I had an early investigative piece on Graham Platner, the Bernie Sanders endorsed Senate candidate, was not working class (he’s the grandson of a world famous architect, the son of a lawyer who went to a prep school) and not a disillusioned veteran, but was a longtime leftist.
But Dems were sitting on a much bigger pot of opposition research which included Platner’s past Reddit history in which he claimed that he was a Communist and that white rural people were stupid and racist.
“Bastards. Cops are bastards.” Platner replied, “All of them, in fact.”
In another since-removed post from 2020, Platner responded to a thread titled “White people aren’t as racist or stupid as Trump thinks” by writing, “Living in white rural America, I’m afraid to tell you they actually are.”
Could things get worse? There was Planter’s reported self-identification as an “Antifa Supersoldier”.
But no, that didn’t do it, the SS tattoo however is making Platner a truly national figure.
A video showed Platner with an SS Nazi tattoo. Graham Platner claimed that he got it when he was drunk and didn’t know it was a Nazi ‘Death’s Head’ tattoo.
Except he apparently did.
““He said, ‘Oh, this is my Totenkopf,’” the former acquaintance told Jewish Insider recently, speaking on the condition of anonymity to address a sensitive issue. “He said it in a cutesy little way.”
Now, Platner is committing to having Mein Totenkopf removed. Which really isn’t the issue.
Having a phrase like ‘I am not a secret Nazi’ come out of your mouth is.
But in a kind of Hitler-Stalin pact, in which Graham Platner seems more than able to play both sides, leftists, including Bernie Sanders, are standing behind a man some are now calling Maine Fuhrer.
Asked about the SS tattoo, Bernie Sanders, who can’t handle questions, let alone tough questions, ranted that “we don’t have enough candidates in this country that will take on the powers that be and fight for the working class” and you can’t be too critical of fake working class guys with Nazi tattoos.
Much like the rest of the Platner campaign, it only got better from there.
“In all due respect, all right, what I’m worried about, 50,000 Americans may die unnecessarily? And you’re worried about a tattoo?” Bernie ranted.
When I asked about his comments about sexual assault, he said “Have you served four tours of duty?” I said “I have not.”
Horseshoe theory doesn’t get any better than this.
Bernie Sanders is talking about Obamacare subsidies. Healthcare. Which Platner, it turns out, doesn’t provide to his staff.
But all of this is bound to turn around when Graham Platner finally releases his campaign memoir: Maine Kampf.

The right wing in Germany between the World Wars consisted of those forces who wanted to restore the monarchy in some form. They wanted nothing to do with Hitler and Hitler hated them back.
The Party that Hitler represented was the National Socialist German Workers Party, (NSDAP). Doesn’t sound like a right-wing party, extreme or otherwise.

It’s a singularity or identity. Nazi’s or fascists =socialism=communism (Stalin rebranded socialist enemies to fascists so they could propagandize that Hitler wasn’t just another, garden variety, far left toad). There is not a whit of difference between them, nor any of 87 brands of socialism they currently categorized as having differences from one another. Just in the way they dupe their followers into being useful idiots which basically is not issues based but hatred based and feudal loyalty. The real political distinction is statism vs Republican or Democratic government, not right vs left.
Hitler capitalized on the hatred of Jews, and the virulent anti-semitism of Europe, which when reduced had a strong component of being an extension of hate the rich. Being that Jews were .79% of Germany at the time the German anti-Semitism was warranted in that immigration of 500k Jews would have meant they had doubled their numbers, but his main attack was the same as the communists,hate the rich.
Totenkopf? Didn’t know that was the name. War history is a favorite subject. It’s a little eclectic to know the name of that symbol or likely to pick it, as it identifies the person as a Nazi enthusiast. A little manic. It made me laugh uncontrollably. C’mon the guy is Jewish and that’s what he picks so he has a conversation piece, an ice breaker at social gatherings? Daniel isn’t helping things with his Maine Kampf and letting us know Nazi tatto guy doesn’t supply healthcare, but Bernie is giving that the reason to vote for him is healthcare. Grenades, curling and horseshoes are not things dims will prosper if they use the same formula they do with honesty. With honesty dims don’t care whether they are close and they don’t even bother to try to be close.

The Death’s Head or Totenkopf is not really a NAZI symbol. It is actually the symbol of the Black Hussars, sometimes called the Death Hussars, a cavalry regiment which was created by Frederick the Great of Prussia. It was a badge on the front of their headgear. Through the centuries, other German Army units have adopted the symbol.
That being said, I doubt comrade Platner has ever heard of Frederick the Great, Prussia, or hussars.
Every single time I hear anything from or about Bernie Sanders, my opinion of Vermont voters goes down a little more. And there’s not much “more” there, to tell the truth. This guy has been warning us about ‘oligarchy’ for more than a quarter century, all while worming himself ever more securing into our own oligarchy. And now he’s released a book entitled “Oligarchy”.
