Order Jamie Glazov’s new book, ‘United in Hate: The Left’s Romance with Tyranny, Terror, and Hamas’: HERE.
It’s been a month since Israel began its Operation Roaring Lion and America began its Operation Epic Fury, both directed at ending the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile threats against them and, as it became clear, against the Gulf Arab states as well. Both President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have made public their views on what has been achieved so far, as the war appears to be approaching a climax. More on the remarks by both leaders can be found here: “Trump: No deal needed to end the war, Iran won’t be able to obtain a nuke ‘for years,’” by Jacob Magid and Lazar Berman, Times of Israel, March 31, 2026:
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said Iran does not have to agree to a deal to end the ongoing US-Israeli war with the Islamic Republic, and stated that the United States will probably wrap up the war in two or three weeks.
The White House later announced that Trump would “address the nation” on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. Eastern time to provide an update on the war.
Trump also declared that Iran’s surviving stockpiles of enriched uranium did not concern him at all since they are buried underground and inaccessible, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boasted that Israel, during the current conflict, has “smashed” Tehran’s ability to produce nuclear weapons.
The remarks from both Trump and Netanyahu appeared to potentially set the stage for the conclusion of the war, even as the US has been amassing troops for a potential ground operation in Iran.
“No, [the Iranians] don’t have to make a deal,” Trump said in response to reporters’ questions at the White House, which later announced the president will “address the nation” about the war on Wednesday at 9 p.m. eastern time.
“When we feel that they are… put into the stone ages and won’t be able to come up with a nuclear weapon, then we’ll leave, whether we have a deal or not,” he said. “It’s irrelevant now.”…
Trump added that it would take Iran “10 years to rebuild” after the war….
That may be, but we must remember that Trump is given to hyperbole. After the Twelve-Day War last June, he insisted that the Americans had “obliterated” Iran’s entire nuclear program, including destroying the 400 kg. of uranium enriched to a level of 60%. That turned out to be false. The uranium is still there, deep underground, and no one can be sure just how deeply it is buried, and how much rubble lies on top of it.
At the beginning of the current war, Iran had 3,000 ballistic missiles. It is now estimated to have only 1,000. IDF bombs destroyed some, and others were used up in attacks on Israel and on seven Gulf Arab states. Iran also has seen 90% of its missile launchers destroyed or so damaged that they cannot function. Furthermore, all of the factories that produce those ballistic missiles have been destroyed. In addition, on March 27, Israel destroyed most of two large steel mills in Isfahan, though Iran has others that are still intact, but likely not for long; they are on the IDF’s To-Do List.
For a campaign that is only one month old, it’s quite a record. Every single ballistic missile factory has been smashed to smithereens. As for Iran’s nuclear project, both the Americans and the Israelis have hit, repeatedly, the uranium enrichment facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and in Isfahan, and the Americans, who used their bunker-buster bombs, believe that the famous 400 kg. of uranium enriched to a level of 60% is now under so many tons of rubble that it will be impossible for the Iranians to ever dig it up. But in case the Iranians should try to unearth it, the IDF’s spy satellites will pick up any activity at the sites and the Israeli and American air forces can then “mow the grass” with a policy of instantaneous bombing on those same suspiciously-tended sites.
Well done, airmen and soldiers, of both America and Israel. Now let’s see what you can accomplish in another few weeks of bombs aweigh while Iran flails out with the little it has left, in every direction, sealing the enmity of every one of its neighbors.

That tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran is the enemy the Iranian people, through that misery and death inflecting horrific Islamic tyranny of Iran, which is evil in sense of that word.
Therefore, that Islamic tyranny is so terribly horrific and cruelly oppressive that it should be overthrown and replaced with a legitimate, genuine, government, which respects and safeguards those natural human rights of the people of Iran.
For that horrendously cruel oppressive malicious and murderous Islamic regime of Iran, denies the Iranian, people their basic natural human rights. As in consequence the people of Iran would and should revolt against that viciously brutal tyrannical “’mullah regime” of Iran.
Accordingly, the Iranian people are right and righteous by engaging in bitter and strong protests against those cruel malicious and murderous tyrants in power of that cruel and oppressive Sharia based dictatorship of that vicious Islamic regime of Iran.
In other words, those vicious despots of that horrendously horrific Islamic regime have provoked the people excessively too far.
In addition, some of the people who trapped in and forced to exist in the Islamic dictatorship of Iran might not know about the intellect philosopher John Locke, but his ideas do apply to them. For Mr. Locke taught that any good government has the duty to ensure the security and safety of its citizens. So the people under the bondage and oppression of a tyrannical government do have every natural and ethical right to overthrow that terrible and oppressive tyrannical government.
Much as people (me included) want to believe in this regime-vs.-people dichotomy, it has been shown time and again to be a delusion when Islamic countries are concerned. Indeed, in the war with Iran, also, there has so far been zero evidence that the population at large does not support the regime.
The attempt to shock the Islamic rulers with a military attack in order to encourage a counter-revolution appears to have been overly optimistic, and may prove to be a disastrous miscalculation of the true spirit of the Iranian population. Nobody survives in power for nearly 50 years if they are universally hated by their subjected. There must be widespread support for such resilience to become possible.
The sane approach to Islamic countries should be to consider them as a monolithic threat, rather than clutching at academic straws about their fractured societies and non-existent true loyalty to rulers. This may all be true, but it is also irrelevant to the war with Islam and dangerously so, because it gives the heartlands of Islamic terrorism and expansionism effective immunity from the only strategy that can defeat or contain the threat.
Israel has been going through this insupportable theater with Lebanon for the entirety of Israel’s existence. It is always some “evil organization” that supposedly took Lebanon hostage and uses it a base to attack Israel; Lebanon as a country is always deemed a victim and never held responsible for its perpetual acts of war. Moreover, being a fake victim frames any Israeli retaliation as further victimization, rather than justified retribution.
This mentality is nothing less than the military expression of Western suicidalism at its finest. The results cannot lead anywhere but suicide.
It should be made clear that this American –Israel alliance war against that horrific “mullah regime” is not against Iran and certainly not against the Iranian people.
For the Iranian people should be aided by America and Israel in their righteous and just quest for freedom from the horrendously oppressive misery -and death inflecting tyrannical regime of Iran.
For when freed from that oppressive tyranny ,they then they may establish .legitimate government which ensures and respects the basic natural human rights of its citizens.
It’s a complete and total waste of effort and time as we as fools quest to even attempt to have rational logical talks with those dangerous disingenuous deceptive liars who are the despots of that Islamic tyranny of Iran . For they are dishonest . and will not keep their word in Anthony they might promise or sign.
Hopefully President Trump will to realize that learning from history that President Truman didn’t agree to any “talks” with the any of representatives of Nazi Germany for hope “ceasefire agreement “that would have been folly and fool quest to take, especially since American was winning the war. Likewise, since America is winning the war with that ‘mullah regime” of Iran to try to have any kind of “deal ‘ with those villains who ar e the dictators of Iran would be folly and foolishness. The heads of that Islamic regime are just a evil and Hitler his other higher ups in Nazi Germany.
This war against that horrendous “mullah regime” of Iran needs to end in the complete destruction of the most evil and horrific horrendously dangerous Islamic tyrannical regime of Iran . As it had been ,rightly and wisely said “Half -measures in was is madness and folly,”
Five weeks in, with a destroyed air force, a destroyed missile program, a destroyed navy, and bunch of dead mullahs, the war is going just fine.
Of course we have the few naysayers who just have to bitch, whine, moan and complain. These are the same people who would have clutched their pearls in the 1940s because N. Africa and D-Day weren’t going fast enough, and amazingly they are still with us. These are the leftists who pretty much were responsible for us losing Viet Nam and Afghanistan……the Walter Cronkite crowd. The Joe Kents.
To hell with all of them. Thank God for Trump.
Happy Easter
Thinking of Mark Steyne who has gone very negative. He doesn’t seem to realize this is Trump and Netanyahu, not Bush or Obama or Biden or LBJ. And Hegseth knows about losing strategies and will avoid them. It’s winning the peace that Steyne ,etc feel we’ll lose. Not if we stick to the plan and also hopefully Palavhi will garner enough support to take over.
I don’t see Steyne’s work much anymore. I used to enjoy his writing.
He commented again today on the war, specifically the rescue of the Air Force officer.. He downplayed it, thought it was suspicious that SEAL Team 6 and not Air Force PJ’s didn’t do the rescue along with poo pooing Trump’s strong threats against the mullahs. Sad that Steyne has gone this way.
For so long as Islamists govern Iran, however “moderate,” there will remain an open door for Twelvers to regain control of that benighted land’s government and resume their terror campaign against western civilization. Those evil men will find ready allies in America’s geopolitical competitors, and supine acceptance from heavily infiltrated secular western Europe.
America can play “whack a mole” on the military capabilities of an Iranian terror state until the Second Coming, or it can seek to restore non-Islamist government to Iran. That is the uncomfortable dilemma thrust on President Trump by the mullahs exploitation of his predecessors’ perfidious support of the Islamists in Iran that enabled the mullahs to amass enriched uranium on the threshold of weaponization and build missiles of increasing capability.
The secular West no longer has the will to resist Islamic evil. It is up to President Trump and his allies to make the case to preserve civilization for another generation by defeating the extremist mullahs and permitting freedom to return to Iran.
