Insurrection works.
That’s going to be the takeaway if the anti-ICE riots succeed in weakening enforcement and stepping back raids in Minneapolis. President Trump has hard decisions to make. Midterms that may prove to be a tough battle are coming up and many Republicans are softening and viewing Minneapolis as a distraction. That’s exactly the weakness that the Left hoped to play on.
Yes, there’s a big picture when it comes to the midterms and presidential approval ratings, but there’s also more than one big picture.
Retreating on illegal aliens and on sanctuary states would be a big picture loss with big picture consequences even far down the road. And it more generally tells the Democrats that if they escalate the violence, they will get their way.
That means the riots won’t stop with ICE in Minneapolis. It will become the one-stop solution to everything.
Negotiating with terrorists, whether Islamic in Iran or Gaza, or Marxist/Islamic in America, doesn’t bring peace, it shows weakness and then the terrorism never ends and neither do the negotiations.
Ceding on ICE won’t buy peace. And it won’t even change the topic or end the violence.
There are very good arguments for why this administration should make domestic kitchen table economics its larger focus. If it doesn’t do that, the midterm situation may be catastrophic. But it can do that and fulfill core responsibilities like national defense. Immigration was a major reason, perhaps the biggest reason that Trump is here, because it embodies national survival. We can and should kick the can down the road on some global issues which have been too much the focus lately, but this is a primal issue which is why the Democrats have gone to the mattresses on it and why retreating on it would be a mistake.
Illegal aliens are the political power behind the ghost districts that Dems use to rig elections and maintain outsized political influence.
That’s why it’s the one battle they can’t afford to lose.
Republicans know that if Democrats get their way, they’ll add D.C. and Puerto Rico as states and pack the Supreme Court, effectively ending the American Experiment.
Democrats have a parallel fear. They’re terrified that their illegal alien base will disappear and take their fake census numbers and fake districts with it. And there goes their ‘new majority’ and their entire plan to take over the country. President Trump has done a great job of rolling back mass migration, but much of that is perception as illegal aliens have become afraid to come. If the administration signals weakness, the convoys will resume and the domestic riots will move to some other cause.
Damnit show some guts! There are still 20,000,000 illegal in the USA.

Trump doesn’t understand that compromise to a Democrat is viewed as weakness. Trump is out of his league. He’s getting rolled like he did in his first Administration.

So no matter what Trump does, the Blob, CIA, FBI, and the Leviathan Democrat apparatus (including the judiciary and all media except rogue dissidents delegitimized with smears of white supremacy) will use its power to paint Trump a fascist racist any time he moves to restore order in any manner, soft or hard as today’s FPM article shows.
All of this works because the majority of Americans (and the world) believe Trump is a fascist while most conservatives and Republicans who know he isn’t are cowards who self-silence because they’re terrified of being tarred and feathered with the “fascist” label themselves. The number one reason Trump was elected in both 2020 and 2024 was his promises to end illegal immigration. In 2024 that promise tied with his promise to fix the sabotage wrought on the country by Alzheimer Joe’s handlers in collusion with the D-Bags and RINOs in Congress but a tie for number one is still number one.
Well over 80% of Americans support ICE and oppose illegal alien child murderers, child rapists, child sex and slavery traffickers, murderers and rapists of adults, MS13 and Tren de Agua gang members who take over entire buildings for extortion and murder entire innocent families, illegal aliens with lengthy criminal records which usually include violence, and quite frankly, all illegal aliens period, although getting rid of all of them in only four years would be impossible and many of the non-criminal ones are decent people who do decent work. I can attest to that personally.

The problem is that of the 80% who support ICE, most won’t support the actions necessary to support ICE, such as shooting rioters with water (or bullets), impeaching and terrorizing judges (via doxxing) who rule based on compassion instead of law, or telling foreigners they have no right to come here and not caring who thinks that is racist.
Sure, they don’t like child murders. But they hate being called “mean” and “xenophobic” more than they hate child murderers.

It’s long past high time for judicial violence to be used against the insurrectionists, who represent a tiny minority and lunatic fringe of Americans who are also ALL weaklings. The overwhelming majority of Americans support ICE and its mission. Even fake CNN polls have 76% of blacks in support, and well over 80% of Latins and Whites. That means that the real figures are at least ten percentage points higher. You’ll all notice that there were no insurrections against any previous administrations, not even President Trump’s first one. This is pure TDS and supported by the Dirtbagocrat party in every way possible. Insurrection is an extremely illegal federal felony and a felony in all 50 states. Blocking streets is illegal. Destruction op property is illegal. Assault on citizens is a felony in all 50 states. interference with state and federal law enforcement officers are felonies.
This is not the time to retreat, it’s the time to go on the offensive, and that’s what the vast majority of Americans want. We need judicial use of fire hoses, attack dogs, billy clubs, bear spray and the enforcement of vagrancy laws against paid insurrectionists who invade cities to block streets, impede law enforcement, destroy property, commit assault and riot. Set the FBI on to their job of finding enemies of the state within the domestic population of the US.
Then start arresting, arraigning, and convicting them, before fitting them with domestic jump suits.
If they can track down little old ladies who were in DC but miles from the Capitol on Jan 6 they can track down those directing, organising, and funding the temper tantrum assaults on ICE.
If they say they can’t, then they aren’t willing to do their jobs and should be sacked on the spot.
One of Bondi’s major problems is finding a jurisdiction where they can try a lot of them, because in DC, among other places, one of them could proudly stand up and admit to it, and double down on it, on the stand and the jury would rise, cheer and applaud, and then acquit.
The same thing would happen in Minneapolis if you put Walt, Ellison, Frey, Ohmar, et all on the stand with cast iron cases against them.
Federal cases can be tried pretty much anywhere, as far as I know.

Some need help to go to a third country. We could also offer them a loan for education, home or business administered by a charity with a high loan repayment rate and financial education classes. These people were wronged by the Biden Administration, the UNWRA, various non-profits and cartels. We can show some mercy without violating immigration law. We saw what a mess Reagan’s amnesty caused! ICE could find out the needs of people scheduled to be deported and relay the info to a charity coordinator who could route the people to the nearest charity and dive up funds according to need. Most Americans feel sorry for these people. The ICE website could have a list of highly rated charities and allow people to donate for “resettlement aid.” As for those with criminal records, they could be routed to rehab in their country. Truly dangerous aliens should be routed to their county’s criminal justice system.

Yup. For whatever reason, Trump is overly focused on foreign affairs and hardly focused on the economy. Is he deaf and blind? We are a few months away from the mid-terms, his polling is awful, the economy is stalled, and his administration is doing a terrible job of communicating what and why he’s doing what ever it is he’s doing. We all know it comes down to the economy.
I have no idea why he is forging ahead the way that he is. He seems blinding to some basic truths. Perhaps his lust for a Nobel Prize? Bad advisors? Who knows. Ultimately there can be no excuses. He is the President and the buck stops with him. It’s frustrating to watch the administration going sideways and acting as if the economy is in great shape, as if regular folks should deny what they’re experiencing every day and listen to power brokers in the administration telling them everything’s going swimmingly. At the same time, the left (always brilliant at manipulation of language) has made “affordability” a central focus. It’s a great word because precious few people probably feel like anything is affordable. Ever. By repeating this word over and over (to the point that the Trump admin has now adopted it) its resonance increases.
So Trump carries on seemingly unaware and perhaps even shielded from the situation he is fueling related to the mid-terms. It’s his last term in office and being a narcissist he is ever-shielded from feeling any responsibility for a single thing that might go wrong. If things fall apart he will point fingers at any number of people but himself.
At the same time the GOP are acting like fools, blowing off one recent election after another where we’ve lost. Arrogant idiots! Every single election is vital and every American has a duty to vote for every single thing on the ballot.
In sum: We are poised to lose it all in November.
