On September 11, the David Horowitz Freedom Center convened our retreat in Las Vegas. A day earlier, Charlie Kirk had been assassinated.
The murder completely changed the tenor of the event. I threw out the remarks I was going to make and talked about the bigger picture and the stakes on college campuses. And the bigger picture is that we’re not going to debate our way out of this, that college is the problem not the solution, and we should be looking at ways to reduce the presence of college in American life.
This is why we need a second reformation, secular reformation to met out the same punishment to the Communist University, Intellectual, Academic Industrial Complex that the Protestant Reformation meted out to the Catholic Church 400 years ago.
I’ll go for that. The Catholics are a primary player in this mass invasion of our country,.
One thing we need right now is the reestablishment of the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HCUA).
(HUAC), was an investigative committee of the United States House of Representatives, created in 1938 to investigate alleged disloyalty and subversive activities on the part of private citizens, public employees, and those organizations suspected of having communist ties. It became a standing (permanent) committee in 1946, and from 1969 onwards it was known as the House Committee on Internal Security. When the House abolished the committee in 1975,[1] its functions were transferred to the House Judiciary Committee.
The committee’s anti-communist investigations are often associated with McCarthyism, although Joseph McCarthy himself (as a U.S. senator) had no direct involvement with the House committee.
Today’s higher education is the study of useless knowledge.
