It’s always interesting to contrast what liberals say and what they do. They insist that everyone should send their kids to public school… and then they send their kids to private school. They demand bans on guns and defund the police… and then go everywhere with armed security.
And Kamala Harris, the politician who falsely claimed that she escaped segregation as a child in Southern California, bought an $8.5 million home in an area with lots of cameras and an 0.8% black population. Once again, she’s living her truth, which is very different than how she’d like us to live.

Well… she is. But that’s not really the point. The point is that the very people who act like they want to lead a popular revolution, from Kamala to Bernie to Elizabeth Warren to Obama, choose to have wealth and live in very different ways than they want us to live.
The difference between ‘capitalist’ and ‘socialist’ elites is meritocracy. Progressives run on taking away the kind of lifestyles they enjoy from everyone else.

Seems Los Angeles, California Mayor Karen Bass knew there was going to be a destructive fire in the Pacific Palisades in January, 2025 and left the city and country days before it happened as an alibi.
Of course she did, It happens every couple of years or so when the Santa Ana winds are strong enough for as long as I can remember and I was born and raised in L.A.
Moreover, the people that live in that area are aware of the seasonal fire dangers but take their chances and build homes there anyway. Worse, they typically build homes with wooden shingles roofs!
1. the fire department was called off a smoldering fire that reignited to the devastating blaze
2. no water at the fire hydrants
3. DEI (didn’t earn it) Fire Chiefs and top ranking fire personnel
and the list goes on!
The first two have been occurring regularly for decades. Instead of damming up excess water during particularly rainy years, the city and state geniuses let it all flow into the ocean. That way they can keep water rates up and pay year end bonuses to state and local water officials.
And don’t forget the constant drought scare. If next year’s rainfall total is 1% less than this year, state government officials and the media immediately start talking about drought conditions and climate change.
Objectively speaking, California is always in some kind of crisis. From this California resident’s perspective, the only crisis California perpetually suffers from is malfeasance, incompetence, apathy and greed.
Other then that, the state is declining (i.e., going to hell) in a predictable and orderly fashion.

This is eerily reminiscent of the destructive 2023 Lahaina, Maui fires.
In both cases, fire departments were not dispatched or faced empty fire hydrants, or were called off smoldering fires.
So, the moral of the story is that if you buy a house in a location that is too good, the gov’t may very well take it from you by engineering a natural disaster.

the only parts that burned were the old sections on the beach — houses/homes that had been there for 60 yrs and had longterm residents. the whole fire thing was contrived to run them out.
Speaking of that, did you know that L.A. officials have proposed building “affordable” (i.e., low income) housing in the burned out ares? The want to expand the ghetto and get the crime rates up in that area.
Personally, I think the rich libs who lives in Malibu could use a dose of the reality their voting preferences have imposed on everyone else in the L,A, area. It’s only fair.

Let me tell you something: as a life long California resident, that’s never gonna happen. Dimwitted democrat voters in this state aren’t very intelligent and are far too stupid and uninformed to not vote for democrats.
If the devil himself ran for an elected office in California as a democrat, I would all but guarantee that a large majority of democrat voters would vote for the devil.

Are you serious? Is it necessary to ask? I think it’s a foregone conclusion where she got the money from. Billions were spent on her brief presidential campaign. It would be naive to think that a certain percent didn’t make it’s way into her personal bank account.
And don’t forget the speaking fees. You have to be pretty stupid and low IQ to want to pay to see and hear that dimwitted bimbo speak. Listening to a braying jackass is more interesting than listening to anything Kammie Harris has to say. I would argue that the jackass is more intelligent. than she is!

Sergey Brin, is moving. Maybe that is one reason Kamala can afford it. Many people are moving due to taxes targetting the rich.

I think with Newsom running Harris is not going anywhere near the Presidency. She will likely run for California Governor or Senator as it is an easy steal.
