After what just happened, I don’t know if any commentary is even needed.
One in three students believe some level of violence is acceptable to stop a campus speech, according to the results of a large-scale survey released Tuesday by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression.
The survey, which questioned more than 68,000 students at 257 colleges and universities nationwide on a variety of free speech topics, asked: “How acceptable would you say it is for students to engage in the following actions to protest a campus speaker? Using violence to stop a campus speech.”
Two percent said “always acceptable,” 13 percent said “sometimes acceptable,” and 19 percent said “rarely acceptable,” or about one-third of those surveyed.
The timing of the FIRE survey release is almost eerily letter perfect.
The murder of Charlie Kirk was not the action of one man, but of a culture that has been incubated on college campuses, that occasionally gets called ‘liberal’, but has no more in common with liberalism than Al Qaeda does.
Think about these numbers for a moment. From a huge sample size, 2% or 1,360 said it’s always acceptable to use violence to shut up people you oppose.
Over 10,000 college students found it acceptable to use violence some of the time.
College is the problem. Or rather the culture of extremism and indoctrination. The same culture that came after David Horowitz, came after multiple campus speakers including Ben Shapiro, that assaulted multiple conservative speakers, and now finally killed Charlie Kirk.
Does it end here? Not unless it gets shut down for good.

As part of my job, I visit children in elementary schools. It’s mostly indoctrination with less emphasis on education every year. History lessons are the worst. If these groomers can mold the children away from wanting a Republic with inalienable rights they can enslave them to whatever central bank malefactor wants to use and abuse them. “College is the problem.” Yes, but the educations system from pre-k through graduate school is the larger problem. Colleges have been so obvious in permitting the use of violence that the only thing they have not yet done is give college credits for violence. Although grades in some courses seem to involve participation in riots, occupations, and violence.

Hand power, and the guns needed to enforce that power, to hard men who will spill as much blood as needed to stop it. Savagely beat anyone who tries to shut down a speech, any student or administrator who encourages them (even if only verbally), and any rich donor who supports the administrator.

Right now, only one side is getting suppressed and attacked on campus, so there is no need for the other side to sit down and sue for peace.

Colleges, universities, and the school system are not the problem here. They are merely a symptom of a larger and more deadly gangrenous infection that has spread across the United States–and the rest of the world for that matter–like an aggressive, metastatic cancer. The real problem here is the world’s complete and utter rejection of God. The Bible clearly states in Matthew 24:12 that the love of mankind will literally become cold (i.e., hardened, unfeeling, unsympathetic, aggressive, and apathetic) because lawlessness is so rampant and commonplace. This is our society as we know it today.
When people reject the Living God of the Bible who uses His Holy Spirit to teach us how to be kind, loving, faithful, and just to one another the way God Himself is (and perfectly so), the void in our heart is filled with what the world, controlled by Satan, teaches us to do: hate, slander, murder, curse, harm, lie to, betray, gossip, exploit, and overrun others. I can’t upvote this post too many times. People look at process, politics, methodologies to control evil, but it starts right where you point to. The body politic is a direct institutionalization of the values/morals of ‘the people.’ Those values/morals must be common, an objective Truth, and upheld by each of those same people.
I have never understood why there is a belief that politics and personal values are some how separate — like politics is some kind of sport, wholly and separate from who we are.

Prolonged feelings of hatred can alter brain chemistry, leading to increased stress and negative health effects.
I am suggesting that this altered chemistry results in moving from an intermittent state of arousal to a chronically, governing state allowing for the metastatic convergence of both the ideological brainwashing with the biochemical, hate-driven induction of brain-chemistry changes allowing for not only the widespread approval of violence as evidenced in their ongoing rhetoric but also in their increasingly violent actions. Assassinations are the resultant dissolution of frontal lobe usage under the rabid influence of hate-driven ideology preempting any true, rational, moral governance being replaced with an unending bath of the chemical stasis facilitating neurological hatred becoming the motivating aggression in murdering innocent people without a shred of remorse.
Thus, college-aged young people, still in the midst of their permanent, frontal-lobe development, are easily manipulated targets becoming the psychopathic zombies doing the killing of their slave masters.
Time for conservatives to understand the truth and learn how to adequately counter this. It seems that Charlie Kirk knew the difference between condemning the person and engaging them in factual dialogue requiring them to begin learning to think on their own and consider others. In many ways these young people have never been asked to seriously do so and it provided them with an environment facilitating their slowly emerging from fear in order to do so.
