When it comes to Muslim terrorism, the official trope is that “it’s always mental illness until you find a video of him pledging allegiance to ISIS” and even then there’s some wriggle room.
Little surprise then that the media is trying to sell the “he was just sad” angle to explain why Rahmanullah Lakanwal traveled from Washington State to D.C. and then ambushed and shot and killed two members of the National Guard.

Uh-huh. Dark isolation. So he wore all black, listened to heavy metal and wrote bad poetry?
Rahmanullah Lakanwal may have behaved in an unstable manner, but there’s no metric for stable behavior for Afghans compared to Americans due to cultural differences.
The Afghan Muslim terrorist didn’t just lash out. He had a plan. He traveled across the country to D.C., someplace where he knew he would find members of the National Guard (especially because the media has taken to extensively reporting on their location in great detail) and murdered two of them in cold blood.
That’s not what you do when you have the ‘sads’. That’s not sadness or mental illness. It’s terrorism. By a guy from a country where terrorism is the leading national export after drugs.
The cover-up is really not going to work.

I saw the news this morning reporting he was “radicalized” in the US. Shouldn’t his Mosque and Imam be investigated? Islamophobia be damned!

The waste-stream media is bandying about the phrase “he was RADICALized!”
“Radicalized.”
In the case of muslims this means they went to a mosque where they were taught what is in the Koran, Hadith and Sunna which is pretty much what is done at every mosque in the world.
It’s what keeps producing generations of ISIS-style combatants and has for 1400 very successful years so far if by “success” you mean conquering a nation by fire, sword or demographic exclusion (out-breeding the prevalent race/culture).
Make a note of how many times you have heard this buzzword “radicalized” in reference to someone who just coincidentally happens to be a muslim and killed a single person or a group of people with a bomb, a car, truck, or any other weapon while shouting “Allah is greater” (Allah HU akbar) and not something like “justice for second amendment activists!”
“Radicalized” in the context of islam simply means they’re now foot soldiers.

In the aftermath of the attempted Times Square bombing in 2010, Mayor Bloomberg comically suggested the bomber was ” . . . someone with a political agenda that doesn’t like the Healthcare Bill (Obamacare) or something.”
Liberal activist reporters then suggested bomber was “a lone nut job or some squirrely branch of the Tea Party, anti-government far right.”
Politico suggested “the bomb was placed by a right-wing lunatic | the right wing media bears some responsibility . . .”
When it turned out to be Pakistani, Faisal Shahzad his motive was ascribed to his frustration with his mortgage.
(Bloomberg’s response was to piously warn “We will not tolerate any bias or backlash against Pakistani or muslim New Yorkers.”)
It wasn’t sadness. It wasn’t a mortgage issue, and to the disappointment of reporters, it wasn’t a right-winger.
It was a jihadist following his belief in ISLAM.

The more whitewash of Islamic terrorism, the more frequent is going to get. It will come a point where will be imposable to stop it. The time is now to deal with it.
