California is really bad at prosecuting corruption in its own public official. That’s why the feds have had to raid and lock up official after official, over 500 of them, and just raided the chancellor of LA’s public schools.
But California’s attorney generals do have two vital functions
1. Getting caught up in corruption investigations
Attorney General Rob Bonta, Gov. Newsom’s handpicked successor, was forced to disclose spending $468,000 in campaign funds on lawyers due to, what he claims is, being a witness in a federal bribery investigation. That’s a lot of money for a mere “witness” to a bribery investigation (and how exactly does a state attorney general become a ‘witness’ to a bribery investigation without making any arrests), but Bonta explained that “the attorneys that I have had been working around the clock, to be responsive, to be efficient, to be comprehensive, to be completely forthcoming in all of our information that we were providing in an effort to assist and help.”
That’s a lot of lawyers working efficiently, comprehensively, forthcomingly and responsively around the clock to be on 24/7 call for a top official who hasn’t done anything wrong.
2. Locking up anyone who investigates them
California is also pretty good at going after anyone investigating their cronies. Just ask David Daleiden who committed the very serious crime of exposing Planned Parenthood’s baby parts business.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta today announced the felony conviction of David Robert Daleiden, along with co-conspirator Sandra Merritt, for criminally recording confidential communications with women’s healthcare providers.
“While the Trump Administration is issuing pardons to individuals convicted of harming reproductive health clinics and providers, my office is securing criminal convictions to ensure that Californians can exercise their constitutional rights to reproductive healthcare,” said Attorney General Bonta. “We will not hesitate to continue taking action against those who threaten access to abortion care — whether by recording confidential conversations or other means.”
Now, Bonta, when he isn’t being “completely forthcoming in all of our information”, is threatening anyone investigating Somali fraud.

But only uniformly enforced against anyone exposing the corruption of the ruling party in the one party state.
On the upside, Rob Bonta has no chance of being reelected and even less chance of beating Republican candidate for Governor, Steve Hilton, who is beating him by double digits in the fake political polls, which means he’s actually doing much better.
On a ridiculous note, Eric Swallowell is a distant second to Hilton but higher than the other Dems. Talk about fake methodology in polls.

Corrupt politicians are not off-limits, albeit I understand avoiding them at the moment.
Corrupt judges, agencies, government employees, NGOs, donors, etc. should be under investigation now.
The lack of progress in ‘swamp draining’ … is a tell to those of us in the know.
Yes, these investigations take time, and they require ‘sensitivity’ to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest or ulterior political motives.
BUT IT DOESN’T TAKE THIS LONG!
Some of us have been on the business end of such ‘lawfare’ attacks by the Demokkkrats …
… it only takes a few weeks at most to bring charges and arrests. Maybe a few months added for politcal advantage.
… THEN – after the arrest – and the BS charges – THEN it takes years and years – because the process is the punishment.
What’s really going on … corrupt Feds are DRAGGING their feet, stonewalling their superiors, and feeding the higher ups Bravo Sierra (and likely spoliating evidence and snickering about how ‘brilliant’ their tactics are) …

It’s a powerful AG flaunting that he is putting whistleblowers telling on corrupt lawbreakers and his political enemies in jail. No pulse from Don. What’s he have to do, rob Fort Knox? One of the whistleblowers Bonta prosecutes have his own celebrity show and steal 200 million for Don to notice?
Oddly enough the things Don ignores are things necessary to save the country. Whatever reason anyone can come up, they are a huge indictment of Don. I really hope it’s not controlled opposition, but it might as well be.

My brother is a Communist organizer there and has been since he – and believe it or not, his friends in the Jim Jones cult, helped rig the vote to get Jerry Brown elected. He mainly dealt in voter fraud and illegal immigration assistance, the snake. A tip on dealing with the massive corruption you face, Californians: don’t strike at the perps, there’s too many of them now.
Strike at the politicians, publicly and in organized groups. Make it impossible for them to leave their homes. Mock everything they do. Track their tax fraud and bribes and make it every day conversation. Make sure every attempted political campaign blows up in their faces by making it s laughing stock.
