Order Jamie Glazov’s new book, ‘United in Hate: The Left’s Romance with Tyranny, Terror, and Hamas’: HERE.
There is panic in Iran. The regime can’t quell the protesters. And every protester it kills brings Donald Trump closer to unleashing the American military on the regime in Tehran. So far, 217 deaths have been reported; how many more such deaths will it take for Trump to launch missiles and F25 fighter jets at the IRGC, the Basiji, and the regular army?
More on the situation in Iran can be found here: “IRGC placed on ‘highest alert since June’ at Khamenei’s request amid protests – report,” by Goldie Katz, Jerusalem Post, January 10, 2026:
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is at its highest level of alert at the order of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a senior Iranian official told The Telegraph on Friday.
As protests across Iran rage on more than two weeks, Khamenei has “placed his fate in the hands of the IRGC,” according to the official, as regime forces remain on alert levels that are “even higher than during the June war.”
The official claimed that Khamenei “is in closer contact with the IRGC than with the army or the police,” due to his belief that “the risk of IRGC defections is almost non-existent” and fear that members of other forces may defect, leaving him unprotected.
Protesters have begun targeting government officials and state facilities, including setting fire to an Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) office in Isfahan on Thursday….
On Thursday, Trump reiterated that if Iranian regime forces “start killing people,” the US will “hit them really hard,” during an interview on The Hugh Hewitt Show.
Iranian officials fear that US intervention may trigger an “apocalyptic” war, according to The Telegraph.
That war will be “apocalyptic” for only one side — the Islamic Republic. It will not be left intact, as happened after the 12-day June war. This time, the Americans will destroy every last ballistic missile, as well as the factories that produce them. Senior members of the regime who do not manage to flee abroad will be hunted down and killed, mainly by enraged protesters determined to prevent the Islamic Republic from ever being resurrected.
Some officials allow themselves to believe that this time Iran will put up a more formidable resistance than it did in June. There is no sign of that. The regime is much weaker now than it was in June. It has lost its Syrian ally, as well as its two proxies, Hamas and Hezbollah, that have both been devastated by Israeli attacks. Iran has so far managed to replace only a fraction of the ballistic missiles that it lost in the 12-day war. “This time” it will indeed be “very different” — the Americans will flatten what remains of Iran’s defenses and kill many of its senior leaders, political and military. The Supreme Leader, who no longer trusts the army to protect him, and has faith only in the Islamic fanatics of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, ought to be packing his bags in case he has to flee in a hurry, and he should now start to ship much of the country’s gold to himself, care of Sberbank, at 17 Vavilova Street, Moscow, to be waiting for him upon his arrival. What else, after all, can the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, be expected to do?

So how long will it take to see the final downfall of the Imams from central casting. Trump could fix this in an hour. Think about all of the leftists in Minnesota wetting themselves, especially Jacob Frey.
Trump: “hit them really hard,”
I can’t recall who, when or where, but I remember an American Rep., years ago, telling one of those blowhard third world dictator’s, “we are able to put a missile thru your bedroom window whenever we choose”.
Maybe Trump is (not so) subtly, hinting at that.
Actually, it was Libya, Regan and Gaddafi.
Libya became a smart ass and started denying access to part of the Med Sea. Reagan ordered the U.S. in – they shot down the Liyan fighters and destroyed their antiaircraft missiles. Reagan reportedly sent Gaddafi a video tape of a gun camera on one of the U.S. fighters, which had locked onto his personal tent but did not fire.
The message was received.
Thanks, I should have remembered.
Times must be tough at FPM. First it was Robert Spencer erecting a paywall now even Daniel Greenfield has a paywall. I do enjoy reading FPM it’s been a great source of clear and corageous dialog in the face of desperate, dangerous and delusional anti-semitism. But, however, notwithstanding, hitherto and anon, I have enough dibits and debits nibbling away at my bottom line. So I will be shameless as well and find other streams of readily available info. The Hebrew Bible and New Testament being chief among them. Thank you very much.
The Bible offers far better insight than anything we have. That said, the paywall only applies to the FPM+ bonus articles featured on the top right.

Reports I’m reading today (Mark Levin and Daily Wire updates) say Iranians are being slaughtered and the numbers are in the thousands and thousands and thousands. Mark’s contact (a person wh presumably escaped Iran) said the uprising was on the verge of collapse. Also read that Trump received reports of significant numbers killed and the administration is working to confirm. Trump also said if the regime starts to hang people he will act, which I find absurd since it suggests shooting them is somewhat ok. In any case, he has been threatening for days now (like he did multiple times with Hamas with no follow through) as the death toll rapidly rises. I hope and pray the window for action isn’t closing or hasn’t closed. May G-d bless the Iranian people and make a miracle.
