Secretary of War Pete Hegseth won two battles in a row, taking down the ‘wokening’ of the Boy Scouts and Iran.
One of the casualties of wokeness had been the Boy Scouts which went from a conservative and patriotic organization to making DEI mandatory, welcoming in girls and then welcoming them to sleep with boys who claim to be girls.
Last November, Hegseth announced that he was cutting the military’s ties with the woke organization. Now an agreement has been hammered out with what used to be the Boy Scouts (currently Scouting America.)
Scouting America has also agreed to discontinue its “citizenship in society” merit badge, which made it mandatory for those with the rank of Life Scout to “realize the benefits of diversity, equity, inclusion and ethical leadership,” prior to being allowed to advance to the rank of Eagle Scout, according to Scouting America’s official website.
The organization also changed a policy that didn’t distinguish between male and female participants’ biological sex at birth.
“Accordingly, Scouting America membership applications will continue to only provide ‘male’ and ‘female’ as sex designations. Scouting America will enact a policy that indicates that biological boys and biological girls will not be permitted to share intimate spaces, including toilets, showers and tents,” the MOU continues, adding that similar policies will be enacted toward scout leaders, volunteers, staff and any other individuals involved with the scouts.
In addition to the first three actions regarding the rollback of DEI outlined in the memo, the document also lists a pair of changes that are meant to be conducive to the War Department and Scouting America getting back into a mutual alignment that promotes the “frontiersman ethos,” which prepped young men for the military and supported recruitment throughout the services.
I’m not assuming that everything is fine now, but it shows that you can use leverage to force rollbacks of wokeness, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is not afraid to use that power.

Baden Powell was very cool.
Maybe Hegseth should rename the War Department to Total War Department. Philip of Macedon and Alexander would’ve loved this guy.
oh look the mole troll trannies uber alles is giving thumbs down – there is a sick trannies uber alles freak trolling FPM today —
mi heffy Jeffy, I like the cut of your jib sir. ‘ trannies uber alles’ now that’s the whisky ice cubes in the scotch.
I am working out a deal with the ghost of Paddy Chayefsky to write “Network 2” – Paddy likes your prism too.
I can hear it now:
“I’m as mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore from the trannies uber alles fake news propaganda and censorship and the deep state deadheading to the antichrist!”
“Leverage” or just COMMON SENSE and DECENCY?? There was a REASON for BOY Scouts and GIRL Scouts!
How in the world parent driven Boy Scouts got so satanic has got to be signs of the Biblical prophesy times we are in now deadheading to the antichrist until Christ Messiah returns – good because my back hurts so much today I can think of nothing cleverer to say – but I do like mi heffy Jeffy’s ‘trannies uber alles’ – that should be in “Network 2” which I am the ghost of Paddy Chayefsky are going to write. I sure would like the mind of mi heffy Jeffy to be involved.
I was a Boy Scout back in the late 60’s. Scouting back then was for Boys to be mentored by good Men how to be gentlemen in the classical sense when they became adults, My, my have times changed. Strange times indeed. Liberals destroy everything that works.
Yes, and now they need to Change “Scout Life” back to “Boy’s Life.” It was a good enough a title for 110 years from 1911 to 2021, until some rainbow flag waving, Robert Dorgan type sicko who thought boys could use girls pronouns and “Scout Master” is some kind of pedo title came along.
Western culture has been under attack for over a century. Postmodernism has been the core mechanism.
Postmodernism is not a philosophy; it is an anti-philosophy—deliberately amorphous, infinitely malleable, and proudly untethered to truth. It emerged as a culmination of corrosive trends in Western thought, rooted in the skepticism of Kant, the dialectical smoke of Hegel, and the economic determinism of Marx. By the late 1800s, Western academia had begun turning inward, arguing not only about God and man, but even about the existence of fairies—an era when metaphysical musings often replaced empirical investigation.
Postmodernism began to fade as the Industrial Revolution exposed the power of objective science and rational principles. The American public turned away from mysticism and metaphysical games in favor of hard-earned technological progress and real prosperity. But in the 1960s, postmodernism resurfaced in liberal arts programs on college campuses, wrapped in tie-dye and protest slogans. Though it never gained full cultural dominance then, it laid ideological seeds in academia that would later germinate.
Then came the collapse of the Soviet Union. With the Iron Curtain torn down, the Marxist experiment was publicly and definitively discredited. Capitalism had won. Or so we thought.
Rather than admit defeat, the ideological Left changed masks. In the mid-1990s—particularly around 1996—a distinct and measurable resurgence of postmodern curriculum began to appear on university campuses. This was no coincidence. Postmodernism had returned, not as a cultural curiosity but as an intellectual life raft—brought back to rescue Marxism from the ash heap of history.
By abandoning reason, objectivity, and language itself as reliable tools, postmodernism gave Marxism the perfect post-truth environment to hide within. Marxism, now cloaked in critical theory, identity politics, and the language of “lived experience,” could no longer be falsified—because under postmodernism, truth itself was “a construct.” The Left had discovered the ultimate philosophical cheat code: a worldview that allowed them to assert anything, deny everything, and never be held intellectually accountable.
Postmodernism didn’t just survive the death of Marxism—it became its ghost, its camouflage, its philosophical zombie.
