Jack Smith, the guy handpicked by Democrats, to go after Trump under the aegis of the Biden administration, tried to defend his indefensible efforts to indict President Trump to a House hearing.
“When it came to the Capitol riot itself, Smith said, the evidence showed that Trump “caused it and that he exploited it and that it was foreseeable to him.”
Using the term ‘foreseeable’ is as good as an admission that Trump didn’t cause it. It’s an argument you make when you can’t prove intent.
Asked whether there was evidence that Trump had instructed supporters to riot at the Capitol, Smith said that Trump in the weeks leading to the insurrection got “people to believe fraud claims that weren’t true.”
“He made false statements to state legislatures, to his supporters in all sorts of contexts and was aware in the days leading up to Jan. 6th that his supporters were angry when he invited them and then he directed them to the Capitol,” Smith said.
That is an interesting argument with some interesting ramifications.
Jack Smith just laid out a blueprint for indicting everyone involved in BLM and all the politicians, including much of the Democratic Party, which supported it.
They made claims about the death of BLM martyrs like Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd that were not true.
So that’s ‘fraud’ according to Smith.
Then they used that fraud to raise money and build political support. They supported BLM protests and then the resulting violent riots and the damage that resulted are all on them.
And then they supported Jack Smith’s efforts to indict Trump over J6.
So the thing to do now is to start indicting them over the BLM riots using the same reasoning as their favorite witch hunter. What’s good for the goose ought to be good for the gander.
We have the ‘false statements’, we have their support for the BLM protests and we can show how they benefited from them. All that’s left is the indictments.

Hey, Dan condemnation of BLM is alright by me. But you’re doing the “hey, look at that squirrel” thing.
You are tacitly admitting that what Trump did was actionable. Trump did indeed incite a riot and is responsible for Jan 6.
I know you’ll lose a lot of readers/subscribers if you tell the truth, but you’ll have your integrity intact. You can look at yourself in the mirror in the morning unlike thousands of other pundits who know the truth about Trump’s many crimes, but refuse to admit it publicly.
Well, you are the first person in 2026 that I stamp FOS!
As usual, as a cultist you respond with a personal attack rather than a reasoned response. But thanks for tacitly agreeing that I’m correct. I know cultists like yourself can’t stand to look into the dark soul of Trump. Mr. Greenberg knows I am correct.
Sorry, Mr. Greenfield.
You just fail to notice a simple thing – your claim is not reasoned in the first place. It lacks any substance behind it. Even now that Georgia Election Board made Fulton Co to admit that 315K votes – in one county alone – should not have been certified due to NO chain of ballot custody as nobody actually signed to validate any of those ballots. That’s fraud on a grand scale.
It is called sarcasm
Rogue jurist Jack Smith’s maniacal obsession with prosecuting President Trump reminds me of Captain Ahab’s fatal fixation on Moby Dick, the white whale. But a better literary precedent for the rabid Jack Smith is Inspector Javert from Victor Hugo’s “Les Miserables.” Recall that when his prosecution of the virtuous Jean Valjean became impossible, Inspector Javert committed suicide– the logical conclusion of all fanaticism (see Dostoevsky’s Kirillov in “The Possessed”). We now await the last act of the miserable Jack Smith.
So is Smith going to finally do something about the Domestic Terrorists like BLM and Antifa and s end them all to Prison where they belong
DOJ had a rigged Demoncrap judge dismiss the cases of Comey and James – they better have it right and find a judge that is not biased and prejudiced against MAGA with the prick jack smith!
Sadly, they may not be able to. We all go on living as if we are in a nation of laws and a democratic republic but without a real functioning justice system -and a blind one – we are living in some other kind of place. I’m not sure what to call it.
But based on Governor Hochul’s turning our empire city and state, especially the building where the twin towers stood, a nauseating green color, I’d venture to say a caliphate.
Yea, I thought she would at least use the green and red lights to honor her part in the red-green axis.
Yeah, all that would be great, but unfortunately it only works ONE WAY and that is when the DEMOcrats control the INDICTMENTS! As Come(d)y said “No reasonable DA would do it”!
Yeah but Barbie Bondi is too busy prepping her next Fix interview to do anything useful.
Well, if Jackass is claiming the statements about a stolen election are fraudulent, part of the trial should focus on whether those statements are true or false. Once jurors see the statements about the election being stolen are true, Jack will be proven a liar and his defense is toast.
Hillary claimed that Trump stole the election, then she fabricated the Russia collusion hoax to interfere with the Trump administration. By Jack Smith’s logic she should’ve been indicted. And yet, she hasn’t been. Every BS lawfare case brought against Trump during and after his first term (including Jack Smith’s) should be criminal fraud, according to Jack Smith.
If only President Trump did this!
