The very impressive and very young Josh Hammer (he looks like a baby
face through my old eyes) is right that what was self-evident to the
Founding Fathers – We hold these truths to be self evident that all men
are created equal – is not self evident to the rest of the human race.
Historian Tom Holland – author of Dominion – would agree with him In
researching Dominion, Holland, aware of the colossal achievements of
Ancient Rome, was shocked at the depravity and disregard for human
life of those considered subservient. No such things as “rights” existed
in that civilization – and it was only the advent of Christianity that generated
Western civilization with its belief that all human beings are equal before
God and the law. Even today, a preponderance of nations on Earth do not
believe that.
Author and scholar Melanie Phillips agrees that Judaism is the foundation of
Christianity. She has written and lectured that Jews and Christians built the
West and only they can save it. Mr. Hammer is quite right in that regard.
Humans must choose between Western civilization or Barbarism cloaked
in Islam – or globalist Marxism – or digital tyranny – or green nature to
supersede humans – or Transhumanism to reinvent humans – and so on
with the barbarism being that ancient and brutal treatment of others by
the usual self-proclaimed elites.
