There is truly a war on women going on that radical Democrats and defenders of “women’s rights” say nothing about. We do not read even muted comments about this other war: namely, the application of female genital mutilation (FGM) in sub-Saharan Africa and throughout the Middle East. It’s estimated, for example, that 97% of the women in Egypt have undergone this primitive, excruciating, and wholly unnecessary practice. Just this month, the Islamic State (sometimes referred to as ISIS or ISIL) issued a fatwa (a theocratic, binding command) that all women living in the areas they control will undergo FGM. Estimates vary, but it will apply to approximately four million women between the ages of 11 and 46.
The liberals, who downplay the threat of Islam to Western civilization, hide behind “cultural relativism” on this one. There is no outcry against this barbaric practice. Instead, the cultural relativist says to himself or herself, That’s just how some third world folks are. You can’t expect people to change overnight. In short, the culpability of Third-World countries is minimized.
This type of reasoning fails to acknowledge that there are good and real reasons why some countries are called civilized and some are called backwards. Adherents of it fail to see the importance of values in shaping people. And in particular they fail to see the significance of Judeo-Christian or biblical values, as in the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount, in shaping the defining moral and spiritual aspects of society.
Thus, FGM is often perceived by its opponents not as a clash of civilizations, but as a technical issue to be overcome, but not aggressively deplored. The Muslim world’s debates center on which type of FGM is “more sanctioned” by religious texts – the pharaonic circumcision, which requires the removal of the entire clitoris, or sunna circumcision, the most common form in the Islamic world, which requires removal of the fold of skin covering the clitoris (prepuce). While some Islamic clerics say circumcision is not obligatory for women, others say it is. An outraged West should incessantly be asking: is this a debate worth having?
The cutting of the clitoris of girls is intended to curb their sexual desire and preserve their sexual honor before marriage. The practice has a tremendous cost: many girls bleed to death or die of infection. Most are traumatized. Those who survive can suffer adverse health effects during marriage and pregnancy. New information from Iraqi Kurdistan raises the possibility that the problem is more prevalent in the Middle East than previously believed and that FGM is far more tied to Islam than many Western academics and activists admit.
When asked why they subject their daughters to the operation, many Muslim women respond that it has always been like that. Because the clitoris is considered “dirty” (haram), women fear that they cannot find husbands for their daughters if they have not been mutilated, and many believe that men prefer sex with a mutilated wife. Others stress the Islamic necessity of FGM.
When the jihadists denounce Christianity, denounce Judaism, and denounce the West (especially the “Great Satan,” the USA), they are declaring war to the death. Among our many irreconcilable differences with the Muslim world is our rejection of their inhuman violence against women.
We are in WWIII. It is a war of civilizations. Although religion is paramount for the jihadists, it is not for the West. One side of this conflict is Western, pleasure-seeking, technological, democratic, and motivated by Judeo-Christian values. Interwoven in this gestalt are socialistic, communistic, and quasi-humanistic ideas of progress (derived from Judeo-Christian ideals yet not acknowledging that derivation). The other side is motivated by a fierce Quranic fundamentalism.
If we do not win in the struggle against Islamic supremacism, the cult of FGM will have prevailed. Who can bear the thought?

How did male circumcision originate?
All you need to know is that the country with the lowest rate of cervical cancer is Israel.

There is no comparison in any way whatsoever between circumcision of males (removing the foreskin of the penis) and female genital mutilation, but leftists and Jew haters often try to conflate the two to pretend Jews are also “mutilating” penises so “they’re just as bad” as muslim FGM (even though many cultures and peoples throughout history perform male circumcision including muslims!). Such conflations (I’ve heard them from leftists for years) are based in Jew hate not “science”. TMI but I know this fact as a male who was circumcized as a young adult and can attest 50 years later — there is no difference — the organ in question was great before and it was just as great after (and still is! not dead yet). So if your question was to conflate the two — what was your motive? Male circumcision became standard practice for males in the USA in WW2 to prevent venereal disease in soldiers because uncircumcized penises get more VD (and HIV btw) via Langerhans cells found in the foreskin that provide a direct link to the blood stream so removing foreskin reduces STD transmission rates, so it caught on when these soldiers had sons because like father, like son. Nothing to do with the Jews — so no groyper sneak attack fodder here.
Male circumcision is a health precaution, as well as being a sign of God’s covenant with Abraham and his descendants. Circumcised men have a much reduced risk of penile cancer, and their sexual partners are also less likely to suffer from cervical cancer, due to contaminants caught under the foreskin of the male. The OT requirement was that baby boys should be circumcised at eight days old; science has since established that at this age they still have pain-killing endorphins in circulation from the birth, and that this is the point at which vitamin K and clotting factor peak. Other research has shown that the older a male is when he undergoes circumcision, the more it hurts – whether this is due to immaturity of a younger child’s central nervous system, or to older boys and men simply having a larger area to be cut, I’m not sure.
Circumcision was ordained of God when He commanded Abraham to circumcise himself (and all the males in his household) when he was ninety nine. (Ouch)!
For newborns, circumcision is on the 8th day when, medically speaking, there is the least amount of bleeding.

I wonder how many of the foolish women who voted for Mamdani have made appointments with their doctor to have this procedure done to them. Or even if they realize that’s a procedure practiced by his religion. Maybe PP can start doing this along with eliminating unborn children.
PP could probably offer a multi-buy offer – abort your infant and get your FGM done on the same visit! I’m only surprised that they don’t administer assisted dying as well.
I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia in the late 60’s. I lived with a tribe of Muslims who removed the clitoris from their women. It was an identity thing where circumcised women called the uncircumcised women “monkeys”.

For on page 178 it reveals to the reader that “One of the most devastating practices to young girls of the Islamic world is female genital mutilation. Young girls have their clitoris removed without anesthesia…”

It’s just like scrapping the label off of a small jar the ricin that reads “Danger Ricin: Deadly Poison” that replacing that truthful label with another label that has the words printed on it “Apple e Juice.” Just changing the label doesn’t change the deadly element that is contained in that Jar.”
Likewise, calling female genital mutilation by term “female circumcision” doesn’t change the nature savage brutal Islamic action that so cruelly done young girls. In reality it’s FGM.
This is a reminder that a scholar of Islam had revealed the disturbing horrible truth in her book “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in Islam ideology.” Furthermore, the author also exposed that `” Women is Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.” [1]

The abject stupidity of so many western women is completely disheartening. The inflicted pain and suffering of FGM often includes sewing up part of the entry into the vagina making sexual intimacy painful, it affects the proper flow of blood during menstruation and most certainly makes the pain in labor an excruciating part of giving birth.
Having survived sexual violation, violence and neglect throughout childhood, for the life of me this western silence about the most punitive form of violent, sexual mutilation horrifies me and it is evidence of western womens’ ignorance and complete indifference to the suffering of other women. Me, me, me is the willful furtherance of psychopathic culture. These western women standing in their Hamas headbands and wrapped in keffiyehs screaming out their designated talking points stand being readied for a REAL VICTIMHOOD; the war against affirming their rights as women. Thus, this warfare against them should be an eye-opening understanding of the inherent misogyny encapsulated in the Quran and it should fuel all womens’ condemnation of their affiliations with a self-proclaimed prophet who hates the unique beauty and sexuality of women.
Time for the conservative women of influence with podcasts or TV shows to have guests who will speak truthfully about this malignant procedure to international audiences with testimonies from those women who have been victims of this horror and are now survivors.
FGM is but another coupling of the grotesque dominance of ruthless men completely frightened by the power of femininity seeking to destroy it through their savage brutality. Islamic supremacism is a much more helpful term than Islamism, because it doesn’t require its users to impose false dichotomies on Islam – it is up to the hearer to decide what percentage of Muslims are included.
And, so, those who fiercely proclaim the infallibility of God are, at the same time, saying that God made a mistake. I actually heard one Muslim man say that Allah had put something very bad between women’s legs. Muslims seem to have a thing against pleasure.
Surely it is blasphemous to presume to correct Allah’s “defective” design of the female body. Muslims do not object to pleasure, Maven – only to female pleasure.
I met Maasai women going village to village teaching alternatives to FGM. A slight cut to draw blood accomplishes two goals, it maintains the tradition within the culture and allows women the extreme pleasure the clitoris was created for in the first place.
