After a few years of the widespread tearing-down of statues honoring American heroes such as the Great Emancipator Abraham Lincoln, Founding Father George Washington, and anti-slavery giant Frederick Douglass, a few new statues finally went up for a change. Massive golden busts of the late, far-left Congressman John Lewis and Black Lives Matter icons George Floyd and Breonna Taylor were erected in Manhattan’s Union Square.
Lewis arguably achieved something in his life – albeit in the service of communism. Floyd and Taylor, however, are being venerated not because of any extraordinary accomplishments, but because their deaths in police-involved incidents were successfully exploited by the Marxist revolutionaries of Black Lives Matter to inflame racial rage and demonize police officers all across the country as genocidal bigots, even though there is zero evidence that racism was a factor in either death. Floyd, now an international symbol of racist police brutality, was an inveterate criminal and drug addict who died of a fentanyl overdose while being restrained by police for resisting arrest. Breonna Taylor died when police who were entering her darkened apartment with a search warrant returned fire after her drug-dealing boyfriend began shooting at them.
This is where America was in 2021: monuments honoring Frederick Douglass, a black man who rose from slavery to become a statesman, orator, writer, and noted abolitionist, are now destroyed by the woke mob, but blacks whose unintended deaths can be weaponized against America were lionized in the public square as martyrs.
Floyd and Taylor are only two of the police victims elevated to household names by the corrupt, disgraced Black Lives Matter (BLM) organization. The self-proclaimed trained Marxists who founded that subversive movement exploited, and continue to exploit, those victims in order to incite a civil war in America by hyping a false narrative of the systematic targeting of blacks by law enforcement. That is the subject of I Can’t Breathe: How a Racial Hoax is Killing America, the 2021 book by Freedom Center founder, conservative warrior, and bestselling author David Horowitz.
Horowitz’s aim with the book was to puncture BLM’s grotesque narrative, which is supported by the Democrat Party and amplified by its media enablers. He begins the book with a summary of our current racial divide, which was exacerbated by deadly, nationwide BLM rioting – “a summer of insurrections” – in 2020 that constituted “the costliest sustained acts of civil disorder in American history.” The siege of Portland by violent leftist activists, the Democrat movement to defund police departments and the subsequent crime waves that swept the nation, the anti-American messaging, the 2016 massacre of five white cops in Dallas at the hands of a BLM-inspired black extremist – Horowitz weaves all these ugly threads and more to create a dark tapestry of the devastation that Black Lives Matter’s myth-making has wrought:
The casualties of the scorched-earth war unleashed by Black Lives Matter dwarf the total casualties of all the alleged racial injustices the organization has protested. The atrocities instigated and inspired by BLM encompass scores of innocent wounded and dead, both black and white… Surveying these disasters, one could reasonably conclude that, thanks to Black Lives Matter campaigns to abolish police departments, advances in both race relations and protections for urban black communities have been set back fifty years.
Horowitz compiles the names of 26 black victims BLM claims were murdered or maimed by the police since the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012 sparked the launch of the movement. They include the aforementioned Martin, Floyd and Taylor, as well as Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Tamir Race, and Freddie Gray, to name some of the most well-known. Then – in chapters on how the BLM movement began, grew, and went national and then international – Horowitz goes on to dissect all 26 incidents according to the facts, backed up by over 70 pages of endnotes. He demonstrates how BLM has lied about every single one in its quest to aggravate racial tensions and rip America apart at the seams.
His examinations show “that while some of the Black Lives Matter cases reveal tragic errors of judgment, almost all involve resistance by known and armed criminals to warranted arrests. In the vast majority of cases, Horowitz concludes, “the deceased would still be alive if they had simply obeyed police commands, and the Black Lives Matter charges are reckless inventions unsupported by the facts.”
But of course, inconvenient facts and statistics are irrelevant to the racist power-mongers of BLM, “whose motives and goals have nothing to do with black lives mattering,” Horowitz notes. “Black Lives Matter is not a civil rights organization. It is a revolutionary criminal movement whose goals are openly Marxist and communist.” What matters to them, he adds, is not black lives but “the anti-American revolution they are advancing and the fantasy world they think they will achieve by destroying the most equitable, inclusive, tolerant, and free society that has ever existed.”
Horowitz correctly points out that “Never in the history of nations has a previously oppressed minority like black Americans been so integrated into the dominant culture of a nation.” In addition, there is not a single crime statistic to support “the harsh claims of a hunting season on blacks by police.” On the contrary, I Can’t Breathe marshals irrefutable evidence that the truth about crime and race in this country is exactly the opposite of BLM’s “malicious racial fiction.”
Horowitz answers the question he poses in one chapter heading – “What Kind of Movement is This?” – with an exposé of BLM’s proud links to cop-killers and domestic terrorists such as Assata Shakur and Susan Rosenberg (who sits on the board of Thousand Currents, a nonprofit that has funneled millions of dollars into BLM coffers); to black racists and anti-Semites like Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan; to a coalition of radical groups like the street thugs of Antifa and the Labor/Community Strategy Center (headed by former Weather Underground terrorist Eric Mann, the ideological mentor of BLM founder Patrisse Cullors); and to major funders like far-left billionaire financier George Soros and the Ford and Kellogg Foundations.
Horowitz also addresses BLM’s indoctrination of schoolkids, its takeover of the culture, its anti-family agenda (the declaration of which was scrubbed from the organization’s website when it began to attract too much outraged attention), and its perpetuation of destructive, anti-American myths such as “systemic racism.”
In his concluding chapter, “Whose Future?”, Horowitz links the BLM movement’s aims to the broader agenda of the Democrat Party under decrepit puppet President Joe Biden, who himself publicly promotes the shameful lie that blacks in America are oppressed by a “systemic racism” which demonstrably does not exist.
Whose future, indeed? If we are to repel the Left’s full-on assault on our values, institutions, and character, it will only be if all American patriots summon the kind of courageous, truth-telling resistance David Horowitz displays in his indispensable book I Can’t Breathe to expose and condemn the corrosive racial hoaxes perpetrated by BLM and the Democrat Party.

This is a great review of what appears to be a tremendous book (I will admit, to my shame, that I haven’t read it- yet). The only thing that appears to be missing is a discussion of how BLM’s leaders used the funds they received from both public and private donations to create a lifestyle rivaling that of the Kardashian clan.
Remember the BS term “Covid related”?
To help spread panic & hamstring Trump, Covid deaths were inflated.
A person shot with Covid was a “Covid related death”.
A person killed in a car accident with Covid was a “Covid related death”.
A person dying of cancer with Covid was listed as a “Covid related death”.
(Celebrated idiot Jane Fonda said the quiet part out loud, calling Covid “God’s gift to the left”.)
George Floyd died of a Fentynal overdose while also having Covid.
Yet, his death wasn’t registered as a “Covid related death”.
His cause of death was instead listed as “murder!”
It was a different lie, and one the media used to spread chronic riots.
Perhaps if they focused more on the systemic dysfunction and violence in the so-called black community some real positive change could occur. Of course, that’s never the goal with the left. The goal is always political power. Political power using their tactics is achieved through anarchy, deceit, violence, fraud and corruption. If law enforcement uses too little force they are seen as weak and ineffective. If they use too much force they are seen as heavy-handed bullies. As we’ve seen in recent years eventually law enforcement becomes a political tool of the left, as Barack Hussein Obama put it: “to punish our enemies and reward our friends”.
Regarding that dangerous and violent terrorist group, called “Black Lives Matter” which masquerading as a genuine civil rights organization, it should be known that one of the many logic errors of the B.L.M. is that which comes from the Latin called “Ad Hominem.” That is meaning “to the man.” Many members of B.L.M. seem to believe that because some White police officers might be “racists against Blacks” than all White police officers are “racist against Blacks.” That is a false premise and a false foundation for that specific belief. Therefore, that’s an error of logic. Otherwise known as a logic fallacy.
Definitely, those lawless hooligans of that racist Marist group that masquerades as a genuine civil right organization, called “Black Lives Matter” who are rioters who engage in violence should face Federal charges for their willful violation of the law.
The Democrats who actually like BLM have conveniently forgotten the truth spoken by their left –wing liberal Democrat hero President, Lyndon B. Johnson.
Who in a speech declared “There is no American right to loot stores, or to burn buildings, or to fire rifles from the rooftops. That is crime – the crime must be dealt with forcefully and swiftly, and certainly –under the law.”
Except for rooftop Koreans, they have my full endorsement to fire from rooftops.
Police officer, Derek Chauvin who was sentenced to prison by the politically correct court of “law” for the death of that hoodlum George Floyd completely refused to take into consideration everything that really mattered.
The PC court didn’t take into account that Mr. Floyd was both a drug trafficking and drug using hooligan and that one of the reason his died that night was not only that the officer used force on him, which is the only language that thugs and gangsters are able to understand because that will not respond to reason. Floyd died because of his drug abuse about with the force that officer used on him.
If Floyd hadn’t resisted the officer force then would not have been needed to control him.
Floyd died by his drug abuse and the stress he brought upon himself by being such a fool that he resisted arrest. In other words, Floyd is responsible for his own death.
Of all the stupid things Congressional democrats have done, kneeling 8+ minutes for dead junkie was the worst.
Some things need to be known, if for nothing else but for the sake a balanced perspective.
Which is that George Floyd was a vicious hardened criminal therefore it’s very wrong to make some kind of a “hero” out of hooligan was such criminal that he not was not only on drugs but was also involved in drug trafficking . Floyd even knowingly pass counterfeit money
Mr. Floyd was so totally despicable that he even entered a pregnant woman’s home under a false premise of deception to let his lawless ruffians lot her home , all the while he threateningly pointed a gun to that pregnant woman’s stomached ‘You better cooperate.”

Furthermore as this CP unjust prison sentence upon Mr. Chauvin is a reminder for Christians to pray for him since he was wrongly sentenced and that Bible also instructs in Hebrews 13 : 3. “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them – Those who are mistreated…” [N.K.J. V.]
Two of the “reasons” the hooligans of Black Life Matter burn the Bible is because in in conflict with Marxism and also because the Bible has in it the Ten Commandments and commandment number six is “You shall not murder” Exodus 20:13. BLM is not a genuine or real civil rights organization but instead it’s an vicious ,violent malicious dangerous an deadly terrorist entity.
For example, the murderous action of the BLM hooligans of shooting a young White woman dead for only telling them the truth that “All lives matter.” exposes many evil things about that vicious hate group.
This exposes the BLM thugs are so malicious and irrational that they can’t be reason with. In other words they are not rational and don’t understand reason.
This also reveals that they are wicked in the true sense of being totally evil . They have proven that by the vicious murderous violence.
This poor young woman was so naive as to try to reason with those who aren’t rational but only vicious brutal cruel and murderous.
This alone exposes that BLM is not a real political action movement but an extremely violent terrorist/ criminal, murdering entity.
The BLM hooligans by celebrating the malicious murder of this young person by one of their thugs have expose that they and their group are not a genuine political organization but domestic terrorist group spiteful, hateful malice ,wicked thugs.
Those BLM supporters who celebrate the murder of this innocent young woman shall ,in time, be punished for their hate and malice

In a jihadwatch.org article it informs the reader that “The Black Lives Matter organization has embraced the movement known as the Red /Green Alliance” which is the Communist -Islamic alliance.
Hamas, was started and is still funded by that Islamic tyrannical regime of Iran.
The jihadists of Hamas hate the Jewish people and they hate Israel and want to destroy her.
Likewise, the BLM members strongly dislike and even hate the Jew’s. This they have proven repeatedly by their words and actions.
That much Hamas and BLM have in common. Nevertheless, in the United kingdom or the United States of America the BLM members don’t realize of know it but they are only the what are called the “useful idiots” of the jihadists in their quest for the advancement of Islam and the establishment of Sharia law in all nations.
In other words, those jihadists use the BLM members as their stooges and tools to fulfill their Islamic agenda.
If successful in their Islamic agenda those violent jihadists will turn on their BLM stooges who they use as their tools for they might get in the way of the enactment of Sharia law which is very strict harsh and cruel.
Related to all this it might be of interest to some BLM members that a scholar on Islam who is an Arab woman and speakers and reads Arabic and uses to live in one of those countries on the Middle East had exposes in her book that the prophet of Islam,Muhammad referred to Blacks as “ ‘raisin heads’ several time in the hadith [1:663:9:256]”
Her book also reveals that “Throughout the hadith blacks are also referred to as abeds, which means ‘black in Arabic and is also synonymous with the word “slave’ and filth.” In fact, Arab Muslims have enslaved blacks for 1,400 years and the Black slave trade is still thriving in Sudan and Mauritania.” Further in her same book the author reveals that “Most interesting, though, is the even though black slavery by Muslims began long ago , almost no descends of those slaves are alive today in the Muslim world. Why is there no black culture in the Middle East ? Most slaves were either killed or died from being worked to death.” [1]

The Marxist leaders of BLM should be justifiably arrested by the FBI for sedition against the USA. That if the FBI is really still doing what it was originally to do. That’s highly doubtful.
That same Marxists leaders those two domestic violent and destructive terror organizations should then be imprisoned for inciting the mindless mob to engage in violent and malicious behavior which endangers the safety , security and lives of the public.
BLM are not genuine civil rights groups but Un-American dangerous terrorist entities that incited harm to many peaceful innocent law abiding people.
According to Floyd’s “associates” who were with him at the time, he kept losing consciousness at the wheel of his parked vehicle. If the police had not intervened, he might have driven away and very likely caused a fatal collision.
If you can’t breath, you can’t speak!!!!!
