Environmentalists are the most tiresome people on earth. They manufacture insurmountable problems in their futile quest to control the weather without seemingly able to grasp that anything on the planetary scale is going to be a collection of systems beyond their ability to master.
And so we get nonsense like this.
Efforts to clean up air pollution in China and across East Asia may have inadvertently contributed to a spike in global warming, a new study has found.
The decline in aerosol emissions — which can cool the planet by absorbing sunlight — have added about 0.05 degrees Celsius in warming per decade since 2010, according to the study, published on Monday in Communications Earth & Environment.
Remember when they made our lives miserable over ‘aerosol emissions’? Now, according to them, it caused global warming. And then they’ll tell us that their efforts to fight global warming brought on an ice age.
Environmentalism is all about manufacturing systemically unsolvable problems for the power and profit of environmentalists. If environmentalism caused global warming, maybe it’s time we ‘saved the planet’ not by banning hairspray, cars and cows, but by banning environmentalists.
“Save the planet. Ban an environmentalist.”
That resonates with me because it makes way too much sense. It’s akin to saying if you want to slow down, take your foot off the gas pedal.
I think global warming science has been flawed since square one. I’ve yet to read an analysis of what is normal temperature. Is there, or has there ever been such a thing?
Waaay back in the early 1980s, James Burke (sp?) had two series which ran on PBS or Bravo Network or some such. One of them was called “The Day The Universe Changed.”
In the episode on Global Climate Sciences, he stressed the fact that we so not have a reliable (read: stable) data base on and from which we can make predictions. AND, he predicted that we would get the beginnings of one around 2040 or so (Moore’s Law + Supercomputing), and that we would spend the next twenty or so years after that verifying the data base, tweaking the computer models, and also doing same for the predictive models.

Not sure if there is a way to ask that. Basically we are a heat engine hurtling through space cooling as we go. Physics is relatively simple on that question, we have been cooling since the planet’s inception.
It is such flawed science and ignorance, more like willful effort to propagandize and blind the masses, rather than follow any scientific method to answer questions. Logically relative comparisons between different eras or as a straight line from the inception could be done.
Their basic premise is that CO2 is a dangerous pollutant, that can raise the temperature of the earth high enough to kill off most life, but certainly mankind. The scientific questions that follow are relatively obvious and such a willfully stupid premise is as expected ridiculous. To label a key component of photosynthesis, the true sustainable organic recyclable energy on its face and absolutely necessary for life at least, seems crazy from the start. It goes downhill for the drooling, insipid, half wits as soon as any real science is used in the intellectual exercise or any experimentation tried.
To get a frame of reference there is a level of CO2 where all life on earth will be extinguished if CO2 falls below this level. Can we measure the CO2 from past eras before man and does CO2 have the capability (physical properties/characteristics) to absorb energy and retain it as a heat sink? I’m not going to continue laying this out because it’s too lengthy, but the half wits are not even attempting science and if they were a little too successful they would extinguish all life on earth. CO2 is at about 400 ppm a relatively low figure historically in earth’s long history. Extermination of all life is at 200 ppm
No, there never has been and average global temperature hasn’t fluctuated by a single degree fahrenheit for 228 years. 1997 was a stand alone year because global temperature increased by ONE DEGREE.

There’s a typo in the title: “Blames” should be “Blame” since the noun being modified (Environmentalists) is plural. It should read:

If you want to know the truth about alleged climate change, follow the grant money. The earth has been here some 4.5+ billion years and the climate has always changed. Life as we know it would not exist otherwise.
I never listen to the “climate change freaks” because I have yet to met one who has a solid science education and is competent enough to discuss the atmospheric chemistry and physics of so-called climate change. The extent of their knowledge on the matter is the equivalent of a child’s understanding of nuclear physics.
The deserts are still hot and arid, the tropics are still hot and wet, the temperate zones are still temperate, and the poles are still frozen solid. Nothing has changed.

The Sierra Club sends me free stamps and a mini calendar. I don’t know why because I’ve never contacted it or given it any money. The calendar only goes to July, which is weird. It’s probably because of my unwanted subscription to “Smithsonian” magazine, which was a gift.
I’ve been encouraging them to reduce their carbon footprint to zero by ceasing all activity that generates carbon dioxide, including respiring, but they won’t take me up on it.
