The IDF recently revealed the details behind the largest strike in Lebanon since the start of Operation Roaring Lion. That strike took place on Wednesday, April 8, and within ten minutes at least 180 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated, in near-simultaneous strikes on the Dahiyeh neighborhood in southern Beirut, on the Bekaa Valley, and on the area between the Litani River and the Lebanese border with Israel. The IDF on Friday revealed the details behind the largest strike in Lebanon since the start of Operation Roaring Lion.
According to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the IDF on Wednesday completed a large-scale wave of strikes targeting command centers and military infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization across three areas simultaneously: Beirut, Beqaa, and southern Lebanon, following Hezbollah terrorists’ attempts to expand their activity from Beirut northward into additional areas.
The large-scale wave of strikes was based on precise and high-quality intelligence, while using high-quality capabilities that allowed striking multiple areas simultaneously within a single minute.
Following an initial IDF intelligence assessment, it can be determined that the IDF has eliminated more than 180 Hezbollah terrorists. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stressed that the count is ongoing at this time….
The figure of 180 terrorists killed was preliminary; more bodies are under the rubble and will no doubt add to the final count.
Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to minimize harm to uninvolved civilians as much as possible, including using precise ammunition and aerial surveillance, the statement stressed.
The “aerial surveillance” refers to the long-established practice of Israeli pilots to abort an attack if they see that too many civilians are at or near the site about to be targeted. This is not something many other militaries do, and it is one of the reasons that West Point Professor John Spencer concluded his study of the war in Gaza with this observation: “Israel has done more and implemented more measures to prevent civilian harm than any military in the history of urban warfare.”
NPR and the BBC have claimed that Israel “conducted massive raids, killing more than 300 civilians, including women and children.” They do not report that of that figure of 300, which comes from Hezbollah itself, nearly two-thirds were, according to the Israelis, Hezbollah combatants. Imagine if those networks were to report the April 8 attach thus:
“In the early hours of April 8, Israeli planes struck forty-five targets, across the country, including Hezbollah’s stronghold in the Dahiyeh neighborhood of southern Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and the territory between the Litani River and the Israeli border. The targets included Hezbollah’s weapons depots, its rocket launchers, its command-and-control centers, using precision munitions. The attack was over in ten minutes. Hezbollah claims 300 civilians were killed. Israel believes that whatever the total number of those killed, at least 180 were Hezbollah terrorists.”
So which has a better track record of telling the truth — the IDF, or Hezbollah?

It’s sad that any civilians die in war, but when one side uses them as shields it’s hard to never hit any. Hamas’ secret attack was on civilians primarily, and the media didn’t care.
Hezbollah should be dealt with defeated and even destroyed by hitting it hard, hit it long and keep on hitting it with strong powerful forceful military strikes until it’s unable to raise up again with its ugly, vicious and deadly jihad Islamic head.
Therefore, the government authorities and officials of the State of Israel have a duty and responsibility to use strong military force against Hezbollah to ensure the safety security and lives of the people who are citizens of that nation. It’s basic matter of self-defense.
As the fifth President of the United States, James Monroe, rightly and wisely, in a speech had declared, “The right to self-defense never ceases. It is among the most sacred, and alike necessary to nations and to individuals.”
The use of the armed might is the way to defeat the murderous jihadists of Hezbollah. This is because the Muslim terrorists of Hezbollah will not reason to reason or logic. The only language that they are able to understand is the language of the strong of might of the power of the Israel Defense Force.
In addition, there is much good solid valid sense in the wisdom of the statement apply to the Israel Defense Force pounding down with much military might of Hezbollah. The statement is “Half-measures in war is both folly and madness.”

I imagine that the life of the soldier in question means just as much to him and his family as the women and children group. Is his life less valuable?
They won’t stop being terrorists until they stop being! It’s really that simple! When children are taught to READ with books filling their little minds with HATRED towards Israel and infidels, how can you change that when they are angry adults? It has to start with the children and teach them SANITY!!
You are absolutely correct. There is only one way to resolve this issue, and unfortunately, there’s not many of us – let alone any politicians – who would say it out loud.
How this depraved, degenerate, vile, barbaric culture of heathens has been able to proliferate to this point since the 7th century CE, I’ll never understand. But like all pestilence, it must be brought to an end because as long as Islam is allowed to exist, they will continue to harass, assault, attack, and kill everyone else who is not Islamic – wait, they also attack and kill their own, too.
In order for a culture to be allowed to exist, they have to be able to bring something positive to the world, and I’ve read enough about it, a portion of the quran, and tried my damnedest to be objective, but there is absolutely NOTHING good about it. Islam is pure evil, hate, perversion, and depravity, and there must be a way to end it, for good.
The Achilles heal of the slime religion is its enforcement clause. You can’t leave islime without death. Unfortunately it will remain as a tenet.
I hate to say it, but Hezbullah’s currently enjoying a respite of sorts, thanks to Trump’s imposed ceasefire. Israel mobilized multiple divisions to do what Lebanon can’t or won’t do – remove Hezbullah and the threat they pose to Israel from southern Lebanon. Trump stopped them mid-battle, based simply on the hope Lebanon could get its act together and maybe – maybe – normalize relations with Israel.
There are often little calculations in our minds that lead us from point to point until we find ourselves in perilous neighborhood.. I want someone like IDF defending me!
Terrorists like hiding behind human shields. They are the ones responsible for the deaths of the civillians.
