What does the Left see in Islam? Ruhle spells it out.

RUHLE: That they will die for, that they’ll destroy their country for.”
There’s Freudian slips aplenty here. The KKK had deep beliefs in things they were willing to die for, but Ruhle wouldn’t gush over them or dismiss them as just disagreeing “with Iran and what their point of view is,” The people who talk this way view Islamic terrorism as a point of view. One they may differ with to some degree, but also one where they admire the Iranian campaign against America.
What does Islam bring to the table? Ruhle said it. They’re willing to die to destroy America. That’s something the Left wishes it had more of and relies on Islam to deliver.
That these arrogant dimwits sit around a table and “converse” is bizarre.
The thought that anyone watches at home and nods in agreement is frightening.

How do leftists feel about Christians with deep religious beliefs? You know, the ones clinging to their bibles as Obama might say. or that Colorado baker that’s been to the supreme court a couple times defending his first amendment rights.

I identify with this statement. Immigration and trade were our two biggest policy disasters. I worked at a semiconductor fab that got shipped to China and textiles and the shipyard were the two biggest employers where I grew up. We were frustrated for a reason. We can also see what happens to nations that lose their Christian character, give up their guns, and allow mass migration. The Bible, guns, anti-immigrant and anti-trade(everyone knows what I mean by this) sentiment are all these things to which we should cling. We do this proudly because we know the alternative.
I actually agree with the woman. That kind of passion and committment IS impressive and admirable. Too bad it’s so they can die for their prophet. Too bad it’s for a moon god. Too bad that conservatives and Christians don’t have half of that.
The Left loves Islam because it’s the only religion right now that still exists in its medieval, totalitarian, puritanical form.
Except for tiny sects like the Amish and the Hasidim, Judaism and Christianity, no longer, (as of right now,) exist in their medieval, theocratic, puritanical form. They are right now too modern and secularized to be useful for establishing a totalitarian state.
Too bad that conservatives and modern Christians don’t have the understanding that what they are actually fighting for if life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness here on earth.
Dying is easy, any moron can strap a bomb on and blow themselves up to kingdom come.
It’s life that is hard, try discovering how to grow wheat, harvest it, and make it into bread from scratch, without the knowledge left to us by our ancestors. That’s a whole lot harder than blowing yourself up with a bomb.
We don’t have anything in common with them, nor do I want to have anything in common with them.
My parents and their generation could barely understand the Japanese and Germans. At their core they had a basic decency where certain things didn’t exist and they couldn’t even imagine them.
For that matter putting a baby in a microwave or oven or rounding up children to be raped and trafficked for sex and burning down the world for any reason was something they could barely fathom, except it was evil.
We don’t have any leadership or dissection of problems that need addressing. Nothing is defined and any passion we have is always betrayed by retreat.
I would have liked to see this video, but I never joined Face Book or any other social media. Not that I’m antisocial, but sometimes words come out of my fingertips that should have remained in my mind.
I just didn’t want those things floating thru cyberspace with my name attached.
Who knows, as an old retired, handicapped, hard of hearing, construction guy with a bad memory and iffy heart, I might want to run for public office one day.

Since Iran is still firing missiles into Israel and other Arab nations, keep taking out their ability to fire missiles. Destroy their missile launchers wherever they can, decimate their army and walk in and take the keys away from the satanic criminals.
