France just canceled its New Year’s Eve celebration. It’s on high alert citing a ‘very high’ risk of Muslim terrorist attacks on Christmas markets while citing past Islamic terror attacks on Christmas markets. Especially in Germany. Here’s another one.
What makes this one stand out is the seeming brazenness of it.
In Lower Bavaria, several men are suspected of planning a vehicle attack on a Christmas market. Arrest warrants have been issued for four of them. Authorities suspect an Islamist motive.
What was their first hint of an ‘Islamist’ motive?
According to information obtained by BILD, the Egyptian man was a prayer leader who allegedly called upon the three Moroccans in a mosque in the Dingolfing-Landau area to carry out the attack. Authorities stated that the goal was “to kill or injure as many people as possible.”
According to the Attorney General’s office, they are a 56-year-old Egyptian, a 37-year-old Syrian, and three Moroccans aged 22, 28, and 30. According to the current state of the investigation, the Egyptian man allegedly called for an attack in a mosque in the Dingolfing-Landau area “in order to kill or injure as many people as possible,” the public prosecutor’s office stated.
The three Moroccans were reportedly prepared to carry out the attack. The Syrian man is said to have reinforced their resolve.
What did German authorities think Islamic prayers consisted of? Pretty much this. If they’re going to ban calls for the death of infidels, well that’s pretty much banning Islam.
