Once the ICE raids began, first fringe Latino nationalist groups and then leftist activists began finding ways to interfere with raids. It started with cars tracking ICE and alerting illegals, then escalated to loud disruptions and physically blocking federal law enforcement and finally turned into open borders activists using moving vehicles to block or interfere with ICE.
This was only going to end one way. And so it did.
Now Renee Good, a leftist LGBTQ activist, is dead after using her SUV to try and block federal personnel before trying to run over one.
While this case happened in Minnesota, these tactics emerged out of California where an Obama judge decided to give a man who rammed his car into ICE vehicles a pass. The man was shot but he wasn’t killed.
Had California Dems decided to follow the law and hold him accountable, maybe Renee wouldn’t have thought that she’d get a free pass.
But Minnesota judges never got a chance to weigh in, because the ICE officer who fired, got it right this time.

State and local officials (and obviously the media) decided to scream bloody murder and wave the red shirt.
Gov. Tim Walz claimed that he gave the National Guard an order to be prepared to deploy “whatever it is: if it’s an act of nature, if it’s a global pandemic, or in this case, if it is a rogue federal agent. I don’t know this time.”
This is a stupid game and it’s the kind that ends with the worst prizes possible.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey claimed that the shooting wasn’t in self-defense, lying that “this was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying, getting killed” and ranting, “I have a message for ICE. To ICE: get the f___ out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here.”
Rather than deescalating, they’re escalating, which is exactly how this shooting happened.
Democrats are desperate to protect their illegal alien constituency and are pushing a civil war to keep their political plantation intact.
A piece of me hopes that the tampon baffoon Walts actually tries to sick the Minn Nat’l Guard on ICE.
The grifting sell-out would find out ASAP that he is a leader of nothing.
For the record, many in the Guard would take the “you can refuse an unlawful order” advice and resist an perfirming an actual unlawful order. (I doubt that’d be what chickenshit seditionist Pvt. Kelly had in mind, but that POS isn’t a leader either.)
Trump is ultimately in charge of any troops that Walz calls up or orders to do something. Pretty sure, but if anyone knows different… let me know. It’s a suicidal, stupid move by Walz if he does it, and Trump would be able to immediately rescind any order. The governor has to call them up, but the feds are in charge.
It’s more complicated than that, and more complicated still due to some recent Federal court orders in Illinois. Short version: the National Guard is under state control unless and until either Congress or the President (using laws on the books that Congress has in fact passed) “federalizes” them, in which case Trump becomes their Commander-in-Chief (except in D.C., where Trump is always CINC).
The Guard in Illinois has been activated by Trump under a particular statute but not deployed due to a Democrat court order. Trump is appealing that order and in the mean time can invoke a different law, called the Insurrection Act, if he chooses to. If Walz starts ordering the Minn. Guard to interfere with ICE or to arrest their officers, it will be a dangerous situation. Legally, I think Trump’s best option in that case would be to invoke the Insurrection Act and take over command of the Guard from Walz.
I also think Walz would be committing a federal felony if he tried to do that, but so far I’m unaware of any court precedent because no governor has tried a stunt like that since Orval Faubus (a Democrat, of course) tried to prevent desegregation of Little Rock Central High School in 1957.
This is what insurrection likes like. Democrats are the civil war party, have always been the civil party and will always be The Civil Party.

That means it wasn’t some youthful indiscretion – it was full blown dedication.

If this is their idea of insurrection then there’s no reason for anyone to be all that concerned or afraid. Democrats are pusillanimous numbskulls who only get their courage up in a crowd. They should be forcefully dealt with via draconian means. That’s how you nip their so-called insurrection in the bud.

A change of ICE strategy is needed for less exposure to protestors. In our nation time to stop kidding ourselves and require a change in public policy regarding profiling. It’s accurate, ask any Cop or Detective. I’m all in for Nation wide random Immigration Status check points. Speed up the process a lot. There is already a precedent for arrest with out probable cause and you must prove your innocence on the spot without due process. Sobriety check stops and going through the TSA as examples. As a Citizen I would have no problem with the inconvenience and proudly produce my valid I.D. when asked. I want the illegal’s here to be just as terrified as any American citizen would be when confronted by the Federales in Mexico for not having any ID, visa and passport to be in that country. The resulting situation would be extremely grim and we all know that.
