Yasser Abu Shabab is the leader of one of the largest clans in Gaza, and is fighting against Hamas. More on him can be found here: “‘No stopping a civil war against Hamas,’ Gaza militia chief Abu Shabab tells KAN,” Jerusalem Post, July 7, 2025:
Yasser Abu Shabab, leader of the allegedly Israel-backed, anti-Hamas Popular Forces group, revealed to Israeli public broadcaster KAN on Sunday that his militia is actively working against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, particularly operating in the Rafah area.
“There is no stopping a civil war against Hamas,” Abu Shabab said in the interview.
He told KAN that those who comprise his militia do not belong to any political or organizational ideology. However, Abu Shabab told Army Radio in an interview last month that he denied working with Israel and confirmed his group’s relationship with the Palestinian Authority. In that interview, he said that he wouldn’t rule out cooperating with the IDF on issues such as humanitarian aid distribution in the future….
Abu Shabab may deny working with Israel, but he is believed to have accepted weapons from the IDF; for obvious reasons, he keeps quiet about that. And he knows that his forces, and the IDF, share a common goal: to fight against and destroy Hamas. He has also said that he could see his group cooperating with the IDF on the distribution of humanitarian aid and similar issues, no doubt including the rebuilding of hospitals and schools. He claims to be open to people of all ideologies — except for Hamas, which is the Gazan branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. He also said that he has a relationship to the Palestinian Authority, which is Hamas’ bitter enemy, but offered no details.
He’s blaming Hamas, not Israel, for the Gaza War, and the misery that the war that Hamas started on October 7, 2023 has brought to so many people in Gaza. The “aggression” he deplores is that of Hamas, not the IDF. It’s a remarkable statement from a Palestinian leader in Gaza.
Abu Shabab is known to be receiving military assistance from Israel. Financial assistance — to pay his men — may come from the Arab enemies of Hamas, including the Emirates and Saudi Arabia, whose leaders would not want a Gazan enclave ruled by an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization that is a direct threat to the Arab monarchies of the Gulf. Logistical support, however, could only come from the IDF, that has mapped out every part of Gaza and knows the positions, the weapons, the command-and-control centers, of all the forces belonging to Hamas.
Abu Shabab claimed that after Hamas leaves power, the Popular Forces will rule the enclave afterwards. “Hamas knows and understands this; the Popular Forces will be the heirs in Gaza after they are crushed and defeated,” KAN quoted him….
The Popular Forces is the name being given to the collective of local clans opposed to Hamas, of which the Abu Shabab’s clan is one part, albeit one of the most powerful.
Keenly aware of Hamas’ weakness, and of his own clan’s power — it has many hundreds of fighters, with more recruits, including non-family members, streaming in to join the group in its war with Hamas, and has been well provided with arms by the IDF — Abu Shabab is simply going to let the ultimatum pass. He knows Hamas is no longer capable of imposing its will on the powerful families like his own.
Hamas won’t dare to attack him when the ten-day ultimatum ends. It knows that if it is bloodied by Abu Shabab and his men, the humiliation will be so great as to efface completely whatever little authority it had left. Hamas doesn’t want to risk it. But in failing to enforce its own ultimatum, it will also be humiliated. In Gaza, what’s to come is still unsure, but one thing is certain: Hamas will be out of the picture, militarily and politically, and very likely, physically as well.
Time to cut off all funding and support to Hamas make it a Crime(Punishible with Life in Prison)for all those who support Terrorists and this means George Soros and his Son

He was the creator of the ideology that led to the Iranian revolution in 1979 and was assassinated by the CIA created secret police of Iran, the SAVAK,in 1977
It was NOT Khomeini who was the most important figure,like you see in the Western documentaries. Shariati, French speaker and friend of the famous FRANZ FANON. How many of you ever heard a Western ”expert” on Iran mention his astonishing influence?

The road to the Iranian revolution,which had a Muslim element but not 100%,began in 1953. The revolution exploded in 1979, 26 years later.
Today 60%-70% of Iran’s 90 million are EX-Muslims.

TORTURE people for the pleasure of torturing. Relatively few were executed.Nassiri didn’t want to execute,his satisfaction was torture and torture and torture for its own sake.
Did you know who was also a prisoner of SAVAK and Nassiri?
It was ALI SHARIATI.
For 18 MONTHS ( 1973 to 1975) he was tortured by Nassiri,then released, got asylum in the UK and in 1977 Shariati died.How did he die? All the EX-Muslims in Iran know how. Shariati was ASSASSINATED by SAVAK under orders from Nassiri.
Then there is the famous, among the 75%-80% of Iranians who are ANTI-theocracy, plot of 1982 to OVERTHROW Khomeini and establish a republic along the ideas of ALI SHARIATI, the ideologue of the 1979 revolution.
Ali Shariati is widely recognized as the MAIN ideologue of the Iranian revolution. In his books Shariati presents a mix of ideas: traditional Muslim-Shia thought, radical Islamic fundamentalism, mystical Sufism, Western existentialism, dialectical Marxism, and anti-imperialism.
1. But first,what is a GRAND AYATOLLAH,not ayatollah,there are many,but the highest of all?
Ayatollah is Arabic for ”sign of God”.
The Grand Ayatollah is the highest spiritual authority of the Twelver Shia Muslims all over the world,almost a POPE.
There are officially 160 million twelvers. 60% of Iraqis are Twelver Muslims,officially 95% of Iranians. They are 30% of Lebanese,like the member of Hezbullah. 20 million in Pakistan,etc.
2. Shariati frequently employs the term LOVE ,so central to sufi mysticism. Very different man from who? From Khomeini.
Shariati had a place for Islam in Iran,but his Islam is similar to what in the West?
To the LIBERATION THEOLOGY that appeared where Jesus is a promoter of SOCIAL JUSTICE.
3. In contrast to conservative Shias who respected the CLERGY, Shariati attacks them claiming they have no monopoly of religion.
4. Like MARXISTS,and he was a Marxist,he was for the emergence of the New Man,the Ideal Man who he defines as:
””He holds the sword of Caesar in his hand and he has
the HEART of JESUS in his breast.
He thinks with the BRAIN of SOCRATES and loves God with
the heart of Hallaj”.
Very different from KHOMEINI was Shariati.
HALLAJ was a Persian Sufi mystic,poet famous for being killed in Bagdad by the caliph for saying,”I am the TRUTH”.In the Quran one of the 99 names of Allah is ”the truth”. Hallaj was saying he was God.
1. There was an ultrasecret plot to overthrow Khomeini in 1982 and the only reason it was discovered was there were 2 spies in the group.
In 1982, the Grand Ayatollah ,who agreed with the ideas of who? Of Shariati,in 1982, he SEYED KAZEM SHARIATMANDARI along with 45 of the highest
RELIGIOUS and also many military officers,who all agreed with Shariati’s ideas,
were arrested because it was discovered they were trying to overthrow Khomeini. They accused him of becoming a dictator, tyrant,no better than who?
Than the shah.
The Grand Ayatollah was NOT killed because Khomeini knew if he did the whole Twelver world would have rose against him,killed him.
2. One of the plotters was the charismatic and famous spokesman of and disciple of Khomeini, SADEGH GHOTZBADEH.
He had been Iran’s Foreign Minister from 1979-1980.
Before the fall of the Shah, he was also one of the three TOP advisers of Khomeini, ALL three were liberal Iranians, not religious fanatics. Khomeini had lied to his three top collaborators.
Khomeini had literally LIED to them,to Western journalists and the other Iranian groups saying before the fall of the Shah that he was for a liberal democracy, Western-style government.He left the Khomeini government in 1980.
Ghotzbadeh appeared live on TV after his capture and said:
“I am shamed before the nation. Free me or execute me.”
With that dramatic statement, Sadegh Ghotbzadeh confessed on Iranian television.
Ghotbzadeh stated the plot was with the Grand Ayatollah and would involve KILLING Khomeini.
After that, attacks were to be launched against headquarters of the police, the Revolutionary Guards and radio and television stations.
Ghotbzadeh was executed by firing squad in 1982.
Both are heroes of the 75%-80% of Iranians who are ANTI-theocracy,and 60-70% of Iran’s 90 million are EX-Muslim. How many of you know all that?
The plot by the Grand Ayatollah SEYED KAZEM SHARIATMANDARI
is also impressive because he was also motivated by his opposition to the following:
a. The Grand Ayatollah did NOT agree with the 1979 referendum created by Khomeini where he got 98% of votes,for 2 reasons:
It only gave the voters one option,yes or no,for creating an ISLAMIC republic, there were no options for a SECULAR option.
The vote was NOT a secret vote, one would know who voted yes and who voted no.
b. And also Khomeini’s decision to send what would be TENS of thousands of CHILDREN ( 10,11,12,13,14,15 years old,etc) across fields full of MINES
so that the mines would EXPLODE,the children got killed, and then the regular Iranian soldiers could SAFELY cross and attack the Iraqi soldiers. Sadam Hussein began the 1980-1988 war that killed 1 million on both sides.
The children were told they would instantly go to paradise,they would be martyrs,dying for the Islamic republic.
There is more. Remember the principal intellectual leader that led to the Iranian revolution is ALI SHARAITI, who was assassinated in 1977 by NASSIRI,head of SAVAK,
created by the CIA for the shah,king,
but Nassiri also assassinated the first head of SAVAK,who had turned against the Shah. Later the HEIR apparent of Khomeini,the one who was to succeed him as Supreme Guide,leader of Iran, turned against him on humanitarian grounds,
and there was also the famous,famous for the 75%-80% of Iran’s 90 million who are anti-theocracy, 1980 plot to overthrow Khomeini that involved HUNDREDS of military officers,but all that is another story.
Abu Shabab is smart enough not to name his sources of support. If he does either Hamas or IDF will off his a$$.
This is news to me – What Israel should do in my view is to take Gaza and the West Bank back and relocate the citizens to adjacent Arab or myzzlym nations in a fully functional new city. They will be happier. A modern city with all the conveniences is something new to them

Palestinian Authority are not the “good” guys either.
If Israel agrees to another deal and moves its forces out of Rafah, Abu Shabab and his people will be slaughtered by Hamas the next day.
Israel has to stop trying to deal with the Hamas fat cats in Doha.
Israel has to deal with the Hamas fighters who are on the ground, and likely to be more interested in doing a deal to save their skin.
The Hamas fat cats in Doha want to keep their gravy train going as long as possible
