How far did Minneapolis and Minnesota go in urging Americans to abandon their values and accept Somali Muslim ‘cultural values’?
A report from the Hennepin County Medical Center that was posted on the Minneapolis Minnesota Department of Health site was titled “caring for women affected by female genital cutting” or FGM, a Muslim practice common among Somalis of mutilating the genital areas of young girls, “Striving for Health Equity’.
The ‘Equity’ report defined the “big hurdle” as, “Muslim (Somali) Culture: Value Acquiescence to Allah as supreme authority” and “American Culture: Value the supremacy of the individual”.
Even though FGM is a crime in Minnesota (for now at least), the report urged American medical personnel to practice “humility” and “cultural sensitivity”.
It warned Americans about “being aware of your values, biases and boundaries” and used as a negative example a previous statement by the medical facility, “This isn’t about respecting someone’s culture – it’s about being complicit in mutilating women.”
The ‘equity’ FGM report was very much about respecting Somali Islamic ‘culture’.
The report urged Americans to practice “humility” and to view FGM as “Opportunity to learn about their culture and view of health as well as to teach about ours” and warned them to consider “immigrants life experiences which are so much different (and more difficult) than our own.”
When it came to Somalis, there was no law, only the supremacy of their religion and culture.

Normally I rightly detest female genital mutilation but I’ll make an exception for Inbred Omar.
They force women to get a “Female Circumcision” because Muslim men find it offensive if a women enjoys sexual intercourse. Surgically removing the clitorous.
And Somali and other myzzlym men enjoy orgasms with young boys who they then groom to believe women are lower than dogs and to be a pirate, steal, lie, graft, corruption, and all the other things the USA culture find abhorrent and repugnant and illegal.
This is “cultural insensitivity” at its worst. America doesn’t need cultural sensitivity; it needs cultural assimilation: taking pride in living in America and enjoying the freedom and liberty it offers its citizens.

“Somali islamic culture” is an oxymoron. Culture implies development : exploration, understanding, expansion, improvement – all forbidden by islam.

When Somali women started coming to our Toronto hospital to have their babies , the staff were horrified to find these women mutilated and sewn up with an inch opening as a passageway. They did C- sections. It was causing great upset to everyone.
The public schools tried to do educational sessions on FGM and why this was a problem. So at that time, the Somali people just started taking their girls overseas for the procedure. Now with an influx of Muslim doctors, many Somali women will not come to a non Muslim doctor for fear of being exposed, so it is not known how widespread this practice continues to be.
I often wondered about the surgical technique of Muslim slavers who castrated black male slaves. Turns out their technique was so crude that a large percentage of them died, but black slaves were so cheap that the slave masters didn’t care if they died.
I have heard that some of these “doctors” are simply old women who perform this sort of thing as a religious obligation, hence their bringing in large numbers of family members thru our lax immigration programs. Not sure that there are ANY medical schools in Somalia that grant diplomas! I wish someone in Congress like Nancy Mace would ask Ilhan Omar or that reprehensible Tlaib creature if they’ve experienced this “cutting”; I find it curious that most of the Muslims in Congress are women. This removes attention from the men in their community who are quietly going about their nefarious work ripping off American taxpayers while the ladies get to make speeches.
Stupidity, cowardice, evil, and dhimmitude abound.
