Good thing there’s no history of Islamic terrorists committing horrifying crimes using trucks.
Scores of people were killed Thursday night in southern France when a large truck barreled through a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in the city of Nice. The 84 people killed included 10 children watching the fireworks display.
The truck plowed through pedestrians for more than a mile along a seaside road before coming to a stop.
But we’re talking about America. And surely we wouldn’t let an alleged terrorist, an illegal alien at that, drive a truck?
A criminal illegal immigrant who was released into the U.S. under the Biden administration and began working as a commercial truck driver has been arrested over alleged ties to terrorism, federal authorities announced Monday.
Akhror Bozorov, 31, hails from Uzbekistan, where authorities issued a warrant for his arrest in 2022 for allegedly belonging to a terrorist organization, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said. Authorities in Uzbekistan accused him of distributing terrorist propaganda calling for jihad online and recruiting terrorists to join the jihad movement.
ICE arrested Bozorov on Nov. 9 while he was working as a commercial truck driver, driving an 18-wheeler in Kansas.
Bozorov illegally entered the U.S. in February 2023, according to ICE. Border Patrol arrested Bozorov upon entry, though ICE said the Biden administration then released him into American communities.
At this point the standard for driving a commercial vehicle is as low as becoming mayor of New York City.
Is there some reason there aren’t international tribunals to hunt down and try these people? They hunted the NAZIs.
Maybe what it really takes is a lot of bad press, not a heinous crime. Stalin rabidly labelled the NAZIs as fascist, far right and rallied the Western press to carry out this libel/manipulation for him so communism wouldn’t get smeared with the same brush. He knew only too well how important it was for communism’s spread for the world to remain ignorant about its shared liberal roots.
Even bad press or labeling the terrorists right wing wouldn’t work. Liberals only care about punishing people who are America firsters and protecting any who hate and want to tear down America.
Democrats think it’s unfair that other parts of the world experience more muslim murder and mayhem than the U.S. The tenets of social justice require us to up our share.
