Order Jamie Glazov’s new book, ‘United in Hate: The Left’s Romance with Tyranny, Terror, and Hamas’: HERE.
February 21 will mark six years since Department of Homeland Security whistleblower Phillip Haney was found dead by gunshot in Amador County, California. The killing left troubling questions about the Obama administration, terrorism, and most of all the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Haney sustained a “perforating gunshot wound of torso,” noted medical examiner Dr. Katherine Raven, who signed off on a “homicide autopsy,” which means death at the hands of another. The Amador County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) handed the case to the FBI, which conducted no manhunt and announced no suspects. At the top of the list would be Islamic terrorists and those who cover for them.
In “DHS ordered me to scrub records of Muslims with terror ties,” published in The Hill on May 5, 2016, Haney said the DHS had ordered him “to delete or modify several hundred records of individuals tied to designated Islamist terror groups like Hamas from the important federal database, the Treasury Enforcement Communications System (TECS).” The DHS official wasn’t done.
That year Haney authored See Something Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad. In November of 2019, Haney told the Washington Examiner he had a “severely hyper-organized archive of everything that’s happened” since his book was published. The author intended to have it ready by early spring of 2020 then “ride wave all the way to the November elections.” With eight months to go, the whistleblower turned up dead by gunshot, so there would be no wave to ride.
The FBI took possession of Haney’s thumb drives and computer, but even after the November election revealed no analysis of the materials. The ACSO would say nothing about the case, and in April 2021 sheriff Martin Ryan retired, replaced by former undersheriff Gary Redman, “a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Academy,” in Quantico, Virginia.
In Amador County, the sheriff doubles as the coroner and the chief deputy coroner is a sergeant assigned to the investigations division. In 2022, sergeant Patrick Weart listed “apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound” as the cause of Haney’s death. Redman proclaimed Haney’s death a suicide and declared the case officially closed. As he had to know, it wasn’t.
The case landed with the DHS Office of Special Responsibility in San Francisco, which accused the dead man of harboring “contraband,” as though the terrorism expert was some sort of smuggler, and guilty of fraud, illegal disclosure and so forth under five U.S. laws.
Like the materials on the computer of slain DNC official Seth Rich, the FBI has yet to reveal Haney’s whistleblower documents, and there’s another back story here.
The FBI was deeply involved in the Russia hoax against candidate and President Trump and by 2022 the bureau had become the secret police force of Delaware Democrat Joe Biden. In August 2022, an armed FBI squad raided the Mar-a-Lago residence of Donald Trump, ransacking Melania’s closets in the process. It was the first time the bureau had raided the home of a former president.
Threats to presidents are normally handled by the Secret Service but on August 9, 2023, the FBI shot dead Craig Robertson, a 75-year-old woodworker, for threats to Biden and other Democrats he allegedly made online. The shooting has yet to receive the full congressional investigation it deserves. As the people may recall, the Senate held hearings on the FBI’s siege at Ruby Ridge in 1992, during which FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi shot dead Vicki Weaver as she held her infant child.
FBI director Christopher Wray denied that the bureau spied on Trump, ignoring the bureau’s covert operations such as “Mid-Year Exam” and “Crossfire Hurricane.” After the July 13, 2024 assassination attempt, in which Thomas Matthew Crooks unleased seven bullets at Trump, one striking him on the ear, Wray said the candidate might have been hit by “shrapnel.” With ballistics experts under his command, Wray had to know that was untrue. That same month, the FBI failed to comply with a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for records and communications relating to Crooks prior to the assassination attempt.
Wray gave way to Kash Patel, who last month revealed that FBI officials awarded themselves trophies for work on Biden’s “Arctic Frost,” operation against Trump and his allies. Patel says he disbanded the group responsible and “removed the corrupt actors involved.” Patel should now reveal what the FBI knows about the death of Philip Haney, and the contents of the materials seized after the death by homicide.
The concealing of evidence is not what the people expect from a federal agency that deploys deadly force, that holds special powers – lying to the FBI is a crime – and whose motto is “fidelity, bravery, integrity.” None of that was on display in FBI special agent Robert Hanssen. He gave highly classified information to the Soviet KGB and its successor, the SVR, in exchange for $1.4 million in cash, diamonds and such, but there was more to it.
Hanssen escaped detection for some 15 years, almost as long as the 17 years it took the FBI to catch “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski. The FBI also failed to prevent the massive attack of 9/11 and Islamic terrorist attacks at Fort Hood (2009), the Boston Marathon (2013), San Bernardino (2015), and Orlando (2016), all with massive loss of life, and the bureau played no role in the takedown of the terrorists.
FBI agents who fail at their appointed tasks and deploy against Trump are of a piece with the traitor Hanssen. In effect, those corrupt, partisan agents form a sleeper cell, waiting for another Democrat to deploy them against domestic political enemies. In the meantime, as sheriff Bill Gillespie (Rod Steiger) said in In the Heat of the Night, we have the body, which is dead.
As Whittaker Chambers (Witness) and Sidney Hook (Out of Step) noted, making murder look like suicide was standard operating procedure for the KGB. Soviet defector Walter Krivitsky was “suicided” in a Washington hotel. In similar style, in New York, the death of Danish diplomat Povl Bang-Jensen, who refused to reveal the names of Hungarians who had participated in the revolt against the occupying Soviets, was most likely “political murder dressed up as suicide.”
If the death by gunshot of Philip Haney turns out to be murder, there is no statute of limitations. Kash Patel needs to reveal the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The people have a right to know, and the people will be watching.

Thanks for reminding us of the FBI’s role in the deaths of Philip Haney, and Seth Rich. The only logical conclusion is that their role was to ensure no actual investigation took place. You could also include Antonin Scalia as a person whose untimely death seemed to raise few eyebrows at the FBI.
Makes me wonder if this is part/all of the reason Dan Bongino resigned….
I’ve had the same thoughts.
Maranatha.
I had also wondered if Dan Bongino resigned due to his health. Maybe he is still recovering from cancer. Did he go back to hosting his show?
An incredibly bold and needed article. Mr. Haney’s “suicide” really shook me up. He was a man of character and his book was engrossing and compelling. Articles at the time of his death by people who knew him said he was not suicidal in the least. I just pray to God that if he was murdered as I believe he was that it will be fully investigated. I believe EVERYTHING he wrote about rule making to accommodate Muslims who might otherwise be considered security threats. Thank you thank you Mr Billingsley. And thanks to frontpagemag.com for not forgetting Mr. Haney!
Jeff – Former U.S. Congressman Louie Gohmert – who is a
Senior Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center – was
a close friend of Phillip Haney and does not believe he
committed suicide.
Thank you. I have a lot of respect for Mr. Gohmert’s judgment.
Have had a lot of respect for Gohmert, but wow has he been silent for a long time now. We have so few voices of sanity. He was one, but seems to be fading.
He was engaged to be married. Seems unlikely he was suicidal.
Well, Patel may not know what the truth is because a lot of the files and information has long been since destroyed.
It was murder unquestionably. Haney was not suicidal. In fact, he was supposed to be meeting an acquaintance of mine the next day. He was on the way to her house when he was assassinated.
Haney had mapped an extensive Islamic terrorist network in the United States which ObaMao forced him to erase to protect his Islamic allies.
No question that Haney was executed.
Yah very hard to believe that a man that was writing books, planning a wedding, and seemingly very happy would commit suicide. Especially when the ButtKrak Obama regime had a lot of motive to have him snuffed out. So yah, it was a murder.
Yeah, that area was a perfect place for a hit.
How many people commit suicide by shooting themselves in the torso? I remember this guy, he always made it a point to say he was not suicidal, but that they were probably going to kill him. The FBI of today probably spends 90% of its time and resources covering up past misdeeds.
This case is still a big wound. Thank you so much for not letting go of it 🙂
Yes, Patel must tell us the truth.
If the evidence is gone, then Patel must tell us who was in charge when it disappeared.
Any one here ever hear of the deep state? Well here it is! Kash Patel and Pam Bondi look like
they’re part of this deep state. Why hasn’t Bondi or Patel bring Wray and Comey and Biden in for
a little chat? Crickets from Bondi and Wray!!!
As usual Trump leads the way. It’s not their failure it is his.
The FBI has always been a corrupt institution. In fact, anywhere humans are involved corruption inevitably follows. Relatively recently the FBI has been used as a weapon against conservatives. Critics and whistleblowers have described the FBI as “rotten at it’s core.”
The FBI abuses include: domestic spying, racial and religious profiling, biased counterterrorism training materials, politically motivated investigations, abusive detention and interrogation practices, and misuse of the No-Fly List to recruit informants.
Just imagine how powerless your everyday citizen is if the government came after you. I would have never believed how corrupt our gov’t law enforcement agencies are. I knew, of course, there was corruption. However, not on this scale and level that really picked up steam under that POS Obama.
Definitely.
This, and others somewhat similar, plus the staggering amount of fraud in MN, MI, CA, WA makes one sometimes wonder whether it is able to be corrected. It appears not.
“The author intended to have it ready by early spring of 2020 then “ride wave all the way to the November elections.” With eight months to go, the whistleblower turned up dead by gunshot, so there would be no wave to ride.” This killing, like the Banghazi plot where 4 Americans were killed by Islamic militants, was orchestrated by Obama followers in his administration because these narratives were counter to the Obama Narrative that Muslim terrorism was subsiding and under control, and ISIS was the JV team. An election had to be won. The lives of 5 innocent Americans was the cost of doing business.
A Sec of State known as Hillarious was more than simply involved.
This sort o thing is what happens when WE do not abide by the standards set by our nation’s builders. It clearly states that, as qualiphication to hold the Presidency, the candidate MUST be a Natural Born Citizen. that means the candidate must be out o TWO parents who are born as citizens. Barry Oh;s male parent was a British Subject, later a citizen o the new nation Kenya. He was NOT a US citizen at any time, ever. We did otnlearn tha time, as the Kamala Unitwastroted out as a canduidate later on. She had NO ciizen parents. Pappywas a Bit, Mama Indian. That tome he candiae was wisel not eleced,, but she remains at large and seems to be dreaming again. MUST NOT HAPPEN. Not eligible.
Thank you Lloyd for once again shining the light on the death of Philip Haney. Shortly before his death, Philip looked at me and said, if I am ever found dead know that it was not suicide. I will never forget those words. Keep up the good work on this Lloyd. You are to be commended.
I read Haney’s book….he knew exactly what was going on in the Obama admin, mainly the pro-islam agenda. Haney was on the verge of publishing his follow up book when he was murdered. But there is still enough info available that would finally put an end to the leftover pro-muslim agenda that is becoming more active everyday in this country. Remember, it was Obama that infested Minneapolis with all of the Somali grifters. Haney’s book should be published no matter what shape it’s in.
More and more mosques in many vulnerable cities, the call to prayer 5 times a day, the latest attacks on dog ownership and all of the other crap we as Americans have to put up with.
Can you imagine if Kamala had won we would be putting up with open borders, Tampon Tim and his procommunist/islamo agenda. It’s bad enough NYers voted in that Jew Hating Commie Muslim traitor as mayor. This MummyDummy clown can’t seem to remove the snow still clogging the streets. According to Bearing Arms.com Jews are buying guns and ammo. Too bad they can’t easily buy ARs.
Read Kurt Schlichter’s book The Attack. It gives us a plausible scenario as to what is in our future re: a muslim attack. While Trump and Maga are still in power arm up, gun up and get trained. Head on a swivel.
Got some doo fuss with a thumbs down on this. Some loser
Obviously a doo-fus lib. Maybe Obama downvoted it
I would like to read the “See Something, Say Nothing….” book, but I don’t want to spend the money and read it if someone altered it after Haney’s death. Don’t want to read something that someone yanked all the truth out of before publishing.
Does anyone on here know if the book was finished and and not adulterated by someone before publishing? Thank you in advance.

I’m another American who’ll never forget the role Philip Haney had as a great American looking after our nation’s security. His last interview in July of 2019 reminds us of what happens when security measures are not followed. May we never forget his legacy and find the truth as to what really led to his death.
The room with all the UNBURNED “Burn Bags” might have a lot of the answers – we can only HOPE so and that they will be forthcoming! People can’t imagine the magnitude of corruption that exists in Our Government and the TIME and EFFORT to expose it – prosecute it – fight the leftist ‘judges’ and juries – and put the CRIMINALS in Prison or Graves! Q said a long time ago that people would not be able to handle the TRUTHS! Well, let’s TRY a few and see!
Yeah, get all the info out in public ASAP. That way no hits to cover things up.
Hi Lloyd,
I knew Phil personally and invited him to speak at a local VFW event in the Los Angeles CA area when I was Commander of the organization. I spent a few days with him while in our area. Very well received.. It wasn’t too long after our event that he was gunned down, as described. We’ve also had Robert Spencer and Brigitte Gabriel as event speakers.
Thank you for posting the article about Phil.
We have to ban mosques from America. And remove the 3,000 already here. If not there will be 6,000 by 2030.
There is only one who can be trusted, the person of Jesus Christ.
Maranatha.
