women pretending to be men who can no longer line up the right list of body parts.

This is your culture. This is your culture on liberalism.

(Warning: Before you deem this post transphobic, remember that in my cultural context and by the standards of my community, it’s completely normal. Isn’t moral relativism fun?)

It would be illegal for a restaurant to prohibit a man from using the women’s bathroom

That’s not just the literal meaning of the ruling which states that a Maine school forbidding a boy who claims that his gender identity is that of a girl from using the bathroom is discrimination, but also the practical effect of the ruling which uses discrimination law to argue that, effectively, gender segregated bathrooms are illegal.

The school directed Maines, the boy in question, to use the staff bathroom, after complaints by family members of students.

The Maine Supreme Judicial Court on Thursday reversed a lower court’s decision that banned a transgender boy from using the girls’ bathroom in Orono schools.

In a 5-1 decision, the justices said that Superior Court Justice William Anderson erred when he ruled in favor of what is now Riverside RSU 26.

The Chief Justice dissented by pointing out the obvious implications of this ridiculous decision.

[T]he Court has concluded, as it must based on the statutes, that discrimination in the public accommodation of communal bathrooms is prohibited based on sexual orientation. The statute requiring that result also prohibits discrimination based simply on “sex.”

Thus, the next logical step given the Court’s inevitable interpretation of the existing statute is, as the dissent points out, the assertion that access to the public accommodation of designated communal bathrooms cannot be denied based on a person’s sex.

Put simply, it could now be argued that it would be illegal discrimination for a restaurant, for example, to prohibit a man from using the women’s communal bathroom, and vice versa.

That’s exactly the outcome. The idiotic logic of discrimination law has led us step by step to this point. If any form of separation is illegal, then so are gender segregated bathrooms.

We’ve gone from lunch counter equality to bathroom equality.

Justice Mead points out that,

The broad principle established by the Court’s interpretation of the MHRA is that access to multiple-user public bathrooms may not be denied based upon sexual orientation. That principle, by implication, applies equally to the other categories enumerated in the MHRA.

Specifically, it means that no person may be denied access to a public bathroom in a school or other place of public accommodation on the basis of their race, color, physical or mental disability, religion, ancestry, national origin, or sex. Thus, the MHRA, as construed by the Court today, prevents the denial of access to any public bathroom on the basis of a person’s sex.

Obviously this result is an extraordinary departure from the well-established custom that public bathrooms are typically segregated by sex.

Ah, but that custom is discriminatory. It also offends transgender men who hate being reminded that they aren’t really women.

Robert Kosilek strangled his wife to death so severely that he nearly cut off her head.

The liberal Constitution is a very strange place. There’s no Freedom of Religion in it, but there is a Constitutional right to sex change operations.

Robert Kosilek was a psycho transvestite who strangled his wife to death so severely that he nearly cut off her head. Then he dumped her naked body in a mall parking lot.

Cheryl McCaul had met Robert Kosilek and felt sorry for him. And she paid for it with her life. The cowardly Kosilek tried to claim that he had murdered his wife in self-defense after she caught him trying on her clothes. Today Robert Kosilek would probably have become a gay rights cause celeb, but this was 1990, so he went to jail instead.

In prison, Robert Kosilek began calling himself Michelle and demanding a sex change operation. The prison made the mistake of giving him hormones, which laid the groundwork for his demand. Once any form of transvestism is treated as some kind of medical necessity, then you end up having to accept the whole thing; just like with civil unions and gay marriage.

But there’s no War on Women to see here.

A federal appeals court on Friday upheld a judge’s ruling granting a taxpayer-funded sex change operation for a transgender inmate serving a life sentence for a murder conviction, saying receiving medically necessary treatment is a constitutional right that must be protected ‘even if that treatment strikes some as odd or unorthodox.’

U.S. 1st Circuit Court of Appeals Judges O. Rogeriee Thompson and William Kayatta Jr. said in their ruling that courts must not shrink from their obligation to enforce the constitutional rights of all people, including prisoners.

‘And receiving medically necessary treatment is one of those rights, even if that treatment strikes some as odd or unorthodox,’ they wrote.

One member of the three-judge appeals panel, Judge Juan Torruella, disagreed, saying in a separate opinion the ruling went beyond the boundaries of protections offered under the Eighth Amendment.

Judge Juan Torruella is a Reagan judge. Judge O. Rogeriee Thompson is a freakshow Obama judge. Judge William Kayatta Jr. is another Obama judges.

The bathroom divide minimizes the existence of sexual assault that is not male-on-female.

This is not a joke. This is liberalism.

In what may be the most convoluted politically correct argument of the decade, a Slate intern grubs for traffic with a gay rights argument condemning separate bathrooms for men and women to protect women from being raped for discriminating against the victims of gay rape.

Convoluted doesn’t even begin to sum this up.

Choosing not to rid society of the bathroom divide because of an assumption that sexual assault survivors are all women who have been assaulted by men perpetuates a culture that embraces this as inevitable. This opposition also minimizes the existence of sexual assault that is not male-on-female.

The horrors of bathroom apartheid apparently minimizes gay rape. And while I agree that gay rape is a valid issue, I don’t think anyone is going to allow mandatory separate bathrooms for gay men.

That one just seems like a non-starter.

The core issue seems to be that trannies want to be able to use any bathroom they like and if they can’t, then they want to pile everyone into one bathroom because gendered bathrooms are the new racism.

Why is the bathroom seen as an untouchable, unchangeable safe space? Naturally, everyone wants to be comfortable when taking care of bathroom business, but how is a restroom different than other public spaces in which people want to be left alone? Is it simply a social construction? If comfort is the main concern, why is the comfort of some people privileged over that of others? And are we comfortable with that?

That’s actually a good question. Not the part about “how is a restroom different than other public spaces”. It would take a liberal to ask that particular question.

But if we’re going to privilege some people’s comfort, then why not privilege the vast majority that wants separate bathrooms over a tiny minority of mentally ill men who wear dresses?

Should the vast majority be threatened for the comfort of a tiny aberrant and disturbed minority?

Should women have to worry about being raped so a few trannies can be comfortable in non-gendered bathrooms?

The question has larger implications. Should Christian bakers and photographers lose their religious freedom so that a tiny minority of homosexuals can enjoy the privilege of forcing anyone they like to service them? Should society be turned upside down for the benefit of a tiny wealthy minority and its privileged sexual lifestyle?

Sic transit Gloria Obamacare

Quick. What’s less off-putting than George Soros and ObamaCare? Men in dresses. When your product is this toxic, then anything off-putting but less toxic, counts as promotion.

So the Center for American Progress, our actual government of liberal billionaires that uses Obama as their hand puppet, is desperately trying to salvage ObamaCare by putting on a show. A drag show.

As a critical deadline for signing up for insurance under President Obama’s health-care law approaches, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community has emerged as a major target for the White House and outside groups.

A disproportionate number of LGBT Americans are uninsured and qualify for federal premium subsidies to help buy coverage, and the administration is intensifying its efforts to get them enrolled before the end of the year.

Nope. Gay incomes are three to five times that of normal Americans. Few of them are going to be eligible for subsidies.

The reason that Obama is chasing men in dresses is because they avoid insurance since they earn more and are more likely to work freelance. And a lot less likely to have families.

Obama is chasing gays for the same reason that he’s chasing young invincibles. He needs them to subsidize his program.

There are several reasons for this disparity, among them that same-sex partners often don’t qualify as family members for employer-based insurance plans and that individuals sometimes lose coverage when they are fired because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

That’s a lot of people being fired. Does the Washington Post really believe the nonsense it prints?

Meanwhile, several outside groups are pitching in for the LGBT outreach, including Out2Enroll, a collaboration among the Sellers Dorsey Foundation, the Center for American Progress (CAP) and the Federal Agencies Project.

Some of the pitches are decidedly less conventional. Wednesday Night Tea, a drag show in Shreveport, La., has started promoting the health-care law as part of its act. And Out2Enroll is launching a social media campaign this week that will have “naughty” elements as well as holiday cheer, according to Kellan Baker, associate director of the LGBT Research and Communications Project at CAP.

Obama and his backers have been reduced to sponsoring drag acts. That’s a step down even from Colorado’s desperately pathetic efforts to interest young people with their Bro ads and underwear models.

The Wednesday Night Tea cast, of “the ever-lovely Vanessa LeRoux, Feenyx Styles, The Ladi Phat Kat (who recently placed 7th at the National Miss USofA Pageant At-Large), Mya Andrews, and Jax Hannigan – is also working on videos that will be posted on our YouTube page. These videos will focus on the need for insurance, the issues our cast has faced because they were uninsured”.

Apparently it’s hard to get insurance when your job consists of living out a bad imitation of the last days of the Weimar Republic.

And if you’re still not convinced, there’s a Tumblr that looks like brain damage in action. The motto is “We’re here, we’re queer and we want coverage.”

And if the drag act doesn’t work, they can always auction off a date with Obama.

Margarine is on the way to becoming illegal, but businesses will be required to employ 300 pound men in dresses. Because America is now Sweden.

10 Republican Senators courageously joined the effort to prevent businesses from firing men who wear dresses.

How many Republicans voted for the bill?: 10. Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah), Dean Heller (R-Nev.), Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Patrick J. Toomey (R-Pa.).

At this point, McCain isn’t exactly a surprise. Ayotte unfortunately does whatever he tells her. Why did Orrin Hatch and Dean Heller switch? The answer may lie in the turnaround of the Mormon Church on gay rights after pressure from gay groups. But Hatch has a history of waffling on the subject.

Senator Mike Lee however came out against the bill warning that it does not protect religious freedoms. Rob Portman decided to follow his son. Lisa Murkowski is well… Lisa Murkowski.

Jeff Flake initially opposed ENDA and then came out for it. “As I said in 2007 when I voted for the Employment Non-Discrimination Act in the House, one of the most important constitutionally mandated functions of the federal government is to protect the rights of individuals. While I had concerns about expanding protections beyond those House provisions, after consideration, I believe supporting this bill is the right thing to do. I am hopeful that the bill moves forward in a way that works for employers as well as employees.”

Toomey knew the bill was wrong, but ended up voting for it anyway.

Walking a delicate tightrope of not alienating his conservative base but needing to endear himself to Pennsylvania’s more moderate electorate, Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Pat Toomey voted for a historic gay rights bill Thursday.

But Toomey, who is up for re-election in 2016, wasn’t a sure thing. He introduced an amendment to broaden exemptions for faith-based businesses, but it was voted down 43-53.

But Toomey argued the bill created a conflict between two American values: equality and religious freedom.

“I believe, and I think most Americans share the view that every individual is entitled to dignity and respect and fairness and that individuals ought to be judged based on their merits, on their character and on their abilities,” he said. “A person’s sexual orientation is irrelevant to their ability to be a good doctor or engineer or athlete or a federal judge.”

But Toomey said he wanted to make extra sure that businesses with religious affiliations, even those that perform mainly secular duties — such as schools and hospitals — be exempt from hiring gay employees if doing so “violates the tenets of their faith.”

Some Republicans are defending this thing on the grounds that it doesn’t mandate building new facilities and provides some basic religious exemptions.

Those come next… of course.

Now it’s up to Congress to do its job.

How much makeup is this man wearing?

It’s a good thing that Democrats are really taking this whole “economy” thing seriously. Crop conspiracist Jeff Merkley really has his eye on the big issues.

Like forcing businesses to allow crazy employees to dress up in women’s clothing. Because this is <del>America</del> France and this is what’s really important. And any businesses who don’t like it can move to China.

The Senate will hold a procedural vote Monday on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), a gay and bisexual rights bill that also aims to protect people from workplace discrimination when transitioning from one gender to another.

The bill from Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) would make it illegal for companies, associations and government employers at all levels to use sexual orientation and gender identity as a basis for hiring and firing decisions, or to use these factors to discriminate against employees or applicants.

But the bill goes further than that by including language meant to protect people from discrimination when in “gender transition.” The bill gets at the idea of gender transition in Section 8, which deals with workplace dress and grooming standards.

That section says employers are allowed to enforce “reasonable dress or grooming standards.” But that right is conditional — employees who have gone through gender transition, and employees who notify employers that they are “undergoing gender transition,” must be allowed to dress in the manner of the gender “to which the employee has transitioned or is transitioning.”

That means 300 pound men in dresses welcoming customers to a business that they now run screaming from. Because crazy is a civil right.

Businesses hiring employees is no longer a right. Maybe Jeff Merkley, who looks like he occasionally likes to go out on the town dressed like Carol Channing, can mandate tranny affirmative action hiring quotas.

The bill itself, S. 815, does not define “gender transition.” A report on the bill from the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee says senators decided not to define the term.

Which means it can mean anything at all. Official trannydom no longer even requires getting surgery. If you announce one day that you’re a woman, businesses are obligated to cater to your insanity.

That’s how we got boys in the girls bathroom in California.

But sanity may intervene with a doctor likely to run against Merkley, a crazy senator who is almost as obsessed with crop conspiracies as he is with men in dresses.

Monica Wehby, a well-known pediatric neurosurgeon, announced her candidacy in a Web video.

Wehby is the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Randall Children’s Hospital in Portland, Ore. She has served on the American Medical Association’s board of trustees — a position she resigned Tuesday in order to run for office — and previously served as president of the Oregon Medical Association.

“When I talk to small business owners they are very concerned about all these new regulations, new laws, new taxes coming out of Washington D.C.,” Wehby says in an accompanying statement. “They don’t know whether to invest and grow their business, or hold back and see what happens to this economy. They don’t feel like they have a senator who is looking out for them.”

She’s capable, qualified and legitimately wears a dress. So she’s everything that Jeff Merkley isn’t.

A government that wants to control every aspect of our lives? Tell me more.

The first clue was apparently male pattern baldness

The first clue was apparently male pattern baldness so maybe the whole temporary tranny thing was an elaborate attempt at hiding the whole bald thing.

ABC News editor Don Ennis strolled into the newsroom in May wearing a little black dress and an auburn wig and announced he was transgender and splitting from his wife. He wanted to be called Dawn.

But now he says he suffered from a two-day bout of amnesia that has made him realize he wants to live his life again as Don.

Surprise. Sincerely believing you’re a woman when you’re a man is a mental problem. It’s not a civil rights issue. It requires psychological help.

“Fortunately, my memories of the last 14 years have since returned. But what did not return was my identity as Dawn,” said Ennis, who had been wearing lipstick, skirts and heels.

“I am writing to let you know I’m changing my name . . . to Don Ennis. That will be my name again, now and forever. And it appears I’m not transgender after all.

LGBT activists insist that transsexuals are actually born with a brain of another gender. Never mind the stupidity of that for a second, it turns out that Don Ennis’ brain was not the issue, his memories were. Once the memories of his sexual experimentation went away, so did the fake female identity.

“I’m asking all of you who accepted me as a transgender to now understand: I was misdiagnosed…“It’s so odd to be experiencing this from the other side; as recently as last Friday, I felt I was indeed a woman, in my mind, body and soul.”

It’s not a diagnosis except of a psychological problem.

Ennis had previously told friends that he suspected his sex mix-up happened because his mother gave him female hormones as a child that made him look and sound young to prolong a bit-part acting career, but he ended up developing breasts and started thinking he was a woman.

ABC News. You give us 5 minutes and one of our news editors will scar you for life.

The startling he-to-she-back-to-he move came after Ennis had publicly announced on Facebook in May that he was leaving his wife of 17 years, Wendy, to become a full-time woman.

The Connecticut resident has now assured friends and colleagues that his switch back to being a man isn’t a joke.

No it is a joke. So is the whole tranny rights movement. What isn’t a joke, is the abuse being inflicted on children by demented adults trying to raise them in another gender.

In Washington DC it's hard to tell parody from absurdity.

DC’s JaParker Deoni Jones Birth Certificate Equality Amendment Act seems to have solely been designed as a parody beginning with its name. Its goal is a virtual parody of the absurd premise of transgender rights.

But in Washington DC it’s hard to tell parody from absurdity.

The District of Columbia Committee on the Judiciary and Public Safety has approved a bill that would allow anatomical males and females who have letters signed by a health professional indicating that they have “undergone a gender transition” to legally change the sex listed on their birth certificate.

The JaParker Deoni Jones Birth Certificate Equality Amendment Act of 2013 would amend current law that requires people who seek to change the sex on their birth certificate to have documentation that they have undergone a surgical sex change and to publish a public notice of the impending change.

It’s nice of the DC Council to legalize time travel by insisting on going back in time to change the past. It’s a little out of their jurisdiction, but when your city is Detroit with politicians instead of cars, a little escape into unreality is understandable.

Jones, a transgender male, was stabbed to death on Feb. 2, 2012 while waiting for a bus. A homeless man, Gary Montgomery, was charged with first-degree murder in the case and is awaiting trail,

If a law gets passed every time someone is stabbed by a homeless man in the capital of Obama Nation then the homeless will have enough paper to build shelters out of.

Ever since the NAACP became a generic boutique of leftist causes, it has become even more of a clown show than usual. The old NAACP at least tried to wrap itself in the mantle of civil rights. The NAACP just spews the latest irrational Think Progress talking points on the usual collection of causes on abortion, gay rights, illegal immigration and now tranny rights.

And being a clown show, the NAACP found a way to combine illegal immigration and tranny rights. That’s the kind of out of the box and out of your mind thinking that the left values.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) President Benjamin Jealous threw out a bizarre, new reason Friday for Voter ID laws to be banned in the U.S. – transgenders.

At a Netroots Nation panel Friday on “voting rights,” Jealous argued that in addition to all the other reasons he thinks Americans shouldn’t have to show a photo ID when voting, Voter ID laws should be abolished because they put transgender Americans at a disadvantage.

“As many people know, I have an adopted brother who’s transgender and he typically doesn’t dress the way he does when he hangs out in the Tenderloin when he goes to a government office,” Jealous said, referencing a notorious LGBT community in San Francisco. “And so if you show his ID you know and he would hold it up to his face, it looks like two different people.”

That’s a great argument. But it can’t stop with just Voter ID. Civil rights demands that we outlaw all licenses because of Jealous’ crazy cross-dressing brother whose notions of gender cannot be confined by a single photograph.

That means no more driver’s licenses or passports or photo id’s of any kind. Mr. Obama, tear down that photo ID requirement everywhere.

Oh no, but wait. Uh driver’s licenses are fine for some reason. It’s only Voter ID that presents a problem, for some reason that doubtlessly has nothing to do with encouraging voter fraud.

Oddly, when Holder appeared at the NAACP Nation Convention, a photo ID was required to get in. Jealous’ cross-dressing brother was no doubt hardest hit.

If you want to see the kind of insanity that happens when Democrats take over the criminal justice system, look no further than the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

This is the story of Michael A. Stokes, a bank robber serving a 73 year sentence, who decided to rename himself Ophelia Azriel De’lonta and pretend to be a woman. And that would be fine. 73 years is close to life and if you’re going to be spending 1983 to 2056 in a cell, then you might as well find creative ways to pass the time, whether it’s befriending a mouse or claiming to the messiah. And since Stokes is now 52, he would 96 by the time he’s released. Which is pretty old to rob banks or star in Gypsy.

But in a Democratic run justice system, it’s not enough for the inmate to be crazy, the court has to be just as crazy as he is.

So this is also the story of the Virginia Department of Corrections which not only allowed Michael Stokes to dress up as a woman, but also paid for his psychological counseling and hormone therapy. But that wasn’t good enough for Ophelia and all the other people living in Michael’s head. He wanted Virginia taxpayers to pay to castrate him in the hopes that would finally turn him into a woman.

While Virginia taxpayers might have been open to castrating Stokes, they weren’t willing to pay $20,000 to do it, when a good veterinarian could do it for 50 bucks and a shot of whiskey.

And the story would have ended there, but then the ACLU came on the scene and sued the Virginia Department of Corrections for not providing “medical treatment” for Stokes’ problem, by which they did not mean electroshock therapy or hiring an exorcist.

Around this time Michael A. Stokes tried to manually castrate himself, which would have saved the State of Virginia even more money, but he failed at that as badly as he failed at bank robbery or being a man.

Clearly this was proof that Stokes’ big heaping bag of crazy was a serious medical condition that required immediate castration by competent professionals.

“This is not a choice. Transsexuals are born and not made,” said psychiatry professor George R. Brown at East Tennessee State University, an expert in gender identity disorder. “If you didn’t have this condition, why would you want to have your genitals removed, if not by a competent surgeon but by your own hand?”

I’m not a professor of psychiatry, but I will go ahead and guess that it’s a symptom of a severe mental breakdown. Crazy people also try to chop off their fingers. Does that mean they were really born fish?

Assuming that the things that crazy people do to themselves establishes some form of genetic identity is well… crazy.

Stokes had a criminal record that included 17 different convictions. He was found guilty of robbery seven times, three times for weapons violations, one for malicious wounding, one for sodomy, and two for drug offenses. And apparently some of these crimes were even carried out to raise money for his sex change operation.

Now that he was in prison, Michael switched to holding up the taxpayers to pay for his plan to become a woman using the ACLU as his gun.

But the craziness marched on to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Hearing the case were Justice Diana Gribbon Motz, the first woman from Maryland to sit on the Fourth Circuit, Justice Albert Diaz, the first Puerto Rican to sit on the Fourth Circuit and Justice Robert Bruce King, who, unless he got a sex change operation or moved to Puerto Rico, would always be just another white guy.

King and Motz were Clinton nominees. Diaz was an Obama nominee who was nearly kept off the bench by a Republican filibuster but who made it anyway. And brilliant legal scholar that he is, Diaz wrote an opinion claiming that the failure to castrate Stokes violates the Eight Amendment’s Cruel and Unusual Punishment provision thereby making it Unconstitutional

This is your justice system. This is your justice system on crack.

De’lonta’s complaint alleges that, in light of their knowledge of her ongoing risk of self-mutilation, Appellees’ continued denial of consideration for sex reassignment surgery constitutes deliberate indifference to her serious medical need in violation of the Eighth Amendment.

…just because Appellees have provided De’lonta with some treatment consistent with the GID Standards of Care, it does not follow that they have necessarily provided her with constitutionally adequate treatment.

…although Appellees and the district court are correct that a prisoner does not enjoy a constitutional right to the treatment of his or her choice, the treatment a prison facility does provide must nevertheless be adequate to address the prisoner’s serious medical need.

There is a story about the family who lets a boy pretend to be a chicken because they needed the eggs. The left has similarly become entangled in insanity because it needs the power that comes from it.

Who is the real lunatic in this story?

Is it Michael Stokes, the bank robber who tried to castrate himself with some disposable razor blades and who gets upset every time he sees his female therapist? Or is it Diana, Albert and Robert? Or is it the entire system that pandered to the insanity of a mentally ill man instead of sending him to a mental institution, and that will end up spending 20 grand to castrate him because the failure to castrate a criminal who wants to be castrated is now considered to be an Unconstitutional form of Cruel and Unusual Punishment?

The Founders would have considered castrating a criminal to clearly be Cruel and Unusual Punishment. But Liberalism, in its infinite wisdom, considers it a civil right.
