Order Robert Spencer’s new book, Holy Hell: Islam’s Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who Enable It: HERE.
President Donald Trump said it on Nov. 1, 2025: “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities. I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”
That announcement came the day after Trump recognized the large-scale Islamic jihad against Christians in Nigeria: “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN’ — But that is the least of it. When Christians, or any such group, is slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria (3,100 versus 4,476 Worldwide), something must be done! I am asking Congressman Riley Moore, together with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee, to immediately look into this matter, and report back to me. The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries. We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian population around the World!”
After that, the Muslim persecution of Christians in Nigeria went on as it had before Trump issued his threat. Then on Christmas Day 2025, U.S. airstrikes in Nigeria targeted leaders of the Islamic State. And that was that, although on Jan. 23, 2026, Trump claimed that “in Nigeria, we’re annihilating terrorists who are killing Christians.”
We weren’t. And so on April 5, Easter Sunday, Sahara Reporters reported that Islamic jihadis “set a church and several homes ablaze in what residents described as a coordinated attack on the predominantly Christian settlement” in the Kwapul community of the Chibok Local Government Area in Nigeria’s Borno state. The jihadis’ “late-night raid on Saturday that extended into the early hours of Sunday.” The Nigerian government has provided no help to the Christians whom Islamic jihadis target, and so in Kwapul, “locals said the ‘attackers operated for hours without resistance,’ underscoring fears that rural populations remain highly vulnerable despite years of counterinsurgency efforts.”
The same day that report appeared, Sahara Reporters also reported that “during the early hours of the morning,” that is, Easter morning, Islamic jihadis “targeted congregants at the First ECWA Church and St. Augustine Catholic Church while they were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” This attack took place in the Ariko community of the Kachia Local Government Area in Kaduna State.
The jihadis murdered at least seven people and abducted several others. Once again, “residents lamented that the assailants operated for a prolonged period without any resistance from security agencies. Bawa attributed the delayed response to the chronic lack of telecommunications coverage in the rural district, which prevented locals from calling for help as the slaughter unfolded.”
If lack of telecommunications coverage is the real reason for the delayed response from authorities, what accounts for the delays all the other times? Could it be, rather, the Muslim-dominated government of Nigeria not care if Christians are killed? Will Trump’s interest in this genocide extend beyond his single threat and token airstrike?
The jihadis weren’t finished. The Daily Post reported Sunday that “no fewer than 17 persons have reportedly been killed following an attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State on Easter Sunday.” The jihadis “stormed the community, killing several people and setting houses ablaze.”
That’s three jihad attacks in Nigeria in one twenty-four hour span, with two of the coming on the holiest day of the Christian calendar, and all of them coming five months after Trump warned that “if the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”
These empty threats are counterproductive. They do not deter the persecutors, and they demoralize the persecuted. Meanwhile, does no one at the United Nations or among the entire world’s vaunted “human rights” apparatus have any concern for the Nigerian Christians, or any interest in giving them some genuine help amid the jihad that would exterminate them? Or would such help be “Islamophobic”?

Is been forever obvious that the Nigerian government is helping the moo slim murderers. All Nigerian Christians should leave Nigeria or submit their lives to certain martyrdom
Yet not a peep from the leaders of the main Christian churches……Pappa Leo is more concerned about Trump’s forces hurting members of the IRGC and the ayatollahs. But then again Moslems are apparently being given churches throughout Europe to convert to mosques…..free of charge….so Leo must be concerned about his clients. No need to upset them, right Leo?
Church of England is no better as they’ve long ago surrendered to the new masters taking over Britain.. and anyway, those African members of its congregation aren’t big fans of homosexual marriage and adopting of children like the church is, so why worry about them?
Nigeria: Three Jihad Attacks in 24 Hours
A spiritual battle being waged in the natural world.
I was thinking of this today. Christians being slaughtered on the African continent. I am guessing once Iran is done, I think the African nations where this genocide has been on going as long as Iran has been lost to jihad for 47 years.
It’s time to fix this jihad in Africa. But where is the UN? Where are all those groups condemning Israel for defending itself and ignoring the genocide in African nations?
As Lincoln said when his advisors said we should annex Canada: “one war at a time”
It isn’t genocide if Israel isn’t deemed to be the perpetrator. I have, in fact, been wondering if we should coin a new term, like “ethnocide” for the Holocaust and the Armenian and Anatolian genocides, and leave “genocide” as a term which only ever applies to Muslim victims.
Well, “the world yawns” because western “Christianity” is dying the slow death of apathy. In the third world, especially Africa, Christianity is vibrant and alive despite the constant and deadly threat. Nigeria is about half and half Christian and Muslim. But … the government is Muslim and has no intention of helping Christians. Can anyone imagine any Islamic government in the world that would?
Palm Sunday saw an attack in Nigeria. On Good Friday it was Congo. On Easter it was Nigeria again. Whenever our holy days are near Ramadan the usual holy day violence is multiplied. Ramadan and. Easter are both officially over, but the killing continues.
As it always does.
As in the days of Nehemiah when he and his men were busy in the reconstruction of the walls around Jerusalem and the Arab became furious and indigent at this at this grand project of the rebuilding of the walls. Neh 4:1 and they thus despised the Jews , Neh. 4:4 ,and schemed terrorist attacks against them.
So the Jewish men set up watch for such attacks, Neh 4:8, therefore ,on this watch they set up guards to be ready for those terrorists attacks , Neh 4;16.
Likewise, in this twenty –first century in areas of the world, as the nations of as Nigeria ,, Christians need to be “on watch and stand firm” First Corinthians 16:13.,as to be on guard from jihad-minded Muslim terrorist attacks against Christians .
For Christians together compose the symbolic body of Christ, Ephesians 1:13. 5:30.
Furthermore, it should be made known that the Muslim terrorists who engage in the persecution of Christians will not get away from the punishment of God for their wicked actions. As seen in Romans 14: 12. First Corinthians 3: 16, 17. Galatians 6:7.
Christians are instructed to “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.”
First Corinthians 16:13. [N.K.J.V.]
