Bellingham, Washington is a small city of less than 100,000. Its name is now linked to three Muslim terrorists. And some of the most notorious ones too.
Before Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan Muslim, drove from Bellingham to kill 2 members of the National Guard in D.C. as part of an Islamic terrorist attack, John Allen Muhammad and his protégé, Lee Boyd Malvo, terrorized D.C. with sniper attacks.
How did a small Washington city harbor 3 Muslim terrorists who then went on to attack D.C. all the way across the country?
Let’s start with why the Afghan Muslim terrorist was in Bellingham, Washington.
In a 2023 report from the Immigration Research Initiative, Washington State ranked 8th among the nation for refugees per capita. Per the report, in the past ten years, Washington has welcomed 20,454 refugees – making 264 refugees per 100,000 state residents.
The number one origin point of ‘refugees’ in Washington? Afghans. Around 500 Afghans invaded Washington in just one year.
Refugee resettlement in Bellingham is handled by World Relief.
Southeast Washington’s only refugee resettlement agency was forced to furlough 30% of its employees this week, staff told the Tri-City Herald.
The furloughs at World Relief Tri-Cities come as the Trump administration’s immigration policies rocked refugee and immigrant service organizations.
World Relief – with offices in Tri-Cities, Olympia, Bellingham, Spokane and Seattle – is a global Christian humanitarian organization with a mission to mobilize local churches to support refugees and other immigrants.
While World Relief is more legitimately Christian than some refugee resettlement charities like the Lutheran groups that just pump Muslims in America, it claims credit for helping over 2,000 Afghans invade America.
John Allen Muhammad was not a Muslim migrant, but Bellingham is fairly liberal and he and Malvo were staying in a homeless shelter there.
People talk about blue cities and states self-destructing with their social policies, but we’re one country. What Bellingham does, doesn’t stay in Bellingham.

I’ve been to Bellingham. It’s a shithole over filled with the usual suspects. I had a girlfriend there when I lived in Seattle. I went there once and that was more than enough.
I see we have a shithole lover here.
Communities that allow for terrorists to live and become Sanctuaries should be held liable for all the crimes committed and bring up real lawsuits against them
“World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization with a mission to mobilize local churches to support refugees and other immigrants.”
Why? Why are they doing this?
How dare these “Christian” groups dump third world invaders into places that have not voted for this. What gives these Christian organizations the right to disrupt and terrorize citizens without our consent. Money — money gives them the right — they get paid to do this! They are despicable!
These “Christian humanitarian organizations” should be held liable for the crimes of “their” invader proteges and prosecuted, fined and jailed. Revoke their tax exemptions and tax their properties. Call out their hypocrisy and money grubbing. Maybe that will expose their loathsome arrogance.
Could someone here who is Christian (or Jewish if they’re also doing it) please explain why their religion is “supporting” this third world invasion against the will of fellow citizens. And also explain why so many Christians speak and write against third world invasion yet say nothing about the fact that Christian organizations — not Antifa or Marxists — are the primary drivers (for money) of this invasion and destruction of our neighbourhoods and our lives.
“…Bellingham is fairly liberal…” Understatement of the year.
Having visited Seattle and the surrounding area many times the 80s & early 90s and liking it, after I sold my buildings in Denver, I decided to take my boat over to Bellingham and open a small bistro. Went there to check it out and Good Lord, it was far worse than Boulder plus the Bay was so polluted from 100 years of Boise Cascade, you couldn’t eat the fish. I said no way and went to Montana….without my boat.
Ended up on the Peninsula and hate this state. Taking care of an old friend, now blind & disabled. Funny how things turn out.
