As I noted yesterday, the whole thing is a lie. The Sioux leader couldn’t identify the men in question, yet claimed that, based on the word of a ‘bystander’ who couldn’t identify them either, that members of his tribe were being held by ICE.
And that ICE was pressuring him to make some sort of a deal.
In the least shocking news ever… it was a lie.
The president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe has walked back claims he made in a memo and press release earlier this week that immigration enforcement arrested four tribal members and that the federal government tried to extract an “immigration agreement” out of the tribe in return for information about their members’ whereabouts.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said it can’t verify claims that any of their officers arrested or “even encountered” members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe or found anyone in their detention centers claiming to be a tribal member. They denied asking the tribe for any kind of agreement.
Tribal President Frank Star Comes Out has not responded to repeated requests for comment, including after his updated memo was released on Thursday.
The media also couldn’t be reached for comment about why it constantly lies and whether it has any plans to stop constantly lying and shift over to maybe only lying on weekends or even days of the week. But stay tuned for the next twenty lies about ICE.

It was discovered that the mass murder of little Indian children in schools in Canada was completely fabricated, but that didn’t stop them from making a TV mini-series about it and politicians still referencing the imaginary events as if they were real. I’ve heard sharks still swim the Cheyenne river looking for Sioux that were dragged off the reservation by ICE agents.
Bull sharks swim in rivers. One was known to have swam up the Mississippi River all the way to Illinois. They kill people and eat them in rivers in America and Australia and who knows where else except shark experts, I guess.
