The mainstream media is generally oversensitive and prone to hysteria over any criticism of it.
We’re talking about the same people who decided that being told “learn to code” was a hate crime that demanded immediate social media censorship.
Being called the “enemy of the people” was a death threat and, as an NBC News op-ed insisted, “The president’s dangerous rhetoric has consequences. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.”
And yet from the media’s blasé attitude, you wouldn’t know that two anti-Trump Muslim men were busted for planting a firebomb under a news van in Utah last week. And a former teachers’ union legislative director was released after shooting at an ABC affiliate.
Had conservatives done either of those, not to mention both, within the space of a week or two, and there would have been a massive media freakout with warnings that ‘journalists’ were on the endangered species list.
Had conservatives shot up a TV station or tried to blow up a news van, it’s the only thing you’d hear about. For weeks. If not months.
But it’s the ‘wrong sort of people’ doing it. It’s leftists. And so the media just doesn’t talk about it.
Either the media’s really not that sensitive to violence or it’s willing to take one for the team or the party. Or, it really does believe that radical violence, even directed at it, is speech, while speech it opposes is violence.
The media is reaping what one has sown. Fine.
We HAVE NO MEDIA – in the real sense of the word! There’s the DEMOcrat apologist network and then a few actual NEWS MEDIA. We’ve seen this in action for a VERY long time and now we have a PRESIDENT who is not afraid to call them out for their corruption and ignorance! Of course that is called “Attacking the media”! There there’s the DEMOcrat party! Has there EVER been a more corrupt or anti-America group of people SUPPOSEDLY representing us in Congress?
We should all be thankful for PRESIDENT TRUMP and his TEAM. I surely am!
Mr. Greenfield says that if the fake news media had been physically attacked by its enemies (you and me) instead of its allied terrorists of various stripes then there would have ensued “a massive media freak out.” Of course, from the perspective of sane people, the fake news media is always in “freak out” mode. The question that comes to my mind concerning a supposed extraordinary “massive media freak out” by the perpetually freaked out legacy media is the same contemptuous question that Jazz Age wit Dorothy Parker posed when informed that low-keyed President “Silent” Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933) had died: “How can they tell?”
USA, fortunately, has the 2nd Amendment. This will stop any sharia from what they do in Arab nations!

That way they can pass legislation making it illegal to oppose to the democrat cultist party followed by draconian legislation empowering the government to confiscate all guns and anything else they perceived as a deadly weapon.
From there America will be finished. Which is the dems long term goal. Sad to say, the dems are still butt hurting over losing the civil war!
Oh, I came across a good historical example last night. During the Peninsular War against Napoleon (early 1800s), Wellington had a lot of trouble dealing with the revolutionary Spanish government, which was rebelling against Napoleon. He said the only political authority in rebel Spain was the very wild gutter press, otherwise the rebel Spanish government had no power. And that was a good example case against a legislature under the thumb of the press.
