Democrats had intended to oust former Rep. Eric Swalwell, the former front runner in the California governor’s race, to clear the way for former Rep. Katie Porter. But there may be an unintended ripple effect for Swalwell’s best political pal, Sen. Ruben Gallego, who had posed shirtless with Swalwell on a trip to Qatar, and allegedly appears in a video of Swalwell manhandling a woman. I’m not posting the video because in the age of AI, it’s hard to tell what’s real and what isn’t, but if it is, no one will be too surprised.
Sen. Gallego is weepily disavowing his former pal whose campaign he had backed.
“Eric Swalwell lied to all of us … My friendship with him, our family’s friendship together with him, clouded my judgement, and I was wrong. I deeply, deeply regret that,” Gallego told reporters.
The senator said he never saw any indication of improper conduct from Swalwell, but that “we all heard rumors in Washington, D.C., about Eric Swalwell for many years.”
“This man led a double life,” Gallego said. “He lied to us, he lied to his family, he lied to his constituents, some of the most powerful people in this country.
“Even before he ran, he was trusted with some positions that normally you would never think someone like this could do if they’re leading that double life,” the senator continued. “And again, I was manipulated, I was lied to and everyone else was too.”
Uh-huh.
Some people are noting Gallego’s ugly divorce case, his former legislative nickname of ‘The Troll’ and the harassment complaint that had been filed against him in the past by two fellow legislators.
Democrats obviously have no desire to oust Gallego which means the media will protect him. If they can. But sometimes ops spin out of control. Just like #MeToo did. And Gallego could be collateral damage.
Time to flush this DemoRat turd.

It is difficult to understand HOW these cretinous politicians can still THINK they can get away with this disgusting behavior…After the actions of Bill Clinton in the Oval and OTHER misdeeds performed by him and those like him, you would think that these fools would KNOW better.
I have zero sympathy for EITHER party ….. We pay these men and women to WORK FOR US…and this is what that do instead.

Nor are both parties equally implicated: entitled, corrupt perverts are naturally attracted by the lure of arbitrary power, which means they tend to join the Democrat Party.
Um…….Gallego is who was taking the video of Swalwell with the prostitute on the bed.
Rep Luna told Jesse Watters on FOX yesterday that she has evidence that the person who held the camera was another prosititute and that that girl was also underage.

HaHa Collateral damage from Swalwell. Since Gallego resigning won’t change the partisan composition of the Senate (he will be replaced by a Democrat), the Democrats aren’t too worried – but it will open up another Senate seat for special election that they will have to spend money on. I wonder if there is any way to take out GA’s senators, which would be temporarily replaced by Republicans?
Let’s hope so. Kari Lake was right about him.
Crocodile tears. Gallego is a scumbag too. And, he happens to my my senator along with Mark Kelly. I suggest a clean sweep of Gallego, Kelly and Swalwell. The country would be in a much better position if that happened.
