Palestine Action (PA) is an especially violent anti-Israel group that, as part of its remit, tries to shut down Israeli companies doing business in the U.K. It invades buildings, smashes machines, sets on fire whatever is flammable. And it does not spare anyone in its way, including the police. So far the PA “activists” have not yet killed anyone, but give them time. The latest story is about a Palestine Action squad entering a London building belonging to Elbit, an Israeli defense company. They found there a policewoman, Kate Evans, who then tried to arrest one of their number, Zoe Rogers. At that. point, another member of Palestine Action, Samuel Corner, swung a sledgehammer over his shoulder and swung it at her from behind, hitting her right on her spine, leaving her with excruciating pain ever since, and the immediate fear, as she testified in court, that her spine might have been broken. A police sergeant thought her spine may have ‘shattered’ and feared being ‘paralysed’ after a Palestine Action activist hit her in the back with a sledgehammer, a court has heard.
Sergeant Kate Evans was allegedly hit by an activist who broke into a defence firm’s factory in 2024 while she tried to arrest another trespasser.
Afterwards, Sergeant Evans was unable to drive, dress, or walk unaided. Even today, almost two years later, she is in “constant pain” from the attack.
Six activists entered the UK site of Israel-based defence firm Elbit Systems near Bristol on August 6, 2024, destroying property and clashing with security guards and police, it is alleged.
Prosecutors said Samuel Corner hit Sergeant Evans while she was on her knees trying to arrest Zoe Rogers.
The pair are on trial with four other defendants – Charlotte Head, Leona Kamio, Fatema Rajwani and Jordan Devlin – at Woolwich Crown Court.
Sergeant Evans told the court on Friday: ‘It was a thud and it just dispersed, I felt it in my back, it dispersed across my whole body, down my legs, everywhere.’
She said she had been ‘shocked’, ‘in disbelief’ and ‘scared’, adding: ‘I thought my spine could have been shattered from the impact, I didn’t know if I could move, whether I was paralysed at the time.’
Her colleague PC Peter Adams told the court that Corner hit Sergeant Evans with a ‘considerable amount of force’.
PC Adams said he ‘heard her scream in pain from the impact’ and added Corner was ‘clearly a threat at that time’.
His colleague PC Aaron Buxton said he saw Corner raise the sledgehammer over his shoulder and strike Sergeant Evans, who made an ‘immediate noise of pain’.
He told jurors that Corner had previously swung the sledgehammer towards him ‘multiple times’ as he was on the floor struggling with Devlin….
So Samuel Corner had already swung his sledgehammer several times at PC Buxton’s leg, while the latter was trying to subdue another Palestine Action member before attacking Sergeant Evans.
In the early hours of the morning the six defendants, dressed in red jumpsuits, crashed into the shutters outside the factory in a prison van driven by Head which was ‘used as a battering ram’, the court previously heard….
Where did the Palestine Action people manage to steal a prison van? That act of theft alone should put the thief and his accomplices in jail for a few years, with a much longer sentence for Samuel Corner, the man who inflicted bodily harm on one police officer and serious bodily harm on another. And perhaps the other five defendants could be charged as accessories to Corner, for they did nothing to prevent him from repeatedly using his sledgehammer. The evidence may show that they were egging him on to deal violently with “the pigs.”
All six are guilty of the wanton destruction of property. For that, sentences of three to five years would be appropriate. For committing “grievous bodily harm” with his sledgehammer, Samuel Corner deserves an extra five to ten years. An exemplary punishment is called for. Make it sufficiently long that others of his savage ilk, consumed with their hatred of the Jewish state, will decide, after all, that they’d better refrain from violence; the British judiciary is in a no-nonsense mood; no matter how pleasurable it may be to attack the police, it just isn’t worth it. Meanwhile, just keep mindlessly chanting “globalize the Intifada” at the top of your lungs. At this point, the law of diminishing returns sets in, and no one will pay you no never mind.

“Sets on fire whatever is flammable?” I think you mean “inflammable,” as in “capable of becoming inflamed.”
It can be either. Both “flammable” and “inflammable” are correct, meaning something that can easily ignited. Inflammable is the older spelling.
Reason number a bazillion and one that modern cops should be both armed and trained and willing to shoot to protect themselves and others.

But it does sound like PM Starmer’s England now.
I wonder how long this beyond stupid nightmare will continue, and when will the real Englishmen finally stand up?

Someday I will understand if something has happened to men (what have they put in the food or water?) or if I have just seen too many Charles Bronson movies.
They were beat down from a very young age by the media and middle age female leftists. Every dumbass or criminal you see on TV, be it a TV show or commercial, is a white male. Fathers were at fault for not stopping it, but many were already half beat down themselves. I guess I’d have to say the root cause is men, being one myself, for not putting the hammer down. Look at a lion pride. Mom raises the kids and runs daily life, but when the feces gets deep, the 500 lb dad comes over the hill kick’s ass, everyone’s ass. It might be looked upon as over the top, but injustice and shenanigans stop then and there. That should have been the case in the sixties.

This sissified piece of dung wouldn’t last 24 hours in Cowboy Country if he tried it here. Heck. I’d be very tempted to go to Britain and take care of the trash but since I’m already on Fruit Nazi Keir Starmer’s enemies list I guess I can’t.
The charge should be “attempted murder of a police office in the process of discharging their duties” and the sentence should be at the Crown’s pleasure, which means throw away the key.
No person takes a sledgehammer to anyone. Attempted murder by a monster or depraved lunatic.
