Last week, I examined the reaction to and the consequences of a possible indictment of former President Barack Obama over “Obamagate,” the false claim that “the intelligence community” concluded a) Russians interfered in the 2016 election (which is not in dispute), b) they did so to help elect candidate Donald Trump, and c) Trump “colluded” with the Russians to get elected.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lit the fuse on this phony narrative because at the time she faced possibly campaign-ending political and legal jeopardy for her likely violation of the Espionage Act over the unsecured server in her basement. On the server, she sent and received information — including information stamped as “classified” — despite her public denials.
What to do? Clinton and the Democratic National Committee purchased the Steele dossier, replete with lies and unsubstantiated evidence of Trump-Russia “collusion.” Clinton manufactured a distraction by accusing Trump of working with the Russians to “hack” the election. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard says that intel officials briefed President Barack Obama about the Clinton Plan and of its purpose.
(For designating her bought and paid for phony Steele dossier as a “legal expense,” Clinton received a fine from the Federal Election Commission. She faced no prosecution, let alone by a local prosecutor such as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, under the never-before-tried and convoluted theory that Trump’s supposed violation of federal election law also violated New York state law. For designating the payment to Stormy Daniels as a “legal expense,” Trump was prosecuted and found guilty.)
Shortly before the election, FBI Director James Comey threw her a lifeline. He publicly outlined the compelling factual and legal case against Clinton but said “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring charges because she lacked the intent to violate the law. But the applicable section of the Espionage Act does not require intent.
U.S. Code Section 793(f) makes it a felony for one “entrusted with … information, relating to the national defense” to permit such information to be “removed from its proper place of custody” through “gross negligence.” So, Clinton skated.
Last week, I argued that a prosecution of Obama — America’s first black president — would trigger massive, violent protests and riots that would make the George Floyd-Black Lives Matter 2020 protests look like an elementary school fire drill. Many readers said, in essence, “So what? How many times did Trump-hating Democrats, when pursuing their baseless lawfare against Trump, chant, ‘No one is above the law!’? Justice must be done, irrespective of where it leads and whoever commits the crime.”
This is, of course, a good point. In fact, one could argue, it is the point.
But during the 2016 campaign, Trump held rallies where the audience chanted, “Lock her up!”
During one of their debates, Clinton told Trump, “It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.”
Trump gave this mic-drop response: “Because you’d be in jail.” Trump pledged, if elected, to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton.
Yet, when Trump became president, his Department of Justice brought no charges against Clinton. Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager, said: “… When the president-elect … tells you before he’s even inaugurated he doesn’t wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message — tone and content … And I think Hillary Clinton still has to face the fact that a majority of Americans don’t find her to be honest or trustworthy, but if Donald Trump can help her heal, then perhaps that’s a good thing.”
Attorney General Pam Bondi just ordered a Trump-Russia grand jury probe into Obama officials. After the alleged Jan. 6 “insurrection,” congressional Democrats held public hearings. Republicans could and should do the same thing to investigate Obama officials, including the former president, who collaborated to push the false narrative that consumed so much of Trump 1.0’s time.
Such hearings would deter future conduct that seeks to undermine the legitimacy of an incoming president. As for Obama, Trump could, after the committee reports its findings, give a speech in which he describes in detail what Obama did, why he did it and its ramifications. Then, Trump, “to foster national unity,” could magnanimously announce he will grant Obama a pardon. And Obama, if he chooses, could turn it down.
Forget Watergate this is far more serious then Watergate ever was
Trump is a decent man, but pardoning Obama if it were to come to that would actually be indecent.
So the left had determined that Russia had the means, opportunity and intent to “Fix” an American election.
Is that how we got Biden? Could be, but the worst part is that a major American political party maintained that Russia had control of a Presidential election.
We know Dems are found of projecting their own crimes and moral dysfunctions on the opposition.
What can we reason from all this?
Good article Larry. The law without enforcement results in anarchy. Forget about the protests that the beta males will incite, what about JUSTICE? Deterrent is the motivation for honorable conduct. If the Dems get away with this, there will be hell to pay by honest, hard working Americans when they realize that there was an intentional mutiny against their President. There seems to be a strong undercurrent of growing intolerance toward the left since Trump took office. None of us want violence, but it the left keeps pushing with their violent instigators (like Hitler and Stalin employed to gain control), financed by Soros, this will all blow up. I think it is about time to remove any influence in America by Soros. It is time to stop him and his beta male son.
There is much evil lurking out in the open in the ranks of the Democrats. It is abundantly clear to all who are critical thinkers in America.
Hillary did not commit espionage. Since she never intended to give classified info to a unauthorized person. She did violate the Federal Code that regulates the handling of classified info. Someone in the military who did not put CI info in a safe before leaving an office would lose the security clearance as well as face discipline.
How do you know what her intent was in using the private server? How do you know she wasn’t purposely shuffling Top Secret and Classified docs to the Chinese looky-loos who were reading everything she was sending and receiving? American assets in China died thanks to the daily feed the CCP were getting from Hillary’s server – that’s not a violation of some rinky-dink federal Code, it’s a hangable offense.

1) The most obvious criminal part of the imposture is the forged personal documents by Obama which Sheriff Arpaio fully exposed already on December 15, 2016 in his third press conference.

3) A head of Hawaii Department of Health Ms. Loretta Fuddy suspiciously died. She, the person who hand-delivered the forged Birth Certificate to Obama in 2011, happened to be the only dead in a non-fatal water landing of a small plane in 2013. She was seen successfully evacuating and floating in the water with other 8 passengers. Then while in the water, she suddenly died, her body then being hastily cremated. This looks like a murder of a critical witness.

Therefore , the actual legacy of Obama aiding and straighten American enemy, that “mullah regime’ of Iran, and also letting down the Iranian people by not doing anything to help them when he have in their righteous quest for freedom against that cruel oppressive tyranny.

We all know what Napoleon would make of Trump helping Hillary heal, so she could go on to fight him another and another day. Am I the only one who heard Judge Napolitano say, on Fox News, that his sources in the intelligence community had told him American assets were assassinated in China because of the access China had to Top Secret and classified docs she was sending and receiving over her private server? If that’s true, she’s lived years past what should have been her execution date. Don’t get me started on the guys who died on the rooftop in Begazi.
Let’s not forget the January 6 Select Committee was illegal since the Republican leaders were not allowed to choose Republican members and the way they conducted the hearings were illegal for many reasons from not allowing testimony from Trump’s team to blocking the viewing of evidence from the entire House. All evidence held by a committee belongs to the House, not he committee meaning all House members should have access. There are also allegations the committee members destroyed evidence after President Trump was reelected.
Would be appropriate but Republicans have no backbone.

I realized Comey was crooked when he trotted out that “intent,” nonsense. In the late 80s and early 90s they made it very clear to us, at least once a year, that if we mishandled classified information our intent was irrelevant, and we would be prosecuted. The only person exempt is the President, which made their going after Trump for it even more ridiculous and hypocritical.
