The Al Qaeda leader who took over Syria, Ahmed Al-Sharaa aka Mohammed Al-Jolani, aka Mr. President, paid a visit to the White House just in time for the anniversary of the Battle of Fallujah. He played meet and greet with various political notables and, after a pressure campaign by the Muslim Brotherhood, dismantled the sanctions on Syria.
And, in the best news of all, the Al Qaeda government will join the coalition against his former buddies in ISIS.
The Jolani visit was the culmination of 14 years of regime change efforts in Syria which claimed to be “democratic” and which skeptics, like me, called a Jihadist and Islamist trojan horse. Long after those efforts were politically discredited by the revelation that the “free” and “democratic” movements we were backing were really Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda took over.
And we’re partnering with moderate Al Qaeda against extremist Al Qaeda so that Al Qaeda doesn’t win.
Turkey’s Erdogan regime pulled off the original takeover under the Biden administration which withdrew the $10 million bounty on Al-Jolani, but the Trump administration didn’t have to ratify this abomination, let alone invite the leader of a terrorist group that murdered Americans to the White House. No agreement Al-Jolani will make amounts to anything more than the familiar “saying ‘nice doggie’ until you find a stick”. Negotiating with Islamic terrorists has never worked out for us, whether in Afghanistan or Gaza, it won’t work out for us in Syria either.

Al-Jolani has the same sick sweet smile common to many psychopaths, as well as muslims engaging in the “obligatory” (I really hate that word “obligatory”) act of lying to Infidels. Trump is making a big mistake here.
Unfortunately this has been the consistent bipartisan US foreign policy since 2001 under all administrations–whether Bush, Obama, Trump or Biden.. I remember attending a seminar at Johns Hopkins Nitze School of Advanced International Studies in 2003 at which Professor Fred Starr, a Eurasia expert, said the US would preserve the Taliban to take power once again in Afghanistan–and that indeed eventually happenedin the Biden Administration. At the same time I interviewed a top official at the Eurasia Foundation who told me that “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” when I asked him about Islamic fundamentalists being supported by the US in Central Asia. I couldn’t believe this was really US policy at the time, because it seemed so dangerous and counterproductive, but nowadays I certainly do believe this was the intention of American leadership. For some inexplicable reason the US establishment just loves to support Islamic fundamentalists–whether in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, or nowadays in New York, Toronto, London, Paris or Berlin. If someone could explain this inner workings of this dynamic, it would go a long way towards helping find a solution to the problem which threatens to destroy the American way of life in particular, and Western civilization in general.
There are no “terrorists” in international commerce. The only “enemies” of the politicians who grease the wheels of world “trade” are those who stand in the way of maximizing profits. There is no other reality. Money, power and corruption are the id, ego and superego of 21st century schizoid man.
Syria
Major Natural Resources (2010 information)
Oil ($3.2 billion annual, 2.5 billion barrels reserve)
Natural Gas (8.5 trillion cubic feet)
Phosphate (1,700 million tons reserve)
Agricultural Land (4.6 million arable hectares)
Cement (major producer of cement in the Middle East)
Other Major Minerals (metallic and non-metallic, steel, salt, gypsum, chrome ore, manganese ore, marble, gypsum, industrial salt)
Consumer Goods Market (Syria population 2025: 25.9 million consumers for Amazon, Google, Apple, Microsoft, etc.)
Investment Potential (Blackrock, Vanguard, etc.) 2025 example from Syqora Group:
“Supply Chain As Strategy: Supply chains in Syria are no longer static. They’re strategic. The brands and builders entering the market need partners that can manage complexity without delay. From port to project, retail floor to rooftop antenna, Syqora Group we keep materials flowing and deadlines intact. ‘The country’s rebuilding,’ one logistics director told us. ‘But what makes the difference is how fast you can move what matters.’ The opportunity isn’t just to transport. It’s to lead the movement.”
Barring a convoluted positive re-interpretation of current facts and history, it seems that American foreign policy’s intent is to prevent a strong Israel, and that, that very intent will most likely irreparably weaken America. Only from good comes good; and this ain’t good.
It also seems to me that Trump has organized and heads his own
UN-type entity composed entirely of the same immoral, corrupt, hostile-to-Israel UN countries, many of which truly should not exist, whose very creation came about to prevent the rebirth of the nation of Israel in her homeland; and he and his ‘negotiators’ have also redefined and reduced Israel’s role to that of observer status. What an accomplishment. A self congratulatory diplomatic achievement worthy of the elders of Chelm.
Well, as always, God’s hand, not any human’s, will have to stop this game, rearrange or knock off pieces on the board, (‘cause it’s a dirty game that’s being played by cheats with shifting rules), and then resume ‘play’.
Gird your loins, America.
I wouldn’t worry to much about Israel. They have plenty of nukes and neutron weapons and the will to use them if necessary. The last thing those Islamic savages want to do is provoke the Israelis into using them, A few well placed neutron weapons can quickly depopulate a large area without destroying infrastructure.
Perhaps if those ignorant sand monkeys learned some science they would understand the devastating consequences of neutron weapons. If not, then perhaps the Israelis should educate them with a demonstration……!
!00% agreed. Since 1948 American -as well western world- Middle Eastern policy has been to prevent Israel to became dominant regional power. And the reason is oil. All started with the discovery of oil, fallowed by Sykes–Picot Agreement, which it tried stop the creation of Jewish state. that may inhibit the great powers of the time from controlling the region.
Following Sykes–Picot Agreement, , Churchill gave 78% of the mandate to illegitimate Saudi clan called The Hashemites. Then FDR sign collaboration agreement with King Saud and kept everyone else out of the region.. In reality all backfired. Because desert rats are must resilient and smarter than any enlightened westerner.
Sadly Trump is following in the footsteps of Churchill, FDR, Carter, Reagan, Bush and the rest. No matter how hard Trump or anyone else tries. The ME map will be redrawn along, ethnic, religious and geographical boundaries. The question is how much blood will be wasted in the process
A President of the “free world” entertaining the blood-soaked hands of a radical, Islamic Jihadi in the people’s’ White House seeking to create a cooperative peace in the Middle East while in Syria there is an ethnic-religious cleansing going on.
What could possibly be wrong with this picture and who in the hell does Trump think he is in doing so?
This is completely abominable and is calling Trump’s judgment into serious question. Next, will he entertain the Ayatollah Khomeini?
What unwarranted smugness and self promotion at the expense of our nation.
My trust in this man is plummeting daily and his actions are becoming deeply disturbing.
