Democrats used to claim that they were just providing sanctuary states and cities for illegal aliens, sorry ‘undocumented persons of illegality’, but not violent criminals, just perhaps the occasional illegal driving without a license with a blood alcohol level with no zeroes in it.
The Zohran Mamdani administration is keeping it real by announcing New York City will be a sanctuary for violent illegal alien felons.
Elle Bisgaard-Church, the Chief of Staff for Zohran Mamdani, claimed that Mamdani “made clear that we uphold sanctuary laws in our city and all immigrants will be safe in our city” and those ‘laws’ only allow cooperation with ICE “in extreme violent felony cases.”
What’s an “extreme violent felony”? Well it’s different than a moderate violent felony like a mugging, assault, rape or a mild murder.
It’s kind of like moderate Islam and extreme Islamic terrorism.
Moderate violent illegal aliens will be protected by Mamdani, but if they kill more than 3 people in one hour (unless they do it while shouting “Allah Akbar”) they may be turned over to ICE.
Of course it depends on how you define moderate. Since Mamdani thinks Hamas is moderate, it might actually be more like killing 1,000 people in one hour.
Still you can’t deny that Mamdani is a moderate. Just wait till the next DSA candidate announces that cities must be a sanctuary for illegal alien extreme violent felons.
Mamdani’s chief of staff says that NYC will remain a sanctuary city under Mamdani.
That means easier mass deportations as there will be more illegals to round up in a smaller location.

He’s making tough-talk statements but then does not follow through with them drawing into question his honesty and integrity. Bravado might work at campaign rallies but the nitty-gritty necessary to orchestrate the changes required for America is what the President of our country ought to be making the priority.
For all we know, Mamdani may facilitate jihadi terrorist cells already in our country finding sanctuary within NYC to come after the Jews and others with impunity. What about the safety of non-Muslim women? Will they be safe when he is in office? Only an idiot would believe that. As a woman I am appalled at the emotionalism my gender embraces when making decisions that should be based on facts and logic. It’s all about “feeeeeelllllliiiings.” This is why gays and young women vote like they do — both are very emotions driven groups. No not all of them, I recognize that — they would be conservatives if they used their brains and some do. My cousin is gay and conservative. But liberals in these groups? Drama queens, all of them. And they are pushing this country over a cliff. I have daughters in both camps — one is logical, the other is all about emotions. She’s full of anger and rage at the world, and I have no clue why. She was raised in a middle class family, went to a private conservative religious school, but when she went to college, her brains fell out her butt. She has had little difficulties in life. She has nothing to be so angry and whiny about. I wish there was something I could do to open her eyes, but I can’t think of what it could be. I just pray and hold her up to G-d nightly and ask for her eyes to be opened. I try to talk to her when the conversation leads that way, but it’s like talking to a brick wall. It makes me sadder than you can imagine.
