The Threat from Londonistan – Foreign Policy

In January 2009, the head of Britain’s Security Service (also known as MI5) boasted that his agents were succeeding in cracking down on potentially violent homegrown Islamists. Although conceding that “the battle [was] not won,” Jonathan Evans told the Daily Telegraph that his agents were forcing would-be terrorists “to keep their heads down.” He went […]

Geert Wilders’ Witness List Cut Down To Three In Medieval Amsterdam Trial

The fix is in at the Amsterdam Criminal Court.  Today, the Judges hearing the Inciting to Hatred trial (read that: No more political free speech in the Netherlands – ever) of Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders slashed the number of witnesses he may call to testify in his defense from 18 to three.  It’s all right [...]

David B. Rivkin Jr. and Marc A. Thiessen: A Tale of Two Terrorists – WSJ.com

The Obama administration’s decision to read the Christmas Day bomber his Miranda rights has rightly come under withering criticism. Instead of a lengthy interrogation by officials with al Qaeda expertise, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was questioned for 50 minutes by local FBI agents and then later advised of his “right to remain silent.”It’s well understood that […]

Temple University Charges Unconstitutional ‘Security’ Fee for Geert Wilders Event; Dutch Trial Begins Today over Controversial Expression
January 20, 2010

Dutch politician Geert Wilders’ trial begins today in Amsterdam over his controversial remarks about terrorism and Islam. While such a trial would be unconstitutional in the United States thanks to the First Amendment, students at Temple University in Philadelphia are nevertheless facing an unconstitutional, after-the-fact security fee levied by the university for hosting a presentation by Wilders.
