Lewiston is ground zero for the Somali Muslim presence in Maine. And it shows.
The Lewiston Police Department has released surveillance footage of a gunman in Lewiston opening fire.
The video is of the second of two shootings in four days near a mosque on Bartlett Street.
Lewiston police say it’s an area with a high volume of shootings over the past year.
What might be attracting these unknown shooters to the area? Besides the mosque?
Several witnesses told police a young, black male across the street fired multiple rounds from a handgun toward the Maine Immigrant and Refugee Services building and nearby parked cars.
Perfect. More ‘contributions’ to Lewiston’s incredible diversity.
Lewiston Mayor Carl Sheline called the president’s assertion that Somali immigrants contribute nothing to society “shameful and inaccurate.”
“Here, Somali entrepreneurs are business owners and hard workers, creating jobs and strengthening our local economy,” Sheline said in a written statement on Wednesday. “Their active role within our City has been instrumental in Lewiston’s revitalization, making such rhetoric not only cruel but clearly false.”
Very inaccurate. Can’t Trump see these incredible contributions being made near a refugee services center and a mosque?

What the mayor actually means is that the Somalis have created a lot of fraud schemes to draw Federal money to the town that they leech off.
Sounds like Mayor Sheline is enjoying the benefits of fraud. Paul Lepage, the great former of governor of Maine, grew up in Lewiston. He was the oldest of 18 children and would stay up late to make sure his alcoholic father didn’t burn down their apartment building. He left home at the age of 11 because his dad beat him to a bloody pulp. He supported himself working odd jobs until he got himself into college, Not one of his siblings made it past 8th grade. As Governor he skipped the MLK day hosted by the NAACP. When asked by a reporter what he would say to NAACP members who were offended he said “tell them they can kiss my ass.” Paul Lepage is rolling in his grave and he’s not even dead yet.
Unfortunately, I have had to work in that town before. The original non-Somali residents there are 100% fed up with the so-called refugees.
so what are they doing to fix the situation?

The “our” referenced in that slogan is the radical left.
Attracting taxpayer funds from other states to your small town via the dole isn’t virtuous, Mr. Mayor.

In the parlance of Attourney Kim Foxx, these are “mutual combatants”.
So there is not there there to prosecute them!
A) Someone in the Immigration Agency has a side hustle and there is a “business” dispute,
B) Immigrants are suppose to get “x” amount of goods and services. Networked immigrants get a lot more. the shooter feels cheated that he is not getting the special graft and corruption amount.
What does Charity Navigaotr give the agency for a rating? They are probably as naive or purposefully blinkered as Transparency International IMO.
