Order Robert Spencer’s new book, Holy Hell: Islam’s Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who Enable It: HERE.
No Nigerian prince ever came up with a more sure-fire get-rich-quick scheme: if you want to be a millionaire, and fast, without putting in any of the work of starting a business or inventing something useful or working hard in some established and lucrative field, get yourself elected to Congress. Parrot the far-left, most anti-American line imaginable. And lo and behold, the money will roll in, and before your first term is up, you’ll be putting a down payment on that McMansion you’ve been eyeing over on Easy Street.
The latest contestant on Who Wants to Be a Congressional Millionaire is Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Workers’ Paradise), who was decidedly testy Wednesday when she was asked how she accumulated a net worth of $9 million on a congressional salary of $174,000, which she has been drawing since 2019. “Sir,” she said in hot indignation, “I submit a financial disclosure, just like everybody else. There’s nothing to see here.”
Of course there isn’t. The people who make sure that their congressional mouthpieces are handsomely remunerated for their trouble are smart enough to make sure that all the i’s are dotted and all the t’s crossed. To allow one of their best assets to be tripped up because of a sloppy financial disclosure form would be a rookie mistake. Everyone involved also knows not to get too specific or detailed about such matters, and so it was no surprise that, as Fox News noted laconically, Pressley’s “office did not respond to additional requests for comment.”
Fox also reported that in addition to raking in the dough, Pressley has been spending it with manic energy: “Despite a climbing net worth, Pressley has also accumulated sizable debt worth up to $9 million, according to records.” Questions linger because “according to financial disclosures, Pressley’s worth went from $12,500 before she was elected in 2018 to up to $8 million in 2024.” Nice work if you can get it.
Pressley’s financial disclosure reports “reveal that most of her current wealth comes from two sources.” One of them is Conan Harris & Associates. Conan Harris is Pressley’s husband, and his consulting firm “brought in between $100,000-$1,000,000 in 2024.” Intriguingly, “the company was founded in 2019 — the year Pressley began her time in office.”
Conan Harris & Associates, however, is small potatoes. “The majority of Pressley’s wealth, however, is in real estate. Four rental properties in Mattapan, Boston and Edgartown, Massachusetts, brought in a combined revenue between $95,000 and $250,000 last year.
One more, purchased in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, reported an income of between $50,000 and $100,000. Pressley bought that property in 2024.”
Just as Hillary Clinton long ago made a most improbable killing on the stock market, so now Ayanna Pressley has played the real estate game with extraordinary skill. “In total, Pressley’s Massachusetts rentals combined for a net worth of between $2.5 million and $8 million.” Her massive debt is from acquiring property; “she added all of those liabilities during her time in office between 2019 and 2023.”
No doubt Ayanna Pressley is as honest as the day is long. She’s just extremely clever and resourceful, right? Sure. And it’s just a total coincidence that she is not even close to being Congress’ only newly minted millionaire. Back on January 22, President Donald Trump wrote: “Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is worth over $30 Million Dollars. There is no way such wealth could have been accumulated, legally, while being paid the salary of a politician. She should be investigated for Financial and Political Crimes, and that investigation should start, NOW!”
Like Pressley, Omar ostensibly makes $174,000 a year. Did she, also, make a killing in real estate? Or did she get rich some other way? However it happened, it’s striking that Congress is filled with so many financial geniuses who figured out a way to become multimillionaires extremely quickly, and yet were such selfless and dedicated servants of the people that they decided to run for office instead of using their financial acumen full-time to amass even greater wealth. What a remarkable coincidence!
If the American people are ever going to drain the swamp fully and uncover the full extent of the corruption in Washington, members of Congress will have to be forbidden to accept even a penny more than their congressional salaries for any reason whatsoever. That measure, however, would have to pass Congress, and who among today’s congressional corruptocrats would support it?

In other Nations Traitors are hanged in America the join the Democrat Party
Why would they end the corruption that is making them so wealthy?
Yes and corruption is what got them elected in the first place.
I’ve always maintained that getting elected to office is far more financially rewarding than winning the lotto. The average person will splurge and buy 5, maybe 10 dollars on a lottery ticket when the lottery gets large enough.
A person (i.e., huster) running for elected office will spend hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars running for office. Why? Because of what I said in the latter part of my opening sentence.
It is not corruption, it is a very solid and dedicated attack on the foundations of US democracy.
The money filters in across borders from our enemies. It changes hands through front organizations.
This is a technique used since the birth of bolshevism.
What? And here I thought Ayanna Pugsley got rich from Netflix for playing the new Lex Luthor in the live action Superman movies and cartoon movies. Netflix is almost the woke tranny pedo peddler as Disney is, you know. I heard Pugsley’s favorite shows are “Big Mouth” and “Cuties.”
No doubt tranny groups and NAMBLA are big donors for her coffers.
Funny how these women in Congress or the Senate who suddenly got rich quick always “blame” it on their husband. Oh, and Pressley should consider investing in a good wig.
It’s not likely CONgrASS will vote for term limits and will cease the corruption. Why stop the gravy train but get others of low ethics and morals to get into the line for their gravy, And for some demonic reason, these pekkerheads keep getting reelected.
Any sources of income other than salary must immediately put into Social Security and Medicare to replace all the billions stolen to provide to BS items and handouts. And true VA support to include widows of retired veterans, every one should draw the widows pension.
The congressional rats In my opinion have all been milking America for ever . All of them I’m sure ! Many of them have been stealing money from social security for years.
If a citizen of the USA had the same increases in wealth working a job with the same income as this leftist, he would come under scrutiny. There should be a congressional investigation into Pelosi, Omar and Pressley, Biden and Obama. This blows the narrative that they are “serving the people”. They are serving themselves with heaps of cash.
This exposes their hypocrisy.
