Humiliated by the devastation wrought by tiny Israel on Iran during their twelve-day war in June, Iranians have sought other explanations for Israel’s victory. They have found the real explanation for Israel’s victory: it had working for it mysterious non-humans who appear in the Qur’an, and are known as the jinn.

A senior Iranian official claims that Israel deployed “the occult and supernatural spirits” during its war with Iran, Iran International reported on Friday.
Abdollah Ganji, former editor of the IRGC-linked newspaper Javan, told his 150,000 followers on X/Twitter on Wednesday that a “strange phenomenon” had taken place during the 12-day war.
“After the recent war, a few sheets of paper were found on the streets of Tehran containing talismans with Jewish symbols,” he wrote. “In the first year of the Gaza war, news had also leaked about Netanyahu meeting with occult specialists.
“A few years ago, the Supreme Leader had stated that hostile countries and Western and Hebrew intelligence services use occult sciences and jinn entities for espionage.”
How can Iran be expected to prevail when those diabolical Israelis use “occult sciences and jinn entities” for espionage? It’s the jinn who gave away to Mossad the whereabouts of Iran’s senior military leaders and senior nuclear scientists, who were then assassinated. It’s the jinn, and those in the IDF who are skilled in the “occult sciences,” who led Israeli fighter jets to hit exactly the right targets, both nuclear facilities and ballistic missile warehouses and manufacturing plants all over Iran. Against such supernatural forces, how can Iran prevail? It isn’t a fair fight.
The Mossad’s official X account in Farsi responded to Ganji’s post on Tuesday.
“Using drugs and talking to the jinn are not desirable traits for someone leading a country,” they wrote.
Waleed Gadban, Israel’s Political Advisor to the Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations, reposted the Mossad’s X post, with the caption in Farsi, “Jinn, jinn are everywhere,” with a ghost emoji at the end….
Waleed Gadban is an Arab Israeli and diplomat who serves as a political advisor to Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the UN. Aware of the comical aspects of the Iranian claims about the jinns’ supposed intervention in the Iran-Israel war, he reposted the original post on X/Twitter from the Mossad, mocking the claim made by Abdollah Ganji about the jinn and the occult forces that helped the Zionists. Ganji is no fringe lunatic — he’s the former editor of the IRGC newpaper Javan, and has 150,000 followers on Facebook. Or rather, he is a mainstream lunatic, of which the Iranian regime has so many.
It is unacceptable for the Iranians to concede that the IDF soldiers crushed their own armed forces in the space of twelve days. So there must be some other explanation. And it’s right there in the Qur’an: those strange creatures called the jinn. Those “occult forces” that somehow the IDF managed to enroll as their indispensable allies. It’s the jinn and other “occult forces” that found out exactly where Iran’s secret nuclear facilities and ballistic missile warehouses and production plants were located, and transmitted that information to the IDF so its fighter jets could destroy them.
Abdollah Ganji’s charge is absurd, but he needed to provide an explanation for Iran’s defeat that will not concede the victory to the IDF. So he brings in the jinn and other “occult forces.” The episode puts one in mind of what Egyptian President Gamel Abdel Nasser did midway through the Six-Day War, when he claimed that American and British planes had attacked Egyptian and Syrian targets. After all, he couldn’t let his people know that in the early hours of June 4, the Israeli Air Force had all by itself destroyed 338 Egyptian aircraft while losing only 19 of its own planes. Of course, the Americans and the British must have been responsible.
Before Ganji’s piece there have been other absurd charges by Iranians, claiming Israel makes use of animal spies. In 2007, the Iranians charged that Israel had sent “14 squirrels” to seek out nuclear facilities; the squirrels were promptly arrested. What then happened to them is unknown. A year later, the Iranians claimed that “it is entirely possible that pigeons were used to spy on the nuclear facility in Natanz.” In 2013, Iran’s ally Hezbollah claimed at its Al-Manar website that it had captured an eagle in southern Lebanon that carried an Israel-labeled transmission device on its back and claimed the bird was an Israeli spy.” In 2018, Iran accused Israel of using lizards, whose skin “attracted atomic waves,” to help the Zionists locate sites that were part of its nuclear program.
And now, with this accusation about Israel using the jinn and “occult forces,” the Iranians are again making themselves look both silly and sinister. Which, come to think of it, is exactly what they are.
A lot more reasonable than when they blame dogs, pigeons for spying and believe Jews control weather.

Begin,as Mearsheimer said, said the 1967 6 day war was a war of CHOICE by Israel, the story there was to be a second holocaust is not true, it did not have to happen,Israel decided to launch it so it could take over GAZA and the WEST BANK and also the GOLAN HEIGHTS in Syria. There were many occasions when war could have been avoided,but to justify it after the end of the war they invented the whole narrative they were about to be destroyed.

I used to think the Evangelical leaders Joel Richardson and Joel Rosenberg,both of who have written books on prophecy,Islam,the Middle East,Israel, were intellectually HONEST.
But they hide parts of the OT that go against their affirmation that God gave the Jews the Promised Land FOREVER.
Truth is,it is promised but there is a CONDITION,if not done, God says he will UPROOT,take out of, the Jews from Palestine.
It was a Catholic youtuber who showed the passage.Referring to DEUT 28:63.
The Promised Land ,from the Nile to the Euphrates,appears in Genesis,given to Abraham,it is called the Abrahamic Covenant.
Paul in Romans 11 talks about the covenant given to the Jews and says it still holds,but when you put together all the parts of the OT and NT,it turns out the Promised Land to the Jews become conditional,and the condition is
that the Jews accept JESUS as the Messiah.
By logic the modern state of Israel has no theological basis when you put all the OT and NT passages and analyze them.
This is something all should know,but there is more:
1. GENESIS 12:1-3 has God tell Abraham to go to another land,he will make him a great nation,he will bless those who bless him,and curse those who curse him”
2.Genesis 15:18 has the Abrahamic Covenant where God tell him the land will be from the Nile to the Euphrates. Did you know the EUPHRATES river cuts two Arab countries in half?
It passes through
SYRIA and IRAQ.
The Promised Land includes MINIMUM half of Syria.
3. The Torah can mean the first 5 books of the OT,the Pentateuch, the last one is Deuteronomy,and there God repeats the Promise Land concept.Mosaic Law is contained in the Pentateuch, 613 laws.
Deuteronomy 11:24 says the Promised Land is
”Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea. ”
The Euphrates again.
But it is with strings attached,it is CONDITIONAL.
Deut 28:58 says ”If you do not carefully follow ALL the words of this law, which are written in this book” ,the 613 laws, then what follows are punishments to come,this one and that one, and in verse 63 and 64 it says
”Just as it pleased the Lord to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you. You will be UPROOTED from the land you are entering to possess.
Then the Lord will SCATTER you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. ” Exile,expulsion, by God himself.
The Promised is conditional on establishing a THEOCRACY there,following 613 laws,including death for adultery,fornication, homosexuality, blasphemy,
apostasy, breaking the Sabbath.
The modern state of Israel,which is SECULAR, does not qualify.
1. So we have the ”I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you” be CONDITIONAL,when applied to a state going ALL the way to the mighty EUPHRATES.
It REFERRED,past tense,to a state where 613 laws were respected.According to the NT.
2. In the NT the MOSAIC covenant,the one that has 613 laws,in the Torah has been replaced by the Jesus Covenant he created when?
At the LAST SUPPER the night he was arrested. In 3 of the 4 gospels on that night Jesus takes bread and wine,gives it to his disciples,tells them to eat and drink and calls it all
”the blood of the COVENANT” ( Mark 14:22-24, Matthew 26:26-28 )
and ”NEW covenant in my blood” ( Luke 22:19-20)
One of the reasons why PAUL was a killer of Christians was because they had said Mosaic Law was kaput,he repeats the New Covenant in his letter 1 CORINTH 11:23-25 saying Jesus on that night had said ”NEW Covenant in my blood”.
3. The Epistle to the HEBREWS was sent to the Jewish Christians in JERUSALEM before the destruction of the Temple,before 70 AD, and the head of the Jerusalem Christians,all Jews, was who?
He was JAMES,the brother of Jesus.
There it says Mosaic Law is OBSOLETE and OUTDATED,exact words (Hebrews 8:13 ).
There is a prophecy in JEREMIAH 31:31-34 where God himself is talking saying one day he will create a ”NEW covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah”
that will be different from Mosaic Law.
Hebrews 8:7-13 cites Jeremiah 31:31-34 and then calls Mosaic Law OBSOLETE and OUTDATED,exact words. Hebrews 10:16 again cites Jeremiah 31..
Then in Hebrews 9:15 it says EXACTLY what is meant by the New Covenant: ”CHRIST the mediator of a NEW covenant”.
Hebrews 10:29 says ”blood of the covenant”,phrase used by Jesus when?
In the Last Supper.
Then Hebrews 12:24 again says”JESUS,mediator of the NEW covenant”.
4. All that explains what Paul meant exactly in ROMANS 11:1-10 and what Jesus was referring to in his parable that ends in MATT 21:43,talking to the Jewish leaders who wanted to kill him:
”“Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be TAKEN AWAY from YOU and
given to a people who will produce its fruit. ‘

In ROMANS 11:1-10 Paul says God has NOT rejected the Jews.
Remember Paul agrees Jesus created a New Covenant,that replaces Mosaic Law.
What does he mean?
Paul also says God will keep his PROMISES to the Jews.
1. Romans 11:1-2 says ”I ask then: Did God REJECT his people?
By NO means!
I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did NOT REJECT his people, who he foreknew.”
The Jews rejected the New Covenant of Jesus,Jesus as Messiah.
Then in Romans 11:28-29 Paul says of the Jews:
” As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as
ELECTION is concerned,
they are LOVED on account of the patriarchs,
for God’s GIFTS and his call
are IRREVOCABLE.”
Joel Rosenberg and Joel Richardson say that means the ABRAHAM Covenant of what?
Of a PROMISED LAND, a gift, that goes till where? Till the EUPHRATES. That it is still valid. True,I agree.
That Paul says God has Not Rejected the Jews. True.
What those two grifters do not say is this:
1. The Promised Land, the gift that is irrevocable,
that goes as far as the Euphrates is CONDITIONAL, it is irrevocable but based on 100% obeying the 613 laws of the Torah, called the MOSES Covenant ,having a theocracy in Palestine (Deut 28:58-64)
2.However in the NT the Moses Covenant is declared finished,no more,gone, replaced. By the JESUS covenant.
How to reconcile that with Romans 11:1-2 and Romans 11:28-29?
By logic, it means that the Jews will get their Promised Land all the way to the Euphrates based on the following CONDITION:
No longer on establishing a THEOCRACY in Palestine,not at all,but on
accepting the Jesus Covenant, accepting Jesus as the MESSIAH.
NOT the case of modern Israel.
3. By logic then in the ABRAHAM Covenant,in the part that says God will ”bless those who bless you,and the curse those who curse you”,when in reference to the Promised Land, it refers to opposing Jews living in that area AFTER
what?
After they have accepted Jesus as the Messiah.
NOT the case of the modern state of Israel.
Finally,part 1 , my personal impression is that the Evangelical writers and intellectuals know ALL I have stated and agree with it but do not say so,but give unconditional support to modern Israel,because they want these following PROPHECIES to come true so
Jesus will return.
1. We have a partial copy of ZECHARIAH from 120 BC, and it has Zechariah 12:10. Jerusalem and Judea are surrounded by armies of all the nations. and God will save Jerusalem,here are God’s own words:
”“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication.
THEY ( they,people of JERUSALEM)
will look on ME ( on me,God)
the ONE they have PIERCED, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child”
2. Christian believe it means JESUS,the crucified,pierced on hands and feet,will appear,the Second Coming.
But Jesus will come back only if ”all the nations” go to war against the Jews in Jerusalem.
Only thing to do is make sure war breaks out in the Middle East against Israel,on PURPOSE,to make the prophecy come true.
3. ALSO,there is the prophecy by Jesus in Q where he makes his SECOND COMING be CONDITIONAL.
Jesus will come only when the Jews of Jerusalem accept him as Messiah. Q is 50 sayings of Jesus,written around 50 AD, and that appear in both Luke and Matthew but nowhere in Mark and John.
Luke 13:34-35 and Matthew 23:38-39
”JERUSALEM, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
Look, your house is left to you desolate.
I SAY TO YOU ( expression meaning ”I speak with authority)
YOU ( you,people of Jerusalem)
will NOT see ME (Jesus )
AGAIN ( Second Coming )
until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”
More on that ”‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”
phrase later ( PSALM 118:26 ) but it means Jesus will not come back until the Jews of Jerusalem accept him as Messiah.
When will it happen?
When there are armies around Jerusalem like in Zechariah and then all of a sudden Jesus appears to save them ,with pierced hands and feet.
Only thing to do is make sure WAR breaks out in the Middle East.
Finally,part 2, ”blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord” means the MESSIAH
1. There is Jesus entering Jerusalem one week before his death on a DONKEY.
It is called the Triumphal Entry.
It is in all the 4 gospels,on a DONKEY ( Luke 19:28-40, Matthew 21.1-11.
Mark 11.1-11; John 12.12-19)
2. Two of them (Matthew and John) also cite a prophecy that all the rabbis agree means it is the Messiah,ZECHARIAH 9:9-11:
”Everyone in JERUSALEM,celebrate and shout!
Your KING has won a victory,
and he is coming to you.He is humble
and rides on a DONKEY;
he comes on the colt of a donkey.I, the Lord, will take away war chariots and horses from Israel and Jerusalem.Bows that were made for battle will be broken. I will bring peace to nations,
and your KING will RULE from sea to sea.
His KINGDOM will reach from the EUPHRATES River across the earth.”
Again the Euphrates.
3. Later in 3 gospels ( Matthew 21:33-43, Mark 12.1-12; Luke 20.9-19, Jesus is inside Jerusalem,in his last week,and he tells the religious leaders,who want to kill him,the PARABLE of the RENTERS of a VINEYARD, where in the end the owner sends
his SON who is killed by the renters.
It has ”Jesus asked, “When the owner of that vineyard comes, what do you suppose he will do to those renters?”
The chief priests and leaders answered, “He will kill them in some horrible way. Then he will rent out his vineyard to people who will give him his share of grapes at harvest time.”
Jesus replied, “You surely know that the Scriptures say,
”The STONE the builders REJECTED has become the CORNERSTONE
This is something the Lord has done and it is amazing to us.’.”(PSALM 118: 22 )
Psalm 118 a few verses later (Psalm 118:26) in reference to what?
To the rejected (killed in the parable) stone that becomes the cornerstone says ”Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”.
4. Later in ACTS 4:11 and 1 PETER 2:7 and EPHESIANS 2:20 they all mention the rejected stone that became the cornerstone and say
it means Jesus.Again, Psalm 118:23-26,after the cornerstone passage says:
”the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.The Lord has done it this very day;
let us REJOICE today and be GLAD.
Lord, save us!Lord, grant us success!
Blessed is HE ( who is he? the rejected stone that became the cornerstone ) who comes in the name of the Lord”

I don’t see anywhere in Scripture where we are instructed to use ‘logic’ to understand Scripture. But I do see an awful lot of simply believing what one reads, because the author, the Holy Spirit, has made it plain. For example, let’s try Ezekial 43:7…..”Son of man, this Israel is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet, where I will live among the people of Israel FOREVER. (emphasis mine).
Now, my interpretation of that Scripture is as follows…..”God says that Israel is the place of His throne and He intends to park His feet there and live among the people of Israel forever”.
So I will take God’s spoken Word over your ‘logic’ and I recommend that you do the same. (By the way, it also tells me who will win Israel’s wars in the Middle East. 🙂

The phrase you cited would apply not to the modern state of Israel but to what appears in
ZECHARIAH 12 and later ZECHARIAH 14.
In front of Jerusalem is the MOUNT of OLIVES where days before he was killed Jesus talked about his SECOND COMING,also called
Parousia.
It is the Olivet Discourse ( Matthew 24 and 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21 )
To repeat what is in chapter 12:

Talking about the use of logic it has its place.
NOWHERE in the NT is there a formal statement expressing the doctrine called the TRINITY.
There is One God,but God is 3 Persons,all different ( God the Father,God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit ).
All 3 persons are EQUAL but are different,yet they are ALL the Same God.
But it is not 3 Gods but one God.
In the NT we have passages that tells us there is God the Father,then Jesus says he is God,yet prays to ”the Father”,a passage equates the Holy Spirit with God ( ACTS 5:1-6,
”you have lied to the Holy Spirit….you have lied to God” ),
yet Jesus in the Last Supper talks of the Holy Spirit as a separate entity,different from himself.
The ONLY way to reconcile all this is by the doctrine called the Trinity.
By half Jewish I just mean in the sense one of their parents is Jewish.
