Over the last decade and a half, Dems provided the country with a master class on how to target and make life unlivable for people, political organizations and ways of life that they didn’t like.
Just ask a gun owner.
The NRA was targeted by the corrupt New York Attorney General Letitia James, who then proceeded to go after other political opponents, a campaign was launched to debank the entire firearms industry and ingenious ideas were generated for going after individual gun owners.
Could we do the same thing to illegal aliens? Here’s a good start.

Dear Secretary Bessent:
I write to urge the Department of the Treasury to undertake a comprehensive review of current rules that allow illegal aliens to obtain financial services and access to the US banking system, including the regulations governing the acceptance of foreign identification documents for opening bank accounts in the United States.
The illegal alien population reached unprecedented levels under the open borders policies of the last administration. Many of these individuals have accessed the U.S. banking system using foreign-issued identification documents such as Matricula cards, without verifying immigration status.
Major financial institutions currently accept these foreign documents as primary identification, effectively extending the privileges of our financial system to those who entered or remain in the country illegally.
Access to the American banking system is a privilege that should be reserved for those who respect our laws and sovereignty. When individuals are allowed to open accounts without verifying legal status, we are permitting illegal aliens to establish financial roots and integrate economically, all while bypassing the legal channels that millions use properly.
The Department possesses authority under several statutes to address this issue. I respectfully request that the Department explore whether the USA PATRIOT Act or the Bank Secrecy Act could appropriately be utilized to prevent illegal aliens from opening accounts at U.S. financial institutions. Our immigration laws exist to protect American workers, ensure national security, and maintain our sovereignty. Financial regulations should not undermine these objectives. I believe thoughtful reform in this area is aligned with President Trump’s promise to end illegal immigration.

Now it looks like it might be happening.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that a proposed executive order that would require banks to collect citizenship information is “in process” in an interview this week with Semafor.
“And I don’t think it’s unreasonable, because why don’t we have information on who’s in our banking system?” the Trump official told the outlet Monday. “I have a place in the UK; they want to know who lives in every apartment — and how do we know that it’s not part of a foreign terrorist organization?”
Semafor reported in February that REAL IDs would not be considered eligible documents under this new documentation requirement, as they do not prove citizenship.
The idea that people illegally in this country can just lead their lives normally and maintain bank accounts has always been ridiculous.
Making that existence financially unviable is a key pathway to getting illegal aliens out. It always has been.
Cut off their access to…
1. Public services. Especially any social welfare services.
2. Financial systems, including apps, and any ability to send money abroad
3. Any ability to maintain credit cards, pay bills and buy products..
4. Work and get paid for it..
And suddenly life here won’t seem good or comfortable. It’ll become outright unlivable.
Common sense approach. The DemoRats will howl and self immolate to protest.
There are so many things they can do. If Trump really wanted to or would let them.
A president has so much power.
And if they want to get a little shady like the dims do, they can just about do anything they want. The dims most certainly did.

The acceptance of foreign identification documents in our Nation is absurd and everyone knows it.

Terrible things you mentioned. Proves what Meyer said above: once introduced, these powers get used.
Ancient Athens had that problem. They’d introduce legislation, some practice that the assembly knew was anti-republican, but enough people convinced enough voters to go along—in the interest of security, of course. If they couldn’t convince enough voters to go along, they’d start proscribing people, e.g. ostracism; booting them out of the city. That generally convinced recalcitrant citizens to go shut up and vote right.
Interesting that Daniel would post this story today. There’s another Jewish site—call it fire.com—that posted a very similar story just a couple of hours ago.
“40 years late”, “why did it take so long”? The answer to both is simple – PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP! When has a President EVER done the things that PRESIDENT TRUMP and his TEAM have done? I’m 70 something and I cannot recall anything along these lines to even compare! We already have laws about employing or giving “aid” to ILLEGALS – they should be enforced and MANY people going to PRISON! Why are we not reading/hearing of THOSE trials?? Maybe soon??
