Actually the rationale is pretty abundantly clear. Apart from the 47 years of Iranian attacks on Americans, the Iranians themselves provided the rationale.
President Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff said that Iran claimed it had enough enriched uranium to make 11 nuclear bombs before the U.S. and Israel launched an attack on the country over the weekend.
Witkoff told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Monday that Iran’s negotiators had said to him and Mr. Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, before the strikes that the country controlled roughly 460 kilograms of uranium at 60% enrichment. Witkoff said that the uranium could have been enriched to the weapons-grade level of 90% within a week to 10 days.
“Both the Iranian negotiators said to us, directly, with, you know, no shame, that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60%, and they’re aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs, and that was the beginning of their negotiating stance,” Witkoff told Fox News.
Regular readers know that I’m no fan of Witkoff, and he’s certainly no hawk or warmonger.
The Iranian message to Trump was, much as to Obama, either accept our nuclear problem or else. They didn’t consider that the ‘or else’ might not be what they were expecting.
The media’s pretense that there’s some complicated rationale for the war is an attempt to get away from the simple fact.
The Obama nuclear deal accepted that a nuclear Iran was inevitable. Trump didn’t. There were two ways that could go. Trump could change his position. Or Iran could change theirs.
Neither one happened. And so we’re bombing Iran.
Pretense is right. President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio have clearly said in their public statements why the psychotic regime in Iran was removed within minutes, and it wasn’t in service of dem Joos……er,……Israel, as the D-Bag media meme claims.
I wonder if this latest mentally retarded meme will make it to Friday? Not even the scummiest D-Bag liars like Schmucky Schemer, Inbred Omar, Ragheada Tlaib and Hawkena Jeffries have been able to hawk this whopper.
I bet Steve Whackoff is still perplexed as to why his empty diplomacy failed as always. “The purpose of diplomacy is to prolong a conflict,” so he was defiled by a double defeat.
And it’s been said many times but I’ll repeat it: Boy did the iniquitous Iranian regime misjudge our President. And they were so stupid they did it with a U.S. naval flotilla amassed off their shores and countless drones, bombers and fighter jets in the region fueled and ready to go.

Obviously the US media has been ignoring Iran’s shouts of “death to America” and don’t (or didn’t) think they meant it. To me, that like a person who’s dog keeps barking at you and they try and tell “he doesn’t bite.” Bullsh*t! You ever looked inside a dog’s mouth? Of course they bite! And if given the chance, it will bite you.
When Iranians shout “death to America”, I believe them and don’t doubt them. That’s why Trump is “doing them” to deprive them of the means and opportunity to “do us.”

Exactly. But unfortunately, too many Americans, and the virtual totality of the worldwide media, are too stupid or ignorant to perceive this. Would a couple of sudden, surprise fusion detonations above a few of our east coast targets in maybe five years do anything to change that?
