Expect a meltdown from leftist media and politicians alike in response to Lindsey Graham’s announcement about Gaza. “Graham: ‘Change in Strategy’ Coming to ‘Take Gaza Down Like We Did in Tokyo and Berlin,’” Breitbart, July 27, 2025:
Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said a “full military effort by Israel to take Gaza down, like we did in Tokyo and Berlin” is coming in “days and weeks.”
Host Kristen Welker said, “President Trump said he told Prime Minister Netanyahu to quote finish the job this week. I know that you are in touch with President Trump, you’re in touch with Israeli officials. What are you anticipating in is going to happen next?”
Trump stated after a phone call with Netanyahu: “Hamas didn’t really want to make a deal. I think they want to die, and it’s very bad. It got to a point where you have to finish the job.”
An enormous global backlash from members of the Red-Green Axis is inevitable.
The Western left is determinedly clueless about Islam and its role in the Palestinian “resistance” from the River to the Sea. French President Emmanuel Macron recently announced his plan to recognize a Palestinian state, which sends a message about his loyalties in the Israel-Hamas war. It also shows his unity with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which has long recognized a “State of Palestine.” The OIC regards the Palestinian cause as central to the Muslim umma. The anti-Israel UN has also accepted the “State of Palestine” as essentially a full UN member.
Yet Macron couldn’t even explain who the Palestinians are (Arabs who are not any different culturally, linguistically, ethnically or religiously from Syrians, Jordanians and Lebanese) nor where the boundaries of a “Palestinian state” should begin and end. Macron et al certainly do not address jihad threats to Israel; nor do they acknowledge the fact that Hamas caused the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, as the group used Palestinians in Gaza as human shields. Leftists simply parrot Hamas talking points.

As Israel’s plan to “take down Gaza” is about to begin, Graham notes:
Here’s some good news for the people in Gaza, humanitarian quarters are now going to be open. Israel is going to work with the UN, the World Food Program, to get some food into these people who need it. But I think what the topic we’re talking about today is a change in strategy. I think President Trump has come to believe and I certainly come to believe there’s no way you’re going to negotiate an end to this war with Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization who is chartered to destroy the state of Israel. They are religious Nazis. They hold Israeli hostages. I think Israel has come to conclude that they can’t achieve a goal of ending the war with Hamas that would be satisfactory to the safety of Israel. They’re going to do in Gaza what we did in Tokyo and Berlin, take the place by force, then start over again, presenting a better future for the Palestinians. Hopefully, having the Arabs take over the West Bank and Gaza, but I think going forward you’re going to see a change in tactics, a full military effort by Israel to take Gaza down, like we did in Tokyo and Berlin.”
Israel must prioritize its security. It has no choice, and the Palestinian Authority is no better than Hamas in being trusted to rule Gaza. Both the PA and Hamas seek the annihilation of the Jewish state. Secondly, Gazans will ultimately benefit, as Graham indicated.
Israel made a big mistake to disengage from Gaza in 2005 under then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Whole Jewish communities were uprooted by force after they had invested years in the building-up of Gaza to a level of superior agricultural production — an effort that had been called a “miracle.” When the Jewish community left Gaza, they left behind an entire infrastructure, which included sewage and water pipes, factories, greenhouses, and farmland, which included animals. So the Palestinians were gifted with an entire infrastructure they could have used to continue production for their own people. But what did the Palestinians do with this gift? Destroyed it. They uprooted the expansive underground irritation systems created by Israel, which had made Gaza an agricultural paradise, and used the materials to make bombs and other weaponry to kill Jews with, as well as to create undergound tunnels.
In 2006, the Palestinian people in Gaza chose Hamas rule. From 2007 to 2010, the international community donated $7.7 billion to Gaza, despite the fact that it was under Hamas rule. Another $5.4 billion was pledged in 2014 to develop Gaza. Further billions kept flowing in to this very small region, ruled by a monstrous force for evil, Hamas. So Gaza was quickly transformed from a thriving economy with green, fertile lands into a dirty slum, despite the billions donated.

The next days will likely constitute a defining moment. We could be witnessing the final stages of Hamas rule in Gaza, as Israel moves to get rid of Hamas definitively and to secure its borders. Then comes the mammoth task of rebuilding Gaza. The Palestinians would be the beneficiaries of a rebuilt Gaza, perhaps even to the level at which it was before 2005, when Israel disengaged. Whether Palestinians choose to cling to their toxic Islamic hatred of Jews and the Jewish state is another matter. Doing so hasn’t done them much good.

Likewise, the Prime Minister of the State of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is right when he earlier declared that “Hamas must be destroyed.” More recently, he vowed to “End Hamas”
The reason why this is so is because when it comes to those brutal cruel vile heinous malicious and murderous jihadist savages of Hamas it’s “Either kill or be killed.”
So, Hamas needs to be hit long and hard and it should to hit with much military might and. struck great power repeatedly until it’s completely destroyed. As it had been also, rightly said “Half –measures is folly and madness.”
For the jihadists of Hamas will not respond to reason or logic , in others words, they cannot and will not be reasoned with. The only language that are able to understand is that of being the receiving end of a power of a great military might. As Thomas Jefferson had ,rightly ,written “With every barbarous people…force is law.”
Even the leftist US President Franklin D. Roosevelt with all liberal socialist had very wisely declared, “No compromise can end that conflict. There never has been—there never can be—successful compromise between good and evil. Only total victory can reward the champions of tolerance, and decency, and freedom, and faith.”
Prime Minister Benjamin had revealed knowledge and wisdom by his statement about the need to about the very important and necessary need to engage in the “Elimination of Hamas.”
Geert Wilders needs to be appointed interim head of UK and France to bring some sanity to those two failed messes, while there is still something worth saving in those disasters.👺👺👺👺
To give the Israelis their due, they are morally above Sen. Graham’s sudden tough talk.
The deliberate targetting of civilians is a war crime, and this certainly covers the bombing of Tokyo.
In a war zone where the enemy is a terrorist group seeking to maximize civilian casualties, and where much of the civilian population still supports and aids that terrorist group, the death toll in collateral damage will inevitably be high in numbers.
It is not (and cannot be) a war crime to target enemy combatants. Beyond that, there is a need to minimize civilian casualties – you don’t use a bomb that will destroy ten blocks if you have an enemy concentrated in one building, But Israel already does more than the Geneva Conventions require (I think they risk their own ground troops too often for the sake of very hostile civilians).
The big lie of all the world leaders, UN institutions, NGOs and leftist street protesters is based precisely on the blurring of the boundary between targetting civilians on the one hand, and collateral damage on the other. So no thanks at all to Sen. Graham for helping them to blur the distinction, even if today he places himself on the right side.
Hamas needs to be taken down by being hit hard, and then keep on hitting it , repeatedly until it’s completely destroyed ,so that will never be able raise up again .Hamas is a ugly deadly plague and it should be exterminated forever, once and for all.
Senator Graham would make a mediocre rest room attendant at a good hotel. That he visits the White House is an affront to decency. He behaves like a lobbyist for weapons manufacturers and coffin makers.
He may be unlikable but he happens to be accurate this time.
Israel giving up Gaza is like living with pack rats – you hope they will stay in that area of your property but they infiltrate – pack rats carry disease, hamass and hellzbullshita and all of sharia izzylam carries death!
They will not change. They will not relent. They must be wiped off the face of this earth by death! And when uprisings are discovered, these must be put down by methods MOSSAD can employ.
If … still an “if” … Israel plans to defeat Hamas on the order of Berlin and Tokyo, they will need a McArthur-like figure to be Gaza’s Shogun; and, as with Germany a full on de-Nazification program for the entire population. Every person who chooses to remain must be fully investigated and vetted. In 1945 the U.S. set five categories for all Germans; Major Offenders, Offenders, Lesser Offenders, Fellow Travelers, and Exonerated Persons.
War criminals who flee will have to be hunted down to the corners of the earth and the end of time.
Don’t just talk about Berlin/Tokyo. Do it.
