“Admits” is a big word. The media wouldn’t admit it was lying if it had claimed that there was an ice age and it was on fire. It didn’t admit to lying about Russiagate. It won’t admit to lying about Gaza. And it certainly won’t admit to its blizzard of insane lies about Paramount canceling Colbert’s show because of some secret deal with Trump.
There was always a massive problem with the Colbert conspiracy.
If CBS canceled Stephen Colbert’s sinking show, shouldn’t it have also reoriented the anti-Trump reporting on CBS News?
And there’s an even bigger problem. CBS brought Colbert over from its sister channel, Comedy Central, where Jon Stewart is back to sadly helming The Daily Show. Shouldn’t CBS have also canceled The Daily Show? Or South Park?
Wednesday’s 22-minute “South Park” episode also included withering criticisms of the president. In one scene, Mr. Trump becomes enraged with a painter after checking on the progress of a nude portrait of himself. Later, he is shown in bed with Satan discussing Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced former financier.
Making the episode more remarkable was that it aired just hours after Paramount and Comedy Central announced a new deal with Park County, the production studio run by the creators of “South Park,” Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The deal will pay Park County at least $1.25 billion over five years, two people with knowledge of the arrangement said.
Earlier this week, Mr. Stewart, the host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, also went on the attack. He said Paramount had “lost the benefit of the doubt” about the motivations for canceling Mr. Colbert’s show after “they sold out their flagship news program to pay an extortion fee to said president.”
If Stewart really thought so, shouldn’t he be worried about getting fired? Obviously not. Nor are Parker and Stone worried. They’re making jokes about the idea instead of doing what people actually worried about their next career move actually do.
The whole thing was a conspiracy theory transformed into a media frenzy and pounced on by Senate Dems and other politicians. It was a dumb lie told by people who no longer have any kind of regard for lies or truth, and told to people so deranged that they no longer have any concept of the truth.
It was so obviously fake that it could have been disproven by just looking at the evening news or the lineup of other Paramount properties. Yet instead of conceding that it was wrong, the New York Times reports on the attacks on Trump without ever admitting its lies. Because the media will never admit it was lying. Congenital liars never do.

The M.S. Media is 99% Lies 1 % truth just the leftists propaganda that aids the Dem-O-Rats all the time with the NYT’s on the top of the Fake News
go look it up…Paramount NYSE listed stock , symbol PARA, 4 years ago 07/31/2021, it was $40/share. TODAY $13.30. Keep in mind, in 2021, PARA earned $8.00/share profit, Today, the past 12 months is a $7.00share LOSS. The stock is down near 60% over 4 years. COLBERT SHOULD HAVE BEEN “CUT” several years ago! CBS-Many bad decisions, in programming, that has led to these losses. Without spending anymore time on this, but bet their CBS News division, years of losses, as viewers “flicked the channel button” to a more newsworthy source. IMHO
Liberalism isn’t as profitable as they think it is. People aren’t as stupid as they seem to think and are tuning that PC liberal bias out.
Especially in this day and age where every program has to have a minority, a male homosexual, a man hating masculine lesbian, a drag queen, a weak beta male, a strong boss babe female, children who talk back to their parents, homosexual parents{WTF?] and a dimwitted uneducated right wing white guy to round things out.
“potentially being white” is the new media census.
No matter the truth in the outcome, whites are in every crime circle because the Left says so.
The leftist version of diversity.
I used to watch South Park, in spite of a dislike of cutout style animation. (I much prefer Tex Avery style animation.)
I watched because South Park skewered both libs AND cons; it was equal opportunity…..at least it was 20 years ago.
Today? I wouldn’t know. I’m back to reading the printed word, and also reading and commenting online.
Does Frontpagemag have Fair Use rights to cartoons like South Park? It would come in handy if it shared such materials.
South Park are still equal opportunity slaggers of everybody and everything.
Libs say “blacklisted” because it has an ominous ring to it, calling to mind government forces disappearing public figures down the memory hole.
David Horowitz in his seminal “Radical Son” offered perhaps the best explanation of what “blacklisting” really meant. In a poignant chapter about his father, a proud, lifelong communist who read the Daily Worker until the day he died, Horowitz tells the story of when his father was called before a school board panel regarding his communist sympathies. Like all good commies and, if memory serves, on orders from The Party, his father denied his card-carrying membership in the CPUSA and accused the panel of antisemitism. Horowitz wrote, (I paraphrase), “All his life my father waited for the moment he could boldly proclaim his Socialist bonafides and ended his career protesting as a Jew.”
Similarly, the so-called “Hollywood Ten” when brought before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) in 1947 to answer for their communist sympathies and activities, pled the 5th and decried supposed persecution of conscience. Like Horowitz’s father, the Hollywood Ten was then “blacklisted” and prevented from working under their real names or receiving credits in movies, etc. They were imprisoned briefly. Many went on to work under pseudonyms thereafter. To this day, Lefties decry their punishments but as always, lie about the whole affair.
Being a member of the CPUSA or otherwise sympathetic to communism was never illegal in the United States. Lying about it on government employment applications and refusing to cooperate in a Congressional hearing was. Horowitz, Sr. lost his teaching post for untruthfulness, the Hollywood Ten went to jail for Contempt of Congress.
As for “blacklisting”? That was done by Hollywood honchos who saw the writers as damaged goods and bad for business. Horowitz’s father? Having been discharged for concealing his past in his employment records he was unemployable in the schools of the day. And Colbert? A business decision was reached by his PRIVATE EMPLOYERS he has become too toxic and a net minus to their bottom line and are merely expanding his business horizons.
As David Horowitz wrote in Radical Son, (again, paraphrasing), “Their sympathies and activities were never illegal, what they demanded was the right to lie about them.”
I’m a fan of Parker and Stone. They’re a bit like the Trumps of comedy. They say whatever the heck they like (and sometimes take some heat for it). And as much as their detractors try, they won’t go away.
Apparently, in Leftist circles, to be true a provable falsehood, according to John Brennan, just has to “ring true” and that’s good enough.
An earlier example was the fake National Guard documents re George W. Bush.
One wonders why the broadcast networks have viewers. Neither entertainment nor news are on offer, only indoctrination and propaganda.
