Minnesota Attorney General Keith X. Ellison, a notorious racist who had been accused of assault by two women, rallied to the defense of radical leftists who invaded a church and disrupted prayer services to protest ICE, claiming it was “First Amendment activity”.
First of all, let’s be clear, trespassing and disrupting anything is not “First Amendment activity”. Period.
First Amendment activity is the right to protest. It stops being First Amendment activity the moment any kind of crime, no matter how minor, is committed.
The Left has normalized what used to be called ‘civil disobedience’, which is protests involving illegal activity, and made it ubiquitous (but only for themselves, see J6) allowing them to do anything from trespassing to violent assaults and arson while calling it all “peaceful protests”.
The whole point of civil disobedience was to protest an illegal law. It was not to violate the law for the sake of disruption.
That’s the difference between refusing to move to the back of the bus or lunch counter sit-ins and the anti-war Vietnam era campus takeovers and ‘sit-ins’ which completely collapsed the notion of what civil disobedience was. By the current era, every leftist protest is ‘civil disobedience’. And it’s not an act of heroism because the perpetrators go completely unpunished.
Now attacking churches and synagogues in particular, as the Left and its Islamist allies have taken to doing, is a potential FACE Act violation. That’s the federal law that leads to anti-abortion protesters going to prison for 5 years for blocking an abortion clinic entrance. The Feds of course haven’t been enforcing that law for the anti-ICE or pro-Hamas or BLM rioters.
That may be about to change.
And what needs to change is this entire culture of leftist ‘peaceful riots’. Illegal protests are not First Amendment activity. They’re an attempt to threaten and intimidate others. And their perpetrators and backers need to get the full J6 treatment.
They started the J6 treatment, might as well apply it to them, now that the Genie is out of the bottle.
Good thought AA, but where could we find that many conservatives with a similar degree of moral decay and lack of ethics?
Time for Pam Bondi to step up and start collecting scalps – we need to see these illegal protesters doing time – put them in the same prison that Epstein was in.

Remember his opinion is the only one that matters and all that matters is Trump says we are too busy winning so no one needs to think any further. It doesn’t matter that dollar store “x” elison has used the law twice when mosques were protested, it doesn’t matter that by ignoring these vicious attacks, toothless might as well be pouring gasoline on the fire or that mr no consequences for all intents and purposes sides with something that is truly evil and contributes greatly to the decline of America. It’s not on his dance card. Trump was horrible in his first term and it’s wholly ridiculous that he is still numb to the necessity of consequences and has given no thought to the idea of how complicit he is in failure, evil and betraying our side for theirs.
Nice record. Trump has zero arrests and convictions out of the thousands of liberals that have commited atrocious, immoral crimes and should be in jail. Zero! His record is far better with conservatives.

Obstructing law officers while they are conducting arrests is also not protesting. Try blocking the road with your car when the police are chasing a speeder or drunk driver and find out.

If you think that disrupting a church service is not First Amendment (free religious exercise) activity then you haven’t seen a Pentecostal church service. Against all of the Pentecostals’ dancing and shouting emotionalism in the name of JESUS, the illegal alien cult’s ritual church protest agit-prop would hardly stand out. What would JESUS say about such an admixture of saints and sinners? “Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather together first the tares [weeds], and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn” (Matthew 13:30).
The Justice Department will investigate at a snail’s pace. Republicans will hold meaningless, kabuki hearings. Two years will go by and no one will have been prosecuted nor will the general public even remember what all the fuss was about.
You know, with all the muslims in Minnesota, I’m wondering why lemon and his gang of useful idiots have not stormed a mosque during call to prayers? If you want headlines don, this is the way to get it.

Something similar like this happened at the Patrick Cathodal i New York by a bunch of Gay Rights Fascists from ACT-UP one Easter some years ago screaming Obsinaties and throwing Condoms at the people attending
I am still waiting to hear how long it took the police to get to the church, and what their excuse is for not arresting anyone. The DOJ must demand an answer for the dereliction of duty by the St Paul Police Dept. Not sure what can be done, but this police complicity in criminal activity must be exposed and addressed.
