Like all of you and, by that I mean none of you, I tuned into the Grammy’s last night on my old gramophone to catch the latest and greatest in idiot celebrity virtue signaling.
And because the entertainment industry long ago turned into talentless people who can’t sing, but do have the right politics, I was not to be disappointed.
Billie Eilish, currently trying to own opposing borders like she already owns scowling on cue, told an audience of millionaires living in gated communities, “Nobody is illegal on stolen land. We need to keep fighting and speaking up. Our voices do matter…f*ck ICE.”
I have a question or two here. If the land is stolen, by which Wednesday presumably means America was stolen, then isn’t everyone on the land illegal.
Except the people the land originally belonged to.
The act of stealing something doesn’t make it ownerless. Someone must be illegal. Claiming that America belongs to no one because it’s stolen is a logical contradiction that gives away the greater game.
The game isn’t to claim that the land really belonged to some particular Indian tribe, but that America has no right to exist and ought to be nullified through mass migration. The whole “land was stolen” shtick exists purely to deny that America has a right to borders.
That’s why the ‘land acknowledgements’ never end up actually giving up any land. Unless Billie wants to give away her $5 million beach house in Malibu.

I have a question. WTF is Billie Eilish? In Canada every government official starts a speech with land acknowledgments. Ironically, I remember about 30-35 years or ago or so when some Indians were blocking roads to protest the government and the Canadian government smashed them. All of my liberal relatives up there now who voted for Trudeau and Carney hated the Indians at that time…we were always at war with Eurasia.
Now here out in BC, this land acknowledgment BS has come back to bite the NDP government. A recent court case has ruled that a large part of Richmond is now own ed by the Cowichan tribe from Duncan because they used to go fishing there. Landowners are now paranoid, businesses are rightfully in a panic, developers are halting, industries are on hold because who wants to do anything if the Indian band can just come along and take whatever they want? The UNDRIP virtue signaling adopted by the NDP has screwed everything up.
I was thinking the same thing Daniel brought up. If the land is stolen why isn’t she giving her land back to whomever she stole it from? Or maybe she just means all the land owned by the little people is the only stolen land. These leftists are morons…

“Land Acknowledgments” allow the Politically Correct to feel morally superior without actually having to do anything. They declare that we live on stolen land and then go back their mansions on the ocean in a gated community.
When I see one of these people give their homes to Native Americans and go to live on a Reservation then I will be impressed.
If they are not willing to do that they should keep their mouth shut.
Borderless lands cannot have been “stolen”. Who owned land in a paleolithic society? Wandering nomads? Before deeds, land ownership was implied by planting and building on it. Some indigenous communities had developed agriculture, but they did not lay claim to the entire continent. Settlers in North American did not invade a sovereign nation.
Genuine “land acknowledgements” would “bend the knee” to the real original land “owners”: Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble. Say their names!

Fact 1: The so-called “Indigenous population” here on the American continent actually migrate here from Asia via the Bering Straits during the last Ice Age. The Woolly Mammoths, Bison, Saber-toothed cats,Dire wolves, Giant beavers, etc. were hear first.
Fact 2: In the teachings of all American “Indian” cultures, you do not (in fact, cannot) own land, the land owns you. The land existed millions of years before you and will continue to exist millions of years after you are buried under it and your flesh has long since dissociated into its constituent elements (C, H, O, N, S, K, Na, et al.) Objectively speaking, the Indians are right.
Bottom line:
Humans have been nomadic out of necessity for our entire existence upon this rock. From that perspective, Laying claim to land anywhere on the planet is really a specious claim at best. Of course, sapient creatures, humans, would assert such a claim. A claim that arises out of self-righteous and simple greed.
People who want to own their own bit of land are rarely greedy. Most land owners and people with mortgages own enough for their homes and yards only.
Owning land was a foreign concept to the indigenous people of the American continent. But I can be reasonable. Show me the contracts and receipts. Maybe we should be paying rent. If so, who is the landlord?

Yes, even European cultures and certainly Chinese and other cultures throughout the world have had radi8cally different concepts of land ownership than the modern norm. Most were murderously territorial, though.
I found out something interesting recently. Up to the early 1800s the purpose of law in England was mainly to protect property rights.
Yeah, people who didn’t own land were generally considered grubby lowlifes. No wonder so many emigrated from the UK to America. “Fuck you, King George. I’m going to the new world to build a cabin and farm my own land that’s there for the taking.” And the ones who wanted homes in cities and could afford them, did. And as much as the settlers and their progeny complained about taxes, they were spectacularly lower than in the UK and many places were more or less non-existent. Savage Indians were often a problem but the settlers figured it was worth the risk. You know all this, of course but I find it interesting too.
Settlers who built homesteads and businesses in cities back then were a lot different from the scumbags who emigrate here now from shit-hole countries, most of whom come here for welfare, crime and jihad. Some people come here from shit-hole countries to escape them and fit into American society but they seem to be rare. Most of those ones come from India, I reckon.

That would probably be the only way to get people to watch awards shows. Music award shows have always been ridiculous except maybe the Country Music Awards.
